Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is happy to be hosting this gloss black 1951 Mercury Sedan at the Milwaukee Showroom. Mercury has always been one of those sister companies to Ford alongside Lincoln, being another alternative brand that would offer different pricing options as well as different optional equipment while never cheapening out the outstanding quality that Ford had been recognized for. Under the large hood of this black beauty lies a Ford based flathead V8. The flathead has often been looked at as the pinnacle of hot-roddable engines from its aftermarket parts, widespread use in various different vehicles, down to its unmistakable exhaust note. To say that this thing is packing a legend under the hood is an understatement. Backing this reputable power plant is an automatic 2-speed “Hydromatic transmission, which found to be quite the option back then as most vehicles were found with a 3-speed column shifted manual transmission. Opening the door to this car, youll see that the cloth interior is inviting from its comfortable setup to its excellent cosmetic shape. The Mercury also has the period correct hub caps on it as well as white wall tires, helping solidify this cars old but beautiful look. This 1951 Mercury Sedan is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Any and all questions can be answered by our knowledgeable staff by calling (262) 891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@GatewayClassicCars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Dallas is proud to offer This 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe that just hopped off the rotisserie and looks outstanding both inside and out. Equipped with an upgraded modern suspension, its as well suited to handle the demands of modern driving as it is to take on the competition on the show circuit. Ford created its Deluxe line to cater to a growing demand for more outwardly luxurious cars, and added some great styling touches in their pursuit - the art-deco front grille, high set pair of rear windows and dramatically curved rear roofline being obvious right off. All that aesthetic panache is covered in black paint thats been very recently applied with obvious great care and features a strong clearcoat on top to produce a new-car shine. Theres a lot of impressive fresh chrome on display - the center panel of the front grille, the teardrop shaped headlight casings whose custom appearance belies their factory origin, and side trim that runs the length of the car and seems to match the curvature of the roof life as it ends in back. The thorough restoration has also left this Ford with glass on all four sides thats surrounded by fresh rubber seals. Its just a great looking vintage sedan on all accounts. The red leather interior is a driving environment youll definitely appreciate being surrounded by. The brand new bench seating in front and back has yet to bear the weight of any passengers on the road, so they still have a showroom appearance. Top to bottom, back to front and side to side, theres a lot of room inside this cabin, making for a very comfortable experience out on the road - even tall passengers can stretch out in back. Theres also a lot of attention to detail shown, and the matching door panels and headliner provide a very finished look. The dark red dash area just beyond the chrome tilt column features an inspired updating of its original configuration and very well prepped steel that has a liquidy gloss to it. Aftermarket Dolphin gauges look awesome in the textured chrome of the instrument cluster, with their dark faces and vintage-looking font, and the analog clock recessed into the passenger side glove box is a great added detail. Theres a pair of in-dash vents on each side to bring the climate-controlled work of the Vintage Air into the cabin to keep everyone comfortable. Raise the generously-sized deck lid in back and youll find a very spacious storage area lined with fresh red carpeting. Mechanically speaking, this Ford features an array of components that make it very well positioned to handle everyday driving conditions. A 350 cubic inch V8 sits under the tapered hood, activated by a keyless lever inside the cabin. Its ready for action, firing right up, sounding great and looking right at home in its vintage compartment carrying its chrome air cleaner on top. It pairs with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission thats also fresh, for a very road-ready drivetrain. A modern front suspension, designed and built by Chassis Engineering, Inc. sits below this stylish sedan, and it offers a level of design unattainable in vintage form, with its power rack and pinion steering, coilover front suspension and front disc brakes. This pre-War classic sits on a set of 15 Moon Cap wheels with Ford branded chrome centers, wearing Nexen tires in front and Cyclone Radial GT tires in back. This 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe has the visual magnetism to turn heads on the street or at car shows and will be an absolute blast to drive. Call today! This 1940 Ford is offered for sale by our Dallas Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. With just under 18,000 miles on the odometer this SVT Cobra it is just barely broken in and ready to stretch its legs. In 1996 Ford SVT changed things up a bit and slid a hand built all aluminum, dual over head cam 4.6 Liter V8 into the engine bay. This engine boasted 65 horses more than the 5.0 the year before. The factory told us it made 305 Horsepower and moved the pony car from 0 to 60MPH in less than 6 seconds and reached a top speed of 152MPH This was in my opinion the shot from Ford saying “hey, the muscle car war is not over! Yet and then Dodge said hellcat, and it was. This 1996 Mustang is a great survivor that remains unmolested and unhurt. The bright red exterior and tan leather interior have a classic look that is timeless. This 1996 Mustang Everything going for it and it is destine to be held in high regard in the future. I just wish Ford had made the engine .4 of a liter bigger as saying lets take my 4.6 is not as cool as saying lets take my 5.0. Options for this Ford Mustang SVT Cobra includes: Air conditioning, AM/FM cassette with CD player, Cruise control, power steering and brakes, Power windows and seats, Keyless entry, anti-theft system, Radial tires, Alloy rims and leather interior. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this wonderful 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Edition for sale in our St. Louis showroom. During the last two years of its run, Pontiac offered a special engine and appearance package known as the Turbo Trans Am. Due to the increasing emissions restrictions, Pontiac dropped all its large displacement engines, including the venerable 400 CID V8 following the 1979 model year. Along with a conventional 305 CID small-block V8, Pontiac offered the first forced induction production engine, a turbo charged 301 V8 in 1980-81. The 4.9L Turbo was unique in that it had a stronger block with thicker cylinder walls and a lower compression ratio given the increased pressure created by the turbo system. Also included were newly developed internals including forged pistons, high pressure oil pump, a roller fillet crankshaft with 2 counterbalances, fully baffled oil pan and turbo specific exhaust manifolds. The 301 Turbo was officially factory rated at 210hp and 345lb ft of torque and mated to a TH350 automatic transmission and 3.08 Posi rear end. In 1980, Johnny Rutherford won his 3rd Indianapolis 500, a race that featured the 1980 Turbo Trans Am as the Official Pace Car. This beautiful limited-edition model shows its original Cameo White exterior and Oyster White interior finishes and the owner states 15,505 original miles! The numbers matching vehicle includes T-Tops, AM/FM Stereo Cassette, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Cloth and Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and ice-cold AC. Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer a beautiful 1950 Willys Jeepster. In 1908, John North Willys purchased the Overland Automotive Company based out of Indianapolis Indiana. Within a years time, the company was renamed Willys-Overland and by 1912 they had become Americas second-largest car producer, following Ford. Willys biggest accomplishment was the mass production of military Jeeps for the war in which they manufactured approximately 360,000 Jeepsters! While the late 1940s had Willys occupied with building military Jeeps, Willys re-introduced the Jeepster to the public in 1948. For 1950, the Willys was the recipient of revamped styling and also carried the new 4-cylinder engine under the hood. This specific 1950 Willys Jeepster received a full, frame-off restoration in 1995. This 1950s Willys Jeepster is packing the more powerful Inline 6-Cylinder motor which provides plenty of scoots for this Jeepster to move around town. The 6-Cylinder is paired to a 3-Speed Manual 3 On The Tree transmission. The exterior of this beautiful Willys is sporting a coat of two-tone Green which has been painted to factory gloss. The interior of this gorgeous Jeepster is wrapped in a newly upholstered black vinyl which matches the black Convertible top and window panels nicely. Options on this Jeepster include Manual Convertible Top, Chrome Willys Hub Caps, and Wide White Wall tires which give this Willys its original appeal. Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am! The Second-generation Pontiac Firebird Trams Am features some of the most beloved and iconic models produced including the rare 1970 Ram Air III, the black & gold 1977 Smokey & the Bandit Special Edition, and the 1979 10th Anniversary Edition. During the last two years of its run, Pontiac offered a special engine and appearance package known as the Turbo Trans Am. Due to the increasing emissions restrictions, Pontiac dropped all its large displacement engines, including the venerable 400cid V8 following the 1979 model year. Along with a conventional 305 CID small-block V8, Pontiac offered the first forced induction production engine, a turbocharged 301 V8 in 1980-81. The 4.9L Turbo was unique in that it had a stronger block with thicker cylinder walls and a lower compression ratio given the increased pressure created by the turbo system. Also included were newly developed internals including forged pistons, a high-pressure oil pump, a roller fillet crankshaft with 2 counterbalances, a fully baffled oil pan, and turbo-specific exhaust manifolds. The 301 Turbo was officially factory rated at 210hp and 345 lb. ft of torque and mated to a TH350 automatic transmission and 3.08 Posi rear end. This PHS Documented Indy PaceCar Trans Am has the Window Sticker, PHS Docs, factory manuals. 2 owners since new.
