Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this all original 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. The 1977 was the year that the American Muscle car would begin to make its come back. Pontiac was at the forefront of this movement with its all new W72 option for its formula and T/A Firebirds. The option would use the 400 L78 block but would have the 350 Hi Compression heads which increased to 91 CCs. The compression was also upped to an astounding 8.2:1 ratio which was big news in 77. A high-performance Cam was used as well giving the TA a unique loping idle. Fitted with a Rochester 800 CFM carb getting enough fuel will never be a problem. As with most of these high revving small blocks a high-pressure oil pump was used ensuring good oil flow at the higher RPMs. With the motor putting out good HP and a ton of torque this T/A is ready rip off some nice and Smokey burn outs. This Silver bird has never been to the ashes and risen again as this rare find is all original. The bird on the hood is in near perfect shape with that classic shaker hood and 6.6 T/A markings reminding everyone that this is the last of American muscle. The odometer has the actual mileage on the vehicle at 138,019. The Silver paint is in in unbelievable condition especially for its age. Under the hood is the original Pontiac 400 CID V8 engine with 1,000 miles on the rebuilt. The exterior of this W72 Firebird is in a drive condition. The car has been with the owner for 10+ years and they have taken pride in caring for her. Options on this all original 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am W72 include; AM/FM/ CD, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Raised White Letter Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is fired up to present this 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. While Corvettes have always been regarded as the flagship performance car in Chevys lineup, the ZR1 came as an above and beyond edition being one of the best alongside the Grand Sport in terms of collectability and production numbers. Chevrolet decided to step it up when they made the ZR1 by featuring a Mercury Marine built 5.7-liter LT5 V8 under the hood which featured a 4 overhead camshaft courtesy of joint design between Chevrolet and Lotus and produced 375 horsepower through the ZF 6-speed manual gearbox. This powertrain was found to be worthy of competing in and winning a 24 hour endurance race and winning averaging 175 miles per hour while doing so. The suspension was a complete redesign over the C4 body style setup done by Lotus making for a tight handling experience which included the chassis being 4 inches wider in the rear to accommodate the colossal 315mm wide tires. This suspension redesign along with the upgraded powertrain makes for a Corvette that truly feels ready for the track. The bright red beauty is loaded with features like air conditioning, traction control, cruise control, power leather seats, power steering, power brakes, hard targa top with optional glass top, on the fly power tune control, and ride control showing that this Vette is truly a step above the rest. A true ZR1 doesnt pop up too often so seize the opportunity to own one! Description:

We are excited to have for sale in our Gateway Classic Car Saint Louis Showroom is a very rare 1949 MG YT 2DR Tourer Convertible. BACKGROUND: Only 904 YTs were built for export to the United States from 1947 to 1950. The MG YT cars used rack and pinion steering, which was a rarely seen option for a car in America at the time. This particular MG YT fires right up and purrs just like a kitten. It runs and drives very well and is ready for a new owner to drive and enjoy it as often as desired. It is utilizing the same engine as the TC, a 1250cc 4 cylinder, but with higher compression and two 1 BBL carburetors producing 54.4 horsepower and 64 lb-ft of torque. The independent front suspension setup features unequal length A-arms and coil springs to provide valuable feedback to the driver. Also standard were drum brakes and 16-inch wheels on all four corners. The chassis on the YT utilized a steel ladder frame, it was often and incorrectly said to be made of wood. What was made of wood, most of which was oak, was the framework on which the bodywork was hung. The MG YT Touring Convertible has 2 doors and seats 4 passengers. The interior features leather upholstery and wood grain accents, which was much more refined than the earlier MG T-Series sports cars. This YT body is finished in light beige with metallic brown fenders and a dark brown cloth convertible top. The exterior color combination beautifully matches the beige leather interior with dark brown piping throughout. The odometer reads 1,946, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1949 MG YT 2DR Tourer Convertible include Leather Upholstery, Manual Convertible Top, Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires, and Hub Caps. To view this 1949 MG YT in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is happy to list this sharp 1956 Ford Thunderbird! The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolets new sports car, the Corvette. Production of the Thunderbird began later on in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954 and sold exceptionally well in its first year; outselling the Corvette by more than 23-to-one for 1955 with 16,155 Thunderbirds sold against 700 Corvettes. With the Thunderbird considered a success, a few changes were made to the car for 1956. The most notable change was moving the spare tire to a continental-style rear bumper in order to make more storage room in the trunk and a new 12-volt electrical system. If youre ready to take a cruise around town and do so in some style, simply hop in, turn the key, shift it into gear, and this spunky numbers matching 312 V8 will have you rolling. The 312 V8, which produces approximately 225 HP is linked to a Ford O Matic 3 speed transmission. This original drivetrain has just over 44k actual original miles. The interior was kept simplistic and very period correct for a 56 T-Bird. The Carmel Tan vinyl interior gives it a nice contrast, looks sharp, and is in good shape overall. Other options on this 1956 Thunderbird include: AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl interior, White Walls, & Seat belts. With its classic look, colors, lines, white-wall tires, and low body, this Thunderbird is a great find and will make its next owner very proud to have and to hold onto. The WS6 package is the highly sought-after option with the added features of performance front and rear springs, stiffer front and rear shocks, harder bushings, functional ram air hood intake, larger anti-sway bar, and more. This Trans AM is fitted with an aluminum LS1 V8 engine, and paired to an automatic 4 speed with Overdrive. The noise is emitted through quad Borla stainless steal exhaust. Painted in Navy Blue Metallic from the factory, and it still looks fantastic! With only a little more than 1500 miles on this car is almost as clean as it was coming from the factory. Description:

Factory Ford Mustang Race Car. This purpose built Stang, has enjoyed the good life flying around the track. Now with only 7850 miles on her and the recent paint job in 2015, she is looking for a new home. The Ford Racing Mustang FR500 is a highly tuned race variant of the Ford Mustang, featuring a V8 engine. These are turn key race cars not designed for public road use. Each FR500 model is built with a unique Ford Racing number, and not a DOT VIN. Each is built when ordered through Ford Racing. Each FR500 is built by the same plant, in Flat Rock (Michigan), as the standard Mustang. Powered by Fords 4.6L V8 engine, it is rated at 325HP. The FR500S is often slotted in between the FR500C (Boy Racer) and FR500GT (Man Racer). The car was designed by both Ford Racing and Miller Motorsports for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge series (a racing series founded by Larry Miller). The car features similar aerodynamic parts like those used on the FR500GT, but uses a DOT approved racing tire BF Goodrich g-Force R1. With the end of the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge, the FR500S has been homologated for competition in the SCCA World Challenge GTS class. The transmission is the same six-speed Tremec T6060 used in the Shelby GT500 paired to a severe-duty clutch. The rear axle assembly is borrowed from the Bullitt Mustang parts bin with a 3.73:1 ratio and sturdier pinion bearing, with a Ford Racing/Torsen limited-slip differential installed. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. There were barley any changes made on the FJ40s from 1963 to 1983, and they are as comfortable on a trail as they are on the highway because they were designed to do it all and do it well. This 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser was imported from Columbia and has had a beautiful restoration done on it. The Red exterior is virtually flawless and looks awesome against the light Grey vinyl top. Description:

For sale in our Houston showroom is this very mint 1 of 33 2003 Ford Mustang GT Roush 380R edition. All Roush Mustang 380R cars begin with the standard Mustang GT that has been tweaked via an Eaton Roots blower on a specially designed intake manifold fed by Roush’s own fuel system and custom OBD-II computer calibration. Output catapults from 260HP to 379HP@5,250 rpm and 302 lb-ft to 380 lb-ft@3,000 rpm, as measured at the flywheel. From the overstuffed Roush leather, pneumatically adjustable driver seat you press on metal-covered pedals and hawk easy-to-read white-on-black instruments. All you see are the reverse scoop and the wide stripes on the custom hood and, to the rear, the extended but still tasteful wing on the trunk. This Sweet Stang sits with just under 14k miles thus far on her! With a Roush supercharger mounted to the top of the already powerful 4.6L fuel injected V8 you better hold on when you mash the gas. The powerhouse upfront is paired to a TR3650 - 5-speed manual transmission that leads into a rear end with 3.27 gears that is an awesome set up when you need to drop a beer and disappear. While the stock GT is fun to drive, the Roush version simply plays on its strengths and makes them better. This Stang can be found in its original paint with blue racing stripes down the length of the car. The exterior is in amazing condition but with this low mileage you don’t have to wonder why. The interior of this car follows the same level of condition with the exterior with it looking like they were just installed in 2003. From the white Roush gauges to the two-tone leather seats, you will be sitting pretty behind the wheel of this beast. The car sits on its stock chrome 18-inch 5-star wheels that are wrapped in BF Goodrich tires with plenty of tread left on them. Those chrome wheels reveal the 4-wheel performance drilled & slotted rotors with multi-piston calipers. This car is mint from the inside to the outside and the way this car shows proves it. This can be your chance to own one of the rarer late model mustangs. In standard form, the Roush 380R is also equipped with Roush front brakes with 13-inch rotors, billet aluminum pedals, and Roushs luminescent face gauges, which give off an easy-on-the-eyes green glow at night. Features on this car include; AC, CD player with AM/FM, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, tilt steering wheel, traction control, keyless entry, driver & passenger airbags, Roush leather interior, & chrome Roush wheels. For more information on this 2003 Ford Mustang GT call the Houston Showroom at 832-243-6220 or email houston@gatewayclassiccars.com
