Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a rare 1961 fuel injected Chevrolet Corvette. This vehicle went through a frame off restoration around 1985, and is still in excellent condition after all this time. This Fuelie car is equipped with the 315hp 283 CID V8, mated to the T10 4 speed manual and a 4.11 positrac rear end. The block, heads, manifolds, fuel injection unit, transmission, and rear end are all date correct, but it is uncertain what parts are numbers matching. The Honduras Maroon paint is in good driver condition overall. The glass in the doors and on the windshield is in great shape. The chrome on the car is in good condition, with no major scratches or blemishes. The rubber molding is also in good condition, with only a few places experiencing cracking or breakage. The interior is again in overall great shape. A few of the painted surfaces have wear spots and chips, but nothing unusual for the age of this restoration. The black leather seats are in great shape with no major cracking or discoloration. The Wonderbar AM radio works, as do all of the lights and signals. The only item on the interior that does not work is the clock. A previous owner was an NCRS member, and was in the process of building the car for flight judging, but other interests took precedence. Pick up where they left off, or simply enjoy having a very special cruiser! To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com/carlist2?src=2&location=DFW. Description:

Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1938 Chevrolet Master Sedan. This complete frame off restoration is one for the record books. This black beast is powers by a rebuilt 350 “Crate” CID V8 ordered through JEGS, and was done by Bruce’s Rod Shop in Spring, TX. There is only 550 miles on this engine since the rebuild so it’s looking to have some additional miles put on it. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic transmission that has been rebuilt, with all new external seals, and gaskets getting replaced to ensure it holds its fluids and make it ready to push through the gears going down the freeway. Some additional items that have been either restored or replaced were the carburetor, intake manifold, throttle kit, fuel pump, water pump, as well as all new belts and pullies. Moving around the car you will notice the exterior paint and trim are in great condition and makes this car worthy of a black-tie event if you choose. The 1-OFF chrome wheels compliments this car very well and have a nice set of Nexen tires paired up with them. Behind those wheels and tires you’ll find new rear leaf springs, front shocks, and rear suspension bushings. This vehicle is nevertheless a smooth ride. There is well over $12,000 worth of mechanical upgrades made to the car to put it where it is today. This doesn’t even include all the time and effort put into the paint, body, and interior of the car. The interior serves its purpose in providing a nice comfortable feel, and spacious as well I might add. The door panels, and bucket seats are a subtle tan vinyl interior with a touch of chrome accents to really make this interior keep you feeling stylish. The dash has a nice set of custom yet classical, gauges to keep you in the era of fun. Directly to the right of the gauges you will find the utmost important item in the car (for those in hot climates, at least): the cold-blowing A/C to keep you from sweating on the way to that black-tie event you’ve been itching to go to. The modern seats that have been installed give you the luxury of modern day comfort while still looking cool in a classic. This interior is without a doubt clean from the carpet to the headliner and truly makes this an all-around solid ride. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/1938/chevrolet/master-coupe-S962.html. For even more information on this 1938 Chevrolet Master Sedan located in our Houston showroom come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the showroom at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:

1970 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA AAR for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda featured in Top Banana/Lemon Twist with black interior. He car is powered by the AAR 340CI/290HP V8 with triple 2-Barrel carburetors back by the optional automatic transmission. The car is one of 2,724 built of which 1,604 were ordered with the automatic. This car is in superb conditon in all respects and fully documented with factory build sheet and photos of components showing date code correct matching numbers. It is truly an investment-grade piece of American muscle car history. In 1970, Plymouth entered SCCA Trans-Am racing, contracting with Dan Gurneys All American Racers (AAR) to build and campaign cars to be driven by him and Swede Savage. At that time, SCCA homologation requirements dictated that a manufacturer build a minimum of 2,500 street versions in order to compete. The single-production-year AAR Cuda was special for that purpose, and 2,724 were built, all during a five-week period between March and April 1970.The street-version AAR had a 340cid V-8 topped by three 2-bbl Holley carburetors. The engine was underrated at 290 horsepower at 5,000 rpm. In addition to cylinder heads that were unique to this engine, the block had thicker main webs along with a forged crank and rods. Other special features included an aluminum intake manifold, larger brakes and a rear deck spoiler. A 4-speed manual transmission was standard, a HD 727 Torque Flight was optional. The car was equipped with a 3.55:1 rear axle ratio combined with Sure-Grip, and a 3.91:1 ratio as an option. The AAR suspension included special front and rear sway bars and heavy-duty shock absorbers. Heavy-duty rear leaf springs raised the rear end of the car to make room for the side-exiting exhaust and provided room for Goodyear G60X15 tires at the rear and E60X15 in the front, making the AAR Cuda the first American modern-day production vehicle to come with different-sized tires front to rear.A special textured flat-black finish was applied to the grille, hood, tops of the fenders and upper door edges and tail panel. The hood, proprietary to the AAR, was lightweight fiberglass, had a functional air scoop and contained hood pins holding it closed at the front. Despite lighter-weight hood springs, the hoods typically bowed within weeks of delivery. The exterior had a distinctive strobe stripe graphic running the length of the car ending at the rear with the red, white and blue AAR crest. The stripe itself comprises 75 individual segments of decreasing width. The AAR was priced at $3,966. (Historical information courtesy of Hagerty). This stunning AAR Cuda will be a valuable addition to either MoPar collectors, or to collectors of the unique and special muscle cars offered by all three American manufacturers in the golden age of unfettered high performance cars. This is one to show with pride.

Description:

With only 35,490 original miles on this cool 1977 Cadillac Eldorado. She has recently been painted and repaired. With a new dash and new tires. This is a fantastic fifth generation Cadillac. Powered by a 425 V8, backed by a smooth shifting automatic. The Cadillac Eldorado is a personal luxury car that was manufactured and marketed by Cadillac from 1953 to 2002 over ten generations. The Eldorado was at or near the top of the Cadillac line during early model years. The original 1953 Eldorado convertible and the Eldorado Brougham models of 1957–1960 were the most expensive models that Cadillac offered those years, and the Eldorado was never less than second in price after the Cadillac Series 75 until 1966. Eldorados carried the Fleetwood designation from 1965 through 1972, and was a modern revival of the pre-war Cadillac V-12 and Cadillac V16 roadsters and convertibles. In 1977 the Eldorado received a new grille with a finer crosshatch pattern. The convertible was dropped (although Custom Coach of Lima, Ohio converted a few new 1977 and 1978s Eldorados into coach convertibles using salvaged parts from earlier models). The 8.2L V8 of 1970–76 gave way to a new 7L V8 with 180 HP. For the first time in 1977 all GM E-body cars were front-wheel drive, as the Riviera underwent a two-year hiatus before joining them in 1979. 1977 was Cadillacs 75th Anniversary, and would be one of the biggest years for change in the divisions history. Every single standard car was redesigned, restyled, and reconfigured to meet the demands of the time. Consumers were looking for smaller, more fuel-efficient cars, but didnt want to give up any of the interior room, luxuries, or amenities to which they were accustomed. And Cadillac met those needs. When compared to the 1976 models, the new 1977 Cadillacs were eight to 12 inches shorter overall, and the new bodies were 3.5 inches narrower, but sacrificed virtually nothing when it came to interior space. The average weight reduction per car came in at more than 950 pounds. Computers were used to create designs that would reduce weight while maintaining a strong body, and new lightweight materials were substituted wherever possible. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

The year is 2005, the New England Patriots win 24-21 over the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl XXXIX. And Jeff Gordon wins the 47th Daytona 500 at (135.173 MPH). That same year this Harley Davidson Wide Glide rolls off the assembly line. Now with only 51447 original miles on her she still rides like a new hog. As one of two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression (along with Indian), Harley Davidson has survived numerous ownership arrangements, subsidiary arrangements, periods of poor economic health and product quality, as well as intense global competition to become one of the worlds largest motorcycle manufacturers and an iconic brand widely known for its loyal following, with owner clubs and events worldwide as well as a company sponsored brand-focused museum. Noted for a style of customization that gave rise to the chopper motorcycle style, Harley-Davidson traditionally marketed heavyweight, air-cooled cruiser motorcycles with engine displacements greater than 700 cm and has broadened its offerings to include its more contemporary VRSC (2002) and middle-weight Street (2015) platforms. Harley-Davidson manufactures its motorcycles at factories in York, Pennsylvania; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Kansas City, Missouri; Manaus, Brazil; and Bawal, India, and markets its products worldwide. Description:

The Saint Louis Showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this third-generation Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Originally, the Chevrolet Camaro was designed to be a pony/muscle. It first went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The Camaro shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird and Mercury Cougar. This third-generation Camaro was produced from 1981 (for the 1982 model year) to 1992, and were the first Camaros to offer modern fuel injection, 15- or 16-inch wheels, a standard OHV 4-cylinder engine, and hatchback bodies. The cars were nearly 500 pounds lighter than the second-generation model. This particular 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is equipped with Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player, Spare Tire, T-Tops, Cruise Control, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, a Jack, Power Windows, Tilt-Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels.
