Description:

Our Nashville showroom digitally showcases this incredible 1971 Ford Mustang MACH 1. Now if you where shopping at a Ford dealership in 1971 the choices in engine sizes for the Mustang ranged from the classic 302 CID to insane 429 CID. Now if 429 Cubic inches were not enough, this engine came in two choices, Cobra Jet or Super Cobra jet. The latter would only come with the “Drag pak that also had a very unfriendly rear ring and pinion even with gas running about .22 cents for 9/10th of a gallon. With Three dog night, Led Zeppelin and Tom Jones on the air waves pouring through the single speaker in the middle of the dash and the war in south east Asia on everybodys mind, someone laid down the cash and drove this stunning car off the lot. I could (and will) tell you about how nice the paint is but lets face it, what is under the hood of this car is what is on your mind. 429 cubic inches is a lot of engine to stuff between the shock perches of a 1971 MACH 1 for sale, but they did it and it fills the engine bay to the brim. This numbers matching (as stated by the owner) 71 MACH 1 comes complete with the factory big block and C6 3 speed automatic transmission. Kevin Marti reports that only 177 of these beauties were ever made like this making this a very special car. This car was factory painted white but in 1985 someone laid down a slick red paint job that includes black stripes. A matching interior was added, and a star is born. This car deserves a special place in a special collection. Options for this 1971 Mustang MACH 1 include: Air condition, AM/FM Radio, Cruise control, Power steering and brakes, Seat belts, Posi traction and Radial tires on Rally rims. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Dallas is showcasing a 1955 Imperial Newport! The Chrysler Imperial, introduced in 1926, was Chryslers top-of-the-line vehicle for much of its history. Models were produced with the Chrysler name until 1954, and again from 1990 to 1993. The company positioned the cars as a prestige marque to rival Cadillac, Continental, Lincoln, Duesenberg, Pierce-Arrow, Cord, and Packard. The adjective Imperial according to Websters Dictionary means sovereign, supreme, superior or of unusual size or excellence. The word Imperial thus justly befits Chryslers highest-priced model. Exterior With the exterior bathed in green and white, and overall still holds its shine. Chrome and trim are very good with little to no corroding or dimpling, and overall shiny. This holds true for the bumpers bezels, and rear high mounted taillights. Badging is slightly worn in the color areas, and bumper on the rear shows some corrosion and staining at the point where the exhaust comes through it. Big steel panels are straight, and a wide trim spear with a rear quarter swoop is noted on both sides in good condition. 15-inch chrome wire wheels with faux spinners in the centers are mounted within wide whites all around. Interior A swing of the massive doors and we are swimming in a sea of tuck and roll, piping, and smooth white leather. The front split-bench is mounted in a large metal base that provides power back and forth for the driver. If the rear bench was not in this car it would be in my living room serving as my coach, it is that plush, and it has a pullout area rest. I also need to mention the door panels with their white uppers in wide vertical embossed stripes, and the lowers are a deep green with a metal thread pattern that drips 1955. Seen also are power window toggles within the door pull. Keeping in tune with the motif, the dash is a two-tone green and white, drivers side in green with an instrument cluster of 2 circles. The bezels show slight corrosion but are indeed original. The dash is beautifully sculpted in a curved form and has a large radio speaker, a clock and Imperial in your grandmothers handwriting badge. A white headliner above nice and tight and deep green carpet below, and we are in 1955 luxury. Drivetrain A raise of the hood and we are greeted with the original 331ci Hemi engine topped with a 4-barrel carburetor. On the back is a 2-speed automatic Powerflite transmission which throws power back to 3.54 rear gears. Drive-Ability Just sitting inside this car we are in the lap of luxury and comfort. It started right up, idled smoothly, and took off with lots of Hemi 4-barrel power. Its a cruiser and provides a smooth ride. Cornering is good, and all appears to be working on the mechanical front. Topping the R-M 565 is a fully blueprinted and tuned 1200 CFM Dominator carb thats fed by a MagnaFuel 500 electric fuel pump, which ensures plenty of fuel delivery to this fire-breathing monster. An MSD racing ignition system provides the enhanced spark needed to get things lit off and keep the massive spark delivery thats needed to the plugs. A custom set of ceramic-coated Lemons headers scavenge the exhaust gases. The rear end is a built Ford 9-inch spool rear end with hardened 31-spline axles and 4.30:1 gears, ensuring a reliable, hard launch and plenty of top end capability. Keeping the enormous mill cooled is a massive aluminum radiator, CSR aluminum electric water pump, and Flex-O-Lite radiator fan. At the end, the chute will assist the Wilwood disc brakes (at all 4 corners) haul you down to a safe turn-off speed. Theres no doubt youll appreciate the extended wheelie bars out back, because without them, youd be skidding down the track on the roof of this car after about 50 yards. The ultra-lightweight Billet Specialties Comp Series wheels up front have a set of M/T ET 26.0/4.5-15 drag race skinnies on them, and the rears are competition Centerline Racing wheels with some massive 31/10.5-15W M/T drag slicks that only have a few passes on them. Inside, the driver will notice (and appreciate) the well-equipped gauge pack, with twin fuel gauges and a nitrous gauge under the cowl hood; plus oil pressure, water and trans temp, voltmeter, and giant 10,000 AutoMeter tach (with memory) in the center of the cockpit are all angled perfectly for the driver. The drivers Kirkey racing seat is outfitted with a G-Force Pro Series racing harness, which will keep things well-buckled in during those very quick runs down the track. Of course, to support the 600HP nitrous fogger system, you will need a giant nitrous bottle, which youll have along as your passenger...much more fun than having 2 seats! If you want a true turn-key (push-button?!) racer that has been extremely well thought out and is ready to win races, this is the car for you. Available as a bill-of-sale only (no title/not street legal) race car, this is what you want to buy now, and take it to your first racetrack winning experience! Description:

This 1949 International KB-1 Woodie has lovingly cared for all its life, as shown. This truck is in good condition, the seller noting several prior, partial restorations including a 70s wood refinishing/engine rebuild as well as a later respray and OEM style interior re-trimming. Restored by the familys youngest son sometime in the 70s, the wood still looks to be in quite a nice condition. The wood-rib supported canvas top was also restored at this time but has since been replaced again. Paint and bodywork look decent but with a definite yet very pleasant and appropriate patina. Inside, upholstery has been redone but stays faithful to the factory original style. Other shots show the metal dash and minimal instrumentation. Extensive single-family history from 1950-2017 is always a treat, and though sentimentality usually plays some role in pricing on these types of vehicles, this models extreme scarcity makes accurate valuation difficult. we think it has plenty more years of family camping trips left in it. The KB-1 woodie was a station wagon version of Internationals KB-1 truck series which was further based on the KB series trucks originally introduced in 1940. The last KB-1 truck or wagon was built in 1949 and then International moved forward with its “L series trucks. No more woodies after 1949. The history of this wagon states that it was in one family from 1950-2017, the original owners son restored this KB-1 in 1970. the woodwork is stellar, even if it has been half a century since it was refinished. Likewise, with the steel body other than a dent in the rear right fender, it is very straight and rot free. The finish is a respray in the original shade and has a typical for finishes of the time, a soft sheen to it. The chrome trim, which appears to be all present, still has a luster and the grille is straight, not always the case with a vehicle of this era that has liked to lead with its chin. Rounding out the exterior is the canvas roof, it too was replaced in 70 and shows no sign of exposure. With all of this restoration work performed 50 years ago, this International has obviously been well stored. Under the hood isis a 214 CI, in-line, flathead, six-cylinder engine that develops 82.9 HP. The seller claims that the engine was rebuilt when the exterior was restored. A three-speed manual transmission completes the powertrain. The interior is spartan, exactly what you would expect. The seats have been recovered in original style upholstery material (vinyl or Naugahyde) and the floor mat looks very presentable still. The door cards are actually door wood and are showing some signs of wear but all in all, they look pretty stout. Unlike many vehicles of this era, the instrument panel, owing to its truck origins, is minimalist in design - strictly business. The most spectacular part of the interior, however, is this headliner - which is really the roof. It is a carpenters work of art and I cannot imagine how much time it must have taken to construct. It is simply beautiful. When it comes to woodies this one is a bit more unique than the Fords, Pontiacs, Buicks, and Chryslers that we have stumbled across - its not a brand one would immediately associate with a wood-clad station wagon and perhaps that is due to its truck platform origins. this International KB-1 will go fast as they dont turn up for sale too often. This is a great looking station wagon! For more information on this KB-1, call: 817-310-9400 or stop by our Dallas showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit Gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is a built up 1964 Dodge 330 that packs a punch! Only around 600 miles on a rebuilt 426 Hemi with a cross ram intake that sounds very healthy with the turn of a key. Behind this iconic engine is a 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission that was rebuilt at the same time as the engine and shifts crisply between gears. The red paint is in good shape and pairs well with the black vinyl interior. As soon as you fire up the 426, you will realize quickly that this 330 means business. The thump that expels from the tailpipe hits you in the chest at idle. The ride is comfortable and feels very streetable while cruising but turns into a whole different animal as you start to lay into the throttle. This Dodge turns heads no matter where it goes and is an excellent option for someone who is looking for a classic car that will stand out from the crowd at the car show or race track. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Dodge 330 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3100 for sale. These step side pickups are a hot commodity and people cant get their hands on them quick enough. This Chevy features a 350 CID V8 that was rebuilt along with the 700R4 transmission roughly 2500 miles ago. Looking under the hood youll fund many fresh updates to include an aluminum radiator, functioning A/C, electric fan, power steering, power brakes, coated headers, and new hoses. Heading toward the rear, youll find a 10-bolt rear end featuring 3.08 gearing. The fuel tank also seems to be a recent install as well. With good performance, you of course want the truck to look the part as well. With that, the truck has been coated in a nice black paint. All the chrome trimming, bumpers, and badging shows nicely as well. The bed is also finished with chrome railing and fuel access in the center. The interior is one that truly makes this truck pop. A fully custom cowhide interior gives this truck that WOW factor. The brown and white cow hide is outlined by a nice brown leather with custom diamond stitching. The scheme flows from the door panels, to the bench seat all the way up to the headliner and visors. Hop in, grasp the riveted wood steering wheel, and take a cruise down to your local car show. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is pleased to offer for sale this gorgeous deep sapphire blue 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. This car gleams like a jewel in the sun, with the sapphire blue sparkling, and the contrasting white Z28 style stripes jumping out at you. The 1968 Camaro retains the body styling and clean look of the 1967, sans the vent wing windows, as a result of Chevrolets introduction of Astro Ventilation for 1968. Under the cowl hood of this Camaro lurks a potent 350 CID V8, topped by a 4BBL carb and aluminum intake. Headers improve exhaust scavenging, and the dual exhaust sounds great. HEI ignition has been added to improve spark delivery and enhance combustion. The chrome air filter element housing and valve cover gaskets add some dress-up, and the addition of air conditioning makes this a true year round driver candidate. Out behind the throaty 350 is a 3-speed TH350 automatic transmission, which sends the power to the 10-bolt rear end. The addition of front disc brakes, with their cross-drilled and slotted front rotors, helps improve the stopping capability considerably vs. the all drum Camaros. Wheel hop during hard launches is nearly eliminated by the addition of slapper bars out back, and a beefy stabilizer bar has been added to reduce axle swing during cornering. This car rides on a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires (P225/60R15 up front, P255/60R15 out back), which are mounted on traditional rallye wheels, with their chrome beauty rings; which combine to add to the vintage look of this 1968 Camaro. Inside, youll note that the optional gauge package provides another level of vintage authenticity, with the staggered sawtooth gauges in the console, plus the tick-tock-tach configuration of tach and clock in the same nacelle to the right of the speedometer. The staple shifter (sometimes also referred to as his and hers) lever finishes off the traditional look. The black carpet is in good condition, and the black synthetic leather seating and trim are all in good condition, with nary a serious blemish. The vintage large diameter/thin rim steering wheel looks just right. One addition that you may not have expected, but will certainly appreciate, is the addition of a 3-point seat belt system for the front seat occupants. A Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette head unit provides the tunes. Additional features and options on this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro for sale include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Description:

Honey, Hush!Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to offer this REAL, Y84 Special Edition 1979 Pontiac Trans Am! Yes, you are looking at a genuine, Pontiac Historic Services documented Bandit Trans Am. Its safe to say most car folks remember how, back in the summer of 1977, Pontiacs Trans Am was catapulted into stardom (and over a river) in the movie Smokey and the Bandit, with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, Sally Field, Jackie Gleason, and several other celebrities. They tore up the roads (and several cars) and gave Sherriff Buford T. Justice of Texas a run for his money across several states. Two more Smokey & the Bandit movies followed, in 1980 and 1983. This is a 16 option car, equipped with T-Tops, V8 6.6 Liter 4Bbl. 403, 3 speed automatic, air conditioning, soft ray glass, power steering & brakes, power windows, tilt wheel, rear defrost, and custom trim velour camel interior. The exterior finish has a nice deep shine and looks quite good. The air conditioning system is still there, but would require service. The camel color hobnail velour interior looks good and has had some restoration. It could be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level. The factory Fisher T-tops (part of the SE package) fit and latch well. As a note, the Fisher T-Tops are superior to the aftermarket ones in fit, ease of use and rigidity. The original storage pouches are included. The 403 fires up easily and runs well, and benefits from a newer, full dual exhaust system- which allows it to breathe easier. Pontiac fans know Pontiac stopped making its 400s back in 77 and began running out by early 1979. They reserved the remaining ones for 4-speed only cars, for the 1979 run. The 403 Oldsmobile-produced V8 filled the void for non 4-speed cars like this one. Theres plenty of power, cool sound, and those iconic looks to enjoy! Get ready for the compliments. It is getting harder and harder to find good examples of these cars. This one survived the demise of many and is still largely correct. We are offering it well below a #1 value, meaning one could buy it and still have plenty of room to improve it as desired. These are a piece of American History- and with the closure of Pontiac, they are becoming more desirable... still leading Z28s from the period in value. These Trans Ams are a lot of fun to drive and get a lot of attention. And clearly, have proven to be a good investment over the years when you consider the $8343.81 original price! Recent service includes new front springs, oil & filter, new gaskets for oil pan, valve covers, and transmission pan. This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am SE is located at the Fort Lauderdale showroom. Feel free to contact the sales team at 1-954-227-4202, or by email at fortlauderdale@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is pleased to present an incredible 1941 Chevrolet Pickup Truck! The 1941 Chevrolet pickup brought to the General Motors light-truck lineup a new sense of strength in design and engineering. Knowing their products might soon be rolling into World War II probably encouraged truck makers to design stronger, more versatile new models for the early 1940s. The 1941 truck design was related to the passenger cars, but by no means identical and far removed from the very car-like 1941 Chevrolet Series AG sedan delivery and coupe pickups. Pickups came in 1/2- and 3/4-ton versions, the latter on a longer 125-inch wheelbase. Boxes were heavy-gauge steel with a durable wooden floor, reinforced and protected with steel skid strips. Our terrific Blue with black fenders and running boards looks much better than anything that rolled out of the factory in 1941! In fact, this truck is so nice that you can even include every year since 1941! Once inside, you will feel like you are taken back to 1941! An excellent running six cylinder engine backed by a three-speed manual transmission, on the floor, is more than capable to mauver this classic ride down the road! No modern restomod, here, with a bunch of bells and whistles, just the necessary functions to get you from point A to point B in an efficient manner. If you want the experience of buying and driving a new pickup from 1941, this is as close to going back in time as you can get it - but, with a better paint job!! To get the ball rolling and make this classic yours, call your friends in the classic car business in Kansas City at Gateway Classic Cars. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. cst. Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City, 1202 South lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061.
