Description:

1947 MG TC for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this delightful 1947 MGTC in burgundy with black interior. This is another very special British roadster from the estate of Arthur Lang, the other car in the collection being the 1961 Morgan Plus 4 in our current inventory. This car was given the name Winston at some point in its history as evidenced by the plaque affixed to the cowl. The MG was acquired by Arthur in 1989. The car comes with a thick history file including the paperwork from when the car arrived in the US in the early 70s, and lots of receipts and records of events Arthur participated in with the car. TC/3524 is a September 1947 Home Market TC that was first registered in England, and then in Italy. It is said to have been raced in Europe and we are told that the BARC and Luxemburg badges are original. In notes based on oral history passed from prior owners it is said that Winston participated in races, rallies and hill climbs. It is fitted with Brooklands Aero Screens in addition to the fold-down windshield. There are records of rebuilds done to both mechanical and cosmetic components. When Arthur acquired the car it was still in fresh racing tune and trim. Arthur has the car detuned to make it more suitable for year-round road use. It was recently serviced by a respected expert and while Winston retains the patina of more than 70 years of being thoroughly enjoyed, the TC is in top operating order. Arthur was not afraid to use his cars in all kinds of weather and for all kinds of motor sports. Winston was his favorite for rallying. In a short essay about the Legend of Winston, Ruth writes, No matter how hard Arthur drove his cars, he always pampered them once they were back in our garage. Everyday, washing and drying them after taking them out for a run. Constantly maintaining all the mechanical parts on an everyday basis. History is written all over this car and it needs only a new keeper to begin Winstons next chapter.

Description:

Motorcar Classics is proud to present this stunning 1983 Ferrari 512BBi featured in Rossa Corsa (Red) with Black Boxer trim and Black leather interior. Ferrari introduced their 512 BBi at the Frankfurt Salon with only minor cosmetic and mechanical changes made to the existing BB form, mostly exposed driving lights in the front and the addition of rectangular parking lights next to the exhaust at the rear. The largest change was replacement of the carburetors with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel-injection system. The fuel-injection system gave the 512 BBi an additional 20 foot-pounds of additional torque over its carbureted sibling. In this guise, zero-to-sixty too just 5.4 seconds and top speed was achieved at 174 mph. Production of the 512 BBi continued until 1984, with 1,007 examples produced before it was replaced by Ferrari's next mid-engined, flat 12-cylinder model, the Testarossa. Our Ferrari 512 BBi was imported from Europe and delivered to New England. From there it was sold to New York. The car is in pristine original condition, and its odometer shows just under 24,752 kilometers (about 15,800 miles) from new. We have not seen a better example.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this muscular 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 two door hardtop. Since restoration, this MoPar has only been driven 2000 miles. Enough mileage to work out all of the bugs. The body has been re-painted a blistering shade of yellow. When youre in this car, you better like attention! The all-black vinyl interior is all business; no lumbar, heated seats, or any of the other options found on todays cars. It has A/C and an AM/FM radio to keep the passengers cool and singing their favorite tunes while power brakes and power steering make this Coronet more civilized to drive. Accessory gauges and a tachometer help the driver keep an eye on the cars vitals at all times. The aluminum wheels give it the old school vibe everybodys looking for. Under the hood is where this Dodge really shines! A 383 has been bored .040 over and has a parts list that looks like it came straight out of a Summit racing catalog. Headers, aluminum intake, Street Demon carb, stout camshaft, double roller timing chain, and more really get this big block car down the road. A modified 727 automatic transmission transmits all of those ponies to the 8 3/4 rear axle with a posi-traction unit and 3.23 cogs. A great combination for quick acceleration but easy highway cruising. Underneath this 69 youll find all new suspension and steering components have been replaced, so that this Dodge rides and steers like its 1969 again. This car stops reliably every time because its got power front discs and 11 drums out back. it truly performs, runs, drives, steers, and stops like it did nearly 50 years ago. Its a really sweet ride from the boys at the Pentastar. Dont miss this one! Shes ready to go; all it needs is a new owner that will appreciate its classic lines and its performance potential. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this really cool 1969 Dodge Coronet 440, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this iconic 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute. The iconic Chevrolet Chevelle was introduced in 1964 and was soon to become one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. In 1968, the Chevelle received newly sculpted sheet metal which included tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. This Chevelle looks absolutely stunning with its long hood and high rear quarter panels. This specific Chevelle makes an awesome driver with many modern features that make it a blast to drive, even if you plan on taking long cruises. Under the hood of this Chevelle rests a 454CID Big Block V8 which is for the most part in its original format. This 454 is equipped with original heads a Wieand Intake, Holley Carburetor and a set of stainless headers that give that nice muscle car rumble you’re looking for. Translating all of this power to the pavement is a TH400 Transmission that does an amazing job of putting the power down. Spark is courtesy of the MSD ignition set up which definitely adds to the reliability making it a well built machine. The whole engine compartment has been fully painted and dressed nicely for that show quality look and feel. This Chevelle sports a very shiny coat of Red paint that makes this beast stand out from the rest. This Chevelle also has an Onyx Black interior with a floor mounted Staple Shifter and the very cool Sunpro Tachometer located on top of the steering column for easy adjustments. This menacing Chevelle rests comfortably on a set of chrome wheels which are wrapped in a set of BF Goodrich radial tires. Every aspect of this Chevelle is completely impressive. If you are in the market for one of Americas most iconic muscle cars, look no further. For more information on this 1968 Chevelle including over 100 HD photos and video, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff at 313-982-3100.

Gateway Classic Cars Louisville showroom is proud to present this gorgeous Vista Blue Metallic 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT. This extremely clean ’08 Shelby GT is a one owner with only 4715 miles on the odometer and comes with a clean Car Fax. Not only is this Mustang Shelby GT uber clean, the owner has all the literature for the car including the original window sticker and brochures, making for a truly collectible Mustang. The original, mid-1960s Shelby GT350 began life as a Mustang that was built by Ford to a certain equipment standard, then sent to the Shelby American for a spa treatment. Carroll Shelby’s hot-rodders added bolt-on, go-faster parts for the engine and suspension, a few splashy bits to make it look racier, a Shelby ID number, those iconic Shelby stripes from nose to tail, and the rest is muscle car history. Fast forward to today, and, well, not much has changed. Vista Blue is a new Shelby color for 2008, and the convertible body style was also added in ’08, thus adding to the desirability of this Shelby GT. Nostalgia is a dangerous thing, but in the Shelby GT you can relive the good-old days without having to put up with all the bad-old stuff that that went along with them. The Shelby has a beautiful engine note, one that makes the foot want to stay on the gas lest the music stop. Throwing the top down brings an infusion of cool that will make anyone feel like he’s Steve McQueen. Options for this 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT include; Power Convertible Top, Air Conditioning, AM/FM with CD Player, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Brakes, Anti- Lock Brakes, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Side Air Bags, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior and Factory Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Performance tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute. The classic car world is full of could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve which is why the replica market is so popular these days. The car that you had to have as a kid that is now worth millions of dollars can be yours for pennies on the dollar, and for many of us that car is a Shelby Cobra. This example is a 1966 Cobra replica that was manufactured by the Everett-Morrison company who have been building them since 1983.The fiberglass pieces are made from the original molds ensuring that almost identical look. Painted in a dark British racing green and a silver stripe down the middle this Cobra is guaranteed to stand out in the crowd. If that doesn’t get their attention the sound coming from the blacked-out side pipes will. The 408 Stroker motor has plenty of power yet is mild enough to be street driven without any headaches. The 4-speed top loader makes driving this car an absolute blast on those curvy back country roads especially with its fully independent suspension. This Cobra uses suspension components from a C4 Corvette turning what use to be a machete into a Samurai sword. Mounted on a set of aluminum wheels the 12” tires in the back assist in getting all that power to the ground. The interior of the car is clean and having a little more room than a lot of the ones I have been in. The black low back bucket seats are classic cobra design with the wooden steering wheel tying it all together. If you want a great replica that is guaranteed to turn heads and not cost a million bucks this green snake is perfect. Options on this 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute include, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino has always been one of the most unique automobiles since its inception in 1959. The only direct competition was Fords Ranchero which beat out the El Camino causing Chevrolet to rethink their strategy. 1964 it was released but it was not until they started adding performance engines the lineup did the El Camino really take off. This 1972 has took that performance angle to whole new level. With the body taken off the frame and everything taken down to bare metal this silver beauty was done right. Painted in this beautiful silver the black stripes are the perfect compliment. Under that striped hood is the classic 396 big block with a 650 feeding it just the right amount of fuel. Keeping everything cool under the hood is a set of twin electric fans. The 700r4 transmission allows the ELCO to get up and cruise down the highway with ease. The 3.55 gear set in the 12 bolt Posi Rear end is the perfect mix of acceleration and top end pull. The stance on this 72 is courtesy of the Hotchkis suspension which gives it just the right altitude and a little bit of attitude. The polished wheels give it a modern look while allowing the slotted and drilled disc brakes tio be seen by all. The fresh interior really compliments the build with a set of buckets divided by a console housing the horseshoe shifter. The classic industries gauges were placed in an original style SS dash finishing off the one of a kind build. If you have been looking for a classic car or maybe a truck this El Camino is truly the best of both. Options on this 1972 Chevrolet El Camino include; AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Aluminum Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is honored to list this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. The first-generation Camaro is an extremely desirable and highly collectible classic car, and this particular 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible would be an excellent addition to any collection. With its British Racing Green paint job, this Camaro would look just as good cruising down the street as it would being parked at your local car show. The cruising part would definitely be the most fun for the driver with a mildly built 350 crate engine under the hood paired to an automatic transmission, and this engine has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley four-barrel carb, and chrome accents. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible definitely looks great on the outside, and the interior is equally nice with pearl white vinyl seats that show well, contrasting wood trim on the dash and a beautiful black three-spoke steering wheel. Options on this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible include AM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Seat Belts, Cragar Wheels and Radial Tires. Description:

This awesome 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1957 Chevy was the ending to one of the most successful designs in automotive history. Starting off in 1955 with the Shoe-Box the tri-fives were an instant success. The 57 however would be the most notable out of the 3 with its “just right fins” them the most sought after of the 3 years. This black example is what most are looking for in todays market. The paint is slick and clean showing just how straight the body of this beauty is. With the chrome shined up and accenting the black perfectly its easy to see why black is the most popular color of choice. The blue dot tail lights are a great look and something you would see back in the late 50’s and early 60’s. The wheels on the car give it that classic hotrod look with the modern radial tires helping with traction in all conditions. Under the hood a stout and strong running small block 350 sits nicely between the frame rails. The Muncie 4 speed shifts through the gears nicely with the clutch having a great feel with plenty of life left in it. The interior if the car is in great shape and shows nicely. The bench seat upfront is comfortable and what you would expect in a 57 Chevy. The 4-speed shifter sits in the perfect spot with your hand falling right on top of it. The updated stereo looks right at home in the dash while sounding good doing it. If you have been wanting a 57 that looks great and drives even nicer this is the Tri-Five for you. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air tribute include; AM/FM/Cassette, Vinyl Interior, and Custom Wheels with Radial Tires. Description:

This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 2nd generation Camaro was a huge success for GM running a total of 11 years. The fastback body design with its huge rear glass was a far cry from the 1ST Generation. This beautiful Silver with Black stripes split bumper actually began life as a SS396 which is super cool. The 396 has been replaced with a monster 496 that was built with one thing in mind, going fast in a straight line! The Brodix heads are made out of aluminum with many saying they are the best in the business. The huge aluminum radiator keeps everything at the perfect operating temperature with dual electric fans giving you that extra vote of confidence. The 1050 CFM Quick Fuel Dominator carb feeds this animal the high-octane gas it needs. If that’s not enough power for you hit the button on the fogger system and hold on for dear life. The TH350 Transmission was built to handle all that power with a trans brake allowing for true off the line hole shots. The Moser 10 bolt rear end has 3.89 Moser axles allowing for off the line acceleration while pulling hard through all 3 gears. With all that power propelling this beauty the brakes need to be just as good. The 4-wheel disc set up with its Wilwood master cylinder is exactly what this thing needed. Of course, going fast is fun but why not look good while doing it? The paint on the car is slick with a great shine while that fiberglass cowl hood ties in perfectly to the build. The RS front clip looks great but there is no way to tell if it came from the factory or not. Open the doors and you will see an interior that is very tasteful. The roll cage was done to keep you safe while still allowing for plenty of room. The front buckets are comfortable and look right at home with the racing harnesses keeping you right where you need to be. The ratchet style shifter is just where you want it allowing for quick shifts with a simple slap. Normally when cars like this are built you get either a car that looks great but lacks in the performance department or vice versa. Why not get this one and have a beautiful car that performs like it looks? Options on this 1972 Camaro include, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Billet Wheels with Radial Tires.
