Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10. The first prototype was tested in January 1989. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 when Dodge was forced to substitute it in place of the Japanese-built Dodge Stealth because of complaints from the United Auto Workers, and went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The Dodge Viper underwent a major redesign in 2002, courtesy of DaimlerChryslers Street and Racing Technology group. The new Viper SRT-10, which replaced both the GTS and the RT/10, was heavily restyled with sharp, angled bodywork. The engines displacement was increased to 8.3 L (506.5 cu in), which increased output to 500 bhp and 525 lb•ft. Despite the power increases, engine weight was reduced to about 500 lb (230 kg). The chassis was also improved, becoming more rigid and weighing approximately 80 lb (36 kg) less than the previous model. This beautiful red Viper looks just as good as the day it was sold off the showroom floor. This 1 owner Dodge Viper has only 4282 miles on the odometer. This brutal masterpiece of American Muscle has been garage kept and never been rained on as of this writing. The garage was climate controlled to stay cool in the summers, and toasty warm in the winters. Insert the key, twist to on, push the start button and that distinctive Viper V-10 sound is instantly recognize. This 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10 includes; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD player, Manual Convertible Top, Leather Interior, Seat belts, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Power Brakes, Power Door Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats, Remote Keyless Entry, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped in Michelin Performance Radial tires. He also states the V-12 engine, rated at 300-hp, was a complete rebuild, back to factory specs in 2005, excluding a mild cam, and has ~5,000-miles on it. He bought this beauty in that same year -and had her repainted 3 years later. These classics have been considered a touring masterpiece of timeless design, by many car enthusiasts. Designed by Malcom Sayer, the Jaguar XKE went through many technical changes over the years but never lost its original design appeal. Three different series models were produced during the XKE run. The series 3 was only available as a coupe 2+2 and convertible “roadster models. From 1971-1975 7,200 2+2s were produced. The XKE can be distinguished as the car that sparred industry changes in both state- of- the art technology and safety improvements. With such advancements as rack and pinion steering and independent front and rear coil spring suspension. Such early technology that we take for granted in todays automotive world. Jaguar was one of the first manufactures to build a car that was not only fast but could handle curves and corners with ease. This Jaguar 2+2 comes with the desirable 5.3-liter V-12 engine mated to an automatic transmission. This fine example is also a factory a/c car, and should make her that much more desirable! The 5.0 V8 was bored 10/1000ths, the crank was polished, and the engine was reassembled with all new components including pistons, rings, bearings, valves, lifters, and injectors. All engine accessories AC condenser, alternator, power steering pump, water pump, crank pulley, and brackets were chromed and shine bright under the hood. Coated headers flow from the heads to the full exhaust and provide a nice growl out the back. The same 86 Mustang provided the AOD Ford automatic transmission, which was professionally rebuilt before being installed in the Zephyr. A Currie 9 rear end houses 3.50 gears and puts the power to the pavement. A 4 Bar AirRide suspension system provides the perfect stance, while Wilwood disc brakes stop this Lincoln on a dime. A power rack and pinion steering provides effortless maneuverability no matter the driving situation. The odometer reads 8,268, which represents the total mileage on the car since the build was complete in 2007. Options for this 1937 Lincoln Zephyr include: Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Drivers Seat, Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Keyless Entry, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This Zephyr build provides an iconic look with modern conveniences , and is ready to shine at your local show or cruise. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this one-of-a-kind 1968 Chevrolet C10 pick-up truck. This amazing C10 is the recipient of a frame-off restoration approximately 2400 miles ago. To bring it to this level required 1000-plus hours and well over $70,000 spent. No shortcuts were taken on this build. The Heartbeat of America found under the hood is a re-manufactured Jasper unit featuring four bolt mains and putting out a healthy 370 HP. All of these ponies transmit the power through a built Turbo 350 transmission and then into a 12 bolt rear axle with 4.10 gearing. Chrome dress-up parts include the starter, alternator, master cylinder and booster, air cleaner, and valve covers. Polished parts include the intake manifold, and an engraved radiator upper panel. Underneath, all the brake, steering, exhaust, and suspension components are new. The 18 wheels have just recently been added, really finishing off this classy little Chevy. Inside, a Painless Performance wire harness modernizes the C10s electrical needs. An up-dated stereo system and a Vintage Air heat/defrost/AC ensures that the passengers are comfortable sitting on the custom leather seats and console. A unique feature is the painted floors. The trucks vitals are monitored via Sport Comp gauges in a custom aluminum dash panel. A chrome Ididit steering column is controlled by an old school woodgrained wheel. Where this truck really knocks out anybody that sees it is the exterior. All body panels and components were either straightened or simply replaced. Check out that really cool all steel cowl-induction hood! Custom features are all over this gorgeous truck, too many to list here. Rhinoliner covers the inner fenderwells and the bed features a full-show wood bed. Naturally, all new weatherstripping and tinted glass was installed at final assembly. The quality workmanship, fit and finish, and everything new throughout this custom Chevy could not be duplicated today for under $100,000. At our asking price, youre money ahead and you can drive and enjoy this perfectly-built C10. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this 1968 Chevy C10, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting this awesome 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R. While most Mustangs of this era arent even remotely collectible, the Cobra R easily qualifies for an exception. Besides being rare, only 300 built, the Cobra R was the most track-focused Mustang since the original Shelby GT350. The Ford Special Vehicles Team, SVT went all out with this Mustang.: The 5.4 V8 rated at 385 hp Horsepower @ 6250 rpm and 385 lbs.-ft. Torque: @ 4250 rpm, 6 speed transmission and independent rear suspension combined to make Cobra R the hottest Mustang since the original GT 350s. The exterior of the Cobra is by far one of its most noticeable features. Three things catch your eye right away. First being the massive rear wing. It is a non-adjustable pedestal style wing that creates much needed down force on the track. Second being the exclusive hood that features a large bulge to give more clearance to the monster engine hiding underneath. Lastly the truly distinctive front chin spoiler that is attached to a 1999 Cobra bumper with Dzus fasteners. The chin spoiler features an air splitter designed to create down force and get cooler air into the engine compartment. The interior at first glance doesnt look drastically different from a standard Mustang. Modifications include a set of Recaro Race Seats to keep both the driver and the lucky passenger firmly planted in their seats. The rear seat has been deleted by the factory. The SVT Team saw it fit to remove most of the un-needed options and materials such as sound deadening material, under coating, stereo and air-conditioning. The speedometer reads out a whopping 180 MPH to let you know this factory race car means business. One of the few power control features that remained are power windows, locks and mirrors. The Cobra R gets the exhaust gas out just as effectively as it pulls air in, thanks to a custom high flow exhaust system. Starting at the cylinder heads, the exhaust gas exits via a custom tubular steel exhaust manifold and enters a catted X pipe. The exhaust gasses exit via a custom side exit exhaust kit built by Borla Exhaust. The side exit exhaust is a necessity due to the large Fuel Safe fuel cell located at the rear of the Mustang. To view this 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a collection of gas dragsters “Gassers” for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This one, “Slimer”, is a 1941 Willys coupe fiberglass body on a custom frame powered by a 355 Chevrolet engine driving through a 400 Turbo transmission. It is a C/Gas dragster with a 9” Ford Posi rear end with a 3.83:1 ratio. It has seat belts, leather racing seats, and Cragar wheels. Since it is a street or strip vehicle, it features an AM/FM CD player. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term “Gasser” refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in “heads up” drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run “grudge matches” for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as “the gasser war years,” which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. The most common base vehicles were Willys coupes, Austin and Anglia sedans, and the Chevy Tri-Five cars. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view this gas dragster, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. To see this 1941 Willys C/Gas dragster is person, stop by our showroom located at 4400 West 96th Street, Carmel, IN 46268. https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NDY/1165/1941-Willys-Coupe
