This Truck has received a full frame off restoration, going from the ground up, going from your normal farm truck to a complete show truck. They started the restoration with a full sand blasting of the frame, the primered and shot black Imron. The truck has been lowered 6 inches from stock, and has a great stance! The frame was narrowed and fitted with a Ford 9 inch with 4.11 Detroit locker gears, equipped with strong 31 spline axles and disc brakes. coilover suspension was added all around to control the ride. The firewall was modified to accommodate the huge 502 Cubic Inch Big Block Chevy V8 Gen V Crate Motor. The 502 has been topped with a BDS 6-71 Supercharger with a pair of blueprinted 750 Holley Carbs., a BG 400 Fuel Pump and filter keeps the right amount flowing to the motor. A custom gas tank was fitted below the bed to accommodate the custom truck. The Transmission is a Turbo 400 with reserve shift pattern. The motor was built by Don Crippen and Dowker Racing Engines out of Charlotte Michigan. They disassmebled the crate motor, balanced it, installed high volume oil pump, screw in studs, Isky solid lifter cam, windage tray, Dart II Aluminum Heads, Harlem Sharp roller rockers, and stud girdle. Solid motor mounts were built as well. 3 inch stainless exhaust with Edelbrock RPM mufflers. Lyon Industries & Design out of Brighton Michigan did the body work and paint. they modified the firewall, shaved the door handles, installed remote door poppers, power windows, bucket seats, and custom console. It was painted PPG Radisons Purple with red pearl. The power seats were donated from a 1993 Cadillac STS, and were covered in white leather, along with the door panels. the headliner is covered in cloth. This far from stock power plant is bolted to a 4-speed Muncie M21 manual transmission which transfers power back to a Ford 9-inch rear axle fitted with a 4:11 geared ring and pinion. All original style Chevy frame is what is bolstered beneath this iconic looking hot rod. The Bel Air also features a Mustang II front end with a power steering rack and pinion setup making for ease of use while driving this mean machine. This is a Berger Camaro. Berger Camaro has been tuning Camaros since the early days right along the side of Don Yenko selling COPO Camaros and including the radical ZL-1. The year is 2000 and Berger is at it again, this time he limited production of his very special cars to 104 units over a three year period ending in 2002, the last year for the Camaro. We have for sale an original owner 2002 Berger Camaro SS #69. The car has currently 14,844 miles. It is 1 of 43 produced and is 1 of 1 Phase II in 2002 and is painted in a beautiful Navy Blue Metallic, with Painted White stripes which is a rare option, and Ebony leather interior. Very few cars had painted stripes. Of the 4 known to have them, this car might be the only 2002. It also has been signed by the builders which is very rare! Originally purchased as a Phase 1 car from Berger with the following, 380hp/400tq package, cat back chambered exhaust, all new High Flow Air box Lid, progressive rate Eibach lowering springs, 17x9.5 five spoke Fikse FM5 wheels with special SS logo center caps, dimple front and rear brake rotors with red powder coated calipers, dual hood and decklid stripes, black rear tail light panel, chrome by Berger rear panel emblem, Prescribed Power by Berger Air box lid decal, numbered console plaque and key fobs, fitted car cover with Berger SS logo, horsepower and torque dash plaque, Berger Prescribed Power emblems, all new grill with SS emblem, white-faced gauges with by Berger logo, Power antenna, car number on windshield and review mirror. The owner sent the car back to GMMG Inc, (modifying cars for Berger Chevrolet), and had it upgraded to a Phase 2 X6 package, (of 2 cars known, this is the only 2002), that upped the horsepower from 380 to 500! This included LS6 heads, headers, 4.10:1 gears, camshaft and tune. While there, it also had a few other special modifications installed. Electric exhaust cutout, Hurst line lock and a small shift light in drivers window pillar. The car has been autographed, under hood, by many of the major contributors that made this project happen. They include Matt and Dale Berger, owners Berger Chevrolet, Scott Settlemire, GM Assistant Camaro Brand Manager, also known as FbodFather, Matt Murphy, owner GMMC Inc. and Dennis Baker, previous Sales Manager and Camaro development at Berger Chevrolet. This contribution makes this Camaro truly one of a kind and very collectible. All original documents, as well as Phase 1 take off parts (cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds), original battery, air and oil filters. Heres a rare opportunity to own a very rare and powerful Camaro SS. Its in near new condition and ready for some serious fun. Open up the exhaust cutout and let all 500 ponies let loose. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston has an excellent opportunity for you to own this awesome 1962 Willys Jeep Station Wagon! Did you know that the Willys Jeep Station Wagon was the first mass-market all-steel station wagon designed and built as a passenger vehicle? This one has had a number of upgrades to improve the overall driving experience from that of a stock Wagon. Included in these upgrades is a stout 350 CID Chevrolet V8 engine that was rebuilt by Jasper Engine & Transmission about 8-10,000 miles ago. This engine has an extremely long life ahead of it. It is mated to a smooth shifting 400 automatic transmission which has also been rebuilt at the same time as the engine. If you take a look at the front and rear end of the vehicle you will notice that it has been adapted from a Toyota Land Cruiser to enhance the capabilities of the station wagon. The paint has been redone in a maroon/white combo and the interior was finished in maroon/brown vinyl. Together they look beautiful. The cabin is kept cool with a fully functioning air conditioning system for those hot summer days. If you had one of these back in 1962 you might remember songs like I Can’t Stop Loving You by Ray Charles playing through the radio for the first time. This Willys will play your favorite radio stations on it’s AM/FM radio for a more entertaining experience. Other convenient features include power steering to help you maneuver this ultra capable machine. You will also find power windows, seat belts, a tilt steering wheel and quality radial tires. This really is a fantastic example of one of the most iconic vehicles in American automotive history and it would be a shame to miss this one. We have financing and shipping options available to make the purchasing process easier even if you are not in the Houston area. Don’t miss this one.
