Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to present to performance enthusiasts the world over, a stunning, low mileage example of the legendary Dodge Viper for sale. This car comes to us via California and its evident the car has led a pampered life since being assembled by the Chrysler Corp. at its specialized assembly plant in Michigan nearly two decades ago. In 1996, Dodge began assembling what are now known as SR II cars, although the earliest ones still used some left-over components from the first generation. By the time this car was built in 2000, it had many frame improvements, having lost 60 lbs and yet being 25% more rigid. The 8.0L V10 engine also got some new hypereutectic pistons, helping this monster engine reach 450 BHP and posting some impressive numbers like 0-60 in four seconds, a quarter mile elapsed time of 12.2 seconds at 119 MPH, a top speed of 185 MPH, and an average slalom course speed of 73.6 MPH. Very impressive looks and performance, especially when its a one-year-only Steel Gray colored coupe like this one. Its a striking color, particularly when seen with the black leather interior and the chrome Viper wheels. This American performance car is fully loaded and the transmission underneath the floorpans is the legendary BW T56 six speed manual, allowing the driver to take full advantage of the 8.0Ls impressive power band. This car is a brilliant compromise of performance and comfort. Since earlier this year Chrysler announced the Viper would no longer be a part of their yearly offerings, collectors of all types have been scrambling to find the rarest and most desirable models from throughout the 16 year history of this iconic sports car. This is going to be a very collectible car in the future as enthusiasts sort out the good cars from the great cars, to the best examples of each type. A one-year-only color on a car with several up-dated performance and safety features with less than 20,000 original miles will certainly be among the ones people will want to have as time marches on. Dont miss this one. It wont be here long! To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this awesome 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Scottsdale showroom at 623-900-4884 or email us directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now available in our Dallas- Ft Worth-Showroom is this custom 1940 Ford Coupe. This coupe has an all steel body and is ready to steal the show for whomever is the new owner! Now to some, its taboo to place a Chevy engine in a Ford-body, however, the builder of this custom-rod didnt think that way. They were worried about one thing and one thing only POWER! Which this vehicle has plenty of, in the way of a 454 Chevy motor (the valve covers say 502, but its a 454). Worried about it being too powerful, going too fast? I didnt think so, but just in case you were, have no worries as this vehicle is equipped with front disc-brakes and a rear-drum braking system too. When this vehicle does finally slow down and come to a halt, you can then take notice of the fabulous 20s in the back 19s in the front Skop chrome wheels. Which are covered by 31x13 rear and 26x6 front Mickey Thompson tires, one of the most famous names amongst hot-rodders tongues. Finally, youll never be to hot, in this hot-rod, as it comes with an already installed vintage air system, keeping you nice and cool as you breeze down the road. Other options include: Power windows, Tilt wheel, Sony, Am/Fm-Radio with CD-player, Automatic transmission with a BTM pro-stick-shifter, and a remote to open both the doors and the trunk! To view this in 1940 Ford coupe in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Now available in our Dallas-Showroom is this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-Convertible! 1972 Chevelle’s marked the end of the second generation of the Chevrolet Chevelle. Little was changed visually, except for an updated grille and new front parking lights to echo the removal of the split-bar grille. Trims offered were the base Chevelle and uprated Malibu. Body styles offered included sport coupe, sport sedan, four-door sedan, and convertible. The El Camino pickup was also still based on the Chevelle, and there were four wagon styles offered – Nomad, Greenbrier, Concours and Concours Estate. Buyers who opted for either SS trim could also get the ZL2 package, which included the cowl induction hood, wide racing stripes, and stand-out hood pins. The Heavy Chevy package continued from a 1971 debut and featured unique graphics and upgraded suspension components. It was available on any V-8 model but the SS 454. They were an instant hit with service men and all they could talk about when they got home. Willy’s was way ahead of them with CJ2 with the CJ standing for Civilian Jeep. This 1947 CJ2 was built to replicate the original MB with a ton of time and money to make it as close to the real thing as possible. The green paint is exactly what you would expect with its flat look and covering everything in sight. The inline 4 was rebuilt and just like the original it runs like a clock. Of course, the 4-wheel drive works like a dream I mean it is a Jeep. Now for the fun stuff on this Army replica. First thing you notice is that huge 50 CAL gun that sits between the two seats. It has been fitted with a gas firing system much like the movies use. If you look down from the 50 you will notice 2 grenades that have been deactivated. IN the back you will notice a very correct CB radio that does work adding to the authenticity of this Army Jeep. The collapsible windshield has the classic Tommy Gun tucked away since there was no such thing as 2 many guns. Powering this Chevy II is a Supercharged 372 CID V8 engine mated to a TCI Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission and pushing the power to the ground through a Dana 60 rear end with 3:73 gears. The built has about 1400 miles driven since being completed and its just broken in. The current owner did document the receipts from the very expensive drivetrain build to help show the quality of the components used. This car can be set up with the large air breather and hood removed or the small air cleaner and the hood installed, both unique looks are sleek. Some notable engine parts include a TBS Supercharger from The Blower Shop, Dougs Long Tube Headers, Aluminum radiator, electric fan, dual quad Holley Carburetors, Air Flow research valve covers, braded fuel lines, side exhaust system, and so much more! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is exhilarated to offer this black-on-black 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR with the meanest stance you will ever see for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. The ‘KR’ stands for ‘King of the Road’ and first appeared in 1968. Ford paid a fitting tribute to this Shelby GT500KR by releasing a special-edition 40th anniversary version in 2008. Over 1000 cars were sold that year, but demand was so great that Ford green-lighted a second year of production; our Shelby GT500KR is one of 712 produced in 2009. Under the carbon-fiber composite hood of this King of the Road is a thumping 5.4l supercharged 32-valve V8 engine with just over 6000 original miles on it. Those low, low miles come fully documented with the original bill of sale and receipts for work that has been done to the car throughout its ownership history. Our 2009 Mustang Shelby GT500KR comes with plenty of creature comforts such as an AM/FM radio, 6-disc CD player with a Shaker sound system, cruise control, power windows/locks/mirrors and driver’s seat, anti-lock brakes with an air induction kit and traction control. Just imagine yourself in the leather sports seats embroidered with Caroll Shelby’s signature listening to the bark from the brushed stainless exhaust pipes, the moan from the cold-air intake and the whine from the supercharger in your ears as you plant your right foot firmly on the gas pedal and blast through the gears of the 6-speed, short-throw manual transmission. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own this mighty, modern muscle car by contacting our Scottsdale showroom today at (623) 900-4884 or scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information on this 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR for sale or to schedule an appointment to view the vehicle in person
