And, your friends at Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City has this very vehicle in inventory! The Chevrolet Camaro was devised as a counterpunch to the famous Ford Mustang, and in the process it became a performance icon itself. GM had been forced to watch the massive success of the Mustang with nothing of their own to counter it, and immediately deemed it necessary to respond in kind. A pony car was approved in 1964 and was ready for the 1967 model year. Like the Mustang, the Camaro was offered in a range of models, from an attractive yet basic coupe to potent and pricey high-performance models. Our beautiful blue Camaro with matching interior and white convertible top, has just undergone an extensive frame-off, Rotisserie restoration! Sporting a very peppy rebuilt 350 V-8 engine with an automatic transmission, this Camaro is guaranteed to elevate your attitude with a grin from ear to ear! Call us today to start on a path to overall improvement and happiness with this timeless beauty! Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City, 1202 South lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061, (913) 815-1340.

Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this stunning restomod 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe. Powering this Burnt Orange beauty is a much newer Gen3 5.3l small block Chevrolet V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The goodies dont end there, however, as it was also equipped with air-conditioning, a Mustang II style front suspension, and a completely renovated interior. The restoration finished about 5 years ago but has taken a number of years, and a few owners, to complete. The fenders and running boards are fiberglass, but the bulk of the body is original Chevy steel. Though the paint was done some years ago, it still looks wet enough to swim in. The windows have a slight tint and look sharp on this modernized antique. The V8 has a Spectre short-ram intake and tubular exhaust manifolds installed to give a bit more grunt from factory. A 4-speed automatic gives a great balance of performance for hot-rodding around and overdrive gearing for long hauls. A 10-bolt rear axle is strong enough to handle anything this torquey engine can throw at it with ease. With gorgeous curves, thunderous growls, and a comfy cabin, this 40 Chevy has it all. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/CD player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Kill Switch, and Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. For more information on this slick 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. It was the new coming of competition against the iconic Ford mustang. This year came with newly designed fenders, doors and quarter panels. The standard grill was restyled with sharper angles and this year was the first year for variable ratio steering. No longer 100% stock, this American Muscle car is bathed in GM hugger orange paint with the classic twin rally stripes. This beautiful beast offers a small block Chevrolet V8 with aluminum heads, long tube headers, Edelbrock Victor Jr. aluminum intake topped by a Holley 4BBL carb, MSD 6AL ignition, a mild race cam to give it that muscle car rumble, and an upgraded aluminum radiator with twin electric cooling fans. This potent small block is backed by automatic transmission with a shift kit that really snaps off the shifts. This piece of American history sits on some nice chrome mag wheels that are wrapped by 225/45R17 radials up front, and 275/45R17 radials out back. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this sleek 1934 Ford Phaeton. 1934 was the year of Flash Gordan Comics, Naming the baseball, and the production of Ford Phaetons. This beautiful 34 Ford Phaeton came from NASCAR driver Dick Carters private collection. The car is from Arizona and has been restored into this beautiful Street Rod. Powered by a Chevrolet 327 CID V8 tied to a Holley Single 4 Barrel she can go without much of a struggle! The engine has been paired up to a TH350 Automatic transmission, so cruising is the beauty is simple. Something cool about the car is that the frame is believed to be original from 1934! Of course, it has been boxed and strengthened to withstand the years to come. The suspension has been kept like what it would have been when this car was built from the factory. The front suspension is set up with a transverse leaf spring, with standard leaf springs in the rear. The power of the Phaeton is transferred through the 10-bolt rear end which features 3:10 gearing. The brake system was updated as well with discs on front while leaving drums in the rear. Other added components include: Uni-lite distributor, new master cylinder, third brake light, and coated exhaust manifolds. The dual exhaust is a bonus to the car giving it a nice town which will get a few heads turned your way. Painted in a beautiful 2-tone red and black this car truly is something worth taking a 2nd look at. The running boards of the car are steel, while the fenders are fiberglass. The top is a beautiful beige color and can be kept on or removed for those beautiful summer events. Complimenting the beige top is the 15 spoked wheels that are in great condition. One thing you certainly wont forget about this car is the beautifully large chrome grille, with the nicely added dog statue. Upon entering this cool classic, you will notice this car features the unique suicide doors. What is crazy is that many people dont know why they are called “suicide doors. The reason is simple, if the door were to swing open while driving and you reach to catch it, the wind and force would pull you from the vehicle essentially committing “suicide. By no means am I saying this will happen in this car, its merely where the term came from. The interior features new gauges, tilt column, period correct leather interior that is in good condition, and a spacious back seat for the family. For more information on this 1934 Ford Phaeton for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1520 . The result was phenomenal with Ford setting new Thunderbird production records in 1960. The 1960 Thunderbird was one of the greatest achievements in American automotive design of the time. Driving a Thunderbird in 1960 was one of prestige and distinction that signified owning automotive luxury supplied by an American car manufacturer. This vehicle comes in Corinthian white with a dramatic 2-tone red and white leather interior. Options include: a power convertible top, power windows, power seats, power brakes and power steering making a cruise in this thing an absolute enjoyable breeze. This is all powered by a 352 cubic inch FE V8 providing plenty of torque to move this large bodied car along with ease. Which is attached to an automatic 3-speed Cruise-o-matic transmission. The 1960 Thunderbird is the whole package, complete with a newer black convertible top, and the rare and unusual roadster tonneau package. This gorgeous convertible is a prime example of when luxury and power are combined to create a true American classic. Description:

Our Gateway Dallas showroom is digitally showcases this incredible 1983 Jeep Wagoneer Limited. This is an unmolested premium example of Wagonner, perfect for any collection. My first impression upon seeing this classic was to remember the ad for this vehicle in Field and stream magazine featuring the Wagoneer parked under a tree while dad, dressed in his fishing gear baited the hooks and Mom unloaded the picnic basket. For those of you under 35, a magazine is like a newspaper only stapled in the middle and printed on glossy paper with lots of photos, but I digress. This Wagoneer is original, survivor, in amazing condition, no trees were harm as the wood grain used here is vinyl it came from the factory with. The interior is a mixture of blue and tan and shows how much this Wagoneer has been loved through the years. Powering this Jeep is a AMC 360 Cubic inch V8 that is bolted to a torque flight 727 3 speed automatic transmission that handles all the gear changes for you and sends the power to Dana 44 Axles to all four tires. Selec- trac four wheel drive, that is how Dad got to his favorite super secret fishing hole, or how the Bikini clad young ladies got their surf boards to the beach depending on the Magazine you where reading in 1983. These early SUVs where all about the outdoors, Campin, fishin or huntin, (not sure why but if you do it outdoors you have to leave the “G off) the Jeep Wagoneer was the way to get you there in style and get you home should the weather turn for the worst. Options for this 1983 Jeep Wagoneer for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Cassette, Cruise control, Power steering, brakes, windows and lock, Vinyl interior, Seat belts, and Aluminum alloy wheel with radial tires. Not to mention four wheel drive so that you can drive your family past the cell signals to a place I call “Outside. Description:

Now available in our DFW Showroom is this exquisite 1936 Ford 5-window. The 36 Ford was an instant success for the Ford Motor Company with over 800k units sold that year. Still considered by many the best-looking front end on any Ford they are a natural fit for a Street rod Build. This beauty has kept its natural lines and appears to be real Henry Ford Steel. One thing is certain the all metal body has slick Desert Sand & Cordoba tan paint. Open the rear lid and you will be surprised to see not a trunk, but a functioning rumble seat, allowing for a couple more passengers if desired. The rear window is capable of rolling up and down, so you can communicate with any passengers riding in the rumble seats. The interior of the car was done in a comfortable Ultra-leather bench seat, which is highlighted by the Ford dash with tiger wood pattern throughout. The windshield still has the ability to roll out allowing for a great breeze when cruising. Under the hood is the go-to price for any Street rodder, the small block 350 has plenty of power, durability and parts can be found pretty much anywhere. The billet dress up kit looks great and does not require the polishing of chrome. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with firm yet positive upshifts. The 8 Ford rear end has a set of highway gears that allow for a decent RPM when going down the road (3.00- gears). If you have been wanting a clean real deal all steel Street rod that loves to be driven down the road this 36 5 Window should be at the top of that list. Options of this 1936 Ford 5 window include; AM/FM, Electric Wiper system, Ultra-Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, Rack & Pinion steering, Disc brake conversion (Dual master cylinder), 1956-57 Lincoln Premier Hub Caps & 205/75 R15 Coker Classic Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this Mean 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. This Chevelle SS is the perfect way to blow the doors off of the competition at the track, and then casually cruise away laughing as they trailer their cars home. This monster is packing a balanced and blueprinted 396 with aluminum Edelbrock Heads, Roller Rockers, MSD Ignition, MSD Ultimate HEI Billet Distributor, 750 Double Pumper Demon Carburetor, Hooker Super Competition 2 1/8 Ceramic Coated Headers, and the crown on top is a Race Vortech Supercharger. This amounts to ground-pounding 719 horsepower and 700 foot pounds of torque. There is more to winning than cubic inches and horsepower. You need to be able to put the horsepower to the pavement and control it. You are able to achieve this with Hotchkiss Rear Suspension and new rear springs. All new front and rear polyurethane suspension bushings, transmission mount, motor-mounts, including front and rear sway bar bushings. Once you get going, stopping is the most important part. However, push this Super Sport to the limit and the front and rear Wilwood 4-piston caliper brakes will bring this wild Chevelle to a halt quickly. Some of the other components to this Beastly Chevelle are a TCI 700R4 transmission, which tames the vehicle to be easily driven on the highway. In addition to the TCI trans is a TCI torque converter with a 3400 to 3800 stall. A B&M four speed ratchet shifter insures crisp shifts and fast shifting. All the power is put to the ground by the way of a 12 bolt rear-end, housing an Auburn posi-traction with 3.73 gears. Options include AM/FM Cassette/CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Kill Switch, Radial Tires, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, and Posi Traction. The package is wrapped up in a true 138 code Chevelle which makes this a Real Super Sport. Add in the fact that this is a paint code black car and the value on this Muscle Car keeps rising. This 67 Chevelle is a worthy investment that can easily be returned to stock or kept as is. No matter which way you choose to enjoy this excellent car it will bring you priceless memories.
