Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a beautiful 1997 Lotus Esprit V8 Twin Turbo. Lotus rolled out their first Esprit in 1976. The idea was a lightweight fiberglass body wrapped around a steel backbone which housed a mid mounted engine which delivered power to the rear wheels. The formula was one for a very sporty car which was fine tuned over the years. In 1996 Lotus released a big surprise in the form of a self-developed 3.5 Liter aluminum V8 with is augmented by twin Garrett Turbochargers. This set is was capable of 500+ HP. The standard transmission is a 5 speed manual Renault transmission. Tests in the day achieved 0-60MPH in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of over 175 MPH. With these stats, this 1997 model is still competitive against todays sports cars. This particular example is a clean stock example in beautiful red over Tan leather. It rides on OZ Racing wheels with summer tires in all four corners. This vehicle is an absolute joy to drive. The seating position is all business, the exhaust note is incredible, and the acceleration will excite even the most seasoned driver. The V8 has nice torque even from no RPMs and then once the turbos spool up an exhilarating whoosh of power is unleashed. If youve never driven a turbocharged car before, it is a sensation you must experience. This is a car that is for the driving enthusiast. This Particular example is possibly one of the cleanest low mile offerings we have ever seen. with only 16442 Actual miles and a clean carfax history, as well as a full service history, this is the one for a serious collector. You can see this 1997 Lotus Esprit V8 Twin Turbo in our Dallas showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call 817-310-9400 or email Dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com with any questions.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present this One of Kind 1981 Ford Bronco Where do we start with something like this 1981 Ford Bronco 4x4? The $40,000 engine? The awesome off-road suspension? The comfortable OEM-grade interior? This is a truck that does it all and is priced at pennies on the dollar compared to how much it cost to build. And wont that kid in the Camaro be surprised when this giant 4x4 just walks away from him? Wearing black paint, this is an intimidating Bronco. It isnt heavily modified or wildly customized (well, aside from the giant blower hanging out of the hood, I suppose) but its definitely got presence. The paint is still in excellent shape and if you want to bump it back onto the show field, professional wet sand and buff would make it sparkle. This was never a rust bucket and it never seems to have lived up to its potential in the rough stuff, so its arrow-straight and extremely tight, although there are a few areas that could be touched up to improve it a bit. On the other hand, youll never hesitate to open the throttle and have some fun with it in its current state, and with upgrades like the brush guard and fog lamps up front, tubular step bars, and rear-mounted spare tire, it definitely looks like its made to party. Fender flares were expertly integrated into the sheet metal and almost look OEM and the factory chrome bumpers help disguise the massive firepower hiding within. The handsome charcoal gray interior is in excellent condition, with the bucket seat wearing newer Ford seat covers that look like OEM upholstery. The dash hasnt been baked by the sun and the door panels have custom embroidery on them to dress things up a bit. Despite being a big horsepower truck thats built for combat, its coddling and comfortable inside thanks to options like power windows and locks, handsome burled wood appliques on the dash and steering wheel, and an incredible AM/FM/CD stereo system with a barrage of speakers and subwoofers in the cargo area. I suppose youll need all that firepower to drown out the sound of horsepower coming from upfront. You also get a leather wrapper on the wheel, a full complement of factory gauges plus auxiliary dials on the A-pillar, and a slick-shifting 5-speed that was purchased a brand new before it could be installed in a new F350. Theres also a chrome roll bar for those times youre running with the roof removed.OK, now the engine. Built by Al Moody Racing, its a 560 cubic inch Ford V8 topped by an 8-71 supercharger from BDS. Its fuel-injected, so it starts easily and idles well despite the massive blower and the internals are all top-of-the-line components that are backed by build receipts. Theres race-grade hardware throughout, including braided lines for fuel and a custom serpentine belt drive system for the accessories. A giant radiator keeps this mountain motor cool and most of the components are there if you want to get the A/C up and working again. The aforementioned 5-speed manual transmission feeds the stock Ford 2-speed transfer case and axles, which have been upgraded with aluminum covers that help with cooling and capacity. A custom Flowmaster exhaust system sounds awesome and the six-inch lift kit includes heavy-duty springs, shocks, and twin stabilizers upfront. Gigantic 36x14.50-15 Mickey Thompson tires on polished aluminum wheels complete the look and really fill those fenders properly. An incredible build thats documented with receipts, this truck is either too much fun or a show-winner waiting to be born. Which way will you take it? Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this head-turning 1966 Plymouth Barracuda for sale on consignment at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The Barracuda was an unfortunate victim of the popularity that Fords Mustang enjoyed- it was released 16 days earlier than the Pony Car but ended up being overlooked as a viable alternative. Today, both cars remain popular classics for different reasons; the Mustang enjoys a broad appeal while classic Barracudas are coveted due to their rarity. The large, sloping rear window that dominates the rear end of this Plymouth was the largest piece of glass produced in the automotive industry at the time of release. The Barracuda, based on Chryslers A-Body platform, offers a nice package as a fastback with 7 feet of cargo space and room for seating 5. This example has extra curb appeal thanks to an expensive Porsche “Guards Red paint color that is vibrant and hard to take your eyes off- this car was painted in Bright Red from the factory. The original 273 CID 2bbl V8 has been upgraded in this restored car to a 318 CID V8 that was first offered for 1967 models. Heavy duty rear shocks and leaf springs as well as Wilwood disc brakes provide sporty handling and sharp stopping while the three-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission linked to a rear end geared 3.25 gives smooth, reliable shifting. The 9 Ford housing for the differential is also an upgrade on this vehicle. Check out the stunning factory style Black vinyl interior on this Barracuda that oozes 60s nostalgia. The stock dash is there with an added tachometer and engine monitoring gauges for driver information. Theres an aftermarket stereo installed inside the glovebox as well to preserve the mostly original look. Front bucket seats were standard equipment on the Barracuda. This is a comfortable, fun car to drive and it would be a great way to get into the classic car world for someone looking to stand out in the crowd of Mustangs and Camaros. Give yourself a story to tell at the car show! Our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff can be reached by dialing (623) 900-4884. Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is Honored to present a striking, Firethorn Red, 1968 Pontiac GTO! When GM redesigned its intermediates for 1968 with more curvaceous, semi-fastback styling, no division had a tougher muscle car act to follow than Pontiac. A unique feature was the body-color Endura front bumper. It was designed to absorb impact without permanent deformation at low speeds. Pontiac touted this feature heavily in advertising, showing hammering at the bumper to no discernible effect. A GTO could be ordered with Endura delete, in which case the Endura bumper would be replaced by a chrome front bumper and grille from the Pontiac LeMans. The 1968 Pontiac GTO emerged as a brilliant blend of beauty and brawn. It sustained the styling leadership of the 1966-67 series, and its performance remained competitive against ever-tougher rivals. Our brilliant red exterior beauty has an equally stunning interior with white bucket seats, white door panels, and white headliner. Black carpeting and black dash complete the interior. If you entered this GTO in the next car show, you might take home the prize for best looking muscle car! Plus, looks aside, if you also entered a 0 - 60 m.p.h. contest in the same car show, you might win that competition, as well! This GTO will GET UP and GO! Lets just say, … good thing that she has power brakes! GTOs have been known to have a habit of making tracks and disappearing fast! Our hunch is that this one will be leaving soon, as well! Why not put a GTO in your garage? Call your friends in the classic car business in Kansas City at Gateway Classic Cars. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. cst. Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City, 1202 South lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this whacky and super fun 1964 Volkswagen Truck for sale! If you are looking for an attention getting, fun, and just all around crazy vehicle, then this may just be what you are looking for! This 1964 Volkswagen started life as a simple bus. Very cool in its own right, but the owner thought it could be taken even further. The result is something pretty amazing! After several years, this hot rod VW wheelie truck is what it became. To start, we will talk about what is powering this insane machine. It is a 2180cc VW engine with twin carbs, MSD ignition, and ceramic coated headers which puts out over 300hp! To manage the power and transfer it to the road, there is a Rancho racing 4-speed manual transmission. Paint is another eye-catching point about this vehicle. Two-tone blue and white separated by a subtle red stripe that really adds to the overall look. Moving inside, the blue continues with bucket seats with Infinity speakers in the headrest. Custom diamond plate gauge cluster is a nice touch as well, but the thing you will notice most is the huge Autogage racing tach on the dash! Not sure if this thing will actually do wheelies or not, but there are wheelie bars just in case. Either way, this thing will get you a lot of attention wherever you go! And you can bet you will have fun getting there! This 1964 Volkswagen truck is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom and can be seen in fantastic detail including 100+ HD photos and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our staff at (317) 688-1100 or email us at Indianapolis@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you want to see it for yourself, stop in to our Indianapolis Showroom located at 4400 W. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN 46268.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this rugged 1988 AM General M998. More commonly referred to as a HMMWV, aka Humvee. Before we go any further, PLEASE NOTE: this truck was procured through Iron Planet and is to be sold ONLY to buyers who are U.S. Citizens, and it is NOT for export. This vehicle was built to take a beating and withstand some of the toughest environments. This all-terrain beast is powered by a 6.5L diesel thats backed by a 3L80 3-speed automatic transmission, with about 4000 miles on the drive-train since the engine and transmission were rebuilt during its complete restoration in 2006 by the Maine Military Authority. During the 2006 restoration, the estimated cost of all of the work was around $40K: the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt, all seals were replaced as well as the driveshafts, and Tan CARC paint was applied. In 2018 it was stripped to bare metal, and then the body was covered in Cement Gray (color code 1H5). This truck comes with tons of extra bells and whistles, starting with OE military air conditioning (blows cold), OE military spare tire (drop-down style with ratchets), LED light bar in the cabin, OE military airlift rear bumper (so your buddy can pick you up in his military surplus CH-47 Chinook helicopter if you get out where you cant figure out how to drive back), OE (military) 60-inch deep fording kit, OE military winch, LED headlights and fog lights up front, LED side marker lights, OE military radio shelf, 2 OE military whip antennas with matching spring bases, OE military hard doors with soft armor upgrade (and they also have locks), new OEM soft top, new half-shafts, and all differential fluids have been recently replaced. It also has some non-OE options that most dont see on these trucks: 4 new vinyl seats, Sony AM/FM/Bluetooth radio, waterproof tower speakers, Cerwin-Vega subwoofer, 4 aviation headsets with mic and intercom system (youll find it makes it much easier to speak with each other in the cab - those big tires help add to the noise these trucks make; plus, you can listen to the sound systems music with them). It also has a CB Radio with an engine bay-mounted PA speaker, keyed ignition (not just pushbutton start), rear backup camera (youll be glad you have it), LED overhead exterior light bar, and a lockable rear center console. This truck can take you wherever you need to go with its prodigious territory-conquering ability. The almost brand-new NITTO 37X13.50R18LT Ridge Grappler radial tires have only about 1500 miles on them, and theyre wrapped around a giant set of aluminum Fuel wheels, which really provides a nice aggressive look. When you buy this HMMWV, youll be the owner of one of the nicest HMMWVs outside of Schwarzeneggers garage. M998s in this condition, with the kind of upgrades this one is equipped with, are extremely few and far between; so dont let it slip away! Description:

This gold 1972 Plymouth Cuda is now stealing the show at the Milwaukee showroom at Gateway Classic Cars. Among so many cool cars that proudly set example of what makes a top notch Mopar, there were a few models that truly took the cake on this. The Plymouth Cuda was one of which that did. Being based on the same chassis as the Dodge Challenger, which was also a heavy hitter in the mean muscle car department, there was expectation of what this car would be capable of being a cousin to a household name in high horsepower American cars. Equipped with a 340 cubic inch LA small block V8 under the hood, this Cuda fits under the street fighter mentality that it was originally built for. The V8 pushes its power through a 727 Torqueflight automatic 3-speed transmission that has proven time and time again to be amongst one of the greatest transmissions ever made by Chrysler. The drivetrain is also accompanied by a Chrysler 8 3/4 inch rear axle supplying strength to hold down the rear wheels. This Plymouths retro-muscle look is set off by the gold paint job that features side blackout graphics that would remind someone of the Challenger T/A. This car also features Magnum 500 wheels that are wrapped in radial tires featuring raised white lettering on the tires. The Cuda also features air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power steering, power brakes, and an aftermarket cruise control module to make driving this legendary muscle car an absolute breeze. This 1972 Plymouth Cuda is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144.
