Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a classic 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolets new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before. Under rapid development, the Thunderbird went from idea to prototype in about a year, being unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. Like the Corvette, the Thunderbird had a two-seat coupe/convertible layout. Production of the Thunderbird began later on in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a faux hood scoop and a 140 mph speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didnt possess. The exterior was professionally painted in a Dusk Rose while the interior is black and white vinyl. The two complement each other very nicely. Under the hood youll find a potent 312 CID V8 engine backed by a 3-spd automatic transmission but youll also find a rare A/C option. The valve covers are the original Thunderbird ribbed covers that scream 50s style. Its probably the first thing youll notice when you open the hood. Under the chrome air cleaner sits on a 4BBL carburetor that the purists will surly love. The infamous porthole hard top is in amazing condition and painted white on this T-Bird. With the hardtop secured into place the road noise diminishes significantly. Other options include: AM radio, manual convertible top, power brakes, vinyl interior, and wide white wall radial tires. This is a classic Thunderbird with a timeless look which bodes well for an investment piece and a fun driver alike. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool 1964 Dodge Polara. The Dodge Polara was an automobile introduced in the United States for the 1960 model year as Dodges top-of-the-line full-size car; after the introduction of the Dodge Custom 880 in 1962, the Polara nameplate designated a step below the full sized best trimmed Dodge model; the Polara that year had been downsized to what was in effect intermediate, or mid-size status. In its various forms, the Polara name was used by Dodge until 1973, when its position in Dodges line-up was replaced by the Dodge Monaco. The name Polara is a reference to the Polaris star, in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement surrounding the Space Race during the early 1960s. The Polara was a competitor to the Ford Galaxie 500 and the Chevrolet Impala. The 1964 models received a revised front end and new tail lamps to distinguish them from the 1963 cars. Rear end treatment took its inspiration from the Chevrolet Impala, the Polara models now featuring six small, square-shaped taillights (three on each side) surrounded by an attractive bright trim panel. Lesser mid-size Dodges featured only four taillights (two on each side) and lacked the bright trim panel. A sensational new C pillar for the hardtop coupes, combined with the more attractive front and rear end styling, made the 64s look totally new (and longer/ lower/wider as well), resulting in a significant increase of sales over 1963. The Polara 500 continued as Dodges sporty mid-size model, competing with the full-size Ford Galaxie 500/XL and Chevrolets Impala Super Sport, featuring an engine-turned anodized aluminum trim strip along the cars flanks, bucket seats and deluxe vinyl upholstery. This 1964 Dodge Polara is equipped with a 440ci Max wedge motor sporting two huge carbs and uses a 727 torqueflight transmission and a suregrip rear end to put the power to the pavement. This 1964 Polara has been upgraded with: ANA intake manifold, steel crankshaft, balanced rods, 440 source roller rockers, heads ported and chambered, low compression pistons, high volume oil pump, high volume oil pan, oil windscreen, oil pan baffle, high output Powermaster alternator, large drive shaft, vinyl interior, and disc front brakes. Whether you are cruising around town or out drag racing your buddies in their Camaro’s and Stangs, this Polara is sure to hold its own on the road. Options on this beautiful 1964 Dodge Polara include: Power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, and radial tires. This awesome 1964 Dodge Polara is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. This beauty is powered by a strong running 302 CID V8 and has been very well maintained through the years. The engine is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission which in this case is referred to “3 on the tree. The LS2 is capable of providing plenty of power to this Impalas wheels and sounds mesmerizing when fired up. Thinking the LS2 might be too much power? Think again! Youll have no issue bringing this vehicle to a stop for all your friends, family, & perhaps foes to gawk at, being this vehicle comes with SSBC power-disc brakes on all four tires. You can make them all a bit more jealous with a simple flick of a switch revealing the modern-day air ride suspension. The Air pod system is a 5-gallon tank, linked to 2-compressors allowing it lift or lower with ease, while providing you with a smooth ride. The interior has been upgraded as well, including switching out the original front seats for a cozy mixture of leather and suede seats out of a 96 Impala, keeping the backseat all leather with plenty of craftsmanship throughout the doors and panels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited in presenting this 1955 Chevrolet Pick Up for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. Chevy has for the most part, had one of the more popular followings on their line of pick-up trucks since they ever came out with them. Over the years it has become popular to modify the 2-wheel drive versions of their trucks into hotrods, but this one has gone above and beyond the call to stand out from the crowd. The truck is finished in a satin black patina-like finish on the outside with a blacked-out billet grille setting a mean looking tone. The truck sits on a set of solid styled 20 Mob wheels wrapped in white walled radials which sets a one of a kind looks when paired with the slammed stance of this murdered-out machine. The trucks outside look is capped off with a set of led composite headlights that feature LED amber marker rings and a xenon HID kit to give maximum visibility at night. Underneath the hood lights a healthy built 350 cubic inch Chevrolet small block V8 which features an aluminum intake, longtube headers, March Engineering dress brackets, and a self-tuning fuel injection conversion courtesy of FiTech making for a hotrod power plant with a nice touch of modern day in it. The V8 is bolted to a 700R4 4-speed automatic with overdrive. The truck also come equipped with a retrofitted air conditioning system that arguable works better than the A/C found on todays cars. Going inside on the interior of the truck its all too easy to say that there is way too much custom work to list, from the upholstery on the seats, to the gauges, to the custom Harley Davidson saddle bags serving as the door pockets, you will see plenty of gorgeous touches on this truck to make it one of the most recognizable vehicles on the road. The Chevy is also equipped with power brakes, power steering, power locks, and seat belts bringing this retro 50s ride into compliance with the modern day for drivability. Far too easy to say that you will not find another truck like this one, and the greatest regret you will have is not pulling the trigger on buying this unique and beautiful truck. This 1955 Chevrolet Pick Up is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this cool 1940 Ford Coupe for sale. Between the attention-grabbing paint job and the relatively modern powertrain, this car is sure to be a fun toy for the new owner. Under the hood of this beauty is a Chevrolet 350 CID V8 engine that has been rebuilt roughly 1,900 miles ago. When driving the car, one can tell that this engine is fresh thanks to the abundance of power and a strong, smooth pull all throughout the rev range. The engine is kept cool thanks to a Walker radiator. Also, the car is equipped with Sanderson headers to provide a mean sound. Sending the power to the rear end is a GM TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. The rear end in this sweet ride is a Currie 9 that is geared just right to provide the car with a good balance of acceleration and top end. The handling of this beauty is greatly enhanced by the front end sourced from a Mustang II. Helping bring the car to a brisk stop are power disc brakes at all four corners. This car drives like a relatively modern car and is very fun. Upon entering the cabin of the vehicle, the driver will notice the completely redone tan leather interior. The seats are very comfortable and provide much more support than the original style seats would have. This car also is equipped with comfort features such as power windows, heat, air conditioning, heated seats, and a custom radio and sound system. The trunk of the car has also been done in the tan leather theme of the interior and looks great. Adding to the cool features of this car is the fact that the trunk lid is power and comes up with the push of a button! Overall, the interior of this beauty was very well thought out and is comfortable. Moving outward, the exterior features a bright yellow base coat with flames painted running from front to rear. The paint is in pretty good shape and would really come alive with a proper detailing and waxing. supporting each corner of the vehicle are american racing rally wheels wrapped in almost new BFG radial tires. Overall, this car is in good shape and runs well.
