Description:

If you want a low-mile, stock 25th Anniversary Vette, they can be found on the market and are passed through the hands of bonafide collectors, rarely driven and mostly preserved to show off at car shows. However, if you simply like the pedigree and the awesome two-tone paint scheme (and who could blame you?) and dont want to spend a fortune to own one of the zero-mile examples, perhaps this one deserves a closer look. More so, if you think the stock examples are just a little too boring, then the way that this restomod kicks things up a notch might be right up your alley. Powered by a strong 383 Stroker V8 and augmented with some killer body accents, this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod is not your fathers 25th Anniversary Edition. This C3 actually looks better than most 78 Anniversary Corvettes thanks to a repaint that is nicer than anything that rolled out of Bowling Green in 1978, and the way that it lays over the body kit and Stinger hood turns this car up to 11. Instead of the original enamel, its a more modern material that shines up beautifully and the various bits and pieces all match quite well. They replicated the two-tone silver over gray combination exactly, and the various pinstripes that highlight the C3s dramatic shape are well applied. The Anniversary Vettes introduced many styling upgrades that would continue to the end of C3 production, including the deep chin spoiler, the fastback roofline, and ducktail spoiler, and many would consider this the pinnacle of style. All of the accents are much more dramatic with the sporty body kit, the Stinger hood, and the rear and side louvers on the back window. Its held up quite well since the build with only minor signs of use and none of the usual Corvette issues are apparent: no cracking or checking and the panels line up quite well. Proper badges and emblems were reinstalled following the repaint, but even that was taken a bit further with the stripe on the hood that was buried underneath the clearcoat, and the 383 Stroker badge on either side of the stinger. This is one mean Corvette. Open the doors and take in the quality of the Medium Red leather upholstery. Inside the middle console, theres a shifter for the automatic transmission living between the seats, and like most Anniversary cars, its loaded with options: power windows and locks, and a tilt/telescope wheel. Aside from the Retro-Sound AM/FM/AUX stereo in the dash and carbon fiber inlays around the gauge bezels, its large stock. The red leather is wrapped around the steering wheel and with the lift-off T-tops, you can experience open-air motoring thats the next greatest thing to a convertible, and they store neatly in the cargo bay behind the front seats. And speaking of the cargo bay, thanks to that fastback window, theres a decent amount of storage space for a long road trip. The top engine in 1978 was the 350 cubic inch L82, which was rated at a respectable 220 horsepower, but that simply wasnt enough for the builder of this C3 so a thumping 383 Stroker V8 was swapped in to match the flash of the exterior. With chromed components throughout, including the Chevrolet air cleaner and Erson valve covers, its easy to spot, and the Holley 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold underneath, along with the HEI system, are part of the horsepower-building equipment list. Long-tube headers feed a dual exhaust system with factory-style mufflers and provide a deep, muscle car tone, and the engine is backed with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, so its a blast to drive for just about anyone. Power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes enhance the driving experience, as do all the fresh suspension parts that have been added, including new leaf springs and Bilstein shocks. Gorgeous chrome REV wheels add to the flash and wear fat 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A white-letter radials to finish the killer look. This one has been upgraded in all the right places to make it truly one-of-a-kind.To view this 1967 Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and video, find us online at www.GatewayClassicCars .com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. The Volkswagen Beetle was a runaway sales success for Volkswagen - with over a 23 million sold. VW expanded on this success with a personalized, pricier coupe styled by Italys Carrozzeria Ghia. The car was an instant classic with svelte styling that attracted style conscious buyers in a way the Beetle never could. This 1964 Karmann Ghia is a rust-free, great driving example. It’s been considerably upgraded. Power is now provided by a ‘hi-po’ 1968cc flat four. This little thing MOVES. No “adequate” economically focused, air-cooled, VW power here. This Karmann Ghia screams thanks to the four-into-one racing header and stinger pipe. Everyone will hear you coming and going. When it’s time to reign in the speed, this car brakes with confidence, thanks to four-wheel disk brakes. The Coral paint will turn heads when you zip by, and the custom Burgundy and diamond patterned interior will garner thumbs up when others peep inside. The car handles and rides great thanks to adjustable springs and shocks up front. Additionally, the car has updated 12-volt electric system and higher 3rd and 4th gear for great highway cruising. This 1964 Karmann Ghia is real rocket. An Italian styled VW with the performance of a Porsche! This 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia listed by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS396. This El Camino has a lot going for it so kick off your shoes and get comfortable. OK, this flat black wrapped El Comino is really painted a dark grey under the vinyl and this was used to produce the wide strip up the hood and it looks great! But this El Camino is more than just a pretty face as is evident by the SS396 badging. Under the hood is a very tidy place for this El Camino and sitting there waiting for a twist of the key is 396 cubic inch Big Block or as we called him when I was young, a Rat! With an Edlebrock intake and Holley 750 CFM Carb to help it gulp down huge amounts of air and fuel MSD lights the fire and Hooker headers to help it exhale the fumes this Big block is ready to rumble. Backing this torque producing monster is a turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission. This El Camino has been well thought out not a corner was cut everywhere you look you see quality upgrades like 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled rotors Flowmaster mufflers etc. Now I know you have been through all the photos of this car and have been able to see the quality of this car/truck but trust me, it is better in person. It just occurred to me that an El Camino is kind of like a backwards mullet, you know, party up front and business in the back. Options for this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS396 include: Air conditioning (some parts missing) AM/FM radio, Spare tire, Power steering and brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Seat belts, Radial tires, Racing rims and Posi traction. At the time of its release into the US market, the 280ZX Turbo was the fastest Japanese import on the American market. Nissan gave the 280ZX a facelift in 1982, with revised NACA ducting in the hood, new alloy wheels, fifteen inch four-spoke alloys for turbo models, a revised B-pillar garnish, new pin-stripe style tail-lights, and rubber bumper over-riders replaced the earlier models chrome and rubber items. The bumpers were now also body coloured and wrapped around further. Interior changes were minor but included new seat trim styling. The 1982 model also was the first to offer the popular voice warning system, which warned the driver when the headlights were left on after the vehicle was turned off, if the parking brake was on while the vehicle was in motion, and many others. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1965 Ford Factory Five Cobra replica race car at its Milwaukee Showroom location. Almost no expense was spared using all new components in the building of this streetable racer. Power comes from a V8 Ford 347 crate engine with aluminum heads and modern custom fuel injection. The exhaust is exited through Factory Five ceramic coated headers and open side pipes. The power is shifted via the Tremec 5 speed transmission with McCloud bellhousing and Ford performance clutch through a Ford 8.8 rear differential. Stopping this speedster is done with ducted front and rear disc brakes and 17 chrome alloy wheels with Sumitomo radials. The driver is held in place by aluminum Kirkey Racing bucket seats with black cloth coverings and a Schroth 5 point harness system. A trunk mounted battery and fire suppression system helps to even the weight distribution on this Cobra racer. The fiberglass body fits like a glove and the Cherry red paint scheme with white racing stripes makes others take notice. A full compliment of gauges keeps the driver aware of what is happening under the hood. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is proud to present this 1984 Chevrolet C10 Silverado pickup. If youre looking for a show stopper that will garner attention at shows and turn heads out on the road, then keep reading! Many individuals and owners alike do not realize these square-bodied real pickups were actually dubbed the “Rounded Line by enthusiasts and collectors. New styling features for these third-generation pickups included curved glass, rooflines, bed corners and taillights, which contributed to improved highway fuel mileage. This Chevy, however, is far from stock, with a long list of custom additions that set is apart from everything else on the road. With so many unique features, it is hard to find a place to begin, but one of the more wild parts of the truck is the Mango Tango colored paint. Other modifications to the classic Chevy body lines that compliment the extreme paint job are the custom rear roll pan and painted front bumper that give the truck a smooth and clean appearance. Up front, the truck sports an aftermarket grille, LED headlights, and beneath the hood sits a monstrous 6.0 L LS V8 with just over 5,000 miles! With a custom-built exhaust system that exits below that cab, this Chevy makes all the right noises when you hit the gas, and people will definitely hear you before they see you! The truck is still very easy to drive, with power brakes, power steering, and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The power is transferred to the ground via a custom 10-bolt posi rear end loaded with 3.73 gears. As if the paint wasnt catchy enough, the truck also sits on a set of 20-inch Boss wheels, that give the truck a killer stance! The interior is just as stunning and luxurious at the exterior, with comfortable leather seats that are divided by a center console, new carpet, new headliner, and Dakota digital gauges to monitor engine functions. Other options on the truck include: Air Conditioning, CD player, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, power windows, power locks, seat belts, leather interior, and aluminum/alloy wheels.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1971 Chevrolet El Camino. The concept of a two-door vehicle based on a passenger car chassis with a tray at the rear began in the United States in the 1920s with the roadster utility (also called roadster pickup or light delivery) models. Although based on corresponding General Motors car lines, the vehicle is classified in the United States as a pickup. The Chevrolet El Camino is a coupé utility vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet between 1959–60 and 1964–1987. Unlike a standard pickup truck, the El Camino was adapted from the standard two-door Chevrolet station wagon platform and integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. Introduced in the 1959 model year in response to the success of the Ford Ranchero coupé utility, its first run, based on the Biscaynes B-body, lasted only two years. Production resumed for the 1964–1977 model years based on the Chevelle platform and continued for the 1978–1987 model years based on the GM G-body platform. Chevrolet introduced a longer El Camino in 1968, based on the Chevelle station wagon/four-door sedan wheelbase (116 in (2,946 mm), overall length: 208 in (5,283 mm)); it also shared Chevelle Malibu exterior and interior trims. The interior was revamped including cloth and vinyl or all-vinyl bench seats and deep twist carpeting. The 1971 El Camino got fresh front-end styling (again shared with the Chevelle) that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. For 1971, mandated lower-octane unleaded fuel necessitated a reduction in engine compression, and GMs A.I.R. system, a smog pump, was added to control tailpipe emissions. Powering this El Camino is a 350 Cubic Inch V8 backed by a Automatic Transmission. Options on this 1971 Chevrolet El Camino include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Bluetooth, Anti-Theft System, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Air Ride Suspension in the Rear.

The front end was restyled for 1979, which also marked the 10th anniversary of the Trans Am.
