Description:

This 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Grand Prix was first offered in 1962 as a performance oriented replacement for the Ventura. The first model was essentially a hardtop Catalina coupe trimmed to the likes of the Bonneville. This Grand Prix is far from the rest with pristine paint, flashy chrome, showroom clean interior and an engine bay so well taken care of you could eat a steak dinner off of it. Not only does it look mean, it has the power to back up its looks. A factory option for the GP was the highly sought after 421 CID V8 which this beautiful machine has the honor of housing. It runs smoothly with its 4 barrel carb, idles great and has more than enough power to get you screaming down the highway in style. A GM Muncie 4 speed transmission with shifts smoothly and sends the power to its Posi-traction rear end and hits the ground through Pontiacs famous 8 lug wheels. This beauty rolled into the showroom showing 77,500 miles on the odometer. Time has been very kind to this Grand Prixs gloss black paint as well as its chrome trim and bumpers. The interior is as clean, if not cleaner than the exterior. Black vinyl seats look as if they were fresh from the factory with GP logos found throughout the cabin and a factory tachometer sets your mind to ease. This GP is truly a prime example of Pontiac in the 60s. Options include: AM radio w/ reverb, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, vinyl interior, Posi-traction. Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a classic 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolets new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before. Under rapid development, the Thunderbird went from idea to prototype in about a year, being unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. Like the Corvette, the Thunderbird had a two-seat coupe/convertible layout. Production of the Thunderbird began later on in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a faux hood scoop and a 140 mph speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didnt possess. The exterior was professionally painted in a Dusk Rose while the interior is black and white vinyl. The two complement each other very nicely. Under the hood youll find a potent 312 CID V8 engine backed by a 3-spd automatic transmission but youll also find a rare A/C option. The valve covers are the original Thunderbird ribbed covers that scream 50s style. Its probably the first thing youll notice when you open the hood. Under the chrome air cleaner sits on a 4BBL carburetor that the purists will surly love. The infamous porthole hard top is in amazing condition and painted white on this T-Bird. With the hardtop secured into place the road noise diminishes significantly. Other options include: AM radio, manual convertible top, power brakes, vinyl interior, and wide white wall radial tires. This is a classic Thunderbird with a timeless look which bodes well for an investment piece and a fun driver alike. This beautiful glossy black 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air is now available at the Milwaukee Showroom here at Gateway Classic Cars. This gorgeous hot rod is bound to turn heads either with its stunning outer appearance or the aggressive exhaust note sung by the Generation II small block Chevy 350 V8 residing under the hood. This far from stock power plant is bolted to a 4-speed Muncie M21 manual transmission which transfers power back to a Ford 9-inch rear axle fitted with a 4:11 geared ring and pinion. Rare is it to see a car this old that hasnt been butchered 10 ways to Sunday and had all kinds of things to the frame such as installing aftermarket subframes. This one has none of that done. All original style Chevy frame is what is bolstered beneath this iconic looking hot rod. The Bel Air also features a Mustang II front end with a power steering rack and pinion setup making for ease of use while driving this mean machine. The Chevy also features a comfortable cloth interior which sports a grey color that proves to contrast well against the jet-black exterior. Features in the car also include air conditioning, tilt wheel, power brakes, AM/FM radio with cassette, and polished mag wheels wrapped in radial tires. These features ensure that you will ride in comfort while riding in style. This 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this ultra-luxury classic 1954 Bentley R-Type Sedan for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Yes, youll immediately notice the Rolls Royce badges everywhere on this one but if you didnt know already its worth pointing out that Bentley and Rolls Royce were the same company back when this car was sold. The aforementioned have always charged a premium for their hand-built automobiles and this Bentley R-Type was no different with its 1954 MSRP of $10,735- thats over $100,000 in todays dollars and to give a comparison, Chevrolets 1954 Corvette sold for just $2,775 when new. The modern Rolls Royce radiator grille with the unmistakable “Spirit of Ecstasy really sets off this British sedan which already has a very distinctive body style and the two tone Black and Silver paint is opulence personified! These Bentleys had a reputation in the 1950s for providing long distance, high speed, reliable motoring and the 279 CID (4.6l) Straight 6-cylinder motor has a lot to do with that. The 150hp estimated output was more than some American 8-cylinder engines were making back then and was capable of a 120mph top speed too. Shifting the gears on this 4,300lb R-Type is a 4-speed automatic transmission General Motors Hydra-Matic unit straight from Detroit; Rolls/Bentleys first automatic vehicle was this R-Type and they continued using GM transmissions into the 21st century. Let your chauffer open the door for you and check out the beautiful, well-preserved Red leather interior on this Bentley. The 50s were indeed a simpler time for creature comforts, but real wood, leather and a classy period correct dash arrangement reminds you of what youre driving. An automatic choke, rear window defroster, heater controls and an aftermarket radio/CD player added will keep you comfortable wherever youre headed. Driving this R-Type is fun, but the back seat is the place to be if you want to be treated like a King: legroom is ample and wooden fold out tables complete the look. If youre still reading this ad, we know youre in love with this 1954 Bentley R-Type just as much as we are!
