Description:

This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Alfa Romeo GTV is a car that many will say is one of the best-looking cars to come from across the pond. With its great lines and near perfect stance it is easy to see why so many have fell in love with these cars. Much like other European cars they have steadily gone up in value and are on any collectors bucket list. This 73 is a fitting example of what these cars can become with some time and money. The body of this California car is original with a fresh silver paint job accenting those smooth lines. Pop the hood and the Dual cam inline 4 is amazing to look at just sitting there. The dual Weber carb set up gives a throaty induction noise that is intoxicating and will give you an even heavier right foot. Turn the key and this freshly built piece of art is capable of 200HP while that classic inline 4 goes screaming into the higher RPM range. The original 5 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth with the clutch having a great feel. Gears are short and are a blast to row through, this Alfa is fun at any speed. The odometer shows 81,000 actual miles with 1,000 on the rebuild. The interior is original to the car with the black vinyl being in excellent condition. The bucket seats have enough side bolster to hold you in when going through the corners and are comfortable enough considering this is a sports car. The shifter is in a great position placing it right at arms length. If you have been wanting to get into the collector European car scene but dont want to spend 6 or even seven figures this little Romeo would make for a great compromise. Options on this awesome 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 include, AM/FM, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Wheels and Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this numbers matching B5 Blue 1970 Plymouth Road Runner for sale. Introduced in 1968 as a trim level for the Plymouth Belvedere, the Road Runner was designed to be a “no frills muscle car, just a simple car with a big engine. Trim-wise, it was fit between the highest trim GTX and the slightly lower trim-level Satellite. The Road Runner sold double its expected numbers in the first year, becoming a tremendous success! This Road Runner went through a complete restoration prior to its current owner purchasing it in 2006 and was repainted in its original B5 blue that shines in the sun. The body lines, along with the stance of this car give it a solid and mean presence. According to its owner, it is powered by its original 4BBL carb-equipped 383 CID V8, which is backed by its original 4-speed manual transmission. It gets all of its 335 horsepower to the ground via its limited-slip Dana 60 rear end, so those Coker re-pops of the Firestone F70-15 red line SuperSport tires dont stand a chance if you dump the clutch from a standing start. The ever-present pistol grip shifter really adds to the fun - it just feels good in your hand. The interior looks nearly as good as it did when it left the assembly line and is in the same B5 blue as the exterior. The carpet is in very good condition, panels and trim look great, and the vinyl seating surfaces look almost unused. Its original dash and gauges still look great, as well. Additional features and options on this 1970 Plymouth Road Runner for sale include AM Radio, Red Line Bias Ply Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire, and Vinyl Interior. Our Kansas City showroom is thrilled to offer this a stunning 1955 Ford Thunderbird that is very much original with modern changes making it a great drivers car! The Thunderbird was Henry Fords response to the Chevrolet Corvette, and was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. No one could have predicted the success the Thunderbird would have. With a short and stout body, lovely curves, and a removable hard top, its a real looker. Some of the modern touches to this T-Bird includes the wide white wall radial tires. This Thunderbird for sale is powered by a legendary 292 cubic inch Y-Block V8 and is accompanied by a rare manual transmission, which makes it a fun a nice cruiser for anyone and everyone. The red interior was reupholstered, and the carpet was replaced giving the interior the look it did coming right out of the showroom back in 1955. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this super rare 1969 Ford Torino Talladega for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The Talladega was named after the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama and was only manufactured in the first few weeks of 1969. The sole purpose of this production car was to make Ford even more competitive in NASCAR stock car racing and due to homologation rules had to have enough vehicles available for sale to the general public which was 500 in 1969. It is believed that a total of 754 Talladegas may have been built, although the Talladega/Spoiler Registry can only account for a maximum of 750 and only 258 were finished in Royal Maroon. This number includes all prototypes, pilot cars, and production cars built, plus a special post-production car that was built for the president of Ford Motor Company, Semon Emil Bunkie Knudsen. All of the production Talladegas came equipped with the 428 Ford Cobra Jet V8 backed by the C6 transmission that proved to be very strong and reliable and the only additional option was the AM radio at a retail cost of $61.40. This car has that Marti report showing the production date as 2/18/69 - Four days behind schedule. With such low initial production numbers and being that the car was built for racing there are few of these fine machines left and now is your chance to have one in your very own garage. When was the last time you saw one??? Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 2003 Corvette! This is a 2 owner car. This one has the Lingenfelter Performance Package engine upgrade to a LS6 (Darton Sleeved Factory LS1 Block) which brings the engine up to 8.63L (Z06 Equivalent) and 530 HP. The Transmission has been changed from a Manual Gearbox to a MXO performance 4 Speed W/ overdrive. The 3:42 Rear Gear was also upgraded from the Stock 2:73. New engine codes to go with the Engine Modification. The C5 was the most completely redesigned Corvette since the Corvettes inception in 1953. Production of the C5 Corvette actually began in 1996 but quality/manufacturing issues saw its release to the public in mass delayed until 1997, and continuing through the 2004 model year. The C5 was a completely new design that featured many new concepts and manufacturing breakthroughs that would be carried forward to the C6 & C7. It had a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) and was judged by the automotive press as a breakthrough with vastly improved dynamics in nearly every area over the previous C4 design. Innovations included a 0.29 drag coefficient, near 50/50 weight distribution, active handling (the first ever stability control for a Corvette), and electronic power steering assistance. It also weighed less than the C4. An all new LS1 aluminum engine (Gen III small block) featured individual ignition coils for each cylinder, and aluminum block and pistons. It was initially rated at 345 bhp (257 kW) and 350 lb?ft (470 N?m), but was increased to 350 bhp (260 kW) in the 2001 edition. The new engine, combined with the new body, was able to achieve up to 28 mpg on the highway. Corvette Z06 For its first year, the C5 was available only as a coupe, although the new platform was designed from the ground up to be a convertible, which returned in 1998, followed by the fixed-roof coupe (FRC) in 1999. One concept for the FRC was for it to be a stripped-down model with a possible V6 engine (nicknamed in-house as the Billy Bob).[65] By 2000, FRC plans laid the groundwork for the return in 2001 of the Z06, an RPO option not seen since Zoras 1963 race-ready Corvette.[66] The Z06 model replaced the FRC model as the highest performance C5 Corvette. Instead of a heavier double-overhead cam engine like the ZR-1 of the C4 generation, the Z06 used an LS6, a 385 bhp (287 kW) derivative of the standard LS1 engine. Using the much more rigid fixed roof design allowed the Z06 unprecedented handling thanks to upgraded brakes and less body flex.[67] Those characteristics, along with the use of materials such as a titanium exhaust system and a carbon fiber hood in the 2004 model year, led to further weight savings and performance gains for the C5 Z06. The LS6 was later upgraded to 405 bhp (302 kW)for 2002–2004. Although the Z06s rated power output equal to that of the C4 ZR-1, the improved rigidity, suspension, brakes, and reduced weight of the C5 produced a car quicker than C4 ZR-1 Don’t miss your opportunity to own a piece of real Chevrolet Corvette history in our Denver Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1991 AM General Humvee that is located here in our Detroit showroom. The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle is a family of light, four-wheel drive, military trucks and utility vehicles produced by AM General. Primarily used by the United States military, it is also used by numerous other countries and organizations and even in civilian adaptations. The rugged look and brute force of a military grade Humvee has always been desirable, and this specific Hummer has been outfitted with some really great parts. The exterior and underbody of this Humvee have been Raptor Coated to give it the most rugged look you could possibly get. The coating doesnt only serve an aesthetic purpose, it also works as a sealant to keep all the grime away when taking this vehicle off road. Other great pieces have been added to the exterior to add to the aggressive look, things like roof, bumper, and hood mounted LED lights and light bar, aluminum hard top, and a 3 body lift kit. This Humvee sits on a gigantic pair of XD KMC wheels that have been wrapped in Toyo Open Country M/T tires, it almost sits as tall as a monster truck! Into the interior of this military grade vehicle you will find that is a bit milder than the mean looking exterior. Four vinyl seats sit at each end of the interior to give plenty of space for storage. The headliner has been fitted with 12 speakers that all sound excellent, especially paired with the complimented thumping bass from the 15 subwoofer that sits at the back of the truck. An Alpine iLx-F309 touch screen keeps all this in line and features things like GPS and satellite radio. Other features in the interior of this Humvee include a siren, PA system, horn, and a handgun safe. The heart and soul of this Humvee is a stout 6.2L Detroit Diesel engine that makes more than enough torque and power to ease through any off-road trail. That massive engine is paired to a smooth automatic transmission that easily shifts through gears pushing this monster truck sized vehicle down the road. Some other goodies that have been added under the hood are glow plugs, KDS smart start system control box, and new washer pump with wiper arms and wiper blades. This Humvee has been very tastefully modded and will be a blast to run through your local trails. Or just take it to your local car show and dwarf every car in the parking lot! Options on this 1991 Humvee are AM/FM/Satellite radio w/GPS, power steering, power brakes, vinyl interior, and seat belts.
