Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this very menacing 2011 Ford F150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew! The original inspiration behind the Raptor was to create a truck that you could drive around town during the week and run the Baja 1000 on your vacation. To quote Car and Driver: Fords pickup is pretty much a street-legal Trophy Truck. Its astonishing suspension allows composed cruising on the road as well as amazing control when youre barreling across the Mojave Desert or soaring over state-park sand dunes. The Raptor was first introduced in 2009, when Ford added the extremely capable Raptor to the F150 lineup. In 2011, all Raptors started with what had previously been an optional engine, the 411HP 6.2L V8. For some owners, 400+ HP was not enough, as was the case with this Raptor. This Raptor is quite literally a wolf in sheeps clothing - its unassuming white exterior hides a meat-grinding drivetrain. With only about 8200 miles on the recently upgraded drivetrain, this truck is just getting broken in. Underneath the relatively stock exterior lies a Livernois Motorsports Stage 2 Stroker V8, displacing 400 CID (6.6L). 9.5:1 compression ratio pistons handle the 12PSI of boost that the 2.9L Whipple WK-200355P supercharger is dishing out. Behind the big, bad, blown mill is a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission, which was built by Circle D Transmissions. The tranny is equipped with Exedy Stage 2 clutches, billet intermediate shaft, and has a converter release valve. The trans was built to handle up to 1000HP, which means it is plenty capable of handling the roughly 700 flywheel HP that the engine is putting out. With that much power, its a good thing that the oil pump has been upgraded to a high volume configuration with billet gears, and the heat exchanger has been upgraded with twin fans. A set of Kooks headers get the exhaust gases into the custom 3 stainless 2-into-1 exhaust; which, when this beast is lit up, will get the attention of anyone nearby. The entire powertrain package was installed and tuned by Blue Oval Performance in Arlington, TX; and their information states that the engine is capable of supporting 1300HP. A separate SCT Tuner is included, which allows the truck to be quickly switched between tunes for street and performance modes. The 4-wheel chassis dyno sheet on this truck shows 593.2 HP/643.2 TQ at the wheels on the street tune; so, its definitely not running on the ragged edge of what the drivetrain was built to be capable of. Three additional monitoring gauges have been added to the dash to help the driver keep tabs on all critical powertrain operating information. The factory Fox shocks have been replaced by upgraded King Off-Road Shocks with remote reservoirs, which adds even greater high-speed off-road racing capability vs. the already prodigious off-road capability that the Raptor was designed to have. To aid visibility during ultra-high-speed off-roading at night, custom LED lighting puts out enough lumens that youll be visible from passenger aircraft above. If, somehow you find yourself outrunning your lights at night, or just needing to haul down from triple digits in the neighborhood, stab the binder pedal, and the big multi-piston brake calipers will grab the drilled/slotted rotors and haul this wolf down to more appropriate speeds quickly. The truck is offered in a blinding white exterior with a black leather interior. Inside the cabin you wont find the rugged uncomfortable interior youd expect from a high-powered off-road machine. Instead, you will find luxury and creature comforts. You can choose to sit back and listen to the whine of the supercharger or turn on the upgraded stereo system. If you are looking for a truck that is a sleeper on the streets and a monster off road, then this is the truck for you. Options include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum Wheels, AM/FM/CD Player, Anti-theft System, Cruise Control, Driver and Passenger Airbags, GPS/NAV, Heated Seats, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior, Posi-traction, Power Antilock Brakes, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire (X2) and Tire Jack, Tilt Wheel, and Traction Control. For sale is a 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible located in our Indianapolis showroom. This ’64 Pontiac GTO is powered by a 389 Cubic inch tri-power V8 engine backed by a 4 Speed manual transmission. Options on this 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible include: AM Radio, Convertible Top (Auto), Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires. In 1964 Pontiac made available the GTO package to their Tempest model. The 1964 GTO was the only year where the dual headlamps were side by side. It was changed into the popular stacked headlights in 1965. Pontiac marketed the GTO as, ”Not everyone’s cup of Tea.” It was not made for the masses as it was intended to be, “A piece of performance machinery.” It most certainly is. This GTO package has the optional 389 cubic inch V8 engine with the tri-power. The 3 carburetors 2-barrel system gave this GTO an additional 23 horsepower over the standard single carburetor 4-barrel. The GTO suspension came with heavy duty springs, shocks and a stabilizer bar making spirted drives possible. This 1964 Pontiac GTO convertible has been registered and documentation from the Pontiac Historical Services. It comes with the build sheet and option codes. This GTO was a frame off restoration and brought back to its original glory. The GTO comes with a 4-speed manual transmission outfitted with a Hurst Shifter. The gray exterior is complemented well with the eye popping red interior. This GTO has been a well maintained and won’t be here for long. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air. This drop dead gorgeous Bel Air is powered by a non-original 409 Big Block V8 and mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual. The real kicker is the original low mileage, 32,418 original miles and all original sheet metal! That makes for an easier restoration and this restoration is fantastic. With big block power, a four speed and impressive paint and body work; this is an easy crowd pleaser. The paint looks a few days old but is in fact 7 years old. That’s what happens when you cherish a car like this one. This is not an original 409 car but is powered by a date coded 409. The blue interior is an uncommon but very tasteful combo with the beautiful black paint. Finishing off the classic muscle car sleeper look is a set of black wheels with dog dish hubcaps. The heart of this car is the infamous 409 engine. During the restoration, the engine was bored .040 over, fitted with a Thumper camshaft and balanced. Oh, what a sound it makes! Inside youll find a factory tachometer, (rare) factory tilt steering column and radio delete. Other equipment includes a heavy-duty sway bar, power steering and 3.50:1 rear gears. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a very unique 1957 Chevrolet Nomad! The two door Nomad took a completely different approach to a station wagon than any other era. With its styling cues being basically that of a 2 door hardtop, the Nomad would enjoy the same success as the tri fives that it was based off of. Much like the 2 door hardtop models the Nomad is one of the coolest platforms to restore. This ‘57 has been built to enjoy and drive on a daily basis while taking it to high level car shows on the weekend. The body was taken off the original frame and taken down to bare metal before being placed on a powder coated frame. The Pastel Lavender paint is slick and looks great while keeping with that classic ‘57 look. Using an upgraded suspension the ride is sporty and can handle anything you throw at it. The rack and pinion steering is crisp and light feeling with the custom wheels adding to the look and handling. With front disc brakes bringing everything to halt in a hurry, it gives you just enough confidence to drive this Nomad like a Camaro. Under the hood is all business with a Chevrolet Crate 502cid filling up the engine bay perfectly. The menacing exhaust note lets everyone know that there is no small block under that hood. Keeping everything at the right temp is an all-aluminum Be Cool Radiator that looks as good as it works. The Turbo-400 transmission routes the power to the rear end which has a set of 3.08’s in it making this a well suited highway hauler. The interior is a mix of classic and new with the painted dash filled with a set of custom digital gauges look great while being super functional. The Tweed bucket seats with the matching door panels tying it all together. Of course, the power windows are always nice especially when it gets a little too hot and the AC needs to be kicked on. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad include AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this rare 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible. The Marti Report certifies this Torino as 1 of only 13 with M Code 351, C-6 transmission, and Color/Trim Options. This Super rare Torino GT Convertible with highly desirable options is freshly and fully restored. Ford only produced 1,613 Torino GT Convertibles in 1971. ***Marti Report states 1 of 13 with specific paint and trim Options. *** 1 of 262 with the High Compression 351 M-code Cleveland engine and 4V closed chambered heads. *** 1 of 164 with factory white paint #1619-A. Originally an extremely rare factory triple white car, that has been restored to factory white with new black top and interior. *** 1 of only 30 cars ordered from 43 Milwaukee DSO. *** Rarer still, Factory installed Select-Shift C-6 Automatic transmission. Heavy-duty trans almost never seen with 351’s. *** Factory 9” Posi-Rear optional 3.25 gear ratio. *** Factory Bucket Seats with Center Console *** Hideaway Headlights *** Power Steering, *** Power Front Disc Brakes *** Heavy-Duty Battery Prior to a fresh restoration, this was a complete running well-kept car. Just completed extensive two-year, no expense spared highly detailed professional restoration to stock factory condition, with the addition of some very popular chrome engine and bolt on aftermarket parts for modern drivability, reliability, higher performance, enhanced driver comfort, and show car appeal. This GT performs much better than the day it left the factory, without permanently effecting originality. Can be return to 100% stock in a weekend. During the meticulous restoration everything, including the entire drive train, was disassembled and properly restored, show quality re-chromed, and professionally polished to factory condition. Current odometer reading approx. 36,000. Documentation shows this was only driven 3,000 miles in last 12 years. This Torino has only been driven few test miles since complete engine and transmission rebuild to ensure all is fresh and working perfectly. Best suited for a serious collector wanting a great investment that is sure to increase. Dependable enough to drive daily, or gently as a weekend warrior. The 351 Cleveland is generally considered a high-performance engine. However, the truth is 92% of North American 351C engines were basic, 2V, low-compression, medium horsepower engines. Only 8% of all Ford cars came equipped with this high-performance M- Code 351 Cleveland engine with 4V carbureted configuration. (NADA adds 25% price premium for this option.) This GT being offered for sale possesses the correct factory block with casting DOAE-L and casting date “1D21”. This is the real deal conservatively rated from the factory with 285 HP. However, it is now completely rebuilt using high performance internal components, by renowned Ford engine builder. This torque monster is now rated over 425 HP and designed to run modern unleaded fuel. It always starts, idles, and runs well with amazing bravado. ***Correct factory heads identified by 4* casting and eight bolt valve covers. These closed chamber (quench) style cylinder heads w large exhaust valves give very high flow capacity and are the real trick to the engines performance. With 10.7:1 high compression and monstrous free breathing ports, 61.3-64.3 cc combustion chambers, 2.198 intake valves and 1.715 exhaust valves. An article in Super Stock and Drag Illustrated tested a Torino equipped with the 370 HP 429 CJ, C-6 automatic, stated this car would really respond to a good ignition system, a better intake manifold, a larger carburetor and a set of headers. This convertible GT’s restorers took their sage advice and kept the car mostly stock but installed these high-performance upgrades and a bit more, detailed below. *** Entire engine bay highly detailed and painted correct factory semi-gloss black. *** Engine painted correct Ford blue. ***Block professionally cleaned, sonic tested, balanced, blueprinted, align bored, and cylinders honed .030 over. *** Heads received all new Light Weight Valves with Crane Roller Rockers. *** Cig-Erikson Performance Cam and Lifters produce a mild awesome muscular lope. Description:

Turn every head while you cruise in this rare 1961 Pontiac Ventura this Summer! The 1961 full-sized Pontiacs were completely restyled including an all-new “Torque-Box” perimeter frame that replaced the “X” frame chassis used since 1958. The distinctive split grille, first seen in 1959 and dropped in 1960, was reintroduced. Roof lines were somewhat squared off and the new body was slightly smaller and lighter in 1961. All engines were 389 cubic inch V8 plants, but there were new option codes available to performance enthusiasts. Our beautiful 1961 Pontiac Venture Sports Coupe came equipped from the factory with a very special 363 hp version sought out by serious drag racers. The 61’s never came from the assembly line with a plant larger than the 389, but a new, hand assembled, 421 cubic inch Tri-power beast was made available as a dealer installed option late in the season. This rare Ventura was the happy recipient of one of these factory replacements built on May 1, 1961, replacing the original 389. The performance features ordered did not stop with the engine and include a 4-speed manual transmission and performance axle package, “Saf-T-Track” 3.90 differential and dual exhaust. The exterior is bathed in the original Coronado Red with a stylish red/white vinyl interior that includes split front bench sheets. This well-documented fast ride underwent a complete frame-off restoration in 2012 and is ready to show. This beautiful Ventura Sports Coupe is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Description:

This 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT350 tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1968 Was a great year for Ford and Carrol Shelby. They had been teamed up since the conception of the mustang in 1964. The newer mustangs would be a little larger which meant Carrol would have to pack on some more power. The GT350 would be his no non sense car while the luxurious GT500 would be the pony car that had the luxury and performance compared to the performance above all else GT350. 68 would also be the first year that the A.O Smith company would begin doing the conversions and only for 9 months. Shelby America had not been up to par on there quality control; measures so Ford decided to see the A.O Corporation which would do an excellent job. A lot of enthusiasts believe that is the reason the 68 Model year being one of the most sought after. This black example was built from the ground up about 10 years ago and has truly passed the test of time. The black paint still looks amazing with the white accents really setting the car off. The body kit fitment is one of the best I have seen with exhaust falling out perfectly, under that fiberglass dual intake hood is a healthy 408 Crate engine that gives this pony car all the HP it needs. Mated up to a 5 speed Tremec transmission this GT350 clone is ready to be driven in real world situations. The 9-inch rear end has been filled with a set of very versatile 3.70 gear set making the GT350 a blend of low end acceleration and top-end speed. Inside the black interior is a very clean and goes perfectly with the exterior. 2 bucket seats separated by a console which houses the shifter for the manual transmission. Drop the clutch and let the wheels search for traction as then 408 comes to life. This black fastback is guaranteed to catch everyones attention. Options on this 1968 Fastback Mustang GT350 Clone include, AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. This 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT350 Clone can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Looking to expand its clientele, Pontiac decided to up the ante a bit by offering an F-Body with an optional Trans Am Performance and Appearance Package.By 1969 the Pontiac Firebird was a mere two years old and had debuted to moderate success. Ten years later the Trans Am had a large fan base. To commemorate that ten-year anniversary, Pontiac decided to offer its first Special Anniversary Trans Am. And when it was all said and done, they had assembled 7,500 of what fans call the silver car. Of those 7,500 Tenth Anniversary Editions, only 1,817 had the L78 6.6L 400ci V8 and the Borg Warner T-10 4-speed. Today this silver Screamin Chicken sits a true survivor with only 5,674 actual miles registering on its odometer. You would never guess that this Firebird is nearly 40 years old. The body looks absolutely stunning and is covered in the original two-tone paint. At the front of the body is a special massive screaming chicken decal that rests on the hood. Above the decal is the shaker hood that has the lettering T/A 6.6 on either side. On the roof you will find correct, mirrored T-tops. At the back of the car is a slick rear spoiler and more Trans Am badging. Pop the hood on this Firebird and youll be greeted by an original L78 6.6L 400ci V8. Due to emission standards, 1979 was the final year that Pontiac offered all of its larger displacement engines. Bolted to the 400 cubic inch Pontiac V8 is the original 4-speed Borg Warner Super T-10 transmission, which sends power to a 3.23 Posi-traction rear end. Spent gases travel down the original headers to and out the original dual exhaust. Power 4-wheel disc brakes are responsible for slowing the Firebird, while the entire car rides on special 15x8 cast aluminum wheels that have been wrapped in Goodyear Polysteel Radials. Open the door to this Trans Am and youll find a very well preserved silver leather interior that features firm bucket seats. This is where youll also see the odometer that reads 5,675 miles. You can view this 1979 Pontiac Trans-Am in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/273/1979-Pontiac-Trans-Am

Description:

Following the downsizing and adoption of the Panther platform for the 1980 model year, the Lincoln division was faced with a critical issue. After the discontinuation of the compact Lincoln Versailles early in 1980, Lincoln was left with two full-size sedans. Although each brand-new for the model year, the Lincoln Continental and Continental Mark VI were functionally identical vehicles. Aside from the "Continental tire" trunklid and hidden headlamps of the Mark VI, the two vehicles offered little differentiation.

The Lincoln Continental made its return in early 1981 as a 1982 model. To further separate Continental from the Town Car, Lincoln designers shifted the car into the mid-size segment. Though again marketed against the Cadillac Seville, the 1982 Lincoln Continental was never officially considered by Lincoln as the replacement for the Versailles. Marketed solely as a four-door sedan, the Continental was the first (and currently, only) Lincoln ever to wear the "Continental trunklid" of the Mark series. It shared its wheelbase and powertrain with the Mark VII introduced for the 1984 model year.

Using the lessons learned from Lincoln Versailles and badge engineering, Lincoln stylists took great care to differentiate the expensive Continental from the Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar XR7 sharing a common chassis with it; unlike the Versailles, no visible body panels were shared.
Shifting from the Ford Panther platform to the Ford Fox platform, the Lincoln Continental became a mid-size car for the first time. In its redesign, the Continental would lose nearly 9 inches in wheelbase and 18 inches in length, along with over 400 pounds of weight.

Although it would be the shortest-wheelbase Lincoln ever (at the time), the Continental would use a stretched 108.5" wheelbase version of the Fox platform used by the Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar. In marked contrast to its Cadillac Seville competitor, which switched to a front-wheel drive GM platform, the Continental retained the use of rear-wheel drive.

The 1982 Lincoln Continental was fitted with two different engines. The standard engine was a 131 hp carbureted version of the 5.0L V8. At no cost, a 3.8L V6 (shared with the Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar64) was an option; it was the first non-V8 Lincoln since 1948. Both engines were discontinued for the 1983 model year, replaced by the fuel-injected 5.0L V8 from the Town Car. All three engines were fitted with the 4-speed Ford AOD overdrive transmission. As a response to the diesel engine options available in Cadillacs and a number of European luxury brands, Lincoln introduced an optional 114-hp 2.4L turbodiesel inline-6 sourced from BMW (with a ZF 4-speed automatic transmission) for 1984. WIth only 1,500 sold, the diesel-powered Continental was rarely ordered and discontinued after the 1985 model year.

The seventh-generation introduced two features as industry firsts: gas-charged shock absorbers and self-sealing tires.
