Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a stunning 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Finished in jet black, this sleek machine defines British touring car luxury. This particular example is the hard top variant which features the 4.7 Liter V8. This naturally aspirated 8 cylinder lump produces 420 horsepower and 346 lb ft of torque. Couple this to an automatic transmission with paddle shifted manual mode and you have a beautiful touring car experience. This particular Aston has been extremely well kept and has tallied only 16,360 miles since new. Its difficult to describe the quality of a hand built British vehicle, but once one operates the unique Aston Martin door handles, it begins to make sense. Climb inside the cockpit, and quality surrounds you. The bucket seats are upholstered in high quality leather. The switchgear has a nice positive feedback and the gauges feature a unique design that looks like a fine timepiece face. Though the car is luxurious, it is still a high performance vehicle. The driving position is that of a sports car, and the transmission paddles give the feel of a race car. This is a car that comfortably wears two hats, that of a comfortable touring car, and that of a high performance sports coupe. You can see this beautiful 2010 Aston Martin Vantage in greater detail including 100+ photos and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This could potentially be the only Cougar like this one still in existence! Sold June 23rd, 1969 this triple black Cougar was purchased and adored for many years by what is believed to be only two owners. After the current owner purchased it 6 years ago, this classic Mercury underwent a complete restoration where the car was stripped down to the bare tub. Once taken down bolt by bolt, the car was professionally restored using correct parts and no expense was sparred throughout. The same 390 cubic inch big block V8 and C-6 Merc-O-Matic that came in only 102 Cougars that year was also taken apart and professionally rebuilt. Since this work was completed and the car was put back together, there has been only 464 miles put on this stunning Cougar! The Raven black paint that was a factory color in 1969 looks deep and is like looking in a mirror and pairs well with the completely black interior and black soft top. As you sit in the driver’s seat, and stare out over the gauges, you will be impressed at the overall condition and feel as if you are looking at this Cougar back on the showroom floor in 1969. The ride in this Cougar is just as impressive. Before the interior was reinstalled, the floor pans were lined in Dynamat to keep the road noise down. This Cougar is a piece of American automotive history and is an excellent option for someone who wants a very original classic with a MARTI report and the prominence that goes with it. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1969 Mercury Cougar in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to offer this one-off, custom 1968 Chevrolet C10 quad cab for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. As you can already see, this C10 is not your average restoration. The owner of this truck mated a 1968 C10 with a 68 Chevy Suburban to turn it into a 4-door truck. This truck shimmers in the light in its white exterior paintjob and features a black leather interior that GM fans will recognize with items such as the push start button and center console pulled from a 2013 Silverado truck. You will also recognize the GM wheels on this 1968 C10 for sale that really make this thing pop. It has also been converted to 4-wheel disc brakes. Under the hood of this awesome build is a reliable 4.8l Vortec V8 engine from the same 2013 Silverado that produced around 295hp from the factory. Headers, hi-flow cats and a custom exhaust probably improve this number and certainly make this 1968 C10 for sale sound better. The transmission backing the motor on this build is a rebuilt 4L60E 4-speed automatic with less than 1000 miles on it. Trucks are getting big in the classic car world and there is almost nothing out there that compares with a build like this! There are so many more details to discuss on this fantastic and unique 1968 Chevrolet C10 for sale, so why not give us a call on it today at (623) 900-4884. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1957 Ford Ranchero. This 1957 Ranchero for sale has been restored to near perfect condition. This Ranchero has under gone a complete frame off restoration were every tiny thing was cleaned, rebuilt, repaired, repainted and reinstalled. The current owner then had custom badges made for the car to rename it a Rodchero. As you open the front hinged hood of this classic beauty it becomes obvious that money never entered the mind of the guy who planned and then built this car. Sitting inside this decked out compartment is a 351 Cubic inch ford small block that is pushing approx. 390 horsepower. It is easy to see the muscle bulging, with a set of headers, and a Demon® 4-barrel carburetor and Mallory® unilite electronic distributor. Backing this Blue Oval power plant is a C6 3 speed automatic transmission that has a 3000-stall converter ready to help you shred some tires. Holding up the back in of this ’57 Ranchero for sale and dividing the power to the rear tires is the bullet proof 9-inch axle housing a 390:1 gear set. Now in my opinion the Ranchero is the best of both worlds (kind of like a mullet) car in the front and truck in the back. You get to have to comfort of a car and can still haul gravel, no, that’s not wise, wood, wait, nope, well with 390 Horsepower, you know what you can haul! All the trophy’s you will win at the cars shows. Options for this 1957 Ford Ranchero include: Air conditioning, Power steering and brakes, Tilt wheel, Leather interior and Alloy wheels. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this timeless 1932 Ford 4 Door Sedan. This hot rod is powered by a 350-cubic inch GM crate engine that produces 290 horsepower. The motor was purchased new during the cars rebuild in 2016 and currently has just over 1,500 trouble-free miles on it. The transmission, a GM 700R4, was professionally rebuilt at the same time and feeds power into the 3.42:1 geared rear end that was taken out of a Chevy S10. These pieces are assembled to unite as one on a brand-new powder coated frame. When you need to test the front Wilwood brakes it is all sure to stop quickly. Once the all steel body was striped to the bare metal, it got a fresh base coat of black, only to be glazed over by a smooth, shiny clear coat to finish it off. To almost perfectly contrast the deep, dark exterior, the interior is finished in a sinister-looking red vinyl. It really takes this classic, yet modest looking hot rod to a whole new level. If hearing the healthy Small Block Chevy didn’t do enough for you, the red-in-black color scheme would make the humblest of ladies go nuts if they saw it driving down the street. While the battery is tucked out of sight to keep aesthetics high, a set of remote charging ports were installed under the frame, should you need a quick jump. This timeless, yet rarely seen 4 Door Sedan is ready to cruise the strip or hit the local car shows. Options include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, CD, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Vinyl Interior. That same year Beatles release Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band in the US, goes on to spend 15 weeks at number one. Hop inside this Sunbeam Tiger and you’ll remember how great of a decade the sixties were. The Sunbeam Tiger is a high-performance V8 version of the British Rootes Groups Sunbeam Alpine roadster, designed in part by American car designer and racing driver Carroll Shelby and produced from 1964 until 1967. Shelby had carried out a similar V8 conversion on the AC Cobra, and hoped to be offered the contract to produce the Tiger at his facility in America. Rootes decided instead to contract the assembly work to Jensen at West Bromwich in England, and pay Shelby a royalty on every car produced. Two major versions of the Tiger were built: the Mark I (1964–67) was fitted with the 260 cu in (4.3 L) Ford V8; the Mark II, of which only 633 were built in the final year of Tiger production, was fitted with the larger Ford 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine. Rootes entered the Tiger in European rallies with some success, and for two years it was the American Hot Rod Associations national record holder over a quarter-mile drag strip. Production ended in 1967 soon after the Rootes Group was taken over by Chrysler, which did not have a suitable engine to replace the Ford V8. Owing to the ease and affordability of modifying the Tiger, there are few surviving cars in standard form. Description:

This beautiful one of a kind Tuxedo b lack 1955 Chevrolet Cameo is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The luxury truck market has really caught fire the past decade. Many believe that this is something new but it was something that GM had tried many decades ago. The Cameo was really the first truck that put styling and comfort before the utility of the vehicle. This Cameo was built with that in mind and the finish product will hopefully not be seen with a load of hay in the back anytime soon. The truck was a ground up build with attention detail being top ion the list. It was a rust-free CA truck to begin with making this the perfect candidate. The first thing you notice about this beauty is the paint. “Phantom Black Pearl as it is known as has a ton of flake in it giving the truck that sparkle look when the sun hits it. With all of the stainless steel polished to a bright luster this truck just screams 1950s. The all new tinted glass is just another one of those attention to details that most would overlook. Under the hood is a Chevy small block with ported and polished heads give this 55 a lot more power than its original 265. The vintage finned valve covers give under the hood a great look while the stainless-steel fasteners keep with the whole attention to detail. The ride quality comes courtesy of a Heidts mustang II style frontend with power assisted rack and pinion steering. Open the door and the interior of the truck is the perfect complement to the exterior. The leather bench seat has been molded in such a way that it feels like you are sitting in your own bucket. Each side has its own little pocket if you will, keeping you nice and planted. If you have been wanting something different but something mainstream this 55 Cameo is perfect. The 3100 Big Widows are extremely popular but this one has the Cameo factor making it extremely different. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Cameo include; AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels and Radial Tires. This gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Cameo can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1970 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA AAR for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda featured in Top Banana/Lemon Twist with black interior. He car is powered by the AAR 340CI/290HP V8 with triple 2-Barrel carburetors back by the optional automatic transmission. The car is one of 2,724 built of which 1,604 were ordered with the automatic. This car is in superb conditon in all respects and fully documented with factory build sheet and photos of components showing date code correct matching numbers. It is truly an investment-grade piece of American muscle car history. In 1970, Plymouth entered SCCA Trans-Am racing, contracting with Dan Gurneys All American Racers (AAR) to build and campaign cars to be driven by him and Swede Savage. At that time, SCCA homologation requirements dictated that a manufacturer build a minimum of 2,500 street versions in order to compete. The single-production-year AAR Cuda was special for that purpose, and 2,724 were built, all during a five-week period between March and April 1970.The street-version AAR had a 340cid V-8 topped by three 2-bbl Holley carburetors. The engine was underrated at 290 horsepower at 5,000 rpm. In addition to cylinder heads that were unique to this engine, the block had thicker main webs along with a forged crank and rods. Other special features included an aluminum intake manifold, larger brakes and a rear deck spoiler. A 4-speed manual transmission was standard, a HD 727 Torque Flight was optional. The car was equipped with a 3.55:1 rear axle ratio combined with Sure-Grip, and a 3.91:1 ratio as an option. The AAR suspension included special front and rear sway bars and heavy-duty shock absorbers. Heavy-duty rear leaf springs raised the rear end of the car to make room for the side-exiting exhaust and provided room for Goodyear G60X15 tires at the rear and E60X15 in the front, making the AAR Cuda the first American modern-day production vehicle to come with different-sized tires front to rear.A special textured flat-black finish was applied to the grille, hood, tops of the fenders and upper door edges and tail panel. The hood, proprietary to the AAR, was lightweight fiberglass, had a functional air scoop and contained hood pins holding it closed at the front. Despite lighter-weight hood springs, the hoods typically bowed within weeks of delivery. The exterior had a distinctive strobe stripe graphic running the length of the car ending at the rear with the red, white and blue AAR crest. The stripe itself comprises 75 individual segments of decreasing width. The AAR was priced at $3,966. (Historical information courtesy of Hagerty). This stunning AAR Cuda will be a valuable addition to either MoPar collectors, or to collectors of the unique and special muscle cars offered by all three American manufacturers in the golden age of unfettered high performance cars. This is one to show with pride.

Description:

There was a time when this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad would have been overlooked for its hardtop siblings, but that day is long gone. Today the Nomad is near the top of every Chevy fans wish list, and this gorgeous wagon gets a lot of things right: great colors, gorgeous interior, and a fully sorted LS1 drive train that offers more power and more comfort than you could get from the factory in 1956. Theres no denying the handsome good looks of this 2-door wagon the simple 56 is the best-looking of the Tri-Five Chevys. This one also carries upscale Bel Air trim (which was the only way you could get a Nomad) that includes that dramatic side spear and all the chrome has been refinished to show standards, so it truly sparkles in the sun. Cross-country haulers just dont get much better than this. The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing. Things like the dashboard, headliner, door panels and carpets are all nicely upgraded as well, the steering wheel is a wood-rimmed unit thats on a tilt column, and there are little vents tucked under the dash for the modern A/C system which blows ice cold. Theres also an AM/FM/AUX radio that sounds pretty darned good and the gauges have been converted to digital. The cargo bay is correctly finished and offers a good deal of storage space, making this a fantastic road trip candidate. The engine is still technically a small block Chevy V8, but the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 from Street and Performance is a far cry from the original 265. It obviously fits beautifully and thanks to fuel injection and hardware, its as reliable as your daily driver and quite a bit more powerful. The suspension uses OEM parts wherever possible to ensure reliability and easy service. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission is a big part of the reason this car is such a pleasure to drive and the recent dual exhaust system has a pleasant burble at idle and just enough of an edge on the roll to let you know this isnt a stock Nomad. The undercarriage is quite clean and includes 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Power brakes and 17-inch Chrome 5 Spoke wheels wearing 245/45/17 front and rear performance radials. With only 1450 Miles on this restored, it has been fully sorted and ready to enjoy, this car just works like it should. With great looks, a wonderful color combination, and that timeless Nomad appeal, this car delivers in a big way. For additional information on this 1956 Nomad, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing. Description:

For sale in our Nashville Tn showroom is a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette! For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. A few suspension refinements were made. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Although transmission options remained ostensibly the same for 1964, the two Borg-Warner T-10 four-speeds gave way to a similar pair of gearboxes built at GMs Muncie, Indiana, transmission facility. Originally a Chevy design, it had an aluminum case like the Borg-Warner box but came with stronger synchronizers and wider ratios for better durability and drivability. With a 327 professionally built and installed this engine has a healthy sound and very healthy performance. With no expense spared on the rebuild of this 1964 Chevy Corvette You will definitely turn heads wherever you go. Painted a beautiful light blue with a fresh black interior and all new chrome youll swear this 1964 Corvette just rolled off the assembly line. Options included: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, hub caps, Seat belts, Radial tires, Posi traction, White walls and wire wheels. for more information, please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1988 BMW E30 M3. The M3 was originally introduced to battle head to head with Mercedes in Group A Touring Car racing. Little did they know it would become one of the most notable cars from the 80’s. In recent years collectors have took notice driving the prices of these beautiful European racers through the roof and still climbing. This example is an extremely original 88 E30 M3 owned by the same gentleman until recently being liquidated due to unforeseen reasons. The new owner has gone through the car and has it running in tip top shape. The silver paint has been massaged back to its original luster with the car looking like it has 6000 miles instead of the 56000. The aftermarket wheels are the only thing not original to the car but were the must have on these cars when they were released. The real deal OZ racing wheels add a flare to the car that the originals were lacking. Under the hood the engine that started the whole craze is siting nicely in place and has never even been out of the car. The manual 5 speed transmission reminds you that this is not your daughters BMW. The leather interior is in unbelievable condition especially with it being almost 30 years old. The powered sunroof is a treasured feature and one that is sure to be put into beneficial use. With the market for these European racers becoming the new it cars this example will surely be snatched up quicker than you can say M3. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is one pampered and meticulously maintained 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible from the collection of a private Texas collector. This example is pristine with its correct Rally Red paint scheme (1 of only 3,336 red vehicles), white soft top, black leather interior and original owner’s manual in the glove box. Importantly, all numbers match and are original to the car (e.g., engine, chassis, frame, glass, etc.). Powering this beauty down the road is its original L-79 327 CID V8 that puts out 350HP & is paired to the original 4-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly throughout all the gears along with the Posi-Trac rear end. Both the engine & trans have been professionally rebuilt with less than 19k miles on them. The interior is in excellent condition as well making this car a real pleasure to drive. All options on this car work as they should and overall the car shows extremely well. This would make a very nice addition to any enthusiast or collector. This Corvette was NCRS Flight Judged at the rigorous 2016 NCRS Lone Star Regional (October 2016, Frisco, Texas) and received 81. Points (against strict 1966 factory originality) overall from the 4 separate NCRS Judging Teams. Deductions were for being “over restored” (i.e., the paint is far too nice for 1966) or containing options added after dealership sale (e.g., AC, side-mount exhaust, leather interior). In October 2015, this Corvette also won “Best in Class” at the Sam Houston Corvette Club Show (The Woodlands, Texas). The vehicle was professionally restored in 2012 and has casual road time since then. A photograph book depicting the restoration is included with the sale as are extensive receipts from over the years. This car is equipped with options such as the side-mount exhaust, AC, teakwood steering wheel, knock-off wheels, power steering, & seat belts. This well-documented and striking Rally Red 1966 Corvette roadster is ready to drive and enjoy! Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible. This black big block is powered by a 375 horse 396 with the L-89 aluminum head option. This was a true screamer! Solid lifters and high compression pop-up pistons with free-flowing aluminum Winters GM cylinder heads. This is not an original L-89 car, or the price would be near double as only a handful were ever built. However, this is a very accurate representation of a real L-89 car. The car featured has received a full frame off restoration in 2014 and will stop most people dead in their tracks. The paint appears as if it is miles deep and the rumble emitting from the coated ceramic headers and Flowmaster mufflers is intoxicating. Putting the power to the pavement is a close ratio Muncie M-21 4 speed manual, 12 bolt rear end with 4.10:1 positraction gears and some wide radial rubber. The rear tires are 275/60R15 and the car needs it! These big blocks were known for their stump pulling torque. The solid lifter variant of the big blocks were some of the meanest on the street. With a redline of 6,500 RPM and a factory underrated 375 horsepower, this was not a car to underestimate. True power numbers are far above 400 horsepower, especially with headers. Some sources say adding headers to a solid lifter high RPM Chevy Big Block was worth 75-100 extra horsepower. The factory cast iron exhaust manifolds were very restrictive. Equipment on this big block 4-speed convertible include Power top, Power brakes, Power steering, Power windows, tilt steering column and an AM/FM radio. Triple black with Magnum 500 wheels wrapped with BFG radial rubber, this car is gorgeous. For more information, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000 or swing by for up-close viewing.
