Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is honored to present this 1969 ½ Dodge A-12 M-code Super Bee. Lets start off by defining the word rare. Rare by definition means, not found in large numbers or, unusually good or remarkable. Well RARE is the perfect word to explain this A12 M-code Killer Super Bee. With a full restoration performed less than six months ago, this Super Bee is turnkey and ready to go. You may ask yourself what is so unique about this 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee. Im glad you asked. An A12 M-code MoPar car drastically sets itself apart from the typical Muscle Cars. A12 M-code cars were like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of Muscle Cars. They were pure, pumped up, menacing, high-performance vehicles that swarmed at every opportunity to sting the competition that dared to get in its way. A12 cars were offered with a 440 cubic-inch monster motor, adorned with a Six-Pack (three two-barrel carburetors). M-code cars were a special order package that equipped these outstanding cars with a Dana 60 axle with 4:10 gear ratio, heavy-duty automatic and a lift-off flat black scooped hood. The A12 package did not stop there. It also includes heavy-duty internal engine parts, black steel rims with high-performance G-70 15 inch tires, and heavy-duty 11-inch drum brakes. This is a Numbers Matching 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee with all the correct matching components an A12 M-code car is suppose to have as stated above. With only 45,000 documented miles this jewel is a superb investment. You can make this a centerpiece in your collection. There were only 1,487 Super Bee two-door Hardtops built in 1969 for the U.S. market with a 440 six-barrel 390 horsepower engine. Of those, 826 were built with a A833 4-speed manual transmission and 661 constructed with an A727 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. This is one of the 661 A727 automatics. No one truly knows how many of these ultra-rare cars are still in existence, but we know not all of them made it this far. Some found their destiny with the car crusher. Others rotted away in fields, and some are still hiding behind barn doors. This Super Bee was found in Fort Morgan, Colorado like many other Muscle Carssitting in a barn locked away from the public. The car is a true Vitamin C Orange code, offset by black vinyl bucket seat interior. Options include AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Posi Traction. This 1969 ½ Dodge A-12 M-code Super Bee is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a very rare 1950 Lagonda Drop Head Coupe. This car is one of 50 produced and who knows how many survived. Lagonda was an English car company with close relations to Aston Martin. They share the same engine that was used in the Aston Martin DB2. Power comes from a silky smooth 2.6 liter inline 6 cylinder with twin overhead cams. Shifting is unique as it is a 4 speed manual shifted via column shift. Most of us are familiar with the old three on the tree, but a 4 speed on the column? Yes, indeed and it works quite well. The car also utilizes an independent rear suspension with inboard drum brakes to reduce unsprung weight. The front suspension is also independent. The term Drop Head Coupe is European for a convertible in the old days. This four passenger luxury machine has suicide doors and plush leather seats. If this was your daily driver in 1950, you were of importance. While your friends were driving the Peoples Car(VW Beetle) you were cruising in this wild machine. This is the kind of car you would see at the Grand Prix at Silverstone parked next to the ERA garage (English Racing Automobiles), the home racing team. This beautiful example has received a complete and detailed restoration. Dark red paint graces the body while soft tan leather with beautiful wood adorning the rest of the interior. Outside youll notice dual side mirrors mounted on the front fenders and on the doors. There are also dual gas doors, each with lead weights attached to chains to keep the filler doors from opening on their own. Polished stainless steel hinged vent windows offer seamless operability. Turn signals deploy from the side of the car and illuminate. This car exudes class and will be a terrific addition for any serious collector. Dont miss this rare opportunity to own an original Lagonda. Call our St. Louis showroom for additional information or swing by for a close look. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 2009 Audi R8. Audi based the R8 off the Lamborghini Gallardo and put Audi on the map as a high end sports car manufacturer. This mid engine beauty uses a 4.2 Liter V8 which churns out 414 HP. The R8 could be optioned with an R-Tronic paddle shift gearbox, but this one has the highly desirable six speed manual transmission. This transmission makes it a true drivers car and features a unique gated shifter. The transmission transfers power to both the front and rear drive wheels utilizing Audis signature Quattro system. This particular example is finished in a rare factory red with black leather interior. The interior is typical Audi build quality with plenty of technology and creature comforts. This car really is an exotic sports car that can be driven regularly and comfortably. This particular example is hardly broken in with only 11,180 miles on the odometer. It is a two owner vehicle with a clean vehicle history report. You can see this stunning R8 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this AC Cobra Replica, which is titled as a 2014 ASVE Cobra replica. The Shelby Cobra was such an iconic car that plenty of replica companies started reproducing them but they are not all created equal. No one will argue about the performance and build quality of this Everett-Morrison Cobra Replica. All Cobras are special beasts, but this build is a little more unique with its engine and drivetrain. Under the hood is a 460 CID Ford Racing crate motor V8 that rumbles to life and belts out a menacing note through the side pipes. This engine started as a 351 that was bored & stroked with high deck cylinder heads that gives it the 460 CID. The engine dyno’s at 600 HP & 575 foot-lbs of torque. The engine is backed by a five-speed Tremec 600 manual gearbox that leads into a 9-inch ford rear end. Since being built in 2014, this car has just 1,062 miles on it & one owner. To hammer the visual impact of this Cobra home, it is finished with a lustrous burgundy-and-gold paint job with classic cobra aluminum wheels. The car also features a 3790 Stainless alloy tubular frame giving it much more strength & rigidity in the car than most other replicas on the market. It also features 4-wheel independent suspension that gives it a seriously smooth ride compared to other replicas on the market. The car has a rare option for cobras in that is has air conditioning!! The tan leather interior is in fantastic condition and very comfortable.
