Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer this awesome two-owner purple 1999 Plymouth Prowler. When this car rolls down the street all gearheads know exactly what kind of car this is, and even the non-enthusiast auto lovers turn to look when this baby cruises past. The Prowler was a revolutionary design at a time when it seemed like most cars had started to all look the same. One of the most interesting (and cool looking) design features of the Prowler is the open-wheel-style front end, with its aluminum control arms in full view. Under the hood, youll find its original 253 HP 24-valve 3.5L V6, and youll also see the massive inboard Koni coilover shocks. Backing the potent V6 is a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission, located near the rear and connected to the engine by a torque tube, which rotates at the same RPM as the engine. This powertrain layout also results in a nearly ideal 50/50 weight distribution, vastly improving handling. This potent purple Prowler sits on new Continental sport performance radials (245/45ZR17 up front, 295/40R20 out back), which, combined with its new rubber and its original aluminum racing-inspired chassis, contributes to a dazzling driving experience. These Prowlers are fun to drive! While this one does have an aftermarket chrome grille, the original body-color grille comes with it. In the cockpit, both occupants will enjoy the comfortable dark charcoal leather bucket seats, cold air conditioning, custom-looking body-color-painted dash, and hours of music available via the AM/FM/Cassette Radio with its multi-disc CD changer. Additional features and options on this 1999 Prowler for sale include Aluminum Wheels, Anti-theft System, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Manual Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Leather Seating, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. This car has a clean Carfax and looks as nice as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. For more information on this 1999 Plymouth Prowler, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/2063 . Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this sharp 1977 Chevrolet Camaro. The second-generation Chevrolet Camaro was produced by Chevrolet from 1970 through the 1981 model years, and was a newly designed car, while still utilizing the basic mechanical layout familiar and engineered much like its predecessor using a unibody structure utilizided a front subframe, A-arm and coil spring front suspension, and rear leaf springs. Dubbed the Super Hugger, the chassis and suspension of the second generation were refined in both performance and comfort, GM engineers have said the second generation is much more of A Drivers Car than its predecessor. Putting power to the ground through a set of 15” American Racing wheels wrapped in radial tires is a healthy 350 C.I.D. V/8 and is paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood the motor has been dressed up nicely with an Edelbrock intake, polished valve covers, radiator cover, air cleaner, and mid length headers. Look inside and you’ll find a very impressive interior. The high back bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl to match the dash and door panels. Notable features include power steering, power windows, and power brakes with disc in the front. If you are looking for something to take out and drive the tires off or even something to add to a collection, this Camaro is the car for you!

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this wicked 1994 Pontiac Trans Am for sale. Bathed in a gorgeous shade of metallic Teal, this car looks like a big boys Hot Wheels! But, if you think it looks good in its teal-over-gray cloth interior, open the hood and youll revel in the gorgeous contrasting high energy orange engine bay, giving it that show car look. Well give you a bullet list of the specs but suffice it to say that this 94 Trans Am has one of the most sophisticated live axle vehicle suspensions around, until you get to a pure Trans-Am Racing Series purpose-built racing car (which, obviously, youre not driving to a car show in). Look at the undercarriage photos on our website: this baby has THE BEEF (apologies to Wendys)! Starting with a complete custom front end setup: UMI tubular K-member, control arms, subframe connectors, Konis, strut tower brace...its all there! Then you get to the back half and note that this car is set up for some high-performance floggin in the twisties; or just eating your buddys 911 for lunch at the Autocross...AND, speaking of Autocross, this car and its driver took 4th place in the Street Modified class in the 2013 SCCA Reno event! The Strano Performance springs and Konis keep things planted and damped, and the Fays2 Watts Linkage keeps that axle centered under the body as it moves vertically. What youll feel is that this car corners like a slot car, even when the pavement gets a little hiccupy (made that word up, but you know what we mean). These Gen 4 F-bodies can be tricky in mildly bumpy curves when equipped with a stiff, lowered suspension, but the Watts Link keeps that rear from getting squirrely when the road is bumpy or undulating. If you like to go around corners so hard that you bang your (and your passengers) head(s) on the windows, this hot 94 Trans Am is THE ticket. Combine the suspension with some super gummy BFG G-force Rival T/A meats, and Corvette big brakes, and you can bet you could shake some fillings loose in folks molars. Advice: grab some airline vomit bags next time you fly and put them in your glove box for your front passenger: those Schroth multi-point harnesses will keep front seat occupants firmly secured in the seats at all times. So well, in fact, that no one will be able to lean out the window mid-race and spray the car behind you. But thats a good thing, of course! Dont miss out on such a brilliantly put together track car that you can still legally drive to the car show! Moser Engineering mistakenly omitted the ABS option in their build of this rear end but sent the reluctor gear upon notification. This is the reason for the ABS INOP indicator. Front ABS works, but the rear does not (without reluctor gear). The reluctor gear is included for the buyer who wants to install it and have both front and rear ABS function. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1991 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. The Chevrolet Corvette (C4) is a sports car produced by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 1983 to 1996. The C4 Corvette represented a clean break from the Zora Arkus-Duntov-designed C3, with a completely new chassis and sleeker, more modern but still evolutionary styling. It was the work of a team under chief Corvette designer Dave McLellan, whod taken over from Duntov in 1975. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forebearers, the C4s rear bumpers and panels were made from molding plastics, a sheet molding compound. The C4 fastback coupe was the first general production Corvette to have a glass hatchback (the limited edition 1982 Collector Edition being the first Corvette equipped with this feature) for better storage access. The roof panel made from fiberglass or optionally from clear acrylic was removable. The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard with a digital liquid crystal display instrument cluster. It displayed a combination of graphics for speed and RPM, fuel level, and used digital displays for other important engine functions. For the first time since 1957, the Corvette used single headlights instead of quad units, but they were still retractable. Since emissions regulations were still changing and electronic engine management was in its infancy, engine power output was low compared to earlier generations. The primary design emphasis at launch was therefore focused on handling and braking, with an all-independent light-weight suspension and wheels and all new brakes with aluminum calipers. The front suspension saw the C3s coil springs replaced by a transverse fiberglass mono-leaf spring, which was only 1/3 of the weight of the coil springs while also introducing an anti-roll bar-like effect on the front. Powering this 1991 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a 5.7 Liter Tuned Port Injection V8 backed by a 6-Speed manual transmission. Options on this 1991 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible include: Air Conditioning, Aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1986 Ford Mustang SVO. The Mustang SVO is a limited-production version of the third generation Ford Mustang sold from 1984 to 1986, during which time 9,835 examples were built. Although it departed both physically and mechanically from any prior version of the Mustang, it held the same spot within the lineup, both in terms of performance over lesser variants and in prestige, as had variants such as the Shelby-tuned and BOSS Mustangs of the 1960s and 1970s. Ford began to make a major push forward with the Mustang in 1982, nearly completely reinventing every aspect of the vehicle, which included putting a new emphasis on the models sporty nature. Just prior to this, in the fall of 1981, Ford decided to form a division that could oversee both the companys racing program and the production of limited-edition, high-performance, street-legal vehicles based on or taking technology from the race vehicles. Officially, the division was called the Special Vehicle Operations Department, but the public came to know them as simply SVO. Powering this mustang is a 2.3 liter turbocharged inline 4 200 Hp @ 5000 RPM and 240lb-ft of torque @3200 RPM from factory. Backing this engine is a 5-Speed Manual Transmission. The Posi-Traction rear end has 3.73:1 gearing. Interior was only available in charcoal grey (leather or cloth) and features included adjustable sport seats with lumbar supports, a leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel, shift lever, and emergency brake handle, power windows, door locks, air conditioning, and a premium stereo system, options not normally found on small American coupes. Options on this 1986 Ford Mustang SVO include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player, Spare Tire, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Jack, Spare Tire, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, Alloy Wheels, and Posi-Traction.
