Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this beautiful 1968 Dodge Charger. The Charger is well known for its role in “The Dukes of Hazzard”. The only thing this car has ever been 2nd place to was Daisy Duke herself, but that is understandable. This car is full of power and runs on a stout 426 CID V8 Hemi which only has roughly 5,000 miles on it since the rebuild. This engine enjoys the company of a 727 TorqueFlite transmission. This car is in great condition and ready for a new owner to rip up the roads. The red paint on this car is adequate for a daily runner or even your local car meets. The black vinyl top is in great condition and doesn’t even seem to have much age to it. You’ll notice the nice addition to the Punisher logo on the rear in place of the Hemi decal. This is simply to let those other cars out on the road know this monster means business. The car sits on a very clean set of Rushforth wheels with plenty of stopping power with the disc brakes locking onto all four wheels. The tires have plenty of tread life left in them and ready to leave some of that rubber on the road. The interior on the car is in good condition, you’ll also notice the gauge cluster is nicely customized with carbon fiber backing. The door panels and headliner are in great shape and still maintain tight stitching throughout the seams. Some additional features on this beautiful classic include, custom wheels, power brakes, power steering, leather interior, and performance tires. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/1968/dodge/charger-S901.html. Description:

One of the most iconic Mopar muscle cars of all time is the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner in Vitamin C Orange. This car was originally built at the Lynch Road assembly plant in Detroit with a scheduled production date of April 26, 1969. Making it a 1969 ½ and one of 422 that were built with the 440-6bbl as well as an A833 4-Speed manual transmission. Do not let the cartoon bird on the car’s body panels fool you, this car means business and is not to be taken lightly. If cars could tell tales we are more than certain that any car that dared line up next to this one was sure to see a set of tail lights through its windshield in no time! The factory steel long quarter panels are ripple-free and still showcase that neat slash of relief along the upper edge. Panel gaps are good, and the monstrous hood scoop sits in the middle of a satin black hood designed to emulate the mighty A-12 cars that terrorized drag strips in late 1969. The interior is quite stock and while it emulates a no-frills attitude, the bench seat has a very handsome look. Theres a 4-speed shifter sticking out of the floor so theres no weight-adding console to slow you down and its topped with a proper pistol-grip handle! The factory gauges include an in-dash tachometer and work just as great as they work and serve almost as a glimpse into a time machine. What truly sets this Road Runner apart from other cars of its time is the numbers matching 440 cubic inch V8 punching out 390 horsepower. Topping off that power plant is the much sought after six pack. Inhaling through that giant scoop, the bright Hemi Orange torque factory looks ready for show and still retains the factory look. The 4-speed manual transmission feeds a bulletproof Dana 60 rear end, which houses a set of 4:00 gears. You can view this 1969 ½ Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/361/1969-Plymouth-Road-Runner

Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a creampuff 1957 Ford Thunderbird. When discussing this car, two things stand out immediately. First is the name Bob Pittman. Hailing from Nashville, TN, Mr. Pittman is renowned for his restorations of the Baby Birds, and this Porsche Red is an outstanding example of his handy work. Piggybacking on that name is every car fan’s favorite two words: rotisserie restoration. Add the two together, and you find yourself at this marvelous machine you see before you. Before this build was begun, a car with very specific options was selected from California. This car was factory equipped with the 312 CID V8 making 245hp, the 3 speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, power windows, power seat, power steering, power brakes, and the AM/FM radio. But of course, finding the right car is only half the battle. Reading this build list, there is one word that makes a very frequent appearance: new. Nearly every part you can think of is new or rebuilt as such. Yes, even that part. If requested, a list of these parts can be provided. As mentioned earlier, this is not an original Ford color. Instead, the decision was made to paint this car in a shade of red used by Porsche. Additionally, a custom taupe leather interior was chosen to set this T-Bird apart from the crowd. This is a decision some may question, until they see the car in person and realize what a massive difference this little change can make in the car’s presence. With the top off this Thunderbird will take your breath away. As said before, there is simply too much to list on a car this well built. A comprehensive list of the restoration, as well as progress pictures can be made available upon request. To receive this information, and to view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1957 Ford Thunderbird, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.

For sale in for Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is AN ALL-STEEL Henry Ford-bodied 1940 Ford Coupe. This one is also the 2007 Hot Rod National Champion, a flaming-hot 1940 Ford Coupe. The 1937-1940 generation of Fords is one of the most popular automobiles for hot rodding. It was also made popular in early stock car racing. 1940 was the last year for the 1937 body style. The following year Ford would put a straight six in its coupes instead of a smaller V8. The exterior of this 1940 ford coupe is in immaculate condition starting with the custom flames paint job. The owner of this coupe sparred no expenses on the paint work. To make this coupe pop it was fitted with 20-inch chrome rims that are wrapped with Toyo Proxes. The interior looks as if no one has sat in it since the restoration was completed. The red ultra-leather doesn’t have a single blemish on it. The dash is completely digital and don’t worry this car has Vintage Air to keep you cold in the summer and warm in the winter. Powering this hot rod is a Windsor 351 that is port fuel injected and an automatic transmission that shifts smooth as butter. It also has a ford 9” read end to keep things running smooth. Description:

We offer this 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. If you want to stand on the top of the pile, then a Boss 351 sits at highest point for the blue oval. How could a 351ci V-8 of 1971 grab bragging rights over the likes of 428 Cobra Jets and Boss 429s of the ’68-’70 muscle car era? In the pantheon of early Ford Mustangs, muscle car cognoscenti place the ’71 Boss 351 at the pinnacle for e.t.’s through the quarter-mile. The various “Fifty Fastest” muscle car lists. Most lists placed the Boss 351 at the top of the e.t. ladder of any first-generation Mustang. The consensus of opinion is the Boss 351 was superior to all other first-generation Mustangs in the quarter-mile. What made a Boss 351 so powerful compared to bigger-cube V-8s in the Ford arsenal? “The torque of a big-block with the revving ability of a Boss 302.” Another plus for the Boss 351 was the absence of a power-robbing Thermactor smog system. Those Cobra Jet 428s and Boss 429s, not to mention the smaller-cubed Boss 302s (not even close to a Boss 351 in the quarter-mile), each came with a Thermactor smog pump and hoses. And then there’s the carburetion. The Boss 351 ran an Autolite with a spread bore configuration, while Boss 429s and Cobra Jet 428s utilized Holley four-barrel carburetors. Also, the 735-cfm Holley used on the Boss 429 wasn’t the best-flowing carburetor for the quarter-mile, as the engine was designed and tuned for NASCAR racing. The much smaller Boss 302 came with a 780-cfm Holley, great for high rpm on a road racing course but not for street driving or drag racing. The Autolite brand did not inspire much awe in the old days. But those carburetors did work great. And in the restoration era, the Autolite has become a valuable treasure..In a manner of speaking, the Boss 351 is, “The best of everything.” This Boss 351 just looks so much like a muscle car. Options include: Bias Ply Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, AM/FM radio. Rally Wheels, Vinyl interior, Tilt Wheel, and seat belts. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this Classic Unrestored 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 429 Super Cobra Jet. With only a little over 37,000 miles on the odometer, this unrestored 1971 Mach 1 is one of the best-preserved examples of the last of the big-block Mustangs. Better yet, this Bright Red Sports Roof car is equipped with the 429 Super Cobra Jet with functional Ram Air, 4-speed manual transmission and 4.11:1 gearing with Detroit Locker differential. For Mustang performance fans, it didnt get any better in 1971. A one-year-only option for the Mustang, the 429 Cobra Jet replaced the previous FE-series 428 Cobra Jet. Based on Fords new 385-series big-block, the new Cobra Jet was rated at 370 HP thanks to larger ports and valves in the new canted-valve heads, 760 CFM Rochester 4-barrel carburetor and 11.3:1 compression. In Ram Air configuration, NACA-style hood scoops fed cooler outside air into the air cleaner. When ordered with the Drag Pack option, the 429 Cobra Jet was transformed into a Super Cobra Jet. The package was based on a choice of a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok or 4.11:1 Detroit Locker differential for improved acceleration, but it also upgraded the big-block engine with a solid-lifter cam and 780 CFM Holley 4-barrel, improving horsepower to 375; it also added bottom-end durability enhancements like cap-screw connecting rods and a modified crankshaft. With Ram Air, the Super Cobra Jet-powered Mach 1 was the ultimate big-block performance Mustang for 1971. Bright Red with a Vermillion interior doesnt hurt either. This Super Cobra Jet Mach 1 is one of the very few left in unrestored condition, right down to the original paint, interior, engine, transmission and rear end. The low-mileage example also retains the original smog system, dual-point distributor and hard-to-find “YA carburetor. Featured in the May 2003 issue of Mustang and Fords magazine, this 4-speed Mach 1 is one of only 531 Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack Fastbacks produced. Highlights of this classic Mustang include: One of 531 Drag Pack Super Cobra Jet Mustangs produced in 1971,Original 429/375 HP engine, Original smog system and dual point distributor, Original close ratio 4-speed transmission, Original 4.11 Detroit Locker rear axle, Power steering, Power brakes with front discs, Mostly original Bright Red paint, Vermillion Clarion-knit interior, Bucket seats and center console, Pushbutton AM radio, Tinted glass, Magnum 500 wheels, Full Marti Report Deluxe This 1971 Ford Mustang 429 Super Cobra Jet is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateways Houston showroom is very proud to present this epic 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca edition. The Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca puts a race-ready version of the new Ford Mustang Boss 302 directly into any enthusiasts hands. Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca builds on the bumper-to-bumper improvements found on the standard Boss while further stiffening the chassis and installing an aerodynamics package carried over almost in its entirety from the Ford Racing Boss 302R. Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca cars are powered by the same smooth, high-winding 440-hp 5.0-liter V8 as the standard Boss, since the engine was already tuned specifically for road racing. Instead, engineers turned their attention toward delivering power to the ground most efficiently, and getting the car around a track in the quickest possible time. Engine power routes through a six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox to a standard 3.73-ratio Torsen limited-slip differential, helping the revised rear suspension deliver maximum torque and traction under the punishing conditions encountered on the track. Higher spring rates and a larger rear stabilizer bar - all upgraded over Boss specifications - help generate unrelenting grip. And drivers can dial in exactly the level of shock stiffness a particular track requires using the four standard, independently adjustable dampers with Laguna Seca-specific valving. Laguna Seca models receive Ford Racing front brake ducts that force outside air directly onto the 14-inch vented front rotors, helping to eliminate brake fade and ensure hard, repeatable late braking on the track. Combined, the braking changes help refine the sense for drivers of being directly connected to the pads - an essential edge during car-to-car combat on a road course. The final touch for a proper race car was to add the proper wheels and tires: Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca models use lightweight 19-inch alloy racing wheels in staggered widths: 9 inches in front, 10 inches in the rear. R-compound ultra-high-performance tires, 255/40ZR-19 in the front, 285/35ZR-19 in the rear, maintain contact with the pavement - a job that ended up being trickier than expected. This 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca mustang is in pristine condition and is basically like new condition. From bumper to bumper the car is very clean and well cared for. This car has some custom upgrades such as a custom Fays2 track suspension fitted to the car by MRT here in Houston. It has a custom shifter with shift kit, a lightweight drive shaft, upgraded Parnelli Jones cold air intake tube & filter, along with a custom hood for the car. The owner has all of the original parts for the car if the new owner wanted to return it all to stock form. This car also features a custom all black job ordered from the factory and is one of one. All of the cars components are in great condition and is still in like new condition. It does not look like the car has been tracked very much or at all. It is a very low mileage car with under 13k miles this thing is barely broken in yet. All options work as they should, and this car is turn key ready for a new home. To see more pictures of this car with an HD video, please follow the link below to the cars page on our website. http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/2012/ford/mustang-S1026.html For more information on this 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 call the Houston Showroom at 832-243-6220 or email houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars is 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. This two-top convertible is powered by the bad to the bone numbers matching L-71 427. The L-71 is fitted with solid lifters, high compression pop up pistons, steel crank, 4 bolt mains and triple Holley two-barrel carburetors. This is an entirely different animal than the 400-horsepower hydraulic lifter 427. Horsepower figures are not far off between the two with the L-71 being rated at 435. GM was notorious for under rating their engines. The 435 horsepower was measured at 5,800 RPM, however this engine makes peak power near 6,000 RPM and true power is closer to 450HP. This beautiful example is painted in Polar White with a Black soft top, Black vinyl covered auxiliary hard top and Black vinyl interior. Other equipment includes, optional Bright Metal Wheel Covers, Power Brakes, AM/FM radio, Red stripe Firestones, 3.70 Posi-Traction, M-21 Close ratio Muncie 4-speed and Transistorized ignition. Included with the sale is the original Tank Sticker! The frame off restoration was completed in 2001 and paint was resprayed one year ago and looks fantastic. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon edition. WOW! This car is so fast that even the color has a fast name, supersonic blue. Chevrolet took the 2010 Z06 with its 505 horsepower 7 liter LS 7 V-8 engine and made it lighter and limited, as only 500 of these were made. Here is your chance to own an incredible car that almost no one has ever heard of. If you are wondering what makes this car even more special than a Z06 well trust me it is not just badging and a couple extra scoops. This 2011 Z06 for sale takes advantage of carbon fiber in key areas to help both lighten the car and allow it better handling. Let’s talk performance, how about 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds? Standing quarter mile in 11.8 @ 123 miles per hour! As for Braking 60 to 0 in 96 feet! So how does it handle you ask? How about 1.03 on a 200 foot skid pad! Ok I know this is Greek or Geek to some of you so in short, Very fast, stops short and handles so well your eye balls will be forced to look at the outside of the curve. But this is not just a brutish muscle car that handles well, inside the cabin you will find refinements like AM/FM stereo with compact disc player to entertain your ears while the navigation system alerts you of your next turn as your finger grip the suede covered steering wheel designed to give you hand the best grip without slipping. The seats have the same treatment to keep your back side from sliding in the chair as you slam through the gears and point the nose at the next apex, well, it always gets back to performance with this one. Options for this 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition for sale include: Air conditioning, Cruise control, Heated leather seats with suede inserts, Power, brakes, steering, locks, windows, and seats, Anti lock brakes, Anti theft system , Tilt and telescopic steering wheel, Traction control you will need this, and a lot more.
