Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer a 1947 Plymouth Special De Luxe Convertible. When Plymouth introduced the De Luxe and Special De luxe series to the market in 1946, they were a huge hit and often came with long waiting lists for those who wanted a brand new one. Buying one from someone else, often came with a premium charge in order to skip the waiting list. The Convertibles only came in the high end Special De Luxe trim level. This particular example puts a extreme emphasis on the word Special in Special De Luxe. Offered in a stunning Viper Red paint accented by the tan top and glisten chrome, this car is a show stopper! When the car was being restored, the owner spared no expense and even had every panel on the car acid dipped. Besides the paint and LED head lights, you’d never know just how custom this classic is. Inside the cabin you’re greeted with a beautiful custom tan vinyl interior helping to make this a comfortable cruiser. The vacuum powered top has been converted to simpler and more reliable electric unit. Put the key fob in the insert on the dash and press the push button start to hear the glorious roar of the surprise waiting for you under the hood. Powered by a modern fuel injected 5.7L Hemi V8 engine that is mounted to a modern Dodge transmission, this Classic Plymouth comes with both the comfort of driving on modern highways and the Mopar performance to have some real fun! In the rear you’ll find a Ford 9” rear end to handle the added power with 3.50 Posi gears. For more information regarding this elegant 1947 Plymouth Special De Luxe Convertible, contact the Chicago showroom at 708-444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Options include: AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Wide White walls, CD Player, Convertible top (Auto), Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Posi Traction, Kill Switch, and Traction Control. Description:

This 2002 AM General Hummer H! is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Hummer, Humvee, H1 or whatever crazy name you want to call it has always been a symbol of patriotic spirit. With its unbelievable off-road talent and sheer size, it is intimidating sitting still to say the least. If you have ever wanted to just run over the guy doing 20 in a 45 this would be the vehicle to do it in. Of course, you wouldn’t want to mess up the slick black paint. With a clean vehicle history report this beast has not seen any accidents. With a ton of extras like the full-size roof rack and the soft half top for the bed this thing is loaded. The huge aluminum wheels have been recently fitted with a set of new and massive 40x13.5 tires guaranteed to get you out of any slippery situation. Of course, just in case the huge 12000 LB winch is there to guarantee safe passage all while at the comfort of the driver’s seat. The brush guards only add to the overall appearance and give the front end that exclamation point that these massive trucks need. Naturally when your moving over 7000 pounds of raw Americana you need some power so under the hood is the original 6.5L Diesel with some tasteful mods to give it just a little extra oomph. The performance computer with the mechanical waste gate set at 15lbs gives this monster a noticeable difference in useable power. Added sound deadening in the doors and floor help to quiet down the cabin noise considerably. The real glass is tinted and when I say tinted I mean the glass is that color not some film on it. The genuine leather seats will make you feel like you’re in a high-end exotic instead of some 7000-lb. tank. Plus, no complaints about the leather being cold since they do have warmers. The list just goes on and on with this ultra-luxurious piece of American Steel. Don’t think too long as these are on everyone’s wish list and with this one being as loaded as they come it won’t last long. Options on this 2002 AM General Hummer H1 include; AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes. Power Windows, Power Locks, Heated Seats, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. This 2002 AM General Hummer H1 can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is the epitome of Mopar Muscle. This is one very special ‘Plum Crazy’ 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. The car you see is not one to take lightly. This will throw you back in your seat and keep you there. Mechanically, this car is very impressive. This Cuda is powered by a 340cid V8 6 pack. The 6 pack refers to the 3 two barrel carburetors. This engine puts out plenty of power. A true Mopar, it even has a Mopar battery! The motor is mated to a 3-speed “Slap Stik” automatic transmission. This Barracuda is a breeze to drive thanks to its power steering and power brakes. Inside the engine bay is clean enough to eat off of. The good doesn’t stop there. The paint job on this ‘Cuda is just as impressive as the engine on this beast. Painted in a ‘Plum Crazy’ purple, this tribute car has the AAR strobe stripe and AAR logo that are just right. Also correct is the flat black hood with hood scoop and hood pins. The side exhausts combined with the lights and front and rear spoilers make this AAR tribute look like Plymouth just built the real deal. Speaking of the side exhausts, this ‘Cuda sounds mean! It doesn’t stop with the sound; the driving experience in this Barracuda is fantastic. The white interior of this muscle car is immaculate. The comfortable seats and headliner look as though they just came right from the factory. No expense was spared on the interior of this monster. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a stunning, frame off restored, triple black 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible. This 70 Chevelle is finished in gloss black paint, that has a clean as glass finish. This is a stripe delete car, meaning the stripes were left off at the factory, and it looks fantastic on this particular triple black Chevelle. You can see the clouds in the sky in the reflection of the paint, beautiful. Powering this awesome 70 Chevelle convertible is an LS5 454 CID V8 engine. The chambered exhaust provides an awesome sound to this Chevelle. An M22 Rock Crusher 4 speed transmission, with a correct Muncie shifter, transfers the power to the 12 bolt Posi-Trac rear end that houses 3.73 gears. This professionally restored Chevelle is correct in every way, down to the F41 suspension, gauges, and GM hose clamps. Triple black, as in gloss black exterior paint, black power convertible top, and black vinyl interior. Description:

The Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a super rare and 1947 Buick Woodie Wagon! While Buick’s postwar lineup was still based upon its prewar designs, the mildly revised 1946–1948 models garnered very strong public favor nonetheless. With the proven overhead valve Dynaflash straight eight, fully coil-sprung suspensions, and Harley Earl-supervised styling with fade-away front fenders, broad grilles, and remarkably restrained bright-trim accents, these cars remain collector staples today. During that era, the Series 50 Super Estate Wagon, with handsome Woodie bodywork by Michigan’s Ionia Manufacturing Company, topped Buick’s mid-tier offerings with a factory price of nearly $2,600. Just 2,036 of them, including five for export, were produced for 1947. This Woodie is a Series 50; Model 59, 110-hp, 248-cid OHV Dynaflash inline eight-cylinder engine with three-speed column-mounted manual transmission. The rarity of this vehicle in todays market makes this beautiful Buick a real gem. The history of this Buick has left its footprint in automotive history and will always be a high value vehicle. The wood accents on the vehicle are in pristine condition and have no splits and show very well. Every bit of this Buick screams nostalgia and has an unforgettable presence and it belongs in a museum or your very own private collection. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of automotive history. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this extraordinary piece of automotive history, a 1914 Cadillac, to our Philadelphia located in West Deptford, NJ! The 1914 Cadillac is the last and largest of the Model 30 Cadillacs which began in 1909. This 103-year old automobile, serial number 99058, is quite authentic and fully functional! According to the owner, the four-cylinder, 365 CID engine has never been apart and many of the parts are original including the muffler! The horsepower is listed as 40-50 hp which is considerable for any car of the day, but quite impressive from a car with a four-cylinder engine! It is believed that the car has just over 9,000 miles since new! The cylinders are cast individually with individual heads and copper water jackets. The lubricating system, designed and improved by Cadillac, is the same one used on all four-cylinder Cadillacs from 1905! This Cadillac is a special high compression “H” model which uses a unique carburetor and caps on the heads to increase compression! The engine is unmolested including the water cooling on the carburetor. Historically, these cars have had problems with cracked heads. These have no cracks! All Model 30s have problems with connecting rod bolt breakage, this car has had those replaced by high strength bolts by Steve Bono of M&S Restoration in Bouckville, NY! All connecting rod bearings were hand scraped and adjusted. The clutch and water pump have been rebuilt! The radiator has been cleaned and filled with Evans® Coolant, there are no leaks! This is a difficult statement to make for any brass-era car! 1913 and 1914 Cadillacs are very similar, but differ in two major respects, the fuel feed and the rear end. The 1913 has the gas tank as part of the cowl with gravity feed which can be quite the challenge to clean! This 1914 Cadillac has the gas tank in the rear with pressurized feed to the carburetor. The gas tank on this car was removed, all solder removed and replaced with higher temperature, modern solder, sealed with Renu® high temperature sealer and repainted! Everything on this car works well and its starts easily! The two-speed rear end makes this car special as it has two ratios, 3.66 (low speed) and 2.5 to 1 (high speed). To view this 1914 Cadillac in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Now available in our Philadelphia location is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. The 1968 Camaro is a cool car to begin with. Drop a modern LSA in a 1968 Camaro and you have a High-Performance Beast with modern day drivability and dependability. The 6.2-liter V8 Supercharged LSA is an engine produced by General Motors for use in high-performance vehicles. The LSA is part of GM’s 4th-generation V8 Small Block engine family and is notorious for its high-power output. It is made at GM’s Silao facilities in Mexico. The engine is used in the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. More than sheer performance, the LSA balances great power with exceptional refinement. An advanced, sixth-generation Eaton supercharger with high-twist four-lobe rotors is a large contributor to the engine’s high performance. It enables a broad power band with almost imperceptible operation. Naturally an engine like this requires an updated transmission as well. A six-speed 6L90E has been chosen to distribute the horsepower to the narrowed 12-inch rear with 3:73 gears. The exterior is finished in Gray with white stripes and was done using PPG products. The interior is all Classic Camaro and in great shape, with a no frills race ready look. There are no comfort options. There is no heat or AC and no entertainment as well. This Camaro is all about going fast in a straight line and looking good doing it. To view this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

LS1 with overdrive, leather interior, and modern Heidts suspension makes this the ultimate Street rod! Now it is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and is a very custom 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe. This cinnamon street rod, once owned by Tony Kukoc of the Chicago Bulls, is custom from the ground up, and virtually every surface on this car has either been painted, chromed, or is polished stainless steel. It’s so nice you’ll not only want to eat off the hood, but the undercarriage as well. As far as the powertrain goes, this rod is packing heat! Equipped with an LS1 Engine and 4L60E 4-Speed automatic transmission this thing goes just as good as it looks. In addition to the engine and transmission pairing, the rest of the powertrain consists of custom parts, including: driveshaft, shifter and shifter knob, and chromed and polished serpentine belt system. Like the rest of the vehicle, the interior is also completely customized and matches the cinnamon paint perfectly. Made by Kasper Auto Trim, the interior, trunk, and one-piece headliner create a driving space that feels eloquently modern, even though you’re piloting a 76 year old titan of a street rod. Power rack and pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes make the driving experience pleasant, complimenting the LS1 engine in perfect harmony. Quite frankly, one could write a novel about this vehicle and the plethora of custom work done on it over the years. The build sheet for this vehicle highlights every aspect of the process and even breaks it down by each aspect of the vehicle and even includes manufacturer details about each aftermarket part. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving, at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
