Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer up for sale, a 1927 Hudson Super Six, that has received a Frame-off nut and bolt restoration. Powered by its original Inline 6-cylinder engine, 3 Speed manual transmission, painted dark Blue, she is a sight to behold. one sign of the quality of this restoration will be when you close the doors and the shut with a positively solid thunk! For 1927, the Hudson Super Six received a complete redesign including a new F-head engine, 18-inch wood spoke wheels (rather than 21 inches), and four-wheel brakes. The car was lower and generally more stylish, and power increased from 76 to 92 hp (57 to 69 kW). The lower-cost Model R sat on a 118 1?2 in (3,010 mm) wheelbase, while that of the Model S is 127 3?8 in (3,240 mm). Two standard bodies were available, a two-door Coach and a four-door Sedan. The Model O was also available with five different Custom body styles, made by Biddle and Smart of Massachusetts. The engine was updated in July 1927, with a new manifold and a different head design, including the relocation of the spark plugs and intake valves. Hudson chose not to increase the claimed power, but many consider the stated output to be very conservative. In 1927, Essex also chose the Super Six label for their cars, while aligning their design with that of the larger Hudsons. Essex kept calling their cars Super Sixes in 1928 and off and on until 1932. Restoration pictures included To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this Hudson, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this ultra-luxury classic 1954 Bentley R-Type Sedan for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Yes, youll immediately notice the Rolls Royce badges everywhere on this one but if you didnt know already its worth pointing out that Bentley and Rolls Royce were the same company back when this car was sold. The aforementioned have always charged a premium for their hand-built automobiles and this Bentley R-Type was no different with its 1954 MSRP of $10,735- thats over $100,000 in todays dollars and to give a comparison, Chevrolets 1954 Corvette sold for just $2,775 when new. The modern Rolls Royce radiator grille with the unmistakable “Spirit of Ecstasy really sets off this British sedan which already has a very distinctive body style and the two tone Black and Silver paint is opulence personified! These Bentleys had a reputation in the 1950s for providing long distance, high speed, reliable motoring and the 279 CID (4.6l) Straight 6-cylinder motor has a lot to do with that. The 150hp estimated output was more than some American 8-cylinder engines were making back then and was capable of a 120mph top speed too. Shifting the gears on this 4,300lb R-Type is a 4-speed automatic transmission General Motors Hydra-Matic unit straight from Detroit; Rolls/Bentleys first automatic vehicle was this R-Type and they continued using GM transmissions into the 21st century. Let your chauffer open the door for you and check out the beautiful, well-preserved Red leather interior on this Bentley. The 50s were indeed a simpler time for creature comforts, but real wood, leather and a classy period correct dash arrangement reminds you of what youre driving. An automatic choke, rear window defroster, heater controls and an aftermarket radio/CD player added will keep you comfortable wherever youre headed. Driving this R-Type is fun, but the back seat is the place to be if you want to be treated like a King: legroom is ample and wooden fold out tables complete the look. If youre still reading this ad, we know youre in love with this 1954 Bentley R-Type just as much as we are! Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales team a call at (623) 900-4884 for more information. Alternatively we can be emailed directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com See more photos and a video at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/SCT/630/1954-Bentley-R-Type

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Ft. Lauderdale is proud to present this 2003 Panoz Esperante. The Esperante was launched in mid-2001, and, technologically, its calling cards are aluminum and carbon fiber. Several elements of its chassis are composed of super-strong extruded alloy, and theyre bolted and bonded to several substructures. One beauty of this methodology is that most frame pieces--including the side-impact crush- zone members--are replaceable in the event of damage. If theres any car that gives its all for the Esperante, its the Mustang Cobra. Much of the black metal that makes up the Esperantes front floorpans, firewall, and windshield header--brutally expensive structures to develop and certify--comes from the 02 Cobra, as does its 320-horse DOHC 4.6 lit V-8, Tremec T45 five-speed manual transmission, certain front and rear suspension pieces, emissions gear, and electrical componentry. Sporty, luxurious, and comfy describe the cabin; stitched leather, body-colored carbon fiber, and machined aluminum trim dominate the look. The padded power top goes up and down easily, but when you hear the Esperantes Magnaflow-muffled stainless-steel dual exhaust system, you wont much care about putting the top up unless you encounter a blizzard. This isnt a small car, and theres plenty of room for drivers of most any size. The owner states that this 2003 Panoz Esperante is the only one in Green. The Tan leather interior is super clean, and in very good condition. With four new Nitto tires and a Borla exhaust, this 2003 Panoz Esperante is ready to hit the road and the wind in your hair and a smile on your face. Options on this 2003 Panoz Esperante include: A/C, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Automatic Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Telescopic Wheel, Keyless Entry, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Airbags, Leather Interior, Kill Switch, Radial Tires, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels.
