Description:

Up for sale in our Atlanta showroom is this 1-owner 1966 Ford Cobra replica. This Ford Cobra replica rolling chassis was produced by Evorett Morrison and has the classic Shelby look! These cobra replicas are very popular due to the extreme thrill it is to drive one of these cars based on the V-8 engines installed in these light weight chassis. The consignor states he built the car for himself - and based on what he installed - you can tell he had a purpose -to have a strong running - dependable rocket w/ A/C. He started the process in 2009, and had his 460 V8 blue-printed, and machined - added Ford Motorsport Cobra aluminum heads, that were ported and polished, Ford Motorsport ¾ cam, fuel injection added, dyno tested @550-hp, mated to a Mat Carr AOD transmission rated at 850-hp, and a rebuilt Ford 9 posi-traction rear end, w/ 3:55 gears. We did mention he built her to drive - didnt we? She is painted in a metallic red, w/ gold stripes, and matching wheel inserts - he also wanted her to stand out, and she does! This Cobra replica sure shows well, and she also shows some minor patina. Its loud and fast, and ready to roar! This example is showing 320-miles on the odometer - as the consignor stated the original had gone bad around 3,000-miles prior. Options on this Ford include; automatic transmission, leather seats, powder coated side pipe exhaust, seat belts, optional convertible top, alloy wheels w/ spinners, Firestone FireHawk SZ50 P245/45ZR17, P285/40ZR17 radial tires. This Cobra replica is ready for the next care giver, open road, and that rumble of a race car and the power under the hood that can set you back in an instant. Its already a favorite in our showroom and wont last long. Come check it out for yourself. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1966 Cobra replica, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger! This beast is powered by a 340 CID V8 6-pack that was rebuilt 4800 miles ago. The 3-speed 904 TorqueFlight transmission was rebuilt even more recently than the engine, covering only about 1000 miles since being done. The 8:34 rear end features 3:23 gears and has also been rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. The exterior is finished in a stunning blue code PB3 paint which brings out the amazing body lines of this classic Mopar machine. The car has received an entirely new A/C and heating system from vintage air. All new March Performance Serpentine drive kit, new MSD ignition system, new radio, new Dakota digital dash, new digital tail lights, new disc brakes in the front, new dash pad. The car has been very well cared for and it’s very obvious when you look around the car. It was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels and were intended to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chryslers inventory. The performance model was the R/T (Road/Track), with a 383 cu in (6.28 L) Magnum V8, rated at 335 bhp; 300 bhp for 1971, due to a drop-in compression. The standard transmission was a 3-speed manual. Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi. The R/T was available in either the hardtop or convertible. The Challenger R/T came with a Rallye instrument cluster that included a 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000 rpm tachometer, 1972–1974 tachometer went to 7,000 rpm and an oil pressure gauge. In 1972, the R/T badging was dropped and these models were called Rallye, although they were never badged as such. The Rallye model featured a faux brake vent on the fenders. The shaker hood scoop was not available after 1971. The same year this car rolled off the assembly line the worlds first jumbo-jet, the Boeing 747, has its first commercial flight on January 22nd of 1970. For more information on this Challenger located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr Suite 200, Houston, TX 77090. You can also contact the showroom at (832)234-6220, or email the showroom at Houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

The 1969 Camaro marked the last of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. It featured entirely new, more aggressive looking sheet metal and revised grille. Going away was the coke bottle shape, making room for a flatter, wider looking stance. The Camaro was available in many different configurations, from a standard Sport Coupe, a rubber melting Super Sport, or a track-ready Z/28. The SS was The One with a Name Like the Hiss of a Snake. Big power, special 3-speed transmission, sport striping, heavy insulated hood. Hiding under the stock SS hood on this Hugger Orange beauty is a beast of a V8! Where a salty 350 once sat now resides a NEW 434 cubic inch Nye’s racing engine that starts out with a Dart little M block with all forged internals, solid roller comp cam #12-990-9. Topping off the power house is a set of AFR eliminator 220 cylinder heads that help bump the compression ratio to 13.1:1. Providing the spark needed is a DUI distributor that has been built specifically for this engine setup. Only 700 miles have been put on this engine so it has tons of life left and is just starting to come to life! No expense was spared on any aspect of the restoration of this car! Transferring the power to the rear of the car is the same 3-speed automatic that came in the car from the factory but the only part that hasn’t been upgraded is the exterior case of the transmission. The body and paint are excellent with an impressive panel fit. Making it truly a car that needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The black interior was definitely not overlooked during the restoration. When you are lucky enough sit behind the steering wheel you will notice the factory console gauges have been replaced with upgraded aftermarket gauges. The main reason for the upgrade is to have better accuracy while monitoring the vitals of the car. Helping get the power to the ground is the 12 bolt rear-end that houses a set of 4.10 gears. At all four corners there are Ralley wheels with new trim rings wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires. And last but not least this car comes with ALL of the original parts that have been upgraded or replaced during the restoration. This includes but is not limited to the numbers matching 350 V8, Air Conditioning setup, power steering as well as the 3.31 gears that were replaced wit the 4.10s. You can view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. his 1955 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Thunderbird was Henry Fords response to the Chevrolet Corvette, and was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. No one could have predicted the success the Thunderbird would have. The Thunderbirds first year of production literally outsold the Corvette more than 23 to 1. Though it was sleek and sporty, the Thunderbird was not considered a sports car to Ford, but a personal luxury vehicle. This example is one of the cleanest I have seen. The paint on the car is slick and clean with the chrome trim being polished to a high luster. The wire wheels with the wide white wall tires. Under the hood is the original 292 Y block that runs extremely well. The 3-speed manual transmission is not something you often see in these making for a nice surprise. Hit the button on the power seat and get comfortable after all that was what these baby birds were all about. With the original removable hardtop restored it the same condition this is a bird that will turn heads no matter what from it’s in. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1936 Ford 5 Window coupe. This isnt your traditional 36 and may be mistaken for a 37. One of the most notable features is the transformation from a rumble seat into an operable trunk lid. You would be hard pressed to find another 36 5 window with this custom treatment. The eye catching blue paint is a one year only 2002 Volkswagen Aquarius Blue. It certainly looks period correct but with a little pop. The restoration is top notch thanks to a seasoned car builder and a solid body. This 36 is still using all of its original sheet metal! The top was filled, the trunk was heavily modified by removing the rumble seat and precise cutting to create a trunk, custom headlights, tail lights, bumpers and firewall. Underneath is just as impressive and features a Mustang II designed front suspension with upper and lower control arms with power rack and pinion steering. Power front disc and rear drums make for easy braking. The polished stainless steel 18-gallon fuel tank looks beautiful. Power comes from a mild 1970 350 small block Chevy and sends the power through a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to an open rear diff with 2.75:1 gears. The build has just over 6,000 miles and is sure to impress. Inside is a Tea C bench seat, Dolphin Gauges, tilt steering column and A/C controls. The front windshield still tilts outward and the rear window also rolls down. For more information on this custom 1936 Ford 5 window, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. Description:

This 1973 AMC Javelin is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This 1973 Javelin is unlike any other one on the road. With its apocalyptic theme and Trans Am racer styling this has to be one of the coolest you have seen. The front of the Javelin was treated to a handmade front spoiler which is where the theme starts. Followed onto the front grill with the original parking lights mounted on both sides while the modern LED lights were fitted into the original headlight bezels. The orange satin color is courtesy of a 3M wrap which is a lot more durable than any paint job. The grey stripes over the hood compliment the metal work with AMC and LSX imprinted in them. The rear of the car has been treated to a wide body kit allowing for the monster 335 tires to be placed under the fenders. The rear has been blacked out with the spoiler giving the rear end that trans am racer look. Pop the hood and all you see is custom metal work. From the engine cover to the firewall they nailed the apocalyptic theme. The LS3 engine that lies underneath that metalwork has been outfitted with a cam while a custom tune gets the most out of this small block. Mated up to a T56 6 speed with an ACT twin disc clutch making it extremely durable while having a great pedal feel. The custom 9 inch rear end has been stuffed Nitro gear and Axle shafts giving you confidence when you want to drop the clutch and lay down some fresh black stripes. Bringing everything to screeching holt is a Wilwood big brake kit with a set of 6 piston calipers upfront and a 4 piston in the rear this is one Javelin that will stop on a dime. The suspension on the car with adjustability in mind and thanks to QA1 coil over front and rear the possibilities are endless. Inside the theme is continued with the rear of the car blocked off by the same metal work while the kicker speakers are loud enough to overcome the exhaust note from that nasty LS3. The gauges go perfectly with the interior complimenting the build nicely. The roll cage not only looks great but adds that extra layer of protection with the harnesses keeping you in the seat in case the unfortunate happens. If you have wanted a car that looks like no other with true modern-day comforts and jaw dropping performance this 73 Javelin is the perfect match. This car was part of SEMA Battle of Builders 2016,Hotrod magazine 2016, Holley LS Fest 2017,Power Tour 2016 and 2017 which proves this monster is ready for the road. Options on this 1973 AMC Javelin include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Racing Harness, and Radial Tires mounted on Fuel Alloy Wheels. Description:

For sale at our Nashville showroom is a 1958 Edsel Ranger. This is one mean street machine! From the moment that you start that 557 V8 and hear it roar, you know that is a special car. This car holds the distinguished title of the worlds fastest Edsel. The large displacement V8 is topped by a Dyers blower that is being fed fuel by a two EFI TBI injection system that helps make big power and increase drivability. This 1958 Edsel Ranger sports ceramic coated headers that look great and help keep temps down in the engine bay Backing this powerplant is the venerable C6 automatic transmission which features a TCI ratchet shifter that allows you to manually shift this automatic trans. Transfering all this power to the ground the is an ever popular 9 Ford rear end that can handle the job with ease. With the engine open for all to see, this Edsel really makes a statement! This 1958 Edsel for sale manages to look classy with its deep black and pure white paint and gleaming chrome trim. The black and white interior of this Edsel for sale continues this strange duplicity with beautiful cloth and vinyl seats that look fancy and high class yet are comfortable and functional. It even has the rear bench seat to match that in the front. With fully functional lights and turn signals this Edsel is ready to hit the road in the next power tour or cruise around town on a Friday night. However, as you look around, you will notice the switches and the roll cage and the racing harness seat belts that dont usually appear in your typical laid-back Sunday cruiser. These little touches remind you that this Edsel Ranger for sale wants nothing more than to scare all the Prius owner at the local Dairy Queen when you take the kids out for Ice Cream. Oh yea, and as fast as this car is, the Ice cream wont have time to melt on the way home. Streetable power and unique design are the name of the game here! Options on this 1958 Edsel Ranger for sale include: custom wheels, performance tires, headlights, gauges, tilt wheel, aluminum wheels that are wrapped in radial tires, turn signals, and courtesy lights. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. Description:

Well do we have a treat for you in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom; 40th Anniversary Corvette Convertible with ONLY 40 ORIGINAL MILES!!!. This is Likely the most pristine example that exists in the country. Why you may ask. Well this 1993 Chevrolet Corvette 40th Anniversary is actually still a Brand New car. No, really. It has 40 actual miles and 1 owner. Now lets take a look at this triple Ruby Red beauty. All 40th anniversary models were Ruby Red with Ruby Red interior and the convertibles like this one had Ruby Red tops as well. From what we can tell this is one of 498 Ruby 6 speed convertibles built, even fewer with matching hardtop. This car in particular is still in the pre delivery condition. The car was never prepped for the floor. The cardboard still covers the floors like it did from the factory. The front lower valance wasnt even installed and is still in the back of the car. It is a truly incredible car and the perfect car for a collector or someone that loves C4 Corvettes and wants a brand new car. So along with the car there is all of the original paperwork, including the order documents. There is even more to this story, remember at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky had a huge sink hole that swallowed up a bunch of Corvettes? No this wasnt one of them, but it did replace one of them for a few years. This car has been at the Corvette Museum for a few years and there is paperwork to go along with it. So in short if you are looking for a brand new 1993 Corvette 40th Anniversary Corvette we have what you are looking for. The features include AC, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, AM/FM/CD player, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-theft System, Manual Convertible Top, Removable Hard Top, Cruise Control, Leather Upholstery, Power Door Locks, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Brakes, and Seat Belts. Description:

For sale in our Kansas City showroom is this 1965 Ford Cobra Replica! Everybody love a Cobra, and thanks to the latest Hollywood film Ford v. Ferrari we are seeing more and more come out of the woodwork. This beauty is a 2009 Hurricane Motorsports kit with a bored 390 V8 under the hood making for a 406 cid displacement. She runs well and sounds even better coming out of those chrome exhaust pipes. Walking around the car you see something different from most of these cars. It is shot in a wonderful Rangoon Red that shows nicely and shines incredibly well in the sun. The black vinyl interior is as expected in a Cobra and has very little wear and tear. Many of the aesthetics of this build are very correct for what the original Cobras were. Many will be taken aback by the reverse winding speedometer, but that is correct for the original Cobras. Many details throughout this car are documented and correct. There are many other features that have been upgraded to give a better feel that some of the original parts. If you talk to people who have owned or driven real 427 Cobras they are a handful. Having a build that has a powerful, but tamer engine makes for a much more enjoyable experience. The transmission is a TKO600 5 speed manual that shifts smooth and runs out great. Push back to the 9 inch Ford limited slip differential with 370 gears and you will be grinning mile after mile. There is a great build sheet on file to answer any other curiosities and this is a great build waiting for its new owner! For more information on this 1965 Ford Cobra Replica, contact our Kansas City showroom at (913) 815-1340 or KansasCity@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This 440-6 4 speed car benefits from a recent frame off restoration and looks fantastic. The restoration was very detailed and focused on correctness. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of restoration and have covered a modest 500 miles. Enough for proper break in, yet still very fresh. The engine is a warranty replacement from many years ago and the car is equipped with a correct Dana 60 rear end, appropriate for a 6 pack car equipped with a 4 speed. Options are slim but lets face it, its a high performance muscle car... who cares about options. Big block power and a four speed, yes and yes! The three 2 barrel carbs are dialed in nicely. The colors for this rare Mopar are original and perfect for nostalgia. Who else is tired of every car being repainted red? We must save the rare colors from the good days. Burnt Orange Metallic with a white Super Bee stripe over a Sunfire Orange vinyl interior and a set of body colored steel wheels wrapped in redline radials make this car stand out. Whoever specd out this car knew exactly what they were doing. Inside are bucket seats, a full array of gauges and a pistol grip shifter. With 390 horsepower and 490 lbs./ft. torque, this 1970 Super Bee is ready to go! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is excited to bring you this outstanding 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The Bonneville was Pontiacs most expensive and luxurious model throughout the 1960s and was instrumental in helping Pontiac place third in sales from 1962-1970. The Bonneville also had more powerful standard V-8 engines than other full-sized Pontiacs including the 389 cubic inch V8 with a Tri-Power (three two-barrel carburetor) that offered up to 376 hp found in this beautiful 1960 example. This powerful engine is mated to a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. There is only 85 actual miles since both motor and tranny have been rebuilt so this car is ready to cruise down the highway to any car show you are ready to hit. The car also has new braking system, new top, new interior, new tires, new suspension, and new led lighting system. The other cool feature I love about this car is the 8 lug wheels that Pontiac use to run which look amazing on this ride. This car has not only been maintained but has had serval new items added and improved. This car is so gorgeous its hard to believe she isnt in a Museum!
