Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne. This 1962 Biscayne for sale is a real beauty and the perfect example of a classic hot rod! The Belair emblems were added by the seller, but this is a real Biscayne. She is powered by an amazing 409 CI V8 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum intake, and w/ dual quads, mated to a 4-speed Muncie transmission, and a Ford 9 posi-traction rear end with 3:55 gears. The exhaust is handled through a set of headers , and an electric exhaust gate to run open headers. The paint is a nice 2-stage Biege paint, that shows very well - and the color coded steel wheels lets you know there is something sinister under the hood! The interior appears to be original, with a color coordinated vinyl w/ cloth insert bench seat, and looks likes she has been taken care of through the years. It is equipped with a floor mount shifter, column mounted tach, and under dash aftermarket gauges. It surely looks as close to the 62 era as it can - outside the aftermarket stereo. The trunk appears to be original, and is in very good condition for this vintage car. This Biscyane is optioned with: power steering, vinyl/cloth interior, aftermarket am/fm/cd stereo, steel wheels, and B.F. Goodrich T/A P235/60R15, P275/55R17 radial tires. If you like this vintage Biscaynes, you need to take a look at this one! For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833 or e-mail us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com.

Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 AC Cobra Replica. The Shelby Cobra was first made in 1961 when Carroll Shelby wrote to AC Cars, a British automotive company, and asked if they could build him a car with a V8 instead of their V6. Ford supplied the engine, at Carroll Shelbys request, so they could compete with Chevrolet’s Corvette. The car was built starting with a Shell Valley body and frame kit in 2012. Since then, only 435 miles have been put on the clock. Powering the Cobra is Ford’s venerable 351 Cleveland, mated to a Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. This engine/trans combo makes for a truly enjoyable driving experience at any speed. Behind the excellent powertrain is a Jaguar independent rear suspension, which puts down the power very smoothly. The desirability of the car isn’t limited to what is under the body, however. This Cobra is painted in PPG Top Brand 1994 Viper Blue, a truly striking color when matched to the silver racing stripes. The interior is a done very cleanly, with black carpet and black leather. The radio and CD player is pumped through a sound system that is actually audible while driving this amazing machine. To view this 1967 AC Cobra replica in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a 500HP Plum Crazy 1948 Ford F1 Restomod! Ford stayed a step ahead of the pack when it introduced its “Bonus Built trucks in 1948. Unlike its prewar light-duty models that were based on car chassis, the all-new F-1 featured a unique frame, telescopic shock absorbers and a one-piece windshield, the latter a big distinction from the competition. Popular with collectors and hot rodders, the early postwar F-1 pickups seem like they were built for personalization. This 1948 Ford F-1 one has undergone an extensive restoration before the application of mile-deep Plum Crazy paint, including a 383-cubic-inch small-block Chevy V-8 dynoed at over 500 horsepower, a full TCI suspension, interior customization and more. This is a sure-fire attention-getter. ENGINE According to the seller, within the last 850 miles, this truck received a power makeover with the installation of a 383-cubic-inch stroker crate engine. The seller has dyno sheets showing better than 500 horsepower and torque, thanks in part to the modified crank from a 400 small block that allows for a 3.75-inch stroke. Fuel is drawn through a Quick Fuel Technologies HR Series carburetor, atop an Edelbrock Super Victor single-plane aluminum intake. Spent gases are carried out by a set of Hedman headers and a dual exhaust that exit at the back end of the truck. The engine was assembled by White Performance and Machine in Kingsport, Tennessee. TRANSMISSION The engine is bolted to a GM Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 trans, good for three gears and an overdrive. The transmission includes a new FTI Street Racer 9.5-inch lockup torque converter, and a B&M QuicSilver shifter inside the cab. The transmission shifts with no vibration or unexpected noise, according to the seller. CHASSIS While the original suspension might have been adequate for a flathead V-8, an engine with this kind of power needs a suspension to match. This 48 Ford F-1 features a suspension overhaul from Total Cost Involved in Ontario, California. The front suspension is fully independent with coil springs and Ride Tech shocks. The rear suspension is TCIs parabolic leaf spring setup, which not only lowers the back end, but provides a much more comfortable ride compared to the original spring pack. The suspension setup also allows for power steering and disc brakes up front. Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires are mounted to five-spoke aluminum Rader-style wheels. EXTERIOR The truck is finished in Plum Crazy purple paint applied in 2019 that the seller describes as “show quality and rates as 9.4 out of 10, with no swirls or blemishes. The running boards are finished in a textured material tinted to match the trucks overall paint scheme, and protected by cast aluminum step plates. The lumber in the bed is varnished and set off with black steel ribs. All of the glass appears to be in good shape. INTERIOR A lot of work went into providing the driver and passenger with more interior comfort than this F-1 was originally built with. The flat bench seat was replaced with a sculpted, split back TMI Pro Series seat with much more lateral support than the original. The card-style headliner matches the material used to cover the back of the cab, and the floor is carpeted in black. The instrument panel was updated with a Dakota Digital gauge panel, with a speedometer, tachometer, fuel, water temp, oil pressure and volt meters. A dual-DIN Pyle PLDNANDVR695 head unit provides not only sound but video capabilities through a 6.5-inch touchscreen. DOCUMENTATION receipts for much of the customization work and the engine dyno results. Updated with modern power, suspension and steering systems, and digital comfort and convenience features, this 1948 Ford F-1 blends classic styling with contemporary usability. Come get it before someone else claims it! It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this Classic 1936 Ford Sedan. That is right, I said sedan. When did two extra doors make that much difference? This all steel (ok, listen, I am not saying henry Ford himself worked this metal on an anvil, but, maybe.) This 1936 Ford sedan is painted a color, one which we can not agree on a name. Some have called it off white. Others, tan or khaki. One even mentioned green, we fired him. Just joking. The power plant for this 1936 Ford sedan is,,,wait for it,,, A Ford! 302 cubic inches of classic iron topped with Edlebrock (R)intake and Carburetor the exhaust is routed via shorty headers and a C 4 3 speed automatic transmission handles the gears. A Lincoln ford rear end out back ties it all together. The cloth interior is brown and while that might not be your first choice these days, it just works with this car. With air conditioning to keep you cool and AM/FM CD player to keep the tunes flowing this car could or maybe should be your daily driver. Someone years ago looked at this sedan and thought, I can make that car cool and people will love it, and I agree with him and his vision. I just wish I knew what color he painted it! Options for this 1936 Ford SEDAN include: Air conditioning, AM/FM CD, Power steering. Seat belts allot rims with radial tires. This Ford Sedan can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD photos at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1966 Convertible Chevrolet SS 396 Malibu Tribute. This is a fine example of a SS 396 Tribute. The Red Paint with the Blacktop make a very bold statement. This one should be taken to the Local Cruises either with the top up or down. The Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983 and since 1997. The Malibu began as a trim-level of the Chevrolet Chevelle, becoming its own model line in 1978. Originally a rear-wheel-drive intermediate, GM revived the Malibu nameplate as a front-wheel-drive car in 1997. Named after coastal community of Malibu, California, the Malibu was marketed primarily in North America, with the eighth generation introduced globally. In the mid 1960s the Malibu SS was available only as a two-door Sport Coupe hardtop or convertible and added bucket seats, center console (with optional four-speed manual or Powerglide transmissions), engine gauges and special wheel covers, and offered with any six-cylinder or V8 engine offered in other Chevelles. The Malibu SS was replaced in 1966 by a new Chevelle SS-396 series that included a big-block 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 engine (Canadian market did not receive the SS 396 but marketed the former Malibu SS nameplate until January 1967 when it was phased out), heavy duty suspension and other performance equipment. Other SS-396 equipment was similar to Malibu Sport Coupes and convertibles including an all-vinyl bench seat. Bucket seats and console with floor shift were now optional on the SS and for 1966 with the SS now denoting a car with a big-block engine, the bucket seats became a new option on the regular Malibu Sport Coupe and convertible, upon which any six-cylinder or small-block V8 could be ordered. Also new for 1966 was the Chevelle Malibu four-door Sport Sedan hardtop. Styling revisions on all 1966 Chevelles including more rounded styling similar to the full-sized Chevrolets with sail panels and tunneled rear windows featured on two-door hardtop coupes.. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of real American built Chevrolet history in our Denver Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this rugged AM General-built 2001 HMMWV, aka Humvee. This vehicle was built to take a beating and withstand some of the toughest environments. After undergoing a more modern restoration this truck sure looks good going down the road. This monster is powered by a 6.5L Diesel with around 1,500 miles on it. Its paired to a 4L80E automatic transmission that shifts through the gears nicely. Naturally this beast is AWD and can get through almost anything you throw at it. What makes it even better is you can take this beast on the street, or create your own path for a great adventure. This Humvee is coated in a white PPG paint to truly stand apart from the other Humvees out on the road today. Sitting on some whopping 37 tires it has no issues going off-road when you choose to do so. Some other upgrades include a light bar running across the top and another along the bottom, LED lights, back up camera, and raised exhaust so those in the high flood areas can still get around as well. Peaking at the interior gives you a nice mix of rugged military and modern comfort. The Humvee features 4 custom seats, and cold blowing A/C which is a must in the summertime for those down South. With plenty of space in the rear you can easily load up for a long weekend hunting trip or camping with the family. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1967 Mustang Hardtop for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1967 Mustang is a true S code car with a 390 cubic inch V8 and 4 speed transmission with 16,128 miles since restoration. The included Marti report indicates that this car was built at San Diego on 11/11/1966. The window sticker, also with the car, includes the GT equipment group, limited-slip differential, courtesy light group, console, deluxe steering wheel, power steering, conditioner, AM radio and tinted glass. The following is from an article on Hagerty.com: The car was overlooked by the customers chasing mighty Cobra Jets and K-Code 289s is the 390-cid S-Code Mustang, produced with little fanfare in 1967-69. That relative lack of collector car attention may well make S-Code Mustangs the markets unsung hero. Although the 390-inch V-8 is roughly 165 pounds heavier than the thin-wall 289, its good breathing produced impressive output: up to 325 horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque. That is within spitting distance of the 428 Cobra Jets 335 hp and 440 lb-ft (spitting distance being 3.7 percent fewer horses and 3.0 percent less torque, assuming Fords rating methods for both engines were consistent). Their low profile in the market has resulted in values that are steady, less subject to whims of fad and fashion. The 390 was based on the FE-series V-8s introduced in 1958 for Thunderbirds and Edsels. The FE-series persisted well into the 1970s, installed in everything from pickups to Cammer-powered drag cars and Le Mans-winning GT40s. It began flexing its muscle in the redesigned 1967 Mustang’s wider engine compartment. To view this beautiful 1967 Mustang, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale at our Ft. Lauderdale showroom is this gorgeous, completely restored 1980 Toyota FJ40. Toyota started production of the Land Cruiser FJ40 in 1960 and began importing them to the US in 1963. The last US-bound FJ-40 rolled off the line in 1983, but they made a brief comeback as a modern SUV in the US called the FJ Cruiser from 2006 to 2014. From 1963 to 1983 the FJ40 saw little change aesthetically, the only real changes were improvements in technology mechanically. The classic FJs are as comfortable on a trail as they are on the highway because they were designed to do anything you could ever ask it to do and do it well. This FJ40 has a numbers matching beefy 4.2 L. 6-cylinder engine and has only 36 miles on it mated to a 4x4 4 speed Manual Transmission. The body, Green paint and vinyl black interior are all immaculate and look brand spanking new! Adding to the fresh look of the paint are the newer alloy wheels with All Terrain Tires. Inside youll find folding bench seats behind the passenger and driver seats. These folding seats made carrying additional passengers easy, but also allowed for maximum cargo space, as opposed to the folding rear seat in the Jeep CJ series.. If you are looking for an FJ40 that is ready to immediately enjoy on or off-road and that is priced to sell, youve found it. This FJ would make a great weekend warrior or a daily driver and will put most new 4x4s to shame off the pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. This 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this nicely restored 1965 Pontiac Lemans. This beauty was restored as a GTO tribute and could certainly pass as one cruising down the road to an untrained eye. Powered by a rebuilt 400 CID V8, power is readily available and can get you up to highway speeds with ease. The transmission is a new 200R4 which features closer gearing than the 700R4 making it better for drag racing, and a higher overdrive gear which is better for highway speeds. Some may even say it’s simply a better transmission, but then we just start getting into opinions. Making this car presentable under its shell is all new floor pans, new body bushings, trunk pan, and a smooth firewall. With only around 4,500 miles on the restoration, this GTO tribute has a lot of life left in it. The body work and paint had been done by “Jim Jolley Paint & Body” and certainly shows well. Painted in an eye-catching Fontaine Blue. Color matching wheels keeps a truly 60s classic look. Front disc brakes with drums in the rear provide enough clamping force to bring you to a stop. The interior is one that’ll certainly grab some attention. The seats are a Parchment color, or for those with a more basic color wheel “off-white”. With no major rips or tears, you can certainly take home a trophy or two with this beauty. The dash matches the exterior blue and features the classic wood paneled gauge cluster. With cold blowing A/C and functioning heater, this car is ready for year-round driving.
