Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is very pleased to feature this 2020 World of Wheels award-winning, best in class 1968 Ford Mustang in our Indianapolis Showroom! The Terlingua Racing Team was named after a small community in Texas that Carrol Shelby and some close friends bought so they would have a place to go and blow off steam. Eventually, Neale would draw up a logo that was placed on Shelbys first-ever GT350r right before its first race. As history has it that car would go on to win that first race and the emblem found its own place in the record books. This example is a great replica of what you would have seen racing in the SCCA Tran Am series of the day. The yellow paint is probably nicer than any of those race cars as it calls out for your attention. The stickers on the car are all classic 60s and even have Shelby listed as social director which he actually was in Terlingua. Under the hood is a very healthy 302 that has a ton of power with a great exhaust note. Hit the button for the remote cutouts and that sweet exhaust note becomes a nasty growl. The C4 transmission handles the power nicely transferring to the 8 inch rear-end. Open the doors and a black vinyl interior is very inviting. The bucket seats are comfortable while giving you that old school feels. You will see something that never came in the original race cars and that is AC. Yes, you get the look and feel of an old school SCCA race car with the comfort of AC does it really get any better than that. If you have been wanting to get into a car that has the nostalgia racer look with some modern comfort thrown in this is the Pony for you. Options on this 1968 Ford Mustang include AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. Own a piece of History! This is a very nice car!! Recently seen on display at the 2020 World of Wheels show where it won 1st in its class! Showing just how nice this car is! Be sure to visit our main web page, www.gatewayclassiccars.com where you can view 100+ pictures, and a short video of this amazing car in action. Along with all the rest of our fantastic inventory in this as well as our other seventeen showrooms! Better yet, stop by our Indianapolis showroom and see the car in person! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is thrilled to offer a very unusual automobile, a 1938 Fiat Topolino! The Topolino was one of the smallest cars in the world at the time of its production. Launched in 1936, three models were produced until 1955. Nearly 520,000 were sold. Our bright red and yellow flamed Topololino is quite a sight to behold! Painted in the brightest of red with yellow flames on the front, this mighty Topolino (Little Mouse in Italian) has the appearance of a Funny Car race car that you might see tearing up the dragstrip. And, although this Topolino can roar loudly when prompted, this one-of-a-kind eye-catcher is really quite streetable and runs on pump gas. With power supplied by a Chevrolet V-6 engine, the possibilities of winning a race to the next stop light on Main Street is vastly improved via a more than recommended supply of air to fuel mixture that is forced into the engine by a 471 blower! This uncommon power adder sits neatly atop the engine, and a very cool air filter that protrudes through the hood for all to see, sits on top of the blower. Stay out of the blower with light use of the gas pedal and acquired speeding tickets will lessen, as well. And, if all of this excitement isnt enough for you add racing style wheels and seats, AM/FM stereo, power windows, power locks, tilt steering wheel, power antenna and keyless entry, youll be making excuses to run to your local grocery store. Call your friends today at Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City to make this awesome, one-of-a-kind little but mighty mouse yours. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is fired up to present this 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. While Corvettes have always been regarded as the flagship performance car in Chevys lineup, the ZR1 came as an above and beyond edition being one of the best alongside the Grand Sport in terms of collectability and production numbers. Chevrolet decided to step it up when they made the ZR1 by featuring a Mercury Marine built 5.7-liter LT5 V8 under the hood which featured a 4 overhead camshaft courtesy of joint design between Chevrolet and Lotus and produced 375 horsepower through the ZF 6-speed manual gearbox. This powertrain was found to be worthy of competing in and winning a 24 hour endurance race and winning averaging 175 miles per hour while doing so. The suspension was a complete redesign over the C4 body style setup done by Lotus making for a tight handling experience which included the chassis being 4 inches wider in the rear to accommodate the colossal 315mm wide tires. This suspension redesign along with the upgraded powertrain makes for a Corvette that truly feels ready for the track. The glossy black beauty is loaded with features like air conditioning, traction control, cruise control, power leather seats, power steering, power brakes, hard targa top with optional glass top, on the fly power tune control, and ride control showing that this Vette is truly a step above the rest. A true ZR1 doesnt pop up too often so seize the opportunity to own one! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1957 Chevrolet 210 for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. Its almost all too easy to go out in the world and find a dime a dozen Chevys from the 50s that have been modified far beyond their original form. This black on black beauty takes things in a different direction keeping it on the side of being original. The 210 grabs you with its glossy Onyx Black exterior which is matched in the rear as where it is typical to have a two-toned color for contrast. The ominous black appearance is set off with chrome fixtures, trim and bumpers that show that they have been extremely well cared for since being gone over. Under the hood of this black beauty lies a Blue Flame 140 inline 6-cylinder engine that runs like a top with crisp throttle and easy starting on every try. The 6-popper is attached to an automatic transmission offering ease of use and smooth crisp shifts making the ride of this car virtually seamless. An interesting piece of history on this car is that it is what is referred to as a “parts bin car where back in the day vehicles were put together with what was left on the assembly line near the end of a cars production making for truly unique vehicles with a roll of the dice of what the car would pack for features. This Chevy has only had 3 owners in total and has never seen snow in its lifetime. To find something like this is truly a rarity so dont miss your chance to own a true gem in the classic car community! This 1957 Chevrolet 210 is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1963 Buick Riviera ! This one does have the Original Wheels and 2 sets of Hubcaps that go with it. The Buick Riviera is a personal luxury car that was marketed by Buick from 1963 to 1999. The production Riviera was introduced on October 4, 1962, as a 1963 model, its distinctive bodyshell was unique to the marque, unusual for a GM product. The design was substantially the same as the original, less expensively hidden headlights concealed in the fender grilles.[5] The elegant ground-up styling sported the new Coke bottle look introduced the year before on the arresting Studebaker Avanti, with a tapered midsection surrounded by flaring fenders. There was no trace of the Sweepspear used on beltlines of earlier Buicks with the Riviera package, It rode a cruciform frame similar to the standard Buick frame, but shorter and narrower, with a 2.0 in (51 mm) narrower track. Its wheelbase of 117 in (3,000 mm) and overall length of 208 in (5,300 mm) were 6.0 inches (150 mm) and 7.7 in (200 mm) shorter, respectively, than a Buick LeSabre, but slightly longer than a contemporary Thunderbird. At 3,998 lb (1,813 kg),[8]:210 it was about 390 pounds (180 kg) lighter than either. It shared the standard Buick V8 engines, with a displacement of either 401 cu in (6.57 L) or 425 cu in (6.96 l), and the unique continuously variable design twin turbine automatic transmission. Power brakes were standard, using Buicks massive Al-Fin (aluminum finned) drums of 12 in (300 mm) diameter. Power steering was standard equipment, with an overall steering ratio of 20.5:1, giving 3.5 turns lock-to-lock. The Rivieras suspension used Buicks standard design, with double wishbones up front and a live axle located by trailing arms and a lateral track bar in the rear, but the roll centers were lowered to reduce body lean. Although its coil springs were actually slightly softer than other Buicks, the Rivieras lighter weight made its ride somewhat firmer. While still biased towards understeer, contemporary testers considered it one of the most driveable American cars, with an excellent balance of comfort and agility. Buicks 325 hp (242 kW) 401 cu in (6.6 l) Nailhead V-8 was initially the only available engine,[8]:204 fitted with dual exhaust as standard equipment, and the turbine drive the only transmission.[8]:206 Base price was $4,333,[8]:210 running upwards of $5,000 delivered with typical options. Buick announced an optional 340 hp (254 kW) 425 cu in (7.0 l) version of the Nailhead in December 1962. Total production was deliberately limited to 40,000 vehicles (in a year that Buick sold 440,000 units overall) to emphasize the Rivieras exclusivity and to increase demand; only 2,601 were delivered with the delayed availability larger engine in the 1963 model year. With the same power as the bigger Buicks and less weight, the Riviera had sparkling all-around performance: Motor Trend found it capable of running 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in 8 seconds or less, the standing quarter mile in about 16 seconds, and an observed top speed of 115 miles per hour (185 km/h). Fuel economy was a meager 13.2 miles per US gallon (17.8 L/100 km; 15.9 mpg imp). Front leg room was 40.1 inches.[9] Inside, the Riviera featured a luxurious four-place cabin with front bucket seats and bucket-style seats in the rear. A center console with floor shifter and storage compartment built into the instrument panel divided the front. Upholstery choices included all-vinyl, cloth and vinyl, or optional leather. A deluxe interior option included real walnut inserts on the doors and below the rear side windows. Extra-cost options included a tilt steering wheel, power windows, power drivers seat, air conditioning, a remote-controlled side view mirror, and white sidewall tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to welcome this iconic 1969 Chevy Blazer. While Jeep, International, and Ford had been making small off-road-oriented but decidedly on-road used multi-purpose vehicles, it was GM who super-sized them to the half-ton pickup platform. Essentially a K-10 pickup with a very short integral box as part of the interior, the K-5 Blazer pioneered the pickup-based SUV. That is where it all ends with this bright orange, one-of-a kind 1969 Chevy Blazer. This vehicle has been lowered, has the roof chopped off and underneath youll find a 9 bold, narrowed rear end with Weld chrome racing wheels that are wrapped with huge Mickey Thompsons, measuring 33x22.50-15 on the rear and 26x7.50-15 on the front, giving this ride a mean looking staggered stance. There are no exterior door handles and there arent any windshield wipers. This is summertime cruising machine begging to be driven. The interior is carpeted up front and in the back. It has power brakes, power steering and a 396 with a 400 automatic transmission with a 373 gear ratio. Truly an amazing machine! Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of American muscle in our Denver Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present this very nice 1941 Cadillac 62 Series Deluxe Coupe, This Caddy is in excellent overall condition and has some rare options and features. This is the only Coupe I have seen with a full red leather interior-which appears original, along with the original black paint complimented with nice chrome that helps highlight the exterior. Under the hood this 1941 Cadillac is equipped with a 346 CID V8 Monobloc with a 3-spd selective synchromesh manual transmission with the shifter mounted on the column. The car has performed well over the years and has been regularly maintained, as it runs and drives exceptional, the car doesnt need much to be enjoyed immediately. Styling was heavily emphasized for 41, and when new these opulent Cadillacs emerged looking quite distinctive. The prow-nose motif of the Thirties was gone and replaced by a blunter and more imposing frontal design that was highlighted by a dramatic horizontal egg crate grille - a theme that has been continued to this day. The coffin-nose-style hood (evidence of the industry-wide effect of Cord styling)and the headlights integrated into the broader fenders separated it from all Cadillacs that had gone before. Meanwhile a three-piece front bumper guard (one horizontal) provided a cove to protect the license plate while sporting the optional rare fog lights on either side. At the rear the fenders show squarer, the left taillight hides the gas-filler cap, and twin vertical bars divide the rear window into three segments. Three horizontal chrome speed stripes on the front and rear fenders of this model help promote the theory of movement while standing still. Roughly 1700 of these cars were produced and few survived making this car a certain standout at any gathering of important cars. Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this classic 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolets new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tail-fins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a faux hood scoop and a 140 mph speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didnt possess. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird has a metallic Green exterior in very good condition, that looks great coupled with the clean white vinyl interior. The two complement each other very nicely. Powered by a rebuilt, numbers matching 312 CID V8 engine backed by a 3-speed (overdrive) Manual Transmission, this zippy little 1957 Ford Thunderbird is so much fun to drive.
