Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this Steel City Grey 1972 Chevrolet Corvette. This chrome-bumpered beast is equipped with the original 270HP 454 CID LS5 V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission which has not been verified as matching but believed to be. One of only 3913 units that were ordered in 1972 with the 454, this one is a solid example of a well-kept survivor. Twist the key, and the big original 454 fires to life, spitting the spent hydrocarbons out dual exhaust with a nasty snarl. Once it settles into its rumbling idle and its pilot takes control of things, the view over the top of that Big Block hood becomes so intoxicating that one may not be able stop driving it until it is time to fill the tank. And, on really nice days, take the T-Tops off and enjoy the open air as you cruise around to constant thumbs-ups from other drivers. This 1972 Corvette for sale has a black interior, with carpeting and panels being in good shape, along with its black leather seats. Options include: Air Conditioning (doesnt blow cold), AM/FM radio with cassette, leather seats, power brakes, power windows, power steering, seat belts, raised white letter radial tires, Tilt Wheel, and T-Tops. Description:

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is the famous, concours restored, Ford Mustang Boss 429! In 1970 Ford produced just 499 of these to compete with Chryslers 426 Hemi in the NASCAR circuit. These engines were severely underrated at 375 horsepower. Some sources say actual horsepower was far and beyond 500, in fact this car was actually put on a dyno during restoration and is rated at 590! In order to fit this engine in the Mustang, Ford contracted out the work to Kar Kraft in Brighton, MI to complete the heavy modifications. This Boss 9 has been restored to the condition it would have come out of the factory in 70 by the famous Kevin Manley. The cars original colors have been retained: Grabber Blue on the outside, and a beautiful White vinyl interior. Where Mach 1s and Shelbys are typically adorned with striping, the Boss 429 has a much more subtle exterior scheme. Mono-tone paint and simple Boss 429 lettering on the fender make the car a bit of a sleeper. Take a peek at the undercarriage and it is clear no expense was spared when refurbishing the vehicle. The underside is smoothly painted and shows zero evidence of road time. Every nut, bolt, and panel has been professionally refinished, rebuilt, or replaced back to the original specifications. Every paint marking and decal that Kar Kraft put on the Boss 9 during the original build was put back in place. Hop inside and the interior looks and feels like brand new. The wood grain dashboard and large analogue clock certainly scream 1970, but the 4 speed shifter and full instrumentation scream race car. The Boss 9 was the top of the line Mustang so of course it came well equipped. A Boss 429 is on any Mustang collectors list. This is a stunning concours example of the breed, and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. To view the 1970 Boss 429 in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one gorgeous American classic: a 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Cadillac has always been the pinnacle of American luxury, but 1960 may have been Cadillacs pinnacle of American design. This massive two door sedan features a chrome grill dressed with jewel-like teeth spanning the front between dual headlamps on each side. The chrome trim is liberally applied from front to back including trim along the hood, each side, and topping each fin. Perhaps the most recognizable American design feature: the fin, made its debut in 1948 by Cadillac. The fins stuck around and hit their peak of style in 1960. Projecting from each rear tailfin is a set of two bullet shaped tail lights. These lights have been used by hot rodders and custom motorcycle builders for their unique yet recognizable look. This particular 60 Coupe DeVille is dressed in PPG Deep Red with all the chrome trim in great condition. It sits on the proper wide white wall tires which scream the Americana. In the era of suburban sprawl and expansion in America, everyone wanted a large sedan with a comfortable ride and plenty of room to pile the family into the bench seat interior. With gasoline selling for $0.30/gallon in 1960, its no surprise this luxury sedan comes with a 390 CID V8 under the hood which outputs a reasonable 325 HP. This was backed by Cadillacs 4 speed automatic transmission which made for a smooth and effortless ride. You can pilot this land yacht with one finger on the wheel and cruise all day at 65 mph without a care in the world. The interior is large and comfortable featuring black and red two tone upholstery which is like sitting on your living room sofa. The car is equipped with Factory AC, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, and power front seat. This Caddy would make a great boulevard cruiser to go check out the town on a Friday night. Can you imagine loading up 6 of your closest friends and setting out on a weekend road trip in this gem? Head to the beach, go to a car show, head to your favorite teams sporting event, heck drive this bad boy to Vegas if you want. To see this stunning 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille in greater detail, stop by our St. Louis showroom, or visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call 817-310-9400 or email Dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com with any questions.

Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is motoring manliness personified: the 1966 Shelby Cobra. This is a West Coast Inc. kit, formerly West Coast Cobras. This kit had one main focus: safety. Unlike most kit cars that use a ladder style frame, this kit utilizes a full road racing type frame. The benefits of this are twofold. First, this Cobra will keep you well protected from side impacts with a 4 side beam system giving strength to the side of the vehicle. Secondly, this strengthened chassis will give the vehicle much greater torsional rigidity. By reducing flex in the frame, the West Coast Cobra kit can use softer springs than most kits, improving ride quality greatly. The West Coast kit is also longer and wider than most kits. In addition to providing a larger wheelbase for better handling and large wheel and tire packages, this also allows for a more spacious cockpit. Riders over 6 feet tall still fit comfortably in this roadster. The wider size also extends the rear wheel wells giving this Cobra some very curvy hips. The spacious interior also features vintage racing style leather seats, an Alpine radio with AM/FM/USB/AUX inputs and Polk Audio speakers, and a heater. Adding to driving comfort and safety is power steering and power brakes. Bringing the power is a 514 CID V8, with 11:1 compression, 2 Holley 9776 carburetors, MSD ignition, and a 9 quart rear sump pan with a Mellings rear pickup pump. An aluminum radiator with 2 fans and a shroud keeps everything cool. A Richmond 5-Speed manual transfers power to a Ford 9 rear end with 3.70 gears. Originally built in 1991 in Wisconsin, the vehicle was partially rebuilt in 2010, including the new motor, and has accompanying receipts. This is a fantastic Cobra kit that was made to drive. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
