Description:

Our Nashville showroom digitally showcases this Military grade right hand steer 1986 Toyota Land Rover 110 Defender! What a machine, with so many upgrades and parts restored or replaced this is as close to new as you could ask for. Being that the odometer is in kilometers and we here in the USA go by miles let me explain the drive train. The odometer is reading 93,460Km which would equate to 58,073 miles. Now being that it was a military issued vehicle the military at 20,000km does a engine replacement which now puts us into a new area. With that said this drive train only has 39,432 miles on it. Geezz that a lot of math but when looking at it this way she has very low miles. Here is the list of replacements prior to coming across the pond to the states. Door posts, foot wells, windshield and mirrors, new soft top and seats, new tires and brakes stripped to the bone and rebuilt, rear differential, including all new shocks and front and rear roll cage re-painted. Dont forget the 2.5L Inline diesel engine that will rip a house off the foundation and a 5-speed manual transmission. Pair that with the Hi and Low transfer case you have gear options for days. The exterior of this 1986 Defender for sale is a soft white with painted to match diamond plating to match, this gives us a very sexy looking off road machine, when you are driving and see a road less traveled have no fear- your defender is here. The interior is a black cloth giving you the comfort of a new ride. This defender is one that will make people snap their necks to see what is passing by with the look of confusion on why the driver is on the wrong side? Or is it the right side? Options on this Military grade right hand steer 1986 Toyota Land Rover 110 Defender include: Manual Convertible Top, Diesel engine, Cloth interior, Posi Track rear differential, Seat belts, ability to go anywhere and radial tires wrapped around steel wheels. If you have questions please ask, that is what we are here for. If you want a classic that will be around and appreciate for the years to come here is your ride! Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a classic 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolets new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before. Under rapid development, the Thunderbird went from idea to prototype in about a year, being unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. Like the Corvette, the Thunderbird had a two-seat coupe/convertible layout. Production of the Thunderbird began later on in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a faux hood scoop and a 140 mph speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didnt possess. The exterior was professionally painted in a Dusk Rose while the interior is black and white vinyl. The two complement each other very nicely. Under the hood youll find a potent 312 CID V8 engine backed by a 3-spd automatic transmission but youll also find a rare A/C option. The valve covers are the original Thunderbird ribbed covers that scream 50s style. Its probably the first thing youll notice when you open the hood. Under the chrome air cleaner sits on a 4BBL carburetor that the purists will surly love. The infamous porthole hard top is in amazing condition and painted white on this T-Bird. With the hardtop secured into place the road noise diminishes significantly. Other options include: AM radio, manual convertible top, power brakes, vinyl interior, and wide white wall radial tires. This is a classic Thunderbird with a timeless look which bodes well for an investment piece and a fun driver alike. The consignor states this example to be a true SS with drum brakes, and no factory tach. She is a 3-owner, non-numbers matching car from Indiana, rotisserie restored in Ohio in 2003, and shows very little of her age, as shes been cared for since the restoration. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this ultra-luxury classic 1954 Bentley R-Type Sedan for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Yes, youll immediately notice the Rolls Royce badges everywhere on this one but if you didnt know already its worth pointing out that Bentley and Rolls Royce were the same company back when this car was sold. The aforementioned have always charged a premium for their hand-built automobiles and this Bentley R-Type was no different with its 1954 MSRP of $10,735- thats over $100,000 in todays dollars and to give a comparison, Chevrolets 1954 Corvette sold for just $2,775 when new. The modern Rolls Royce radiator grille with the unmistakable “Spirit of Ecstasy really sets off this British sedan which already has a very distinctive body style and the two tone Black and Silver paint is opulence personified! These Bentleys had a reputation in the 1950s for providing long distance, high speed, reliable motoring and the 279 CID (4.6l) Straight 6-cylinder motor has a lot to do with that. The 150hp estimated output was more than some American 8-cylinder engines were making back then and was capable of a 120mph top speed too. Shifting the gears on this 4,300lb R-Type is a 4-speed automatic transmission General Motors Hydra-Matic unit straight from Detroit; Rolls/Bentleys first automatic vehicle was this R-Type and they continued using GM transmissions into the 21st century. Let your chauffer open the door for you and check out the beautiful, well-preserved Red leather interior on this Bentley. The 50s were indeed a simpler time for creature comforts, but real wood, leather and a classy period correct dash arrangement reminds you of what youre driving. An automatic choke, rear window defroster, heater controls and an aftermarket radio/CD player added will keep you comfortable wherever youre headed. Driving this R-Type is fun, but the back seat is the place to be if you want to be treated like a King: legroom is ample and wooden fold out tables complete the look. If youre still reading this ad, we know youre in love with this 1954 Bentley R-Type just as much as we are! Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales team a call at (623) 900-4884 for more information.
