These 94 convertibles are a rare creature with its triple black option being highly sought after. You can almost guarantee that 24 years ago the buyer ordered this beauty just the way you see it. The red paint is slick and shows well on this car with the alloy wheels being a great contrast. The convertible top is free from any stains with the back window being glass you won’t have to worry about it yellowing out over time. Under the hood is one of the greatest and well-known engines to ever leave Detroit, the iconic 5.0. Bone stock and appears to have been babied all its life this 302 with under 25,000 miles has plenty left in it. The Auto with Over Drive transmission allows for hassle free top down driving. Drop her in drive and mash the pedal is all you must do in this pony. Inside the gray leather interior is in amazing condition with no signs of major wear or rips which is hard to find in these cars. The CARFAX shows 2 owners with the first owning it until 2017 which is rare. If you have been wanting to get one of these new age classics that are up and coming this red ruby beauty should be on the top of your list. Description:

For sale in our Scottsdale Showroom is this 1979 VW Beetle convertible with a Fuel Injected engine and 5 speed transmission. The 1979 model year was the last year for the convertible Beetle which makes this car even more desirable. There were many upgrades done to the Beetle throughout its long production history and this car incorporates many of those improvements. The Bosch electronic fuel injection on this car insures easy starting in all weather and increases horsepower and gas mileage. The Macpherson strut front suspension gives this Beetle better handling and rid than earlier models. Unlike many vintage VWs that have had questionable and not always beneficial “modifications” done, this Bug is just as the engineers at Volkswagen who designed these cars intended. The body looks original on this car and is in good shape although there appears to be rust on the floorboards which was repaired with sheet metal and screws. The car has had a repaint at some point which looks good and the glass is in good condition as well. The soft top has no tears and works well, and the back glass is good, the black interior is also in good condition. There is a Sony AM/FM/CD player in the dash that works great to play your favorite tunes. This car runs, drives and shifts as it should and is ready to take you on your next open road adventure, so put the top down, let the sun shine and let the good times roll in this classic VW Beetle convertible! Remember yesterday’s thinkers are todays buyers so don’t wait. Description:

We are happy to offer for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Saint Louis Showroom this 3-Speed Automatic 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. This is a third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, which was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels. 1981 was the final year this vehicle was built in Saint Louis. The first thing you may think of when you see this classic from Chevrolet is a very unpopular song called Little Red Corvette by a marginally talented musician who sometimes went by the name of Prince, but at other times went by a symbol and had a fascination of what happens when you marry the colors red and blue together. As far smooth running, powerful sounding, and easy transition to the higher speeds, this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette with a L48 underneath the hood is everything that you would expect. When we took this vehicle into our inventory everything worked perfectly, except for the interior dome light. Recently replacement work included: New Steering Gear-box, New Interior Door Panels on the Driver and Passenger Door, New Power Window Switches in the Center Console, and New Door/Latch Assemblies in the Driver and Passenger Door. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For even more information, please call 618-271-3000 or email STL@GatewayClassicCars.com to speak with one of our knowledgeable sales consultants.

The sixth generation of the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and medium-duty commercial trucks that were produced by Ford Motor Company from 1973 to 1979. This generation was launched in December 1972 for the 1973 model year. These were the last generation of trucks to use the F-Series chassis introduced in 1965. After a decade as a compact SUV, the Ford Bronco was redesigned as a shortened version of the F-Series. This generation also marks the introduction of the F-150 (introduced in 1975) which today is the most popular model. This generation is noted for the body panels durability as Ford used extensive amounts of galvanized sheet metal, zinc coated steel, zinc rich primer and fender liners, to fight corrosion. In 1976, the F-Series became the best-selling trucks in America, a position it has continued to retain ever since. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is privileged to offer for purchase in our Dallas-Ft. Worth showroom this stunning and highly desirable 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SE Cabriolet. The exterior is a beautiful, rich dark green with a thick cognac leather interior. The documentation for this vehicle includes a binder full of service records and the original owner’s manual. Features on this collector quality vehicle includes air conditioning, power windows, power steering, steering column automatic transmission, power disc brakes, and Becker Europa AM/FM radio with power antenna. Mercedes-Benzs elegant Paul Bracq-designed W111 made its debut in 1959 and was produced, in its many variations, through 1971. Among the most desirable variations were the two-door models—the 280 SE Cabriolet and Coupe—which were expensive, virtually hand-built automobiles hailing from the great tradition of German craftsmanship. The wood trim throughout the interior were all genuine solid hardwood. The leather upholstery is thick and comfortable; and both the ride quality and handling are superb. These cars rapidly became favorites of international socialites and celebrities, and they were frequently seen cruising in all of the worlds most posh destinations. Just less than 1,400 280SE Cabriolets were assembled from 1968-1971. Their rarity, performance, handling, craftsmanship are all blended perfectly into a design that has become iconic. It is no wonder why the 280SE has become one of the most recognized classic Mercedes-Benz models sought after by collectors today. To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SE Cabriolet, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This ALL STEEL Ford 3-window coupe is one of the nicest builds you will ever find! Restored back around 2009 out of Maryland, there was no expense sparred when building this beautifully done hot rod. The roof was chopped down to give it those sleek lines and all metal was finished the correct way without using Bondo. Many man hours of sanding and prep work went into the car before laying down the best-in-show winning purple plum paint with traditional style flames that work well on this car. The artistry did not stop on the exterior though, open the suicide door and slide into luxury. The custom tan leather interior is soft and comfortable was used on nearly every square inch of the interior. The AC keeps you cool on those warm summer days and the ride feels much more solid than most replicas. Powering this steel bodied Ford is a powerful 540 cubic inch Merlin engine that is hooked up to a 3-speed automatic transmission and transferring it all out to a Winters quick change rear end. With just over 2,000 miles on the build of this car it is still fresh and ready to be shown off and driven! Once behind the wheel, you will be amazed at how smooth the ride is and how much power this little coupe has. Everywhere you go in this car it will turn heads, get thumbs up, and win awards when entered into a show! No matter what your intentions are for this 1934 3-window it will definitely not disappoint. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1934 Ford 3-Window in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This is a Pontiac enthusiast’s ground-up vision of what a modern, Pro-Touring GTO should have been. Reliable enough to be driven on a daily basis, right at home in a car show, or a beast on a track. With just 1,000 test miles on the build, this Goat is raring to go. Starting with a low-mileage, rust free California car, the frame was inspected and modified to allow low mounting of A/C compressor and four wheel coil over suspension. The frame was then continuously seam welded, sandblasted, epoxy primed, and painted gloss black. Rust proofing was also sprayed inside of frame. Power is provided by an LS1 with stage 2 heads, Comp cam, and Kooks stainless long tube headers all backed by a Tremec 6 speed manual transmission and 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears putting well over 400 horse power to the wheels. Special care was taken to conceal wiring and hoses in the engine bay, the firewall was smoothed and painted gloss black, as were the inner fenders and radiator support. Front suspension includes power rack and pinion steering, tubular control arms, 2” dropped spindles Viking double adjustable coilovers, and 1.25 stabilizer bar. Rear has double adjustable coil-overs, adjustable boxed control arms, 1” stabilizer bar, and Edelbrock chassis bracing. Brakes are Wilwood 4-wheel disk with drilled and slotted rotors. This GTO is equipped with digital dash, tilt and locking steering column, Mark 4 A/C, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, and Trans-|Am power seats (upholstered in 65 pattern). Convertible top has tempered glass rear window, and all mechanisms and hoses are new. Computer, relays and battery are mounted in trunk behind a upholstered and embroidered panel. The exterior paint is Mercedes silver, and really is show quality. All work was professionally performed, and all the modifications resulted in a great handling car with near perfect 50/50 weight distribution that is powerful and extremely reliable. Drive it, autocross it, or show it; this car is comfortable in any setting. Additional info available upon request. Options include: AC, AM/F, Radio, Automatic Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Anti-Theft System, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires and Aluminum Wheels. Description:

Now for sale at Gateways of Houston is this beautiful light blue 2010 Ferrari California. The California is a car filled with firsts for Ferrari: the first front-engine V-8, the first use of direct injection, the first seven-speed transmission, the first true launch-control system, the first retractable hardtop, and the first stacked exhaust. The direct injection helps improve mileage and decrease emissions but because the California is heavier than the F430 it shares its engine architecture with, the tuning is optimized to boost torque by 14 lb-ft at the expense of 29 horsepower, for a total of 454 hp and 357 lb-ft. All this power is sent through a Getrag dual-clutch paddle shifted seven speed transmission for smooth acceleration and lightning fast gear changes allowing this Italian grand touring car to sprint to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and running a ¼ mile in just under 12 seconds at 117mph. The cars ceramic brakes have been fined tuned compared to the other Ferrari’s you’ll find on the road, so they are much more user friendly yet still responsive stopping this car at 60mph in just 100 feet. The California features an all new Chassis to help keep this hard top convertible rigid and agile in the corners. This car is a true driving pleasure as you would expect from Ferrari, the California turns mundane trips out into an experience and turns heads wherever you go. Featuring navigation, leather interior, power everything, self-leveling headlights, stability control, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, driving zone, and cruise control. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/2010/ferrari/california-S1040.html. For sale in our Nashville, TN show room is this show stopping custom that has graced the floor of car shows from coast to coast. There isn’t a piece of sheet metal on this truck that hasn’t been tweaked, massaged, or cut to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Based off of ideas from the notes of and conversations with GM’s Chuck Jordan. To say that this truck is one of a kind is an understatement, this truck is more accurately described as irreplaceable. The subtle touches like custom interior and consoles are to be appreciated, but it’s the major touches that grabbed your attention and don’t let go. Custom wood work completed with exotic African hardwoods, shaved nosed, and decked, completely fabricated and redesigned bed sides, and a beautiful candy burgundy paint job. This truck is beautiful, well thought out, and expertly executed. Under the hood is a crate 383 stroker, with all the high polish and chrome you’d expect for a truck of this caliber. Behind that is a stout turbo 350 and a this is connected to a locking ford 9 inch rear end.
