Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 AC Cobra Replica. The Shelby Cobra was first made in 1961 when Carroll Shelby wrote to AC Cars, a British automotive company, and asked if they could build him a car with a V8 instead of their V6. Ford supplied the engine, at Carroll Shelbys request, so they could compete with Chevrolet’s Corvette. The car was built starting with a Shell Valley body and frame kit in 2012. Since then, only 435 miles have been put on the clock. Powering the Cobra is Ford’s venerable 351 Cleveland, mated to a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. This engine/trans combo makes for a truly enjoyable driving experience at any speed. Behind the excellent powertrain is a Jaguar independent rear suspension, which puts down the power very smoothly. The desirability of the car isn’t limited to what is under the body, however. This Cobra is painted in PPG Top Brand 1994 Viper Blue, a truly striking color when matched to the silver racing stripes. The interior is a done very cleanly, with black carpet and black leather. The radio and CD player is pumped through a sound system that is actually audible while driving this amazing machine. To view this 1967 AC Cobra replica in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this stunning Torch Red 2004 Ford SVT Cobra Convertible. Built by the “Special Vehicle Team at Ford, this muscle car was the performance version of the base Mustang. Higher performance than even the GT or the Mach 1. The Cobra was built from 1993 to 2004 with this being the last model year. This car was eventually succeeded by the 2007 GT500. This car though, is no slouch at all. Whether in the looks and comfort department, or performance! Under the hood is the 4.6L V8 engine making around 390hp stock, but this car has some bolt on goodies which help produce 450hp to the wheels! Shifting through a 6-speed manual gearbox makes for an exciting drive. Automatic top that quickly goes up or down depending on the weather. And basically every modern amenity one could ask for in a sporty convertible. A/C, power brakes, steering, seats, windows, AM/FM radio, CD player, leather interior, and more! As mentioned before, this car has some aftermarket parts added on. Going along with the car is the original shifter, exhaust, and air cleaner to put car back to stock if you so choose. Ford only made 167 Torch Red Convertibles in 2004 so if you love this color, on this car, then here is your chance to get behind the wheel of some good old American Muscle! This 2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom and can be seen in fantastic detail including 100+ HD photos and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a 500HP Plum Crazy 1948 Ford F1 Restomod! Ford stayed a step ahead of the pack when it introduced its “Bonus Built trucks in 1948. Unlike its prewar light-duty models that were based on car chassis, the all-new F-1 featured a unique frame, telescopic shock absorbers and a one-piece windshield, the latter a big distinction from the competition. Popular with collectors and hot rodders, the early postwar F-1 pickups seem like they were built for personalization. This 1948 Ford F-1 one has undergone an extensive restoration before the application of mile-deep Plum Crazy paint, including a 383-cubic-inch small-block Chevy V-8 dynoed at over 500 horsepower, a full TCI suspension, interior customization and more. This is a sure-fire attention-getter. ENGINE According to the seller, within the last 850 miles, this truck received a power makeover with the installation of a 383-cubic-inch stroker crate engine. The seller has dyno sheets showing better than 500 horsepower and torque, thanks in part to the modified crank from a 400 small block that allows for a 3.75-inch stroke. Fuel is drawn through a Quick Fuel Technologies HR Series carburetor, atop an Edelbrock Super Victor single-plane aluminum intake. Spent gases are carried out by a set of Hedman headers and a dual exhaust that exit at the back end of the truck. The engine was assembled by White Performance and Machine in Kingsport, Tennessee. TRANSMISSION The engine is bolted to a GM Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 trans, good for three gears and an overdrive. The transmission includes a new FTI Street Racer 9.5-inch lockup torque converter, and a B&M QuicSilver shifter inside the cab. The transmission shifts with no vibration or unexpected noise, according to the seller. CHASSIS While the original suspension might have been adequate for a flathead V-8, an engine with this kind of power needs a suspension to match. This 48 Ford F-1 features a suspension overhaul from Total Cost Involved in Ontario, California. The front suspension is fully independent with coil springs and Ride Tech shocks. The rear suspension is TCIs parabolic leaf spring setup, which not only lowers the back end, but provides a much more comfortable ride compared to the original spring pack. The suspension setup also allows for power steering and disc brakes up front. Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires are mounted to five-spoke aluminum Rader-style wheels. EXTERIOR The truck is finished in Plum Crazy purple paint applied in 2019 that the seller describes as “show quality and rates as 9.4 out of 10, with no swirls or blemishes. The running boards are finished in a textured material tinted to match the trucks overall paint scheme, and protected by cast aluminum step plates. The lumber in the bed is varnished and set off with black steel ribs. All of the glass appears to be in good shape. INTERIOR A lot of work went into providing the driver and passenger with more interior comfort than this F-1 was originally built with. The flat bench seat was replaced with a sculpted, split back TMI Pro Series seat with much more lateral support than the original. The card-style headliner matches the material used to cover the back of the cab, and the floor is carpeted in black. The instrument panel was updated with a Dakota Digital gauge panel, with a speedometer, tachometer, fuel, water temp, oil pressure and volt meters. A dual-DIN Pyle PLDNANDVR695 head unit provides not only sound but video capabilities through a 6.5-inch touchscreen. DOCUMENTATION receipts for much of the customization work and the engine dyno results. Updated with modern power, suspension and steering systems, and digital comfort and convenience features, this 1948 Ford F-1 blends classic styling with contemporary usability. Come get it before someone else claims it! **AC needs a charge**

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to feature this survivor 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale right now on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. These T-Birds are iconic when thinking of the most popular 1950s cars along with its closest competitor, the Chevrolet Corvette, and many of them have lived on today to be cherished by collectors over half a century after they were originally manufactured. Painted in “Raven Black (believed to be the original paint, but unconfirmed), this 57 has all the style you could ask for including tailfins, removable hard-top with signature “Port-Hole windows, white wall radial tires with hubcaps and plenty of chrome trim everywhere you look. Furthermore, fender skirts for the rear wheel arches are also included in the sale and a white manually operated soft-top can be put into action once the hardtop is removed. This numbers-matching baby Bird is a “D Code car with the 312 CID V8 engine/4bbl carburetor with 245 factory rated horsepower. The sought after 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive gives this Thunderbird some fun factor! Inside the cockpit is just as youd expect- well preserved and original dash, White/Black vinyl bench seat with added seat belts, AM radio and crank windows. Youre going to love this time-capsule 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale- its a true collector in every sense of the word. Give us a call today to reserve your place in this flashy Ford by dialing (623) 900-4884 and well get you one step closer to proud ownership. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1966 Convertible Chevrolet SS 396 Malibu Tribute. This is a fine example of a SS 396 Tribute. The Red Paint with the Blacktop make a very bold statement. This one should be taken to the Local Cruises either with the top up or down. The Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983 and since 1997. The Malibu began as a trim-level of the Chevrolet Chevelle, becoming its own model line in 1978. Originally a rear-wheel-drive intermediate, GM revived the Malibu nameplate as a front-wheel-drive car in 1997. Named after coastal community of Malibu, California, the Malibu was marketed primarily in North America, with the eighth generation introduced globally. In the mid 1960s the Malibu SS was available only as a two-door Sport Coupe hardtop or convertible and added bucket seats, center console (with optional four-speed manual or Powerglide transmissions), engine gauges and special wheel covers, and offered with any six-cylinder or V8 engine offered in other Chevelles. The Malibu SS was replaced in 1966 by a new Chevelle SS-396 series that included a big-block 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 engine (Canadian market did not receive the SS 396 but marketed the former Malibu SS nameplate until January 1967 when it was phased out), heavy duty suspension and other performance equipment. Other SS-396 equipment was similar to Malibu Sport Coupes and convertibles including an all-vinyl bench seat. Bucket seats and console with floor shift were now optional on the SS and for 1966 with the SS now denoting a car with a big-block engine, the bucket seats became a new option on the regular Malibu Sport Coupe and convertible, upon which any six-cylinder or small-block V8 could be ordered. Also new for 1966 was the Chevelle Malibu four-door Sport Sedan hardtop. Styling revisions on all 1966 Chevelles including more rounded styling similar to the full-sized Chevrolets with sail panels and tunneled rear windows featured on two-door hardtop coupes.. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of real American built Chevrolet history in our Denver Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our sales staff at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@GatewayClassicCars.com.
