With only 400 miles on a recent rebuild, this is an excellent example of an Austin Healey 3000! This 1965 big Healey has spent most of its life out in California being well maintained and driven in fair weather only. In 2008, this 1965 Austin Healey MKIII went into a reputable restoration shop in California where the car would spend the next year being meticulously looked over and corrected to bring it back to its former glory. The interior was gone through and brought back to the way that jaw dropping blue interior looked the day it left the factory. A checklist was made to go over the drive train and all components on the car that needed and were then fixed one by one making the finish product as beautiful is it is today. The car was then purchased and transported here to Denver where it was enjoyed and shown off on occasion. In June of 2017, the owner decided to bring it back into the shop for to have the engine completely rebuilt. During the process each step was notated on what work was accomplished and changed; after just over 130 hours and almost $14,000 later, the engine was reinstalled and runs like a sewing machine! Driving this Austin Healey 3000 is a truly unique experience that never seems to get old. As you go for a drive down a curvy back road and start pushing it you can’t help but feel the nostalgia overtake you and are reminded of the racing pedigree this car holds. These cars have been growing in popularity over the years and this Austin Healey 3000 MKIII will surely not disappoint! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1965 Austin Healey 3000 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Through the years of fans and enthusiasts, certain automotive terminology tends to build its own appeal. For example, in most gearheads minds the term Plum Crazy recalls one of Chryslers most creative and confident eras. R/T, short for Road/Track, invokes visions of muscle cars prowling small town streets. Dana 60 or Scat Pak incites visions of late-night stoplight brawls and octane-fueled quarter-miles. And who could forget Hemi, the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. If you are looking for first class Mopar muscle then look no further than this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack car sporting the iconic Plum Crazy purple paint on the exterior with black vinyl top. Being 1 of only 847 Challengers in 1970 to have the 440 Six Pack mated to a 4 speed manual adds even more excitement to owning this classic piece of American muscle. Given its resurgence in popularity, no doubt aided by the current LC-based version, the Challenger is considered by some to be the quintessential American muscle car: a status that naturally invokes an aggressive and exciting aesthetic. At the front of this Challenger, a 1970-exclusive grille hangs an unmistakable Challenger R/T badge between pristine headlights, amber parking lamps and a mirrored bumper. Behind that grille, a pinned, Hemi-branded hood props bold D O D G E lettering in front of clean glass that is framed in correct stainless and capped by correct vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile hangs correct R/T stripes amid fresh rocker trim, flush door handles, a correct mirror and ornate Challenger scripts. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed valence centers body-width taillights and more D O D G E lettering between a second Challenger R/T badge, a second mirrored bumper and correct, quad-outlet exhaust tips. Open this coupes light hood and youll find the legendary, 440 cubic inch Hemi that, while not original to the car, is a date-correct piece that has been professionally rebuilt and maintained to keep it’s nostaligic looks and performance. All of the 390 horses reside in a glossy Hemi Orange block. And exhaust is handled by correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds that feed an H-shaped crossover. Slide under this spotless E-Body and youll find a solid chassis thats ready for the turntable. Satin Black paint highlights exceptionally clean floors that have been finished to better-than-new condition. Behind the Hemi, lives the original 4 speed manual transmission to the car that is tight and shifts like new. Helping transfer all of this excitement to the pavement are is the factory Dana rear end that houses a set of 3.54 gears. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye Wheels, which twist radial tires with raised white lettering around polished trim rings and silver center caps. Peak your head in the window of this car and youll find a correct Black interior thats functional, straightforward and very comfortable. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. Below those seats, stain-free carpet floats Challenger-themed mats at the sides of a correct, wood-trimmed console and cool Pistol Grip Shifter. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. And behind the passengers, a nicely finished trunk centers a correct jack and space saver spare tire between a correct mat and new decklid decal. You can view this 1970 Dodge Challenger in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in at our Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee showroom is this extremely rare 1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible Ram Air III. In 1970 Pontiac made only 114 GTO Convertibles with an automatic Transmission and the 400 CID Ram Air III engine making this a very unique find. This GTO was painted in Atoll Blue and it goes great with the black vinyl interior and black Convertible top. When the car first rolled off the assembly line it did not take long for the then current owner to blow the engine. Luckily it was still under warranty so Pontiac replaced it with a correct “Service Replacement” block. This engine block is what lies under the hood today. The 400 CID Ram Air III engine was rebuilt around 2011 and has only about 2000 miles on it. It emits its great noise through a quad exhaust in the rear. The transmission is the stock Turbo 400 automatic with 3:55 gears instead of the factory 4:33 gears. The original gears do come with the car though! The odometer currently reads 97,159 miles but with a rebuilt motor it is ready for another 50 years! . Inside is a clean vinyl interior with bucket seats. Under the dash in the center there are two aftermarket gauges from Auto Gauge to show the oil pressure and water temperature . It has a Pontiac Wood steering wheel The Gas tank, shocks, starter, lower ball joints, exhaust system, (Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers) hoses, window switches, front bucket springs and foam, and more have all been replaced with new upgraded parts making this a true dream to drive. The spoiler was also installed by the dealer, and the car sits on top of 15-inch Rally II rims. Options include; AM/FM radio, automatic top, Spare tire, Power brakes, power steering, power windows, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior, and posi traction rear end. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe. This beautiful HiBoy was built a mere 2,000 miles ago and is truly show worthy. Often hot rodders are afraid to paint a car black because it can show every imperfection. In this case, the all steel body is in such great shape, there was no other choice for color. The black paint is polished to a high gloss and is so rich it looks like you could reach your hands right into it. The body is Henry Ford steel which sits on top of a Pete and Jakes chassis. The chassis and underside is just as clean as the top. The chassis and suspension is all painted with gloss and the exhaust is polished. Once you start seeing the details, its clear this baby is a show car. It has a coil over shocks in the rear and a 9 Ford rear end. The front has disc brakes, and a power booster has been sneakily hidden beneath the drivers side floor. Under the hood is a 350 CID Chevy small block mated up to a TH350 automatic transmission. The interior is just as clean as the exterior, with all custom upholstery. The red interior really pops against the black paint. A bench seat provides a comfortable seating position for you and your passenger. The door panels are custom molded and the headliner houses the AM/FM/CD stereo. An underdash AC unit will keep you cool on your way to the car shows. This rolling piece of art can be seen in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this custom 1952 GMC 5 Window Pick-Up for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 50s pickups are cherished by collectors and classic car enthusiasts alike and are gaining in value due to their styling as well as the fact there are not many still available in good condition. This 52, which was bought by the current owners 11 years ago and subsequently restored to its present condition in the last couple of years, comes painted in a beautiful shade of ‘candy apple red that is popular with hot-rodders for its attention-grabbing color. The truck bed was professionally refinished with glossed wood by Classic Customs in Phoenix, Arizona. Inside, you will find a dark brown leather interior that has accents of snakeskin- its nice to see that ‘Wild West touch on a truck that was built here in the southwestern United States. Dakota Digital gauges with an analogue/digital switch mode light up the dashboard. Powering this sleek GMC is a Summit Racing 350 CID V8 Chevrolet motor tied to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. This is perhaps the most bulletproof combination among resto-mods and parts for the motor and transmission are easy and affordable to get ahold of. This truck has plenty of trick options to show off at your local cruise-in or simply enjoy while driving. The Air Conditioning and heater controls are integrated in the current dash configuration which looks so much better than adding an aftermarket unit that takes up a lot of space and can be an eyesore. Similarly, there is a cut-out switch installed for the exhaust system so you can make this truck turn heads immediately or quietly pull up to your house at night without waking the neighbors. There is also a back-up camera installed for ultimate convenience when parking and a push-button emergency brake that is a theft deterrent as well as a unique feature. There is a lot more we can tell you about this 1952 GMC Pick-Up for sale so why not give our Sales staff a call if youre interested at (623) 900-4884. Description:

This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda started out life as 1 of 602 that were with the HP383 mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission. Starting in 1983 the car had been stored inside keeping it rust free helping it keep the sheet metal all original! Fast forward to 2014 and the start of the rotisserie restoration that left no bolt untouched. Rallye Red paint adorns the smooth panels and has a great buttery gloss to it. Theres no denying that this car was built to look fast as it is, a benefit of Chryslers delay in developing the E-body twins to combat the Camaro and Mustang, and its probably why the Cuda remains a perennial favorite. When the car was ordered it was special ordered with the 3.91 Sure Grip rear end. Also included with this Cudas options were the Rallye red paint, elastomeric bumpers front and rear, Rallye mirrors, Rallye bubble hood, Rallye instrument cluster, as well as a Rim-Blow steering wheel. Rounding out the great appeal of this car as it rolls down the road is a set of 18 inch U.S. Mag alloy wheels wrapped in 255/45R18 radial tires. There is no doubt that this is one of the most desirable muscle cars that the big three has produced and one of the arguably best years it was produced! Opening the dual scooped hood gives you a small peek at some of the modern upgrades that help bring this classic to life. Keeping the stroked 432 cubic inch V8 cool is an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans while pushing 400 horsepower. Feeding the fuel to this Mopar is an MSD Atomic throttle body EFI. Tasked with igniting all of that fuel is a complete MSD ignition system including a 6AL box. Breathing all of the exhaust out of this setup is a set of TTI ceramic headers and full Pypes dual exhaust complete with rectangular exhaust tips. Transferring all of that go fast power to the 8-3/4 inch rear end is a brand new Tremec 600 Five speed manual transmission rated to handle up to 600 horsepower. While it is a modern transmission it sports the correct pistol grip shifter for the era which no true Mopar of the time should be without. When we said no bolt was left untouched during the restoration we truly meant NO BOLT! When you look under this heart pounding muscle car youll find an undercarriage that matches the quality of the exterior. Hotchkis subframe connectors help insure all of that power does not hurt any of the beautiful body work. Tasked with bringing this car to a stop is a set of 4-wheel Willwood disc brakes as well as Hotchkis fully tuned shocks help keep traction while starting or stopping. A complete UniSteer power rack & pinion setup makes steering this car a dream. The look and feel of this black interior is the way this car was ordered and is a great combination of new and original components. The original dash remains intact and restored but now houses a complete set of Dakota digital gauges helping make sure all of the vitals of this car are monitored as accurately as possible. They also reveal that 1,437 miles have been driven since the restoration was completed. One of my personal favorite parts of this Barracuda is the wood rimmed steering wheel that is complete with the Barracuda insignia. You can view this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The year is 1964, The World’s largest cheese is manufactured in Wisconsin for the New York World Fair, US President Lyndon B. Johnson signs Civil Rights Act & Voting Rights Act into law and this gorgeous 1964 ½ HiPo Mustang rolls into dealerships for the first time. Since then she has undergone a full meticulous restoration. Now with only 45 miles on her since the restoration was completed earlier this year. It is believed that only 90 ‘64 ½ HiPo’s coupes were ever produced. The Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang. The 1963 Mustang II concept car was designed with a variation of the production models front and rear ends with a roof that was 2.7 inches shorter. Introduced early on April 17, 1964 (16 days after the Plymouth Barracuda), and thus dubbed as a 1964½ by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automakers most successful launch since the Model A. The Mustang has undergone several transformations to its current sixth generation. Its easily the best thing to come out of Dearborn since the 1932 V-8 Model B roadster. But for all Fords talk of Total Performance, its still clear that the Mustang has been designed and built to a price. The necessity of meeting cost goals meant that it had to share a maximum number of components with other models in the Ford line. Out of this situation sprang the advantage of an extremely wide availability of options for the Mustang, selected from the Falcon, Fairlane and Galaxie series. Briefly, it gives the customer a choice of four engines, three clutches, seven transmissions, two driveshafts, four brake systems, four wheel types and three wheel sizes, three suspension systems, and three steering systems. This seems slightly overwhelming until one remembers that only certain combinations are authorized, for either technical or commercial reasons. Lee Anthony Iacocca, vice president and general manager of Ford Division, sees the Mustang first as a family car, which meant that it had to have four seats, with better rear seat accommodation than is offered in the two-plus-two category. Its also aimed at a not-clearly-defined market consisting of customers looking for a not-clearly-defined combination of luxury and status. In addition to all this, the Mustang is intended as a sports car. Especially with the 271 HP V8 HiPo, backed by a 4 speed. You’ll feel like Capt. Stanley Tucker, driving this beauty down the road. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville proudly presents this awesome 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod for sale. This ’32 Ford Sedan is definitely a throwback to way cooler times. While most modern-day street rods sport a Mustang II style front suspension, this old girl has a chromed solid drop axle and spindles. Steering is handled by a Schroeder side steer unit. The long steering rod has been drenched in chrome as well and really pops against the bright red sheet metal. The Sedan has been chopped 1 ½ inches and channeled another inch to give it a nice sleek and low look. Steel wheels have been color matched to the body, then dressed out with chromed center caps and beauty rings. The wheels have been wrapped in wide whitewall bias ply Firestone tires to finish off the classic 50’s hot rod look. Under the hood of this old school hot rod is a Buick 401 Nail Head engine. The engine has been dressed out with dual chrome weber carburetors, chrome intake, chrome Buick valve covers, and chromed lake style headers. The headers are bolted to set of stainless steel exhaust that tuck up nicely to the underside of the car. The rear end is a Winters Quick Change unit which again pays homage to the Hot rods of the 50’s and early 60’s. Inside the ’32 Ford Sedan is a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr dash. With the fit and finish, it looks like this dash came with the car. The pleated red and cream interior just screams 50’s era hot rod. Look closely though, they are a few modern amenities lurking on the inside. This ’32 Ford Sedan has a nice AM/FM radio with a CD player for your listening enjoyment. Look under the dash and you will notice a set of knobs for the AC. That’s right, this old school hot rod is equipped with Air Conditioning to keep you as cool as you will look when driving this beauty. The attention to detail and craftsmanship has made stunner an award winner. Most notable is the Goodguys/Dupont Hot Hues 2008 Hot Rod of the year. Description:

This could potentially be the only Cougar like this one still in existence! Sold June 23rd, 1969 this triple black Cougar was purchased and adored for many years by what is believed to be only two owners. After the current owner purchased it 6 years ago, this classic Mercury underwent a complete restoration where the car was stripped down to the bare tub. Once taken down bolt by bolt, the car was professionally restored using correct parts and no expense was sparred throughout. The same 390 cubic inch big block V8 and C-6 Merc-O-Matic that came in only 102 Cougars that year was also taken apart and professionally rebuilt. Since this work was completed and the car was put back together, there has been only 464 miles put on this stunning Cougar! The Raven black paint that was a factory color in 1969 looks deep and is like looking in a mirror and pairs well with the completely black interior and black soft top. As you sit in the driver’s seat, and stare out over the gauges, you will be impressed at the overall condition and feel as if you are looking at this Cougar back on the showroom floor in 1969. The ride in this Cougar is just as impressive. Before the interior was reinstalled, the floor pans were lined in Dynamat to keep the road noise down. This Cougar is a piece of American automotive history and is an excellent option for someone who wants a very original classic with a MARTI report and the prominence that goes with it. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1969 Mercury Cougar in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
