Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1987 Cadillac Allante convertible for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. Presented in Pearl White with a red leather interior, and with 38,404 miles on the odometer and a clean AutoCheck vehicle history report, this two door, two seat luxury roadster is ready to drive on a daily basis or to be used as a weekend cruiser. Features include air conditioning, AM-FM Cassette audio, cruise control, power brakes, steering, locks, seats, windows and mirrors. Contemporary safety equipment includes traction control, anti-lock brakes, seat belts, and driver and passenger airbags. The Cadillac Allant was produced by Cadillac from 1987 until 1993. It used a Cadillac chassis and running gear with a body built in Italy by coachbuilder Pininfarina. It was expensive to produce with the complete bodies flown to Detroit for final assembly. Over 21,000 were built during its seven-year production run. All Allant models featured a fully electronic instrument and control panel, which was angled towards the driver, and featured no knobs or manual controls. The front-wheel drive Allant roadster featured a transverse multi-port fuel injected variant of GMs aluminum 4.1 L (250 cu in) HT-Cadillac 4100 V8, along with roller valve lifters, high-flow cylinder heads, and a tuned intake manifold. Suspension was independent strut front and rear, with Bosch ABS III four-wheel disc brakes. A removable aluminum hardtop, Delco-GM/Bose Symphony Sound System (a $905 option on other Cadillacs), the industrys first power retractable AM/FM/Cellular Telephone antenna, and a complex lamp-out module that substituted an adjacent lamp for a burned-out bulb in the exterior lighting system until the dead one could be replaced were all standard. To view this very nice 1987 Cadillac Allante, please visit our website at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. This super quiet power plant is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission that gives this car a driving experience that is unlike other Fiero options. The interior flows well with the paint color and features tan vinyl bucket seats with seat belts, an AM/FM/Cassette player, manual sunroof, power locks, power windows, tilt steering wheel, and so much more! The odometer on this car shows that this car has about 61,000 miles on it, however it is unclear as to when being converted to electric was accomplished. Description:

Mercedes attractive SLK roadster appeared in 1996 as a competitor to cars like the Porsche Boxster and BMW Z3. This convertible with a folding steel retractable hardtop married Sacco styling to the existing W202 C-Class platform to create a less expensive alternative to the SL series convertibles, and as such is seen as sort of like a spiritual successor to the 190SL of four decades earlier. Initially offered with a range of engines that included 2.0-liter supercharged and normally aspirated inline fours, the US debut saw a supercharged and intercooled 2.3-liter, 192-hp engine from the beginning of the 1998 model year. A 5-speed manual transmission was standard but a 5-speed automatic being optional for all engine choices. The SLK was a runaway hit upon its introduction with favorable in-period reviews from journalists as well as several top-10 and car of the year accolades that initially resulted in Mercedes having difficulty meeting demand for their new roadster. Time has shown these cars to be mostly trouble free as long as scheduled maintenance is consistently attended to and they remain a relatively inexpensive and thoroughly entertaining avenue into Mercedes roadster ownership. Our very nice silver exterior with black interior SLK 230 offers huge value when it comes to affordable style, class and luxury! Where else can you find a Benz Roadster packing a punch under the hood thanks to a supercharged and intercooled 2.3-liter, 192-hp engine with an automatic transmission zip around town in for this price tag? Plus, superior options such as air conditioning, stereo radio with cd player, retractable hardtop, cruise, power window, power locks, leather interior and much more cool stuff! Can you see yourself enjoying life in this fantastic Mercedes-Benz? But try not to see this vision of happiness too long! This fine, affordable machine is going to sell fast! So, call your friends in the classic car business in Kansas City today. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. cst. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1982 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista. We love cars that have been maintained well even if they have a few more miles on them. This 1982 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista is one package down from the Super Sport. New for 1982 was the front-end styling. The 1982 models sported a crosshatch grille with quad headlights. This particular model came with the option 305 V-8 backed up by a 3-speed automatic transmission. When getting in this car we simply bumped the started and that 305 purred to action. It is smooth driving and has factory AC that is blowing cold. The rear suspension has air shocks for a smooth ride. The owner added a spray in bed-liner to protect that bed for utilitarian purposes. The owner also had a body shop replace rotted panels. This 1978 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista has been maintained very well mechanically, and refurbished on the exterior. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1993 Z28 Camaro (Indianapolis 500 Pace car edition! The fourth generation of the Camaro was produced by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet for the 1993 through 2002 model years. It was introduced on an updated F-body platform, but would retain the same characteristic since the first-generations introduction back in 1967; 2-doors, 2+2 seating, coupe (with optional T-top roof) or convertible body styles, rear-wheel drive, and a choice of pushrod V6 and V8 power plants. The Camaro was refreshed and revised in 1998 with both exterior and engine changes. The fourth-generation of the Camaro would continue production up to the 2002 model year when General Motors discontinued production due to slow sales, a deteriorated sports coupé market, and plant overcapacity. The production was moved from GMs Van Nuys, California assembly plant to Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada from November 1992. The new design incorporated sheet moulding compound (SMC) made from chopped fiberglass and polyester resin for the roof, hatch, doors, and spoiler.[8] Both the front and rear suspension design was improved over its predecessor. The base models were powered by a 160 hp (119 kW) 3.4 L pushrod V6 engine equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The 4-speed 4L60 automatic transmission was optional. All models came with a red Chevrolet Bowtie on the grille. 1993 was the only year interior instruments had yellow lettering (this is one way to tell the 1993 models from the 1994 which had white interior instrument lettering). (Z28 Models) The high performance Z28 model came with rectangular dual exhaust tips to distinguish it from the base models. The Z28 featured the 5.7 L pushrod LT1 V8 engine having a power output of 275 hp (205 kW) and 325 lb?ft (441 N?m) of torque that had been introduced on the Corvette one year earlier. The V8 engine came standard with a 4L60 automatic transmission, although the Borg-Warner T56 six-speed manual transmission was a no cost option. In 1993, the Camaro Z28 was selected as the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500. A special pace car edition trim was introduced in the same year and featured Indy 500 lettering on black and white body color scheme with multicolored pinstriping and white painted wheels. 633 units were made Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of real General Motors Company Muscle Car history in our Denver Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a bad to the bone 2005 Exile Chopper. This is an old school style chopper which is bare bones and has everything you need and nothing you dont. It is a hard tail frame which mounts up to a chunk front end with a tasteful rake. Both front and rear youll find chrome wire wheels with chunky tires on each. Keeping with the old school look, the tins are minimal. The tank is peanut shaped and mounted high on the backbone. The rear fender is nice and short like a bobber should be and sports the same paint scheme as the tank. The majority of the bike is jet black, but the white and red on the tins provides some contrast. The heart and soul of this beast is the massive 124 CI S&S V-Twin. This bad boy has a nice lope at idle and a ton of torque. Just a simply twist of the throttle will rocket you forward with authority. This bike is not for the faint of heart. A nice addition to this bike is the 6 speed transmission. This extra gear lets you get out on the highway and cruise which ease rather than turning high RPMs. The feet forward riding position is comfortable and the bike handles quite well. If youre looking for a stripped down old school chopper, this is a great choice. You can see this 2005 Exile Chopper in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1927 Essex Rat Rod. Originally, rat rods were a counter-reaction to the high-priced customs and typical hot rods, many of which were seldom driven and served only a decorative purpose. The rat rods inception signified a throwback to the hot rods of the earlier days of hot-rod culture—built according to the owners abilities and with the intention of being driven. Rat rods are meant to loosely imitate, in both form and function, the traditional hot rods of the era. This 1927 Essex Rat Rod is no exception. Built to perform and not for looks, this car does its job. Being powered by a 350 CI V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic, this car is all go and no show. The rusted out look of the outside just gives this Rat Rod an extra quality that most hot rods dont have. There arent a lot of amenities in a Rat Rod, but what they lack in options they make up in pure awesomeness. Options on this 1927 Essex Rat Rod include: Steel wheels w/Radial Tires. This 1927 Essex Rat Rod is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this beautiful 1938 Packard 1605 Super Eight Convertible Sedan From the very beginning, the Packard name stood for luxury and quality and became one of the top brands in the US. Steeply based in tradition. Packard espoused reliability and effortless operation in their machinery, and that philosophy reached its apex in the 1930s. Packards were adorned with some of the most handsome bodywork available anywhere. This 1938 Packard 1605 Super Eight convertible sedan represents the pinnacle of Packard design, placing a sporting yet practical convertible sedan body on a mammoth 139-inch wheelbase. The result is an imposing, elegant car which, when the top is down, has the dashing profile of a convertible. Roll-up windows and a surprisingly large trunk make it an ideal touring partner, and received a top-flight restoration in 2011 . The Dark Blue bodywork truly stands out and looks quite spectacular. It has always been a complete, well-cared-for machine that was finally given a comprehensive rebuild in anticipation of enjoying its impressive road manners. Fit and finish are what you would expect of Packard’s finest, with doors that close with just gentle pressure ,a hood that fits snugly, and paint that remains shiny and bright .Yes, there are a few signs of use here and there, but the overall presentation is extremely impressive. Chrome and other brightwork including the grille louvers, massive bumpers, and beautiful details throughout. Of note, the hood grilles remain excellent and, of course, the famous Packard Cormorant hood ornament exhibits crisp details. The interior offers sumptuous dark blue leather that’s the ideal match to the dark blue bodywork. Still in outstanding condition, it shows only very minor signs of use. Matching door panels and refinished wood garnish moldings add to the upscale elegance, and all the door hardware is correct. The gauges offer interesting pointers that seem to float in the center of the dial. In back, there’s enough room for three to stretch out in luxurious comfort, with high-quality carpets, a foot rest. The top stows neatly in the surprisingly small compartment behind the seat, where it’s hidden under a matching boot. All Super 8s featured the legendary 320 cubic inch straight-eight which was rated at 130 horsepower. But the real story is torque, and this car moves so effortlessly you might think there’s an electric motor under the hood. The engine bay is accurately detailed. Packard added an independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes in 1937, making these late-30s Packards some of the most highly-sought tour vehicles due to their comfort. This is unquestionably a first-rate Full Classic .This is a no-excuses Packard that more than lives up to lofty expectations. This 1938 Packard 1605 is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to announce this outstanding 1948 Ford Deluxe Convertible for sale in our Scottsdale Showroom. This high-end, complete rebuild has had some very respectable hands involved in its restoration, utilizing an array of top-notch components and it shows! This build began with a 1948 Ford Deluxe V-8 Convertible beautifully restored to its original condition with burgundy paint and a tan top. A photo album details the build step-by-step, highlighting each stage. Kugel Komponents provided their expertise by customizing the chassis to handle the torque of a supercharged engine and fabricating a state-of-the-art independent suspension with calibrated coil-over shocks front and rear. Mitech Racing Engines bored and stroked a Ford Windsor engine out to 393 Cubic inches. Topped by a BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carbs, this engine produced 520 HP and 468 ft./lbs. of torque when dynod. A Ford C4 transmission has been called upon to put this immense power to the pavement. The removable Carson top and windshield chop are the work of Gene Winfield. The fenders were sculpted to the body, the final preparations made and Candy Brandywine paint was applied by Hot Rods by Boyd Coddington. This was one of the very last cars to come out of his shop in La Habra, CA. Bills Auto Upholstery in Brea, CA provided the luxurious all-leather camel interior with heated power seats. Many modifications were performed, some of which include: Installation of a 3.90:1 Posi Independent Rear End, 20-gallon Rock Valley stainless steel fuel tank, rack and pinion power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes w/electric vacuum pump, power windows, A/C, custom-made Dougs Headers, Blaupunkt Satellite Stereo System, Appleton spotlights on drivers & Passenger sides and the list is almost endless! Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. This one has been fully restored using NOS sheet metal and was given the 442 & W30 appearance. The 455 was professionally rebuilt by AMT Performance Engines and is making much more power than any W-30 that left the factory. Horsepower is rated over 400 and has boat loads of torque. All this power is useless unless you have a stout transmission, rear end and axles. Transferring this power-house is a beefed up TH-400 and back to a custom 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears, Posi-traction and high tensile strength axles. The shortened rear allows for beefy 275/60R15 radial rubber. The suspension consists of high performance Hotchkis and Koni. A lot of builds like this usually forget about the brakes. Thats not the case with this one! Power four wheel Wilwood disc brakes make slowing things down a breeze. Equipment for this cool convertible include Power windows, Power brakes, Power steering, Power top with glass rear window, Air conditioning, Tilt steering column, custom leather seats and seat belts. This beautiful Oldsmobile has been with the same 3rd owner for the last 18 years. It’s obvious that this one has been very well taken care of over the years. The blue metallic paint looks very fresh even though it was sprayed in 2010. The white accent stripes compliment the white top and interior very well. Finishing the look is a set of Centerline aluminum wheels wrapped in radial rubber for that classic muscle car look. For more information on this 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com
