Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This baby bird is a total frame off restoration with everything being replaced or rebuilt. This stylish yellow and white T-bird is ready to be shown or enjoyed as a Sunday cruiser. This piece of Ford history was restored in about 10 years ago in Miami Florida and has been garage kept since. One of the most beautiful pieces of Americana, they were considered to be direct competition to the Chevrolet Corvette. Helping spawn a new generation of automobiles in the United States, and aimed to take on the European market, the Ford Thunderbird was powered by a 292 CID V8, which gave the already smaller, lighter car the power it needed to make for both an excellent road racer as well as the perfect car for older couples to sit back and enjoy a movie at the drive-in. The current owner is a collector and has meticulously maintained this baby bird to be kept in amazing condition. The odometer is reading 1,679 which is the miles since the restoration. This car features the period correct and rebuilt 292 wide block V8 engine paired to a redone 3 speed automatic transmission. The yellow and white theme on this car is one of the stylish Thunderbird appearances we have had the honor of listing with Gateway Classic Cars. There is a black soft top as well as the painted white hard top. The white wall tires and chrome wire wheels off set the yellow paint perfectly. This T-bird has sharp two tone black and white vinyl interior with an adjustable steering wheel. The overall condition of the paint and interior is superb. This Ford has many features which make the drive much more enjoyable. Options include; power steering, power windows and seat, vinyl interior, automatic transmission, wire wheels, convertible soft top and removable hardtop, radial white wall tires, A/C but needs a recharge, AM/FM radio, and even a spare tire. If you are a Ford collector or a fan of the mid 50s Thunderbird body style then do not let this one pass you by. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1987 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The 6th generation Cadillac Deville has been meticulously taken care of its whole life!! This time machine is one of a kind and is fully loaded for its time. This car still has the original V8 engine with just under 115k miles. 1987 saw a new front-end design including revised cornering lamps in front and one-piece composite headlamps flanked a trapezoid-shaped grille with a bold egg-crate texture. Elongated fender caps were in back - upping the overall length by an inch and a half, but much more dramatic in appearance with new wrap-around tail lamps. This new 3-sided tail lamp style was inspired by a design used on the 1977 Deville. Unlike the new one-piece headlamps, the changes to the rear-end in 1987 had little to do with engineering, but rather, feedback from Cadillacs customer base who felt the 1985-86 car looked too short. Although the 1987 revamp was still quite like the 1986 model (so much in fact that it still used the previous years deck lid), the design was more in-tune with the look that traditional Cadillac buyers were used to. Although this car had the original engine and interior, the paint was redone to this classic gold looking color. The body is overall in great shape and looks stunning with the newer paint. The Cadillac’s original V8 engine starts right up and idles smooth. The car has just under 115k miles on it with many service records on the Auto Check history report. The 1987 came standard with the 4-speed automatic transmission that is still original in this car and shifting seamlessly. The interior of this car is leather with power seats, windows, and mirrors. Overall great shape inside and out. This car is perfect for any drive way and has plenty of life left in it. Description:

This one off custom built 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 57 Chevy is hands down the most Iconic American ever made. The flowing fins are its classic signature mark and what most people think of when you say 57. They have even been able to stay relevant in the car world for over 60 years. This one off 57 can be simplified in word CLEAN. From the welded and smooth frame underneath to the two-tone paint job up top there is just no better to word to describe it. The car was taking down to bare metal with the only patch being a small one on the floor pan. The body was treated to 2 coats of epoxy primer then a high-build primer that was block sanded with a coat of urethane primer on top of that. The 3 coats of silver were then applied giving the car that great two tone look it has now. Protected by a total of 6 coats of clear giving it a mirror like finish. The billet specialty wheels really set the car off while helping to exaggerate its stance. Under the hood is more top-notch craftsmanship with the core support being the first thing you notice. Hoses have been routed through the fenders giving the engine bay a very clean look. The 383 stroker has been dressed up with a set of custom valve covers and matching breather. The power from that 383 is transferred via a TH350 transmission which shifts out just as it should. The 10 bolt posi rear-end has been filled with a set of 4.11 gears giving this 57-great acceleration. Inside you are surrounded by a custom red interior that has an original feel. Once you get in the vehicle it becomes evident that there have been some custom touches that really put this beauty over the top. The custom dash has been finished off with a set of custom gauges that really set the interior off. With the AC tied into the original controls and vents molded into the dash this must be one of the coolest interiors. If you have been looking for an extremely clean 57 that is a mix of new and old styling look no further. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air include, AC. AM/FM Radio, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this true 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28. In 66 the SCCA started a new series of racing aimed at the new emerging market of the Pony cars. Ford had their Mustangs hopped up by Carroll Shelby and pretty much dominated the series. It would be a different story in 67 with the release of Chevys Camaro. In order to play by the Trans Am rules Chevy had designed a completely new motor, the 302. A high revving small block that had plenty of horsepower it would turn out to be one of the most iconic engines to ever come out of GM. Due to these high RPMs the motors were prone to blowing up. Unlike today rev limiters were not around so a missed shift could spell disaster. This Z/28 has had an amazing life. Owned by only 3 people the car is very original. As with many of these the block, crank, and pistons were all replaced under warranty. The original owner sold the car shortly thereafter to the second owner who in 1979 took the car a part to begin a restoration. Life happened and the car sat until 2014 when the current owner purchased the car He went through the car completely from freshening up the heads while giving it a valve job right down to fixing all and any rust issues. Painted back to its original green with white racing stripes it is factory correct. During the process all bright work was polished out back to its original luster. New OEM emblems were placed on the car getting back to factory. All of the glass is original but all of the rubber seals were no good so a whole set was ordered and installed making this Camaro seal up nicely. The motor was pulled and taken apart with the heads shipped off to Dixon racing. They placed new valve springs, seals, and one intake valve making them good as new. The block was cleaned and checked for wear while the crank was polished. New bearings, cam and rods were all installed with a new set of rings making this a complete rebuild. The double roller timing chain and oil pump were both replaced just for good measure. The clutch wasnt quite up to par so a whole new assembly was installed. The original Muncie Close Ratio 4 speed was all checked out while the 12 bolt posi rear end completes this drive train. The interior is all original to this car and shows excellent with no major signs of wear it is hard to believe its almost 50 years old. Courtesy of the RS option are the iconic hideaway headlights that actually work. The whole system was replaced and is now in excellent working condition. With the pony wars back in full force the original Trans am racers are going for huge money. Though this one has a factory replaced block everything else is correct on the car and with this one being Z/28 RS car the value is sure to do nothing but increase. Options for this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS include; AM, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This one of a kind 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this beautiful 1968 Dodge Charger. The Charger is well known for its role in “The Dukes of Hazzard”. The only thing this car has ever been 2nd place to was Daisy Duke herself, but that is understandable. This car is full of power and runs on a stout 426 CID V8 Hemi which only has roughly 5,000 miles on it since the rebuild. This engine enjoys the company of a 727 TorqueFlite transmission. This car is in great condition and ready for a new owner to rip up the roads. The red paint on this car is adequate for a daily runner or even your local car meets. The black vinyl top is in great condition and doesn’t even seem to have much age to it. You’ll notice the nice addition to the Punisher logo on the rear in place of the Hemi decal. This is simply to let those other cars out on the road know this monster means business. The car sits on a very clean set of Rushforth wheels with plenty of stopping power with the disc brakes locking onto all four wheels. The tires have plenty of tread life left in them and ready to leave some of that rubber on the road. The interior on the car is in good condition, you’ll also notice the gauge cluster is nicely customized with carbon fiber backing. The door panels and headliner are in great shape and still maintain tight stitching throughout the seams. Some additional features on this beautiful classic include, custom wheels, power brakes, power steering, leather interior, and performance tires. Description:

One of the most iconic Mopar muscle cars of all time is the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner in Vitamin C Orange. This car was originally built at the Lynch Road assembly plant in Detroit with a scheduled production date of April 26, 1969. Making it a 1969 ½ and one of 422 that were built with the 440-6bbl as well as an A833 4-Speed manual transmission. Do not let the cartoon bird on the car’s body panels fool you, this car means business and is not to be taken lightly. If cars could tell tales we are more than certain that any car that dared line up next to this one was sure to see a set of tail lights through its windshield in no time! The factory steel long quarter panels are ripple-free and still showcase that neat slash of relief along the upper edge. Panel gaps are good, and the monstrous hood scoop sits in the middle of a satin black hood designed to emulate the mighty A-12 cars that terrorized drag strips in late 1969. The interior is quite stock and while it emulates a no-frills attitude, the bench seat has a very handsome look. Theres a 4-speed shifter sticking out of the floor so theres no weight-adding console to slow you down and its topped with a proper pistol-grip handle! The factory gauges include an in-dash tachometer and work just as great as they work and serve almost as a glimpse into a time machine. What truly sets this Road Runner apart from other cars of its time is the numbers matching 440 cubic inch V8 punching out 390 horsepower. Topping off that power plant is the much sought after six pack. Inhaling through that giant scoop, the bright Hemi Orange torque factory looks ready for show and still retains the factory look. The 4-speed manual transmission feeds a bulletproof Dana 60 rear end, which houses a set of 4:00 gears. You can view this 1969 ½ Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/361/1969-Plymouth-Road-Runner

Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a creampuff 1957 Ford Thunderbird. When discussing this car, two things stand out immediately. First is the name Bob Pittman. Hailing from Nashville, TN, Mr. Pittman is renowned for his restorations of the Baby Birds, and this Porsche Red is an outstanding example of his handy work. Piggybacking on that name is every car fan’s favorite two words: rotisserie restoration. Add the two together, and you find yourself at this marvelous machine you see before you. Before this build was begun, a car with very specific options was selected from California. This car was factory equipped with the 312 CID V8 making 245hp, the 3 speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, power windows, power seat, power steering, power brakes, and the AM/FM radio. But of course, finding the right car is only half the battle. Reading this build list, there is one word that makes a very frequent appearance: new. Nearly every part you can think of is new or rebuilt as such. Yes, even that part. If requested, a list of these parts can be provided. As mentioned earlier, this is not an original Ford color. Instead, the decision was made to paint this car in a shade of red used by Porsche. Additionally, a custom taupe leather interior was chosen to set this T-Bird apart from the crowd. This is a decision some may question, until they see the car in person and realize what a massive difference this little change can make in the car’s presence. With the top off this Thunderbird will take your breath away. As said before, there is simply too much to list on a car this well built. A comprehensive list of the restoration, as well as progress pictures can be made available upon request. To receive this information, and to view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Ft Lauderdale is proud to offer this 1965 AC Cobra Replica which is titled as a 1986 ASVE Cobra Replica. The Shelby Cobra was such an iconic car that plenty of replica companies started reproducing them, but they are not created equal. No one will argue about the performance and build quality of this particular vehicle. All Cobras are special beasts, but this build is a little more unique than the others. Consequently, Its been said that this AC Cobra is “Real replica i.e. a “street version without the roll cage which is very rare. This Cobra makes the power to tackle any application from cruising the strip to track day setups. Under the hood is a healthy Real 427 Big Block Engine with dual four barrel Holley carbs estimated at 500hp that rumbles to life and bells out a menacing note through the side pipes. Furthermore, this AC Cobra also features solid tubular frame giving it much more strength and rigidity in the car than most other vehicles on the market. Other options include seat belts, 4 wheel disc brakes, Jaguar E-Type front and rear independent suspension, radial tires and aluminum/alloy wheels. Description:

We offer this 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. If you want to stand on the top of the pile, then a Boss 351 sits at highest point for the blue oval. How could a 351ci V-8 of 1971 grab bragging rights over the likes of 428 Cobra Jets and Boss 429s of the ’68-’70 muscle car era? In the pantheon of early Ford Mustangs, muscle car cognoscenti place the ’71 Boss 351 at the pinnacle for e.t.’s through the quarter-mile. The various “Fifty Fastest” muscle car lists. Most lists placed the Boss 351 at the top of the e.t. ladder of any first-generation Mustang. The consensus of opinion is the Boss 351 was superior to all other first-generation Mustangs in the quarter-mile. What made a Boss 351 so powerful compared to bigger-cube V-8s in the Ford arsenal? “The torque of a big-block with the revving ability of a Boss 302.” Another plus for the Boss 351 was the absence of a power-robbing Thermactor smog system. Those Cobra Jet 428s and Boss 429s, not to mention the smaller-cubed Boss 302s (not even close to a Boss 351 in the quarter-mile), each came with a Thermactor smog pump and hoses. And then there’s the carburetion. The Boss 351 ran an Autolite with a spread bore configuration, while Boss 429s and Cobra Jet 428s utilized Holley four-barrel carburetors. Also, the 735-cfm Holley used on the Boss 429 wasn’t the best-flowing carburetor for the quarter-mile, as the engine was designed and tuned for NASCAR racing. The much smaller Boss 302 came with a 780-cfm Holley, great for high rpm on a road racing course but not for street driving or drag racing. The Autolite brand did not inspire much awe in the old days. But those carburetors did work great. And in the restoration era, the Autolite has become a valuable treasure..In a manner of speaking, the Boss 351 is, “The best of everything.” This Boss 351 just looks so much like a muscle car. Options include: Bias Ply Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, AM/FM radio. Rally Wheels, Vinyl interior, Tilt Wheel, and seat belts.
