Description:

This 1947 Willy’s Army Replica Jeep is for sale in our Louisville KY. The Willy’s Jeep has been around since late 1940 delivered to the Army right before we entered WWII. They were an instant hit with service men and all they could talk about when they got home. Willy’s was way ahead of them with CJ2 with the CJ standing for Civilian Jeep. This 1947 CJ2 was built to replicate the original MB with a ton of time and money to make it as close to the real thing as possible. The green paint is exactly what you would expect with its flat look and covering everything in sight. The inline 4 was rebuilt and just like the original it runs like a clock. Of course, the 4-wheel drive works like a dream I mean it is a Jeep. Now for the fun stuff on this Army replica. First thing you notice is that huge 50 CAL gun that sits between the two seats. It has been fitted with a gas firing system much like the movies use. If you look down from the 50 you will notice 2 grenades that have been deactivated. IN the back you will notice a very correct CB radio that does work adding to the authenticity of this Army Jeep. The collapsible windshield has the classic Tommy Gun tucked away since there was no such thing as 2 many guns. With the popularity and interest in WWII memorabilia ion the rise this Jeep is sure to become the prized piece of someone’s collection. Options on this 1947 Willys Army Replica include, Bias Ply Tires and Steel Wheels To view this 1947 Jeep Willy’s including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is exhilarated to offer this black-on-black 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR with the meanest stance you will ever see for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. The ‘KR’ stands for ‘King of the Road’ and first appeared in 1968. Ford paid a fitting tribute to this Shelby GT500KR by releasing a special-edition 40th anniversary version in 2008. Over 1000 cars were sold that year, but demand was so great that Ford green-lighted a second year of production; our Shelby GT500KR is one of 712 produced in 2009. Under the carbon-fiber composite hood of this King of the Road is a thumping 5.4l supercharged 32-valve V8 engine with just over 6000 original miles on it. Those low, low miles come fully documented with the original bill of sale and receipts for work that has been done to the car throughout its ownership history. Our 2009 Mustang Shelby GT500KR comes with plenty of creature comforts such as an AM/FM radio, 6-disc CD player with a Shaker sound system, cruise control, power windows/locks/mirrors and driver’s seat, anti-lock brakes with an air induction kit and traction control. Just imagine yourself in the leather sports seats embroidered with Caroll Shelby’s signature listening to the bark from the brushed stainless exhaust pipes, the moan from the cold-air intake and the whine from the supercharger in your ears as you plant your right foot firmly on the gas pedal and blast through the gears of the 6-speed, short-throw manual transmission. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own this mighty, modern muscle car by contacting our Scottsdale showroom today at (623) 900-4884 or scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information on this 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR for sale or to schedule an appointment to view the vehicle in person

Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this sleek 1934 Ford Phaeton. 1934 was the year of Flash Gordan Comics, Naming the baseball, and the production of Ford Phaetons. This beautiful 34 Ford Phaeton came from NASCAR driver Dick Carters private collection. The car is from Arizona and has been restored into this beautiful Street Rod. Powered by a Chevrolet 327 CID V8 tied to a Holley Single 4 Barrel she can go without much of a struggle! The engine has been paired up to a TH350 Automatic transmission, so cruising is the beauty is simple. Something cool about the car is that the frame is believed to be original from 1934! Of course, it has been boxed and strengthened to withstand the years to come. The suspension has been kept like what it would have been when this car was built from the factory. The front suspension is set up with a transverse leaf spring, with standard leaf springs in the rear. The power of the Phaeton is transferred through the 10-bolt rear end which features 3:10 gearing. The brake system was updated as well with discs on front while leaving drums in the rear. Other added components include: Uni-lite distributor, new master cylinder, third brake light, and coated exhaust manifolds. The dual exhaust is a bonus to the car giving it a nice town which will get a few heads turned your way. Painted in a beautiful 2-tone red and black this car truly is something worth taking a 2nd look at. The running boards of the car are steel, while the fenders are fiberglass. The top is a beautiful beige color and can be kept on or removed for those beautiful summer events. Complimenting the beige top is the 15 spoked wheels that are in great condition. One thing you certainly wont forget about this car is the beautifully large chrome grille, with the nicely added dog statue. Upon entering this cool classic, you will notice this car features the unique suicide doors. What is crazy is that many people dont know why they are called “suicide doors. The reason is simple, if the door were to swing open while driving and you reach to catch it, the wind and force would pull you from the vehicle essentially committing “suicide. By no means am I saying this will happen in this car, its merely where the term came from. The interior features new gauges, tilt column, period correct leather interior that is in good condition, and a spacious back seat for the family. Description:

For sale in our Nashville TN showroom is a rare 1970 Dodge Super bee. This Dodge super bee in our Nashville TN showroom is 1 of 11 ever built! Take a second and really let that sink in. With only 11 ever built how many could possibly be left. And how many of them are still in showroom quality. This particular 1970 Dodge Super bee has been well taken care of and loved for many years. It belongs to an avid MOPAR lover and collector. This Super bee is as tough as it looks, equipped with a beefy 383 cubic inch Chrysler engine and the virtually indestructible Torqueflight 727 transmission. The green go paint still has plenty of shine and life left in it. The interior has the ultra comfy tall back bucket seats wrapped in premium black vinyl. The original Dodge Super Bee was based on the Dodge Coronet two-door coupe, and was produced from 1968 until 1970. It was Dodges low-priced powerful muscle car and a rebadged version of the Plymouth Road Runner. The origin of the name, Super Bee, has its basis in the B Body designation pertinent to Chryslers mid-sized cars, including the Road Runner and Charger. In addition to minor external differences, such as larger rear wheel openings, the bumblebee tailstripe and fancier grille, and the taillight ornamentation, the Super Bee also used actual diecast chrome-plated Bee medallions. These three-dimensional medallions were prominently mounted in a raised position in the grille/hood area and the trunklid/taillight area of the car throughout the first three years of production. If you want a car that stands apart from the competition this is the car to have. OPTIONS INCLUDE: AM/FM radio, CD player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, Aluminum alloy wheels For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at Nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

John Speed Cobra was shipped from South Africa and was built to look like the vintage race car that of the day! The AC Cobra was the brain child of Carroll Shelby, a legendary race car driver of his day, and always dreamed of the day where he could build sports cars. In the early sixties, the perfect opportunity arose. Carroll Shelby saw the potential in this sleek lined sports car and the rest is history. Due to limited production numbers, most people could not afford to purchase the real deal or even find one for that matter, so a few manufacturers decided to create replicas that look like the real deal for a fraction of the price. This stunning version of a 1967 Cobra was built in 2005 and features a 351 that was built up and punched out to a 393 CID V8 that packs a serious punch. Slotted and crossed drilled disc brakes on all four corners. Independent rear suspension. Hooked up behind the engine is a Tremec 5-Speed transmission that allows excellent drivability and fun! With static cling decals that can be removed without harming the paint. This car was purchased, built, and maintained by the same owner for the last 12 years and only 3,265 miles have been put on it since it was built. When you jump inside, you will feel like you have been transported back to the sixties and are about to set off on the race of your life. The flat dash with simplistic gauge layout allows the drive to carefully monitor what is happening with the car as you are cruising. Once you get out on the open road and start shifting through the gears you will be blown away by the sheer power and agility of a car that was developed and raced 50 years ago. It is an absolute thrill to drive and assures there will never be a dull moment when behind the wheel. This Cobra runs and drives great and is ready to go to a new home where it will be truly loved and enjoyed! If you have always wanted to own a Cobra, take a closer look at this one and start living your dream. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1967 Cobra in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
