Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this 1956 Chevrolet 150 2 Door Post is for sale in our Orlando Florida showroom. Tri-Five Chevys have stood the test of time that all car enthusiasts can appreciate. From movies like American Graffiti to Two Lane Black Top these cars were the scene stealers. This 150 2 Door Post is an older restoration that has been tastefully done and still looks good today. The steel body is all original with only New Old Stock Fender s being used during the restoration. The rust-free body was then painted a beautiful two-tone gray and burgundy combination. A quick look under the car will show a nicely detailed frame, floor pans, brake lines and suspension components that just shows how complete the restoration is. Under the hood is a well-dressed 327 CID V8 engine. The distributor has been upgraded with a Mallory breaker less electronic kit to ensure the gases entering this healthy 327 V8 are efficiently ignited. The 327 also sports polished finned aluminum valve covers for the classic hot rod look of the 50s. The inner fenders, core support, and splash pan have been powdered coated gloss black to keep a clean and durable look for years to come. A stainless-steel dual exhaust system gets rid of the spent gases and sounds good doing it. Keeping the engine cool is an aluminum radiator with a Corvette overflow tank that is both practical and tasteful. Backing the 327 V8 is a Muncie close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. This transmission has been upgraded with a Gear Vendors Overdrive unit which allows this shoebox to run a deeper rear end (3.55 to be exact) gear ratio in the posi-track rear end, but still cruise the highway at lower rpms. The overdrive is electronically controlled with a button on the side of the Hurst shifter. This 56 Chevrolet goes pretty quick, so disc brakes, front/rear sway bars, shock bar, and traction bars have been added to keep this car stable during acceleration and hard stops. Inside this Chevy Shoe Box, the interior is just as nice as the rest of the car. The seats are covered in a combination of vinyl and cloth. The two-tone colors of burgundy and gray match the exterior paint scheme very well. An extra set of gauges has been mounted under the dash to monitor water temp, oil pressure and voltage. A chrome 50s style Sun tachometer sits atop the steering column to keep an eye on the engine rpms while shifting aggressively through the gears. In case you get tired of listening to the sweet sound of the engine, there is a nice AM/FM/CD player for musical diversion. Options on this 1956 Chevrolet 150 2 Door Post include; AC, AM/FM radio, vinyl interior with cloth inserts, seat belts, Chrome Cragar SS Mag Wheels shod with BF Goodrich radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one gorgeous American classic: a 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Cadillac has always been the pinnacle of American luxury, but 1960 may have been Cadillacs pinnacle of American design. This massive two door sedan features a chrome grill dressed with jewel-like teeth spanning the front between dual headlamps on each side. The chrome trim is liberally applied from front to back including trim along the hood, each side, and topping each fin. Perhaps the most recognizable American design feature: the fin, made its debut in 1948 by Cadillac. The fins stuck around and hit their peak of style in 1960. Projecting from each rear tailfin is a set of two bullet shaped tail lights. These lights have been used by hot rodders and custom motorcycle builders for their unique yet recognizable look. This particular 60 Coupe DeVille is dressed in PPG Deep Red with all the chrome trim in great condition. It sits on the proper wide white wall tires which scream the Americana. In the era of suburban sprawl and expansion in America, everyone wanted a large sedan with a comfortable ride and plenty of room to pile the family into the bench seat interior. With gasoline selling for $0.30/gallon in 1960, its no surprise this luxury sedan comes with a 390 CID V8 under the hood which outputs a reasonable 325 HP. This was backed by Cadillacs 4 speed automatic transmission which made for a smooth and effortless ride. You can pilot this land yacht with one finger on the wheel and cruise all day at 65 mph without a care in the world. The interior is large and comfortable featuring black and red two tone upholstery which is like sitting on your living room sofa. The car is equipped with Factory AC, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, and power front seat. This Caddy would make a great boulevard cruiser to go check out the town on a Friday night. Can you imagine loading up 6 of your closest friends and setting out on a weekend road trip in this gem? Head to the beach, go to a car show, head to your favorite teams sporting event, heck drive this bad boy to Vegas if you want. To see this stunning 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille in greater detail, stop by our St. Louis showroom, or visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is motoring manliness personified: the 1966 Shelby Cobra. This is a West Coast Inc. kit, formerly West Coast Cobras. This kit had one main focus: safety. Unlike most kit cars that use a ladder style frame, this kit utilizes a full road racing type frame. The benefits of this are twofold. First, this Cobra will keep you well protected from side impacts with a 4 side beam system giving strength to the side of the vehicle. Secondly, this strengthened chassis will give the vehicle much greater torsional rigidity. By reducing flex in the frame, the West Coast Cobra kit can use softer springs than most kits, improving ride quality greatly. The West Coast kit is also longer and wider than most kits. In addition to providing a larger wheelbase for better handling and large wheel and tire packages, this also allows for a more spacious cockpit. Riders over 6 feet tall still fit comfortably in this roadster. The wider size also extends the rear wheel wells giving this Cobra some very curvy hips. The spacious interior also features vintage racing style leather seats, an Alpine radio with AM/FM/USB/AUX inputs and Polk Audio speakers, and a heater. Adding to driving comfort and safety is power steering and power brakes. Bringing the power is a 514 CID V8, with 11:1 compression, 2 Holley 9776 carburetors, MSD ignition, and a 9 quart rear sump pan with a Mellings rear pickup pump. An aluminum radiator with 2 fans and a shroud keeps everything cool. A Richmond 5-Speed manual transfers power to a Ford 9 rear end with 3.70 gears. Originally built in 1991 in Wisconsin, the vehicle was partially rebuilt in 2010, including the new motor, and has accompanying receipts. This is a fantastic Cobra kit that was made to drive. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
