Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this 1974 Dodge Charger Super Bee tribute. This gorgeous yellow and black charger pays tribute to the 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee. From 1968 to 1970 the Super Bee was applied exclusively to the Dodge Coronet. Then, in 1971 the Super Bee package was applied to the Dodge Charger. This was the last year, until late model Super Bees, that the Charger carried the Super Bee name. The Super Bee Charger was a relatively rare car as there were only 5,054 ever produced in 1971. This particular charger is powered by a 340cid V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It drives like a true muscle car and makes all the right sounds. The body was tripped down two years ago and was completely restored. Any traces of rust were eliminated. A beautiful coat of PPG paint was applied and looks gorgeous in and out of the sun. This charger recently received a new carburetor, intake, and factory wheels. It has a very aggressive appearance with its front and rear spoilers, hood scoop, Bumble Bee badges, and color combination. This Super Bee tribute has Directed brand speakers both up front and in the rear. It’s ok if you’re not a music person as the exhaust sounds fantastic. This special Dodge features an AM/FM radio, a CD player, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, a vinyl interior, and radial tires with raised white letters. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this great example of a 1966 Pontiac GTO that has a great mix between classic looks and performance! A nice restoration and repaint was finished a few years back looking nearly and as good as it did the day it was completed. The exterior color is an eye-popping Gold that separates it from others on the road. While according to the PHS docs this car was originally a H.D 3-speed with a 389 CID V8, this beauty is now powered by a strong running 455 CID V8 and has been paired up to a 4-speed manual transmission. With power steering, and power brakes this car still handles much like it did from the factory. A few more modern changes have been added to include dual electric fans, MSD ignition, and aluminum radiator to ensure proper cooling. The ride has also been improved slightly with the coil over shocks added to the rear. Even a fresh fuel tank was added during the restoration, so you dont have to worry about 40+ years of old gas, dirt, and debris sitting at the bottom of the tank. Getting into the driver seat you will notice its mostly original apart from a nicely done aftermarket gauge cluster, and a nice digital display for your stereo. The black leather seats are in great shape with no major rips or tears either. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this gorgeous burgundy 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. With only 2500 miles on the build, this beast is ready to rumble for a long time to come. Lurking under the hood is a fire-breathing fuel injected 396 CID V8, backed by a built GM TH400 3-speed automatic, sending all of that power out back to a new Currie 9 rear end with 3.50:1 gears and Posi-Trac. The big 396 is topped with a FAST throttle-body fuel injection setup, which really makes it suitable for a regular-use car. Further enhancing its daily-driver potential is a massive BeCool aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans to keep it running cool. An MSD ignition system enhances the spark delivery to ensure every bit of that fuel is taken advantage of in the combustion chambers. Ceramic-coated Hooker headers scavenge the exhaust into a 3-inch dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers, and they all add up to produce that menacing muscle car sound that one would expect from a car that looks this capable. Keeping all of that performance capability under control and the car glued to the pavement are QA1 coilovers up front and QA1 shocks out back, tubular A-arms up front, drop spindles, power 4-wheel disc brakes and CPP power steering. This car is ready for go or show, and you can get it for a fraction of what it would cost to build one. With its gorgeous burgundy with silver-striped PPG Basecoat/Clearcoat finish on the exterior, and color-matched engine with all of the polished billet aluminum enhancements (valve covers, air cleaner, core supports), chromed master cylinder, March billet serpentine belt drive system, and tons of chrome throughout, it will certainly catch everyones eyes. Even the RS grille has been updated with new DSE electric headlight doors, which are definitely eye-catching, and work better than the originals. The addition of the custom 18x7 (front) and 20x9 wheels are wrapped in performance G-Force Comp-2 BF Goodrich radials up front and Nexen N3000 radials out back. Inside is a mostly stock-looking interior that sports some modern touches. The leather-wrapped billet steering wheel looks (and feels) awesome in front of the factory-look dash, which is outfitted with white face gauges that really look sharp. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3 head unit with Bluetooth provides the tunes in the event that you want to crank up the Thorogood instead of cranking up the RPMs on the tach. New black carpet, new synthetic leather-covered seating, new door panels, new center console, and a new headliner round out the virtually all-new interior. You will want to drive this car year round, since it has a new R134a-equipped Vintage Air system. Grab this beast before someone else does! Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this very custom 1939 Chevrolet Master 85. This 39 Chevy is one that is turn key ready to be taken to any local car show and be the talk of the night. Starting the night off would be the eye-popping paint. The orange, and cream color mesh well together and distinguishes it from everything else on the road. Separating the two colors are custom graphics done by Pat Maxwell of Maxwell Auto Design. This car is a STEEL BODY, however the running boards, and rear fenders are fiberglass. Once youre done drooling over the exterior of the car just pop open the hood for an even better surprise. Powered by a Nickens Racing LS1 its estimated by the owner that its putting out approximately 500hp. This powerful engine has been paired up to a 4L60E transmission. Peaking under the cars backside you will find a Ford 9 rear end as well. With roughly 14,000 miles on the rebuild there is a lot of life left in this beauty. With cold blowing A/C it truly is a breeze to cruise around in this car. The interior is just a nice as the exterior. With a cream and gray interior, it complements the exterior nicely. The interior is completely custom with a more modern look than what it had from the factory. Sitting in the drivers seat grasping the Billet steering wheel, you can closely monitor the cars performance through the Dolphin gauges. Other nice modern features include door poppers, power windows, tilt steering, and AM/FM stereo. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolets wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large teardrop design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was Speed minder, for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.
