Description:

Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this extraordinary piece of automotive history, a 1914 Cadillac, to our Philadelphia located in West Deptford, NJ! The 1914 Cadillac is the last and largest of the Model 30 Cadillacs which began in 1909. This 103-year old automobile, serial number 99058, is quite authentic and fully functional! According to the owner, the four-cylinder, 365 CID engine has never been apart and many of the parts are original including the muffler! The horsepower is listed as 40-50 hp which is considerable for any car of the day, but quite impressive from a car with a four-cylinder engine! It is believed that the car has just over 9,000 miles since new! The cylinders are cast individually with individual heads and copper water jackets. The lubricating system, designed and improved by Cadillac, is the same one used on all four-cylinder Cadillacs from 1905! This Cadillac is a special high compression model which uses a unique carburetor and caps on the heads to increase compression! The engine is unmolested including the water cooling on the carburetor. Historically, these cars have had problems with cracked heads. These have no cracks! All Model 30s have problems with connecting rod bolt breakage, this car has had those replaced by high strength bolts by Steve Bono of M&S Restoration in Bouckville, NY! All connecting rod bearings were hand scraped and adjusted. The clutch and water pump have been rebuilt! The radiator has been cleaned and filled with Evans® Coolant, there are no leaks! This is a difficult statement to make for any brass-era car! 1913 and 1914 Cadillacs are very similar, but differ in two major respects, the fuel feed and the rear end. The 1913 has the gas tank as part of the cowl with gravity feed which can be quite the challenge to clean! This 1914 Cadillac has the gas tank in the rear with pressurized feed to the carburetor. The gas tank on this car was removed, all solder removed and replaced with higher temperature, modern solder, sealed with Renu® high temperature sealer and repainted! Everything on this car works well and its starts easily! The two-speed rear end makes this car special as it has two ratios, 3.66 (low speed) and 2.5 to 1 (high speed). To view this 1914 Cadillac in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Now available in our Philadelphia location is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. The 1968 Camaro is a cool car to begin with. Drop a modern LSA in a 1968 Camaro and you have a High-Performance Beast with modern day drivability and dependability. The 6.2-liter V8 Supercharged LSA is an engine produced by General Motors for use in high-performance vehicles. The LSA is part of GM’s 4th-generation V8 Small Block engine family and is notorious for its high-power output. It is made at GM’s Silao facilities in Mexico. The engine is used in the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. More than sheer performance, the LSA balances great power with exceptional refinement. An advanced, sixth-generation Eaton supercharger with high-twist four-lobe rotors is a large contributor to the engine’s high performance. It enables a broad power band with almost imperceptible operation. Naturally an engine like this requires an updated transmission as well. A six-speed 6L90E has been chosen to distribute the horsepower to the narrowed 12-inch rear with 3:73 gears. The exterior is finished in Gray with white stripes and was done using PPG products. The interior is all Classic Camaro and in great shape, with a no frills race ready look. There are no comfort options. There is no heat or AC and no entertainment as well. This Camaro is all about going fast in a straight line and looking good doing it. To view this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

LS1 with overdrive, leather interior, and modern Heidts suspension makes this the ultimate Street rod! Now it is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and is a very custom 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe. This cinnamon street rod, once owned by Tony Kukoc of the Chicago Bulls, is custom from the ground up, and virtually every surface on this car has either been painted, chromed, or is polished stainless steel. It’s so nice you’ll not only want to eat off the hood, but the undercarriage as well. As far as the powertrain goes, this rod is packing heat! Equipped with an LS1 Engine and 4L60E 4-Speed automatic transmission this thing goes just as good as it looks. In addition to the engine and transmission pairing, the rest of the powertrain consists of custom parts, including: driveshaft, shifter and shifter knob, and chromed and polished serpentine belt system. Like the rest of the vehicle, the interior is also completely customized and matches the cinnamon paint perfectly. Made by Kasper Auto Trim, the interior, trunk, and one-piece headliner create a driving space that feels eloquently modern, even though you’re piloting a 76 year old titan of a street rod. Power rack and pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes make the driving experience pleasant, complimenting the LS1 engine in perfect harmony. Quite frankly, one could write a novel about this vehicle and the plethora of custom work done on it over the years. The build sheet for this vehicle highlights every aspect of the process and even breaks it down by each aspect of the vehicle and even includes manufacturer details about each aftermarket part. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving, at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle, have questions regarding it, or would like a complete run down of the plethora of custom parts, please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this GM legend, a beautiful 1969 Buick GS Stage I! The ‘stage’ was set by several manufacturers in 1969, the midst of the performance car war that raged fiercely both on and off the track. Buicks were certainly not considered as the favorite brand by performance enthusiasts as GM cousins Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac were on the front lines with big engines like the 396 and the W30 package. Starting a year earlier, the Buick Parts Department sought to address this issue with its offering of two tuning stages that could be more competitive on the strip. Enter the Stage I and II which embodied different levels of performance. The Stage I gave you more horsepower and an upgraded carburetor, fuel pump, high-lift crankshaft and heavy-duty valves springs. This 1969 GS Stage I has all those goodies and features the sleek redesign of the model year including a new grille and a sporty hood design featuring a power bulge with two louvered scoops that allow air to get to that hungry carb! The Stage I became an official option in 1969 with the headliner being the 400 CID V8 rated at 345 horsepower! This Buick rumbles with the numbers-matching engine and automatic transmission and smoothly launches thanks to a posi-rear 3.64 gears. Wearing beautiful Burgundy Mist PPG® paint and topped with a manual black top, this sporty classic is ready to ride and look good while doing it! Open the doors to reveal a crisp black vinyl interior with bucket seats and spacious interior. Wrap your hands around the sport steering wheel and easily shift with a familiar GM horseshoe shifter! Everything on this beauty has been gone through properly and the only thing you need to do is enjoy it! It’s not often you see complete examples of Buick’s performance vehicles, so act quickly so this GS doesn’t slip away! Additional features include Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel and Seat Belts. To view this 1969 Buick Gran Sport Stage I in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

This one off custom built 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 57 Chevy is hands down the most Iconic American ever made. The flowing fins are its classic signature mark and what most people think of when you say 57. They have even been able to stay relevant in the car world for over 60 years. This one off 57 can be simplified in word CLEAN. From the welded and smooth frame underneath to the two-tone paint job up top there is just no better to word to describe it. The car was taking down to bare metal with the only patch being a small one on the floor pan. The body was treated to 2 coats of epoxy primer then a high-build primer that was block sanded with a coat of urethane primer on top of that. The 3 coats of silver were then applied giving the car that great two tone look it has now. Protected by a total of 6 coats of clear giving it a mirror like finish. The billet specialty wheels really set the car off while helping to exaggerate its stance. Under the hood is more top-notch craftsmanship with the core support being the first thing you notice. Hoses have been routed through the fenders giving the engine bay a very clean look. The 383 stroker has been dressed up with a set of custom valve covers and matching breather. The power from that 383 is transferred via a TH350 transmission which shifts out just as it should. The 10 bolt posi rear-end has been filled with a set of 4.11 gears giving this 57-great acceleration. Inside you are surrounded by a custom red interior that has an original feel. Once you get in the vehicle it becomes evident that there have been some custom touches that really put this beauty over the top. The custom dash has been finished off with a set of custom gauges that really set the interior off. With the AC tied into the original controls and vents molded into the dash this must be one of the coolest interiors. If you have been looking for an extremely clean 57 that is a mix of new and old styling look no further. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air include, AC. AM/FM Radio, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this very impressive 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 for sale in our Detroit Showroom. 1968 marked the end of the first-generation Mustang Shelby production. The Shelby GT Mustang was offered as a higher performance model and was introduced into the Mustang line-up in 1965. This Mustang has had every aspect of its originality modified and is a mean machine. The first thing that anyone would notice walking up to this beast is the enormous supercharged and fuel injected 429 CID BOSS Ford Hemi Powered V8. The extensive work that has been done to this engine is out of this world. This beast has enough horsepower to pin you to your racing seat at the touch of the throttle. Remember, this is a fully authentic and documented 1968 Shelby Mustang which has underwent extensive modifications to be the biggest and best drag car at your local strip. This powerful Shelby is equipped with a highly modified 3-Speed Automatic C6 Transmission. The rear gear ratio is set up at 4.86 in the rear which allows for neck snapping power off the line. The enormous, sticky Mickey Thompson tires do a great job of keeping this Mustang planted and going in a straight line while flying down the drag strip. With less than 2000 miles since its complete rebuild, this Shelby is guaranteed to turn heads and snap necks on a daily basis. This pretty pony is wrapped in a shiny coat of Black along with metallic-flake gold racing stripes which are a Shelby trademark. This Shelby is also equipped with Power Brakes with a complete Wilwood set-up to ensure a safe stop after exceeding 150MPH in no time. The interior sports a full roll cage with Shelby style racing seats and racing harnesses to make sure you stay strapped in for the ride. This Shelby Mustang is sure to impress its next owner and you will be hard pressed to find one this nice. Although the 1956 Chevrolet Cameo was destined by price to never be a high-volume seller, it is of crucial historical importance, bringing passenger-car styling elements into the truck world for the first time in a serious way. It is highly valued in todays market by truck collectors. This truck has been owned by the same owner for 45 years and been in Las Vegas for the last 30. It is a complete nut & bolt frame-off restoration that has taken years to finish to perfection. Every piece of chrome or stainless has been restored or replated (not replaced) on this beautiful restoration, excluding the mirrors. The paint and bodywork is impeccable, with crisp paint lines, fresh trim bits, and excellent panel gaps. Even the rubber trim and glass are in as-new condition, with the chrome and all polished fittings following suit. This one of a kind gem has factory options that weren’t common, such as the unique windshield washer tank mounted on the firewall and the tool tray behind the seat. The smooth tailgate and ultra-cool rear end may not have been designed for farm use, but today this truck-in-a-tuxedo is prized for its landmark design and upscale image. Look under the hood to find a 265 C.I.D V8 being fed by a well-tuned tri-power intake. Couple this powerplant with a smooth shifting Hydromatic 4 speed tranny makes driving one of the finest “gentleman’s pickup” from the 50’s quite an experience, but this fine Cameo takes it over the top, providing unique style and great road manners that will make the owner of this 1956 Cameo proud to be seen cruising any neighborhood. Description:

1970 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA AAR for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda featured in Top Banana/Lemon Twist with black interior. He car is powered by the AAR 340CI/290HP V8 with triple 2-Barrel carburetors back by the optional automatic transmission. The car is one of 2,724 built of which 1,604 were ordered with the automatic. This car is in superb conditon in all respects and fully documented with factory build sheet and photos of components showing date code correct matching numbers. It is truly an investment-grade piece of American muscle car history. In 1970, Plymouth entered SCCA Trans-Am racing, contracting with Dan Gurneys All American Racers (AAR) to build and campaign cars to be driven by him and Swede Savage. At that time, SCCA homologation requirements dictated that a manufacturer build a minimum of 2,500 street versions in order to compete. The single-production-year AAR Cuda was special for that purpose, and 2,724 were built, all during a five-week period between March and April 1970.The street-version AAR had a 340cid V-8 topped by three 2-bbl Holley carburetors. The engine was underrated at 290 horsepower at 5,000 rpm. In addition to cylinder heads that were unique to this engine, the block had thicker main webs along with a forged crank and rods. Other special features included an aluminum intake manifold, larger brakes and a rear deck spoiler. A 4-speed manual transmission was standard, a HD 727 Torque Flight was optional. The car was equipped with a 3.55:1 rear axle ratio combined with Sure-Grip, and a 3.91:1 ratio as an option. The AAR suspension included special front and rear sway bars and heavy-duty shock absorbers. Heavy-duty rear leaf springs raised the rear end of the car to make room for the side-exiting exhaust and provided room for Goodyear G60X15 tires at the rear and E60X15 in the front, making the AAR Cuda the first American modern-day production vehicle to come with different-sized tires front to rear.A special textured flat-black finish was applied to the grille, hood, tops of the fenders and upper door edges and tail panel. The hood, proprietary to the AAR, was lightweight fiberglass, had a functional air scoop and contained hood pins holding it closed at the front. Despite lighter-weight hood springs, the hoods typically bowed within weeks of delivery. The exterior had a distinctive strobe stripe graphic running the length of the car ending at the rear with the red, white and blue AAR crest. The stripe itself comprises 75 individual segments of decreasing width. The AAR was priced at $3,966. (Historical information courtesy of Hagerty). This stunning AAR Cuda will be a valuable addition to either MoPar collectors, or to collectors of the unique and special muscle cars offered by all three American manufacturers in the golden age of unfettered high performance cars. This is one to show with pride.
