Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is very excited to offer this 1958 Ford Custom 300 Hot Rod. The builder of the car stated to GCC that what he spent his time on - was what one doesnt see. The car was rotisserie restored - with the emphasis on the complete under carriage, and suspension. She is detailed in epoxy red oxide primer, with new fuel tank, and lines, 1955 Chevrolet power steering box, front disc brakes, ladder bar suspension out back w/ 9 Posi-Traction 3:70 rear end, coil over shocks at all 4-corners, and large diameter front/rear sway bars! She isnt just a car show for the ants - this car will handle and ride like she should. If it werent for the American Racing Torque Flight wheels - we may just call her a sleeper! Painted in a 2-tone 2-stage Blue-White-Blue paint scheme from her vintage, and is considered a good driver quality paint job, and for the majority of lookers - it would not matter!! Her color scheme and stance, w/ those wheels, and did we mention all the chrome and SS - this car grabs attention - trust me! The trim and bumpers all appear to be original - and in very good condition with minor patina. Under the hood sits a rebuilt 1966 Mercury 410 Big Block, which is a 390 block that Mercury then implanted a 428 crank into, that has an aluminum intake w/ a Holley tri-power sitting on top! He also stated based on odometer - she has ~1,500iles since installed in 2015, which makes for a low mileage power plant, mated to a rebuilt top-loading wide ratio 4-speed w/ Hurst shifter, to the new Ford 9. The next high-light is the sound - with a set of long tube headers, w/ exhaust extensions for future open-header times, w/ H-tube, 2.5 exhaust pipes and tail pipes - this thing sounds so - strong! Open the door and youre greeted to what appears to be the original, 2-tone vinyl interior done in Blue and White, excluding the bench seat covers, and carpet. It is amazing how well she appears, as you can tell this car has been taken care of, with only some minor patina on door frame - says it all for this cars history. Sit inside and let the nostalgia of the 50s kick in - because if you were cruising - you most likely had the tach on the dash, and the oil/amp/temp gauges were under the dash, only today you can blast some tunes on the four pioneer speakers from either the AM/FM/CD stereo, hidden in her glove box. Open the hood, and the engine looks as clean as the rest of the vehicle, with an aluminum radiator, and that Tri-Power set up-just makes the statement! Options for this 1958 300 include; vinyl interior, power steering, disc brakes, Pioneer AM/FM/CD, American Racing Torque Flight wheels w/ BF GoodRich P215/70R15, P295/50R60 Radial T/A tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this wonderful 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Edition for sale in our St. Louis showroom. During the last two years of its run, Pontiac offered a special engine and appearance package known as the Turbo Trans Am. Due to the increasing emissions restrictions, Pontiac dropped all its large displacement engines, including the venerable 400 CID V8 following the 1979 model year. Along with a conventional 305 CID small-block V8, Pontiac offered the first forced induction production engine, a turbo charged 301 V8 in 1980-81. The 4.9L Turbo was unique in that it had a stronger block with thicker cylinder walls and a lower compression ratio given the increased pressure created by the turbo system. Also included were newly developed internals including forged pistons, high pressure oil pump, a roller fillet crankshaft with 2 counterbalances, fully baffled oil pan and turbo specific exhaust manifolds. The 301 Turbo was officially factory rated at 210hp and 345lb ft of torque and mated to a TH350 automatic transmission and 3.08 Posi rear end. In 1980, Johnny Rutherford won his 3rd Indianapolis 500, a race that featured the 1980 Turbo Trans Am as the Official Pace Car. This beautiful limited-edition model shows its original Cameo White exterior and Oyster White interior finishes and the owner states 15,505 original miles! The numbers matching vehicle includes T-Tops, AM/FM Stereo Cassette, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Cloth and Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and ice-cold AC. This piece of history is located at our St. Louis showroom. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1965 Chevrolet Nova. Some call these wonderful cars Chevy II, some duce coupes others Nova but from what I have heard Nova means not going in Spanish which I think is Tonto, look it up. Yes, the lone ranger called his sidekick Fool for years as in “Fool, go to town and get the Sheriff. OK, so much for the Spanish lesson. This incredible 1965 Chevy II has one sweet paint job! Bright Orange as in, what was that bright orange object that just passed me? For years, these Duce coupes have been targeted as the perfect car to slide a huge horsepower engine in to and then go racing. This is one of them. The 350 Cubic inch Chevrolet small block providing the power for this car is more than adequate to get the groceries home before the ice cream melts and embarrass the Mustang beside you, well almost. The engine bay is packed with go fast goodies like, Wieland® Team G single plane intake, Holley® double pumper 4-barrel Carburetor, MSD® distributor and ignition box 6al, and long tube headers. This little duce coupe hits a lick! Backing this mighty mouse is a powerglide 2 speed automatic transmission that is controlled via a Hurst® ratchet shifter. I believe the rear axle housing is a 12-bolt gm but must admit that I am not good at identifying these, guess I am a little tonto. Power brakes with disc up front and drum in the rear handle the task of bringing all these ponies to a stop. The interior is Taupe vinyl on the bucket front seat and bench back and is not cluttered by power window and heated seat switches because, SPEED has no need for these things. This is an incredible car, fun to drive, great to look at and no melted ice cream and thats not tonto! Options for this 1965 Chevy dos include: AM radio but who needs music with the beautiful notes coming from the exhaust, Power brakes, ok, you need those, Seat belts, check, Vinyl interior and radial tires wrapped around Alloy rims. This 1965 Chevrolet Nova can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD photos at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette. No car in American automotive history is as compelling as the Chevrolet Corvette. No matter the year, they are easily recognizable as corvettes by the general population. The C3s are well known but many forget the colossal difference in value with the earlier C3s, the chrome bumper models. It might as well be night and day! When you are seen driving a Corvette you get noticed. Walking around the car you will notice the paint is older, like all things wear with time, proven if you will. But there is a surprise with this one. If there was an Attention Meter for being noticed in a Corvette, a red 1970 Corvette with black interior, t-tops and a four-speed transmission would certainly rate very high on the meter! This red 1970 Chevrolet Corvette is just that! Featuring an engine bay stuffed with a Skip White Performance 383 Stroker V8 and believed 500 fire breathing ponies, this red rocket is ready for you to fall into the drivers seat, grab a hand full of gears and be at one with the road! Engine has around 5k miles on it since the rebuild 3 years ago. At that time it had new four speed fan, and electric fuel pump. Since then current owner added new exhaust, suspension, clutch plate, U joints in the half shafts, refurbished instrument console, new gear shifter, new t top seals, and more! If that is not enough to get your blood pumping, add power steering, power brakes, Rally style wheels and leather interior! This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
