Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 1957 Thunderbird for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom. The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and is credited in developing a new market segment - the personal luxury car. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a hood scoop and a 150 mph (240 km/h) speedometer hinting at a higher performance nature that other Fords didnt possess. The Thunderbirds 102.0 inches wheelbase frame was mostly a shortened version of that used in other Fords. This car has been repainted a number of years ago but still looks great. It has a power seat, Town & Country seeking radio, and muffler just replaced. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LVS/37/1957-Ford-Thunderbird. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (702) 830-9215 or email us at LasVegas@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Las Vegas Showroom, located at 6580 S Lindell Road Suite 300, Las Vegas, NV 89118.

Description:

This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Galaxie name was used on Fords full-size cars from 59 to 61 to try and cash in on the excitement of the space race. Starting in 1962 they added the 500 and 500 XL to the name plate in order to denote its top of the line cars. Competing head to head with Chevrolets Impala SSs, the full-size convertible market was very tough but the Fords held their own all the way to 1974 when the line was finally discontinued. This beauty is a great example of what the 60s were all about. The body of the car is extremely straight and is believed to be retaining its original panels. The Skylight Blue paint looks like glass and is probably nicer than when she left the factory. The black vinyl top looks great but lets face it this car is all about top down fun. Especially when they see whats under the hood. This numbe4rs matching 390 is one of the most sought-after engines for 1964. Backed by a 4 speed transmission this Galaxie screams 1960s. The inside of this big block drop top is one of the nicest I have seen. The dark blue is a great contrast against the light blue exterior. The bucket seats are separated by a center console with the 4-speed shifter right where it should be. All in all, this 64 is a great example of a 500XL that can be driven as much as you care to drive it. This 390 500XL only has 1000 miles since the restoration and is ready for the next owner to turn the key and smash the gas. Options on this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Powered Convertible Top, Wire Wheel Hub Caps and White Wall Radial Tires. This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1970 Olds 442 Cloned to a W30 Completely Restored In and Out! Rally Red, with Black Interior Like Brand New In and out !!!

This is a Real Deal 442, 455 with 5 Speed TREMEC Manual Transmission

Custom Gauges Oldsmobile Rally Wheels Factory Hurst Shifter

Fresh Frame Off Restoration
Over $70k Invested. You Will Not Find a Nicer 442 Anywhere !!! You're looking at a real-deal 1970 Oldsmobile 442 hardtop coupe with a long list of cool modern upgrades from digital gauges to a five-speed manual transmission.

These big bold 442 coupes always look best in Rally Red. After all, they are kin to Chevy's legendary aggressive Hugger Orange. These are the sleek kings of the streets, with the fastback profile, red inner fender wells, and bulging quarter panels.

This one continues to hit all the right notes with W-30 badging, ram air hood, twist lock hood pins, and spoiler on the rear deck. The intricate black stripes do a great job of highlighting the aggressive look.

This A-body retains its unique Oldsmobile identity thanks to chrome bumpers (correctly notched in the rear) and a few bright stainless trim pieces that really dress it up - especially on the Olds-specific rallye wheels.

The black interior is pure Oldsmobile. The handsome button-pattern buckets have to be this perfect because they attract so much attention. In between the buckets is the optional center console that's a very desirable option. Of course, as an Olds, there's plenty of burled walnut applique on the dash, door panels, and console. And, when the wood is this nice, it actually does a very nice job of adding character to the interior.

Everyone benefits from features like the AM/FM radio and heat/defrost, but this is a true driver's car at heart. The four-spoke sports steering wheel should look familiar to any Olds fan, but beyond that is a set of blue digital gauges, to give this vintage muscle machine a cool modern touch. And that's not the only interior upgrade...you have counted the gears on the shift knob right?

Under the hood is exactly what you expect to see in a 442, a big block motor. In '71 buyers really wanted a 455 cubic-inch V8 like this one.

You can tell by the engine bay that this is car show ready from the moment you pop the hood. It carries a lot of original pieces like the air cleaner, but you can also see bright upgrades in the shining valve covers, and ceramic coated headers. That latter upgrade is part of a long tube setup that connects to a Flowmaster dual exhaust sytem. So you know this one has a loud bark and the bite to back it up.

Part of the origins of the 4- 4-2 name included four-on-the-floor, but this one goes one step further. There is a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual connected to the monster motor to make sure you can always stay in the powerband.

To make sure this reliably gets to the road, the power is sent through a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. But there's more to the Olds than just muscle. That extra gear means overdrive cruising, and the power steering, front power disc brakes, and modern Turbo-Tech GT tires all make this 442 handle nicely on a Sunday drive.

You're looking for a VIN 334 Olds 442, and you've found it, with all the right features already installed. It's priced right to move just as fast as this big-block coupe can take it.

Visit Hollywood Motors online at www.hollywoodmotorsusa.com to see more pictures of this vehicle or call us at 516-CAR-GUYS today to schedule your test drive.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia is thrilled to offer this extraordinary piece of American automotive history, a two-owner 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 with just over 24,100 actual miles! This legendary car was built for one reason and one reason only… win races. The battle for waged upon the speedways of the NASCAR circuit with the top dogs, Chrysler and Ford fighting for dominance each weekend. Chrysler’s introduction of the 426 Hemi engine in 1964 rocked the racing world and prompted Ford to come up with a necessary response. The answer, the Boss 429, a mythical powerplant designed to run longer and stronger than the famed Hemi. In accordance to NASCAR’s rule requiring manufacturers to release a limited number of legal street versions to the public, Ford chose the Mustang to be the recipient of this mighty power. The Boss 429 was derived from the 385 series engines, bored out and stroked to 429 cubic inches and topped with aluminum semi-hemispherical cylinder heads designed to move a lot of air. The impressive engine’s size required extensive modifications to the Mustang body and Ford contracted Kar Kraft® to carry out the task. Basic sportsroof Mustangs were sent to Brighton, MI where they underwent front-end modifications to accommodate the 429. Once in place, they made several other changes to the car include repositioning of the battery to the trunk, ¾” rear sway bar, manually controlled hood scoop and a 3.91 ratio rear axle with a limited slip differential! Production began in 1968 and oversaw 859 Boss 9s completed, two of which were Mercury Cougars. This is one of those revered vehicles in true survivor form! Wearing its original Candy Apple Red paint, this Boss is truly a rare find! Purchased new at Don Rice Ford in Bedford, PA in May 1969, this Boss retains 99% of the original components found on it including Autolite® belts! All factory chalk marks are still present and visible! How often do you come upon unique details like that?! It’s all there including the floor mounted shift lever, flawless high back vinyl bucket seats, deluxe seat belts, color keyed racing mirrors and handsome woodgrain paneling! Turn the key to hear the sweet rumble of the 429 that conveys the message that the Boss means business. This car has been meticulously maintained by its current owner for over forty years. This Mustang is a true time capsule that continues to tell the incredible story of performance innovation and preserves American automobile history. The opportunity to own a piece of history is now here and it calls for someone to be the next keeper of legends, is it you? Additional features include Original Bill of Sale and an Elite Marti Report by Marti Auto Works®, AM/FM Radio with Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Seat Belts. To view this 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this red 1972 Jaguar XKE. The E-Type is one of the icons of its generation as it made great head way with the high performance, low pricing, and sleek beauty all in one. This ’72 XKE features the strong and original 5.3L V12 which is still in great running condition. Its stated by the owner that the mileage is original to the car, however the engine has been rebuilt. The engine was rebuilt roughly 10,000 miles ago along with the rear differential. What was done to the engine was the stock pistons removed and replaced with forged 10.5 compression Venolia pistons and rings. High lift and duration cam shafts were also installed. The engine is mated up to a Richmond Racing 6-speed manual transmission which allows you to run through the powerband with a smile on your face. This car may not be the cleanest of the Jaguars out there but a great driver and a good start into the classic car world. A survivor is the best way to describe this ’72 Jaguar XKE that we have here for sale. With a few blemishes, it simply adds history to the car and shows that even after 47 years a car can still run like a champ. The interior has been completely restored less than 6 months ago and is in great condition. The tan vinyl interior has been restored to replicate the original leather interior the car had. Sitting in the driver’s seat feels like you’re sitting in a cockpit to a fighter jet. With the main control panel centered on the dash you can see it gives it that aircraft feel. Description:

We are proud to offer this Viper Yellow 1932 Ford Roadster with a beautiful Carson hard top for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis. Originally re-built in 2010, it has accumulated only 10,626 miles since that time. Options for this 1932 Ford Roadster include: iPod Connector, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Powering this beautiful 32 Roadster is a 350 CID V8 with a mild cam, aluminum intake, and a Holley air cleaner. A TH350 automatic transmission transfer the power to the Ford 9 rear end. This build features the highly desired combination of a Downs 32 Roadster body on a TCI frame. More recent modifications include a new holley carburetor, new aluminum radiator, and a fan powered space-heater under the dashboard. This 32 Ford drives and handles great courtesy of the coil-overs on all 4 corners, and stops on a dime with the power disc front brakes. Thanks to the Rack-and-Pinion and Coilovers to an Early Mustang, this roadsters drives, turns, and just flatly feels better than your typical roadster. Thats is, it rides like a car, rather than a death trap. The professionally laid Dodge Viper Yellow paint looks amazing and features subtle flames on the hood and doors. The tan leather interior is also in excellent condition, free from any rips, tears, or wear. The white faced VDO gauges wrapped in a polished alloy cluster housing provide the perfect look for this yellow dash and tan interior. The tilt wheel makes entering and exiting the car very easy. The tan cloth top is does not fold down, but it is removable by simply removing a few bolts, making this Roadster look great with the top on or off. Finally, the staggered American Racing aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GTIIs provide an awesome stance and Hot Rod look. To view this 1932 Ford Roadster in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. 1968 AMC AMX for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this rare and stunning 1968 AMC AMX Coupe featured in #47A Rally Green with White stripes and Green interior featuring a handsome set of Black sport bucket seats. This car has benefited from a complete nut & bolt restoration on a documented California car that was done 12 years ago, but still presents with only the slightest sign of use. The AMX was AMCs entry into the compact sports coupe arena and differed from its GM, Ford and MoPar competition by virtue of its short wheelbase and two-seat configuration. Our car has the largest motor available, the 390 CI V8 with a 4 BBL carb at 315 HP. The car was upgraded to a slick-shifting T5 5-speed manual gearbox and tilt steering column. It has power steering and brakes, Twin Grip rear, and rides on a set of black 5-spoke wheels with polished lips and 215/65 R15 tires. The car includes the original manuals. On the road this AMX is fast and well-sorted. It is the nicest example we have seen.

Porsche executives believed such a flagship would have wider appeal than the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult 911.The 928 has the distinction of being the company's first production V8 powered model and only coupe powered by a front-mounted V8 engine.
