Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautiful 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie. Introduced in 1957, mechanical fuel injection was offered on Corvettes as a higher horsepower variant of the standard cars. In 1959 this meant your choice of a 250 Horsepower or 290 Horsepower 283 CID V8 with no carburetor to be found. 745 buyers chose the $484.20 option to get the 290 HP Fuelie. This particular example is beautifully optioned in Snowcrest White with silver coves and black interior. She wears the appropriate hub caps with knock offs wrapped in wide white wall tires. The chrome trim on this particular car is in great shape and makes for a dazzling piece of eye candy. Inside youll find more chrome and stainless trim to accent the black upholstery. Youll also find another very rare option: power windows, which only 587 buyers chose in 1959. Driving enthusiasts will be delighted to see that behind the 290 HP v8 is a proper 4 speed manual transmission. Speaking of the drive train, the engine has been completely rebuild, and perhaps even more importantly, the fuel injection system has been rebuilt by an expert that specializes in these systems. The car runs beautifully and is a delight to pilot down the road. Being a Fuelie, and therefore quite rare, this is a true collectors piece. This car would be at home in the most avid Corvette collectors garage. You can see this awesome 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-2000 or STL@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquires.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this AC Cobra Replica, which is titled as a 2014 ASVE Cobra replica. The Shelby Cobra was such an iconic car that plenty of replica companies started reproducing them but they are not all created equal. No one will argue about the performance and build quality of this Everett-Morrison Cobra Replica. All Cobras are special beasts, but this build is a little more unique with its engine and drivetrain. Under the hood is a 460 CID Ford Racing crate motor V8 that rumbles to life and belts out a menacing note through the side pipes. This engine started as a 351 that was bored & stroked with high deck cylinder heads that gives it the 460 CID. The engine dyno’s at 600 HP & 575 foot-lbs of torque. The engine is backed by a five-speed Tremec 600 manual gearbox that leads into a 9-inch ford rear end. Since being built in 2014, this car has just 1,062 miles on it & one owner. To hammer the visual impact of this Cobra home, it is finished with a lustrous burgundy-and-gold paint job with classic cobra aluminum wheels. The car also features a 3790 Stainless alloy tubular frame giving it much more strength & rigidity in the car than most other replicas on the market. It also features 4-wheel independent suspension that gives it a seriously smooth ride compared to other replicas on the market. The car has a rare option for cobras in that is has air conditioning!! The tan leather interior is in fantastic condition and very comfortable. Being an Everett-Morrison built car it also provides a little more cab space for the larger individuals as well. Options on this AC Cobra Replica include 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, seat belts, aluminum/alloy wheels and radial tires. For more information on this 2014 ASVE Cobra Replica call the Houston Showroom at 832-243-6220 or email houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is thrilled to offer this big, bad 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS for sale right now in our showroom. This frame-off restoration was preformed by Lengendary Motor Company LTD and is extremely well done. This Chevelle SS is equipped with a seam-splitting 454 CID V8 360-hp ,that will make you feel like you’ve experienced a small earthquake every time you touch the gas pedal. Paired with a Turbo 400 transmission this Chevelle is guaranteed to give you more smiles than miles per gallon! This 1970 Chevelle presents itself as it was the day she was born and per the consigner, has only been driven 253-miles since the 2009 restoration. If you’re a die-hard looking for one of the nicest Chevelle SS around – you’ve found it!! She’s as nice underneath – as she is on top - with it’s Red paintjob with black stripes and black vinyl interior – she’s very well done! To add to the excitement, she is optioned with a/c, tilt wheel, power windows, and am/fm stereo. This is a very solid build that will certainly turn heads with the way it looks and sits wherever you go, and if they don’t look at you when you turn the corner – then the roar of an unrestrained big-block V8 will get the attention. While the Chevelle brand is synonymous with muscle car enthusiasts and there are plenty of examples at most car shows, this one right here in our Atlanta showroom really is something special and you know that the first person who sees it will want it in their garage. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 Touring Limousine for sale in their Indianapolis showroom. What an amazing piece of automotive heritage! The 20/25 was Rolls Royce’s second pre-war entry level sedan. Offered between 1929 and 1936 it became one of Rolls Royce’s most successful selling models. The 20/25 enabled Rolls Royce to survive the economic climate of the Great Depression and is largely responsible for keeping the brand alive. This beautiful example still runs with the original inline 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission, and purrs like a kitten. Never rebuilt or molested, it is a testament to the adage, “you get what you pay for”. The Rolls had a repaint done in 1986, and at some point in her life the leather has been replaced. An additional coil was added to make the car easier and more dependable when starting, and an electric fan was fitted to keep the engine cool while in slower traffic. The car still has an operational centralized lubrication system, hand-crank start, Rolls Royce 2-jet carburetor, and specialized tools to remove the wheels. The all-aluminum body and custom coachwork was done by Park Ward, and paperwork exists that shows the original client’s build requests and specifications. This Rolls was first commissioned in November of 1935, with the chassis being finished in January of 1936. The Park Ward custom body was then completed and delivered to the new owner on August 1, 1936. Built to British specs, the Rolls is a right-hand driver. Some additional features include; a manual sliding sunroof, adjustable glass partition to allow separation of the passenger compartment from the driver, courtesy lamps, and braided assist cords, rear passenger compartment and tray, rear seat arm rest, front bumper center-mounted driving lamp, dash lights, and “Spirit of Ecstasy” radiator ornament. The opportunity rarely presents itself to own such a magnificent automobile. Be sure to visit our webpage at www.gatewayclassiccars.com to view 100+ HD pictures, as well as a short video of the Rolls in action. Better yet, stop by our Indianapolis showroom and see her in person. We’re located at 4400 West 96th Street, Indianapolis, In. 46268. Call us directly at 317-688-1100, and we’ll be happy to share additional information, or schedule an appointment for you to experience this amazing car. https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NDY/1178/1935-Rolls-Royce-20-25

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a slick little 1987 Alfa Romeo Graduate Roadster. Audiences swooned over the scandalous 1967 film The Graduate. The film follows Benjamin Braddock, played by a young Dustin Hoffman in his transition into adulthood after graduating from college. Braddock is seduced by the infamous Mrs. Robinson and eventually falls in love with her daughter Elaine. Hoffmans character spends most of his time lounging in the pool, or driving his beloved 1966 Alfa Romeo Spider. The Alfa, finished in bright red, made nearly as strong as an impact on screen as Mrs. Robinson entering the room in the nude. Alfa Romeo capitalized on this exposure of their brand, and their stylish roadster. They introduced the Graduate trim level as the entry level model for their spider. This particular 1987 model is a great example which shows only 33,081 miles on the odometer. The car is finished in Jet Black exterior with Beige interior. The car has been with the same owner since new and even comes with its original window sticker. This particular car shows some signs of its age on the paint, which may benefit from a nice buff and polish. The engine however, the 2.0 Liter Dual Overhead Cam 4 cylinder runs beautifully. This twin cam, with mated to the 5 speed manual transmission makes for a beautiful driving experience. Imagine running through the gears with the wind in your hair listening to the Italian symphony which comes from the exhaust! This is a wonderful car to enter the classic car hobby with. The car shares the same Italian passion and good looks as higher end exotics which charge ten times the price. This is a great opportunity to get into a beautiful Italian made classic before these Alfas spike in price. To view this 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving just visit us online at http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Camaro/Mustang rivalry had begun in 1967 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The Camaro was the largest threat to the lead Ford had in the pony car field, a market segment largely created by Ford with the introduction of the Mustang in mid-year 1964. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. In an effort to improve the Mustangs image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. The 1969–70 Boss 302 (Hi-Po) engine was created in 1968 for the SCCAs 1969 Trans-Am road racing series. Available in the Boss 302 Mustangs of 1969–70, its a unique Ford small-block engine featuring a thin-wall, high nickel content block casting. It differed substantially from regular 302s, with 4-bolt mains, screw in freeze plugs, and heads using a canted valve design being developed for the planned 351 Cleveland (which debuted the following year). The construction was aided by the two engines sharing a cylinder head bolt pattern, though the Boss 302 heads had to have their coolant passages slightly modified. This optional engine, and indeed the entire vehicle package, including handling and aerodynamic aids, was made available for the express purpose of meeting the guidelines to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series, which limited engine displacement to 305 C.I.D. (5.0L) in order to compete. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a unique 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. This 69 Camaro convertible is believed to be an actual RS/SS trim package, as it had all the correct parts and badging before the recently completed nut and bold restoration took place. The restorer decided to restore the car the way he would have ordered one in 1969. As you will soon learn, this one is loaded with the best of the best from 1969. To start things off, it is powered by an L-89 396. The L-89 is an aluminum head option for the L-78 396. The L-78 is the solid lifter 396 big block and the only way to make it better from the factory was to add the very rare L-89 option. This would drop roughly 75 pounds off the front end and aid in cooler operating temperatures. This engine was under rated from GM with an advertised 375 horsepower. Many sources claim true power to be well into the 400 range. Couple this power plant to a close ratio Muncie 4 speed with a 12 bolt rear end housing posi traction 3.31 gears and youve got a potent package. The 3.31:1 gears will allow for some fun around town but also allow easy cruising on the highway. Options are plentiful to say the least. Some of the more common options are here and include Power brakes, Power steering and a Power top. Some of less common options include Power windows, Tilt steering column, Rosewood steering wheel, a fold down rear seat, JL8 Four wheel disc brakes, under hood and trunk auxiliary lighting, front and rear bumper guards and spoilers, Chambered exhaust and a very rare yellow hounds tooth interior. What color would be best for a yellow hounds tooth, Daytona Yellow! What a nice combination with a black power top and SS wheels with new rubber. Other notable features are the late model IROC close ratio steering gear, Hotchkis suspension with adjustable shocks, Rally Sport and Super Sport packages and a modern AM/FM stereo system. Theres no question about the man hours or dollars put into this work of art. Almost all the sheet metal except for the firewall is new. Countless hours have been spent on bodywork and wet sanding for such a great result. The underside looks just as great as the topside and with 800 miles on the rotisserie nut and bolt restoration, its broken in but still very fresh and certainly ready for enjoyment. To view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
