Description:

In late 1987, rumors of an all-new, high performance Corvette built upon the fourth generation platform began circulating among the automotive press. Dubbed the “King of the Hill, the secretive supercar was said to be a world-beater, and in March of 1989, GM debuted its impressive Corvette ZR-1 at the Geneva Motor Show. Even though this GM rocket ship has been around for 30 years, the ZR-1 remains a memorable piece of Corvette history, as well as a bridge from performance Corvettes past to the present. Chevrolet offered an RPO ZR1 option for the Corvette that included a 350-cu.in., 370-horsepower V-8 mated to a close-ratio four-speed transmission; heavy-duty brakes; a transistorized ignition; an aluminum radiator; and a heavy-duty suspension. Wisely, the configuration was not recommended for street driving, but those opting to exercise their Stingrays in a closed-course environment surely saw the benefits of this package. Its not often that you see these rare visions of motorsport royalty, but we have one here at Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City, and this beauty could be yours…if you call us today! Stop by today, have a cup of coffee and the nice folks from Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City will be glad to show you this amazing auto or any others from our ever changing inventory! Our beautiful showroom is located at 1202 South Lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061 To view this fantastic Corvette ZR-1 in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures @ gatewayclassiccars.com, or contact one of our professional sales staff at (913) 815-1340.

Description:

The Tampa Showroom is honored to be listing this 1963 Ford Thunderbird for sale. A bullet bird, how cool is this ride! This Thunderbird has a 390ci V-8 with an automatic transmission. The T-bird has a newer top and the interior has been lifted from the old to the new with carpet an, seats, and door panels. The newer paint looks very good and this bullet is ready for the road. During the build, new brakes, gas tank & lines, transmission serviced, a new Holly carburetor, driveshaft balanced, trunk mat kit, master cylinders, power booster, and multiple trim pieces. Heads have been hardened to accept regular gasoline. This bird comes with a cover, extra rear bumpers, original heads, carburetor, and fuel pump. All this work was completed 2012 and with only 535 miles put on the odometer since the build. The third generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a personal luxury car produced by Ford for the 1961 to 1963 model years. It featured new and much sleeker styling than the second generation models. Sales were strong, if not quite up to record-breaking 1960, at 73,051 including 10,516 convertibles. A new, larger 390 cu in 6.4 L FE-series V8 was the only engine available in 1961. The Thunderbird was 1961s Indianapolis 500 pace car, and featured prominently in US President John F. Kennedys inaugural parade, probably aided by the appointment of Ford executive Robert McNamara as Secretary of Defense. It shared some styling cues with the much smaller European Ford Corsair. Changes for 1963 were relatively mild. Some additions to the option list included vacuum assisted door locks and an AM/FM radio; an AM radio and a remote drivers side mirror became standard. Options include: Power Brakes, AM radio, Hub Caps, Power steering, power top, vinyl interior, tilt wheel, radial tires, power windows, . Description:

Our Nashville showroom digitally showcases this incredible 1984 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. My first impression upon seeing this classic was to remember the ad for this vehicle in Field and stream magazine featuring the Wagoneer parked under a tree while dad, dressed in his fishing gear baited the hooks and Mom unloaded the picnic basket. For those of you under 35, a magazine is like a newspaper only stapled in the middle and printed on glossy paper with lots of photos, but I digress. This Wagoneer has a fresh coat of off-white paint and wood grain but have no fear, no trees were harm as the wood grain used here is vinyl just like it came from the factory. The interior is a mixture of blue and tan and shows how much this Grand Wagoneer has been loved through the years. Powering this Jeep is a Chrysler 360 Cubic inch V8 that is bolted to a torque flight 727 3 speed automatic transmission that handles all the gear changes for you and sends the power to Dana 44 Axles to all four tires. Selec- trac four wheel drive, that is how Dad got to his favorite super secret fishing hole, or how the Bikini clad young ladies got their surf boards to the beach depending on the Magazine you where reading in 1984. These early SUVs where all about the outdoors, Campin, fishin or huntin, (not sure why but if you do it outdoors you have to leave the “G off) the Jeep Wagoneer was the way to get you there in style and get you home should the weather turn for the worst. Options for this 1984 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Cassette, Cruise control, Power steering, brakes, windows and lock, Vinyl interior, Seat belts, and Aluminum alloy wheel with radial tires. Not to mention four wheel drive so that you can drive your family past the cell signals to a place I call “Outside. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1934 Ford Sedan V8 Steel. If this car looks familiar that is with good reason. This 1934 Ford Sedan V8 Steel is eerily similar to the car Bonnie and Clyde stole in early 1934 that they ultimately died in. The exterior color is the same, however the true Bonnie Clyde car had 4 doors. For those of you watching Netflix, the recent film Highwaymen shows the Bonnie and Clyde car just as the one we have here! Cordoba Gray with reg wheels! This car is almost entirely original and unmolested .The top has not been chopped and the car is steel! The 221 cubic inch V8 purrs to life announcing all 85 horsepower and puts it down with a 3-speed manual transmission! This is a steel body, well-kept, and well-restored example of a desirable body style. Even the original tire pump is still in the vehicle. The owner had the engine rebuilt 5 years ago and has approximately 135 miles on the rebuild. The car runs and drives great! It is ready for shows and a new comfortable garage. 1934 Ford Sedan V8 Steel is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Now featured in our Atlanta showroom is this custom built1964 Ford F100 pickup that is sure to turn heads and burn tires! This monster motor pickup is powered by a crate 502 cu.in. aluminum head 460 big block, w/ Edelbrock Performer 460 aluminum intake, mated to a rebuilt C-6 automatic transmission, with a Ford 9 posi-traction rear end w/ 3:73 gears - all with 2,000-miles since being assembled! This puppy is pushing ~ 700-hp, and she doesnt try to hide it - as the 3 Dynamic exhaust w/ electronic gate valve, and side pipes - oh does she sound strong! The engine bay is detailed, w/ just the right amount of billet aluminum, chrome goodies, and a 4-core aluminum radiator. This 64 F-100 was taken down to bare metal, and the time was taken to correct any issues, along with getting her lines nice and even! Thats what it takes to make a show quality paint job look the way it should - and they hit the mark! She is painted in Glasurit AMG Metal Gray, that was carried into the cab, along with sprayed-in liner in the cargo area, and to say she shines- is an understatement! We need to mention the stance - she just sits right - and the wheel / tire combo - just solidifies it! The front suspension set up was pulled out of a 2000 Crown Victoria, and provides a much sportier feel - having power rack & pinion steering. You can bet she goes…you know you can steer, and what about stopping - well take a look at the 4-wheel disc brakes - thats covered! If they could just do something to stop the speeding tickets - Id buy it! The interior was updated by the addition of a carbon fiber insert/backdrop for the guage cluster, housing AutoMeter guages, ergonomic black bucket seats, B&M Pro shifter, billet tilt steering column, and custom door panel inserts. This truck turns a lot of heads and is a blast to drive! Options on this 1964 F-100 include; power brakes, power steering, spray-in liner, aluminum fuel tank, iPod w/ BlueTooth, aluminum wheels wrapped in P205/70R15, Mickey Thomson 28X12.WR15LT tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to produce this 1998 Harley Davidson FXSTS for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. Nothing makes a bold statement like sitting on the saddle of a Harley and revving up a choppy loud bike riddled with chrome. This bike takes the simple and proud concept further with limitless amounts of customization. This bike is built off of a FXSTS platform but when is all and said and done it is anything but that. The Harley grabs you with a massive amount of chrome that spans from the diamond cut spokes, to the drag pipes, to the 1340 CC polished V Twin engine which has the heads milled .060, bumping the compression up to 9:1. Larger valves were also added to the engine internals as well as Screaming Eagle adjustable push rods and valve springs as well as an Andrew EV 27 camshaft. All this rolled together makes for a snarling mean sound paired with a dyno proven performance of 105 horsepower. The snarling power plant is paired to a polished 6-speed transmission making for concise shifts under a hefty amount of power. The customizations do not end there as this bike dons a custom paint job featuring flames in shades of green, purple, and blue which contrasts beautifully against the overwhelming amount of chrome this bike features. The Harley also has the rear bagged on air, which makes for an impressive stance when parked and wanting to show this beauty off. Whether youre looking to ride on a gorgeous day on the weekend or youre just headed to a show looking to nap a trophy or two, this bike easily serves both purposes and should not be passed on. This 1998 Harley Davidson FXSTS is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video.
