Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is happy to be hosting this gloss black 1951 Mercury Sedan at the Milwaukee Showroom. Mercury has always been one of those sister companies to Ford alongside Lincoln, being another alternative brand that would offer different pricing options as well as different optional equipment while never cheapening out the outstanding quality that Ford had been recognized for. Under the large hood of this black beauty lies a Ford based flathead V8. The flathead has often been looked at as the pinnacle of hot-roddable engines from its aftermarket parts, widespread use in various different vehicles, down to its unmistakable exhaust note. To say that this thing is packing a legend under the hood is an understatement. Backing this reputable power plant is an automatic 2-speed “Hydromatic transmission, which found to be quite the option back then as most vehicles were found with a 3-speed column shifted manual transmission. Opening the door to this car, youll see that the cloth interior is inviting from its comfortable setup to its excellent cosmetic shape. The Mercury also has the period correct hub caps on it as well as white wall tires, helping solidify this cars old but beautiful look. This 1951 Mercury Sedan is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this wonderful 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Edition for sale in our St. Louis showroom. During the last two years of its run, Pontiac offered a special engine and appearance package known as the Turbo Trans Am. Due to the increasing emissions restrictions, Pontiac dropped all its large displacement engines, including the venerable 400 CID V8 following the 1979 model year. Along with a conventional 305 CID small-block V8, Pontiac offered the first forced induction production engine, a turbo charged 301 V8 in 1980-81. The 4.9L Turbo was unique in that it had a stronger block with thicker cylinder walls and a lower compression ratio given the increased pressure created by the turbo system. Also included were newly developed internals including forged pistons, high pressure oil pump, a roller fillet crankshaft with 2 counterbalances, fully baffled oil pan and turbo specific exhaust manifolds. The 301 Turbo was officially factory rated at 210hp and 345lb ft of torque and mated to a TH350 automatic transmission and 3.08 Posi rear end. In 1980, Johnny Rutherford won his 3rd Indianapolis 500, a race that featured the 1980 Turbo Trans Am as the Official Pace Car. This beautiful limited-edition model shows its original Cameo White exterior and Oyster White interior finishes and the owner states 15,505 original miles! The numbers matching vehicle includes T-Tops, AM/FM Stereo Cassette, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Cloth and Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and ice-cold AC. This piece of history is located at our St. Louis showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando proud to present this Beautiful Red 1972 Ferrari 246 GT Dino. You will definitely enjoy driving around in style with this Dino while shifting gears down the road. This is a timeless vehicle that will never go “out of style and always be a good investment. The Dino road cars marque was created to market a lower priced, more affordable sports car capable of taking on the Porsche 911. Ferraris expensive V12s well exceeded the 911 in both performance and price. Enzo Ferrari did not want to diminish his exclusive brand with a cheaper car, so the Dino was created. Although a mid-engine layout was common in the world of sports car racing at the time, adapting it to a production car was quite daring. Such a design placed more of the cars weight over the driven wheels, and allowed for a streamlined nose, but led to a cramped passenger compartment and more challenging handling. Lamborghini created a stir in 1966 with its mid-engine Miura, but Enzo Ferrari felt a mid-engine Ferrari would be unsafe in the hands of his customers. Eventually he partially relented and a mid-engine Dino concept car was built for the 1965 Paris Motor Show. Response to the radically styled car was positive, so Ferrari allowed it to go into production, rationalizing the lower power of the V6 engine would result in a more manageable car. In 1969 the 206 GT was superseded by the more powerful Dino 246 GT. The 246 GT was powered by an enlarged 2,419.20 cc (147.6 cu in; 2.4 L) V6 engine, producing 192 hp at 7,600 rpm in European specification. Initially available as a fixed-top GT coupé, a Targa topped GTS was also offered after 1971. Other notable changes from the 206 were the body, now made of steel instead of aluminum, and a 2.4 in longer wheelbase than the 206. Three series of the Dino 246 GT were built, with differences in wheels, windshield wiper coverage, and engine ventilation. Dino 246 production numbered 2,295 GTs and 1,274 GTSs, for a total production run of 3,569 The exterior of this Dino is painted Red and works very well with the Black interior. This 1972 Dino powertrain is a 2.4 Liter V-6 and teamed together with a 4 Speed Transmission. This beautiful example has been well maintained and is ready for a new owner. The options of this beautiful car include AM/FM Radio, Spare Tire, Jack, Seat Belts, and Original Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this 2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones Mustang for sale in our Orlando Florida showroom. As one of only 500 cars produced to honor legendary Indianapolis 500 winner Parnelli Jones, this 2007 Parnelli Jones 302 is perhaps one of his coolest creations. And with this example showing just over 17,000 original miles, this 2007 Saleen is virtually a showroom-fresh offering. As the first offering from the Saleen Heritage Collection, the Parnelli Jones 302 was designed to capture the raw, aggressive attitude with which Parnelli raced; therefore, you could order any color car you wanted so long as it was Grabber Orange. To create that road-ready, Trans-Am racer appearance, Saleen equipped the Parnelli Jones 302 with every cosmetic trick in their book. At the front of the car, a re-designed front bumper cover hangs a chrome-trimmed grille and injection molded headlight dividers above a black serial number and racing-style air dam. Behind that bumper, a black striped and fully functional shaker hood holds race-derived hood pins in front of satin-finished “S302 emblems. Ornamentation is kept to a minimum with a black 302 side stripes and Saleen branded billet racing-style gas cap. And Fords classic Mustang profile is augmented by aggressive Saleen side skirts and throwback C-pillar vents which recall classic Shelbys of the 1960s. At the back of the car, a louvered, satin black rear window visor sits above a traditional Saleen championship decal, and a satin black trunk deck props a clean 70 Boss-style wing. Below that wing, a custom chrome-trimmed rear valence displays both a custom Saleen Parnelli Jones emblem and a traditional Ford emblem, and a custom rear bumper weaves a black splitter around stainless exhaust tips. Lift Parnelli Jones #155s custom shaker hood and youll find a crisp new 302 cubic inch Saleen built SOHC three-valve V8 which produces an SAE certified 400 horsepower and 390 lb./ft. of torque. In keeping with both Steve Saleen and Parnelli Jones race ancestry, this limited-edition Mustang was designed utilizing Saleens own precision suspension. The all-new, yet classic Watts-Link suspension is derived from racing and performance applications and offers the purest race handling found in any OEM streetcar. Behind small block engine, a rugged Tremec 5-speed manual transmission drives a tall 3.73 rear end, which makes for some spectacular wheel spin in first and second gear, and astounding acceleration when you get the launch just right. Taking advantage of the Mustangs Macpherson front and 3 links rear chassis, Saleen engineers carefully chose springs, shocks, and sway bars that improve responsiveness without sacrificing ride quality. The exhaust is expelled through a traditional Saleen stainless steel system that provides its legacy low resonating sound. And braking is handled by “Saleen branded four-piston front calipers which clamp large slotted rotors and OEM Ford rear calipers that squeeze original factory rotors. Inside, Saleen makes the Ford interior its own with leather upholstery and plenty of signage. The leather seats have been fitted with bright Grabber Orange inserts, orange stitching and centered Parnelli Jones emblems. The ornate Mustang dash houses a Saleen vintage instrumentation panel that displays “Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition scripts among white letters on black backgrounds. An integrated twin gauge pod, which displays oil pressure and temperature, sits above both Steve Saleen and Parnelli Joness autographs. In front of the driver, a traditional Mustang steering wheel has been fitted with a “Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition emblem. Between the seats, a traditional Ford console holds a Saleen Quick Shifter thats complete with a custom, satin-finished Parnelli Jones shift knob. And of course, all the usual power windows, locks, and other Mustang GT items are on hand, and a slick set of clean Saleen sill plates welcome passengers to the interior. This Mustang does come with the original Saleen wheels, factory stereo, and #15 gumball numbers. This 2007 Ford Mustang Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this FORD 1968 GT Convertiable! Styling was drastically changed from the 1967 Fairlane models, resulting in growth in size and weight. The front fascia featured a full width recessed grille, with horizontal quad headlights placed at the outer edges. Horizontal dividing bars were featured in the grille depending on the model. Parking lights were placed at the outer edge of the front fenders and wrapped around the corner to also act as side marker lights to meet the new 1968 requirements. The body sides were smooth with one horizontal body crease running just below the beltline from front to back. The taillights were rectangular in shape and vertically situated in the rear panel above rear bumper. Reverse lights were located in the middle of the taillights, and small side marker lights were located on the rear edge of the quarter panel. The top level Torino series, which consisted of a 2-door hardtop, a 4-door sedan, and the Squire station wagon that featured wood grained applique. Finally, the Torino GT, the sporty version of the Fairlane 500 series, included a 2-door hardtop, a 2-door SportsRoof, and a convertible.(as seen above) Ford offered many upholstery options, including a knitted vinyl option, called comfortweave. This unique option allowed the vinyl to breathe unlike conventional vinyl, offering more comfort in hot weather. Conforming to U.S. safety standards, there was much padding inside the Torinos interior, which also featured shoulder belts for front outboard passengers on all cars built after December 31, 1967. The Torino GTs standard features included special name plaques and exterior trim, GT markings on wheel covers and courtesy lights on the inside door panels. Contrary to popular belief, bucket seats and console were not standard on the Torino GT. A split bench with column shifter was still the standard interior package (just like this one) Torino GT models came standard with a 302 cu in (4.9 L)-2V small block V8 and this was also the base V8 engine optional on other models. According to contemporary reviews, when equipped properly the Torino GT offered a good combination of power and handling. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this exceptional, survivor 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The Coupe DeVille was a continuation of Cadillacs “Series 62 through the 1964 model year and you can see the resemblance in the styling evolution of these cars from the late 50s/early 60s. Its not every day youll come across a 56-year-old Cadillac in completely original condition, let alone with just 16,819 actual miles! At 223 inches long, its hard to miss this all-American luxury barge and this Caddy features its original two tone “Sierra Gold Metallic with a White hardtop thats still in good condition albeit with some clearcoat fading in places from age. Check out those signature tailfins as well; not quite as large as the famous 1959 Cadillacs but this Coupe DeVille wouldnt be complete without them. GMs luxury division introduced a new engine for 64- the 429 cubic inch V8 with a 4bbl carburetor that made 340hp from the factory. Regular maintenance has been kept up over the years (receipts available with purchase) but this car still has its original engine and 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. This graceful Cadillac gets even better once you open the doors and take a seat in the well-preserved Tan front leather bench seat. The multitude of functional options on this stock 64 Cadillac blows my mind: air conditioning (or as GM called it, “Comfort Control), power windows, cruise control, AM/FM radio, rear window defogger, “Guide-matic automatic headlamp control, window washers and a glare-proof inside rear view mirror. Just 38,195 2dr Coupe DeVilles were sold in 1964 according to data from Hagarty, and there cant be too many left with this low mileage and from the dry southwestern state of Arizona. The current owners have had this car since 1988 and its time for them to move on. This really is your chance to buy a collectible Cadillac! Opportunities like this arent worth passing up- give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call at (623) 900-4884 for more information on this 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille for sale. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 1940 Buick Roadmaster. All original except for one re-paint, 25 years ago. Paint shows age but still very presentable. In 1940 the Series 80 was renamed Limited. The Roadmaster name was transferred to the new Series 70, which was introduced at the same time as a brand new Series 50 Super. The Roadmaster featured a cutting-edge torpedo C-body. The new C-body that the 1940 Buick Roadmaster shared with the Super, the Cadillac Series 62, the Oldsmobile Series 90, and the Pontiac Torpedo featured shoulder and hip room that was over 5 wider, the elimination of running boards and exterior styling that was streamlined and 2-3 lower. When combined with a column mounted shift lever the cars offered true six passenger comfort. These changes had clearly been influenced by the Cadillac Sixty Special. To view this 1940 Buick Roadmaster, please visit our site at https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LVS/8/1940-Buick-Roadmaster, call 702-830-9215, or email us at lasvegas@gatewayclassiccars.com.
