Description:

All original and numbers matching! This well kept coupe looks like it just stepped right out of the showroom as it did 90 years ago. The gray exterior paint was redone over 8 years ago and still looks very nice with minimal blemishes. The stock all-steel body has not been hacked up and is riding along smoothly on a set of steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps and wrapped in Coker radial wide white wall tires for extra stability. As you slide on into the interior you can feel the springy bench seat adjust to your weight. Settle in and put the key in the ignition and turn it not to start it, but to unlock the steering column. Flip the switch into the “on” position, push in the clutch, pull the choke while giving it a couple pumps of the accelerator, and hit the button resulting in an almost instantaneous start followed by a smooth purr. The 3-speed standard gear box connected to the flathead V8 makes for a fun and unique driving experience. It is not a high powered hot rod, but it is still just as fun to cruise down the main drag and turn some heads! This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1937 Ford Coupe in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1968 1/2 Ford Torino GT. This Torino for sale is not your average grocery getter from the ‘60’s. Stuffed between the shock towers of this Torino GT is a master piece of Ford technology the 428 Cobra jet engine with factory ram air. This R code beauty was built to get the ice cream home before it melted. In 1968 the 428 had an advertized rating of 335 horsepower with 445 Feet pounds of torque running 10.6:1 compression pistons. Now I believe Ford might have fudged the numbers to the low side to placate the insurance companies. Now according to the Marti report this is a very rare car Torino GT 2 door fastback with the 428-4V CJ covered in candy apple red with black interior originally had the 4.30:1 axle ratio with traction loc. This has been changed to a more gas friendly 3.25:1 final drive ratio. Other than that the only other changes are the Edelbrock Torker intake and 780 street avenger carburetor. The transmission is the venerable c-6 select shift cruise -o-matic .Other option listed on the Marti repot are center console, power brakes and steering and AM radio. This car has been restored to within 98% and is a winner of multiple shows with only about 2100 miles since rebuild and shows like new. So here is your chance to own something that you will not find an entire row of that the local car show. This car needs a row to itself, because let’s face it, how many 1968 ½ R code Ford Torino’s were made? Options for this R code1968 1/2 Grand Torino 428 cobra jet include, Horsepower and torque, AM radio, hub caps, power brakes and steering, seat belts, Vinyl interior, Radial tires with white letters. A $212.15 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this 2004 Saleen Mustang S281-E series! The E, for “Extreme,” goes far beyond the usual bolt-on power route, with a highly internally modified version of Ford’s 4.6L SOHC V-8. Saleen developed and built this new engine in house, under the eyes of powerplant guru Bill Tally and chief engineer Neil Hannemann. They developed the GTS-R into a multiple GT-championship and three-time Le Mans class winner. Upgrades to the engine include a forged crankshaft, pistons and connecting rods as well as upgraded camshafts, and valve springs. This modified long block is fed air and fuel through a 90mm mass air unit, a larger inlet tube, and a new intake manifold. The exhaust gases exit via a 2.5-in. stainless-steel exhaust system including a newly developed X-pipe and dual center-exit tips. Saleen tops it off with a high-quality series IV twin-screw supercharger and a water-to-air intercooler, then backs it up with a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual trans and an 11-in. clutch. The result is 425 hp at 5400 rpm and a 440-lb-ft torque peak.n order for the chassis to keep up with its newfound power, the E gets 18-in. alloys, larger vented and cross-drilled brakes, and Saleen’s Racecraft suspension package. Not to mention the composite hood/fascia/rocker panel/wing, plus a full Saleen interior and a host of other upgrades the S281-E’s specs and performance are impressive as this Mustang is extremely quick. This particular Saleen has the paperwork to back up its claims and comes with a Saleen letter of authenticity. This car is one of only 2 made in Dark Shadow Grey. There were only six extereme models built in 2004. You will kick yourself if you let this rare beauty go. Please visit us at gatewayclassiccars.com. The body has 113,262 miles on it, but you couldnt tell it has 20,000 miles on it because it is that clean. The entire drivetrain only has 2,000 miles on it and is ready to hit the track, car cruises, car shows, and anything else you want to toss its way. When you fire her up she will make your heart skip and beat and take your breath away! She was built to look stock inside and out with just a few things giving it away that she means business! Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this 4 owner 1968 Pontiac GTO! After being assembled in the factory during the fall of 1967 the car was then sent to Price Frederick Motor Co. in Maryland. The car was then sold from there in December of 1968. The original owner kept the car up until 1994 when it was sold to a gentleman in Virginia. The second owner enjoyed the car until December of 2005 when the 3rd owner purchased the car. The 3rd owner gave it a frame off restoration before selling it to the current owner back in 2012. The 4th owner enjoyed it for the past 7 years, but know it is time for another lucky person to get behind the wheel of this beauty! The current odometer reads only 98,595 miles and is believed to be actual miles. The 2nd and 3rd owner put some work into the car to get it into the shape it is today. The second owner had the engine rebuilt by a professional name Jim Taylor out of Virginia. We believe the engine to be original to the car and is a YS code. The rebuild kept the Compression ratio stock at 10.75 to 1. He replaced the camshaft and intake with the Torquer Series by Edelbrock. It was also fitted with roller rockers and a new Quick fuel SS-750 Carb was installed in October of 2011. It also received new hoses, T-stat, Howe 4 core Radiator, Twin electric cooling fans, alternator, Belts, HEI distributor, Distributor Cap, rotors, wires, plugs, and new fender wells to make the engine bay nice and clean. The new engine breathes through a set of powder coated Hooker Headers, into a 3 system with super turbos that come out below the rear bumper. This car is impossible not to see or hear coming and is sure to intimidate all others. The transmission is a factory correct Turbo 400 which was also rebuilt. It has a 2800-3000 Stall converter and a shift kit for firm shifts. The differential is numbers matching WD 10 bolt rear end with newer Auburn Carrier and Richmond gears with a 3:90 ratio. The installation also included new bearings, seals, and an aluminum cover. The two automatic cooling fans kick on automatically when a temperature of 190 is reached. They are also hooked up to a manual switch for the hot summer days. Inside the car still has the original white vinyl interior, but the carpet and headliner have been replaced. The dash houses the Speedometer, Clock, engine temp, Oil Pressure, and gas gauge. The stock gauges regarding the engine do not currently work, but aftermarket gauges under the center dash for the Oil pressure, Voltage and water Temp do work and show the condition of the engine. The A/C was converted to 134 A in May of 2011, but it does not currently work. In between the bucket seats is the His and Hers shifter which adds the cool factor for the car. The RPM gauge on the hood currently lights and is getting power but does not currently work as it should. This sweet GTO is looking for its next owner! Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this clean steel bodied 1940 International D-2 Pickup. The D series International pickups were produced from 1937 up to 1952 where it was then replaced with the K series. With the curved fenders, and V shaped front in this truck truly stands out in a crowd. Something unique about this truck is that the current owner purchased it from the original owners son prior to the restoration. That simply means hands have not been changed very much on this truck and it still shows well today. Powered by a more modern Chevrolet 350 CID V8 this truck has no issues cruising down the highway. The motor is from a 75 half ton pick-up while the heads are from a 79-83 chevy. Putting out an estimated 300hp this engine was said to have been rebuilt roughly 3,000 miles ago. The engine has been paired up to a TH350 transmission making driving this truck simple. Being nearly 80 years old this truck did have to undergo a bit of a restoration to be road worthy. Some of the fresh additions include: coated headers, AFCO aluminum transmission cooler, AFCO aluminum radiator and overflow tank, new AC compressor, new alternator, front disc brakes, power steering, and an Edelbrock 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetor. The front and rear subframe is from a 68 Lemans with the center frame rails being the original 1940 international. For improved handling compared to factory setup, this truck features a GTO front sway bar, and 69 Chevelle traction bars. To set the truck up more to your personal ride preference, rear air shocks have also been added. Apart from the extensive mechanical work, this truck also looks great visually. With a custom 2-tone PPG paint colored in a beautiful Vanilla Shake/Dark Blue Pearl this truck is something not everyone has. This truck isnt one of your typical “Me To vehicles. Driving this beauty around town, people will know whose truck it is and you would be proud knowing youre the only one with one like it. Some of the nice touches done to the exterior of this truck includes American Racing Wheels, Juliano taillights, the original headlights and park lights, functional crank out windshield, aluminum bed plate, and even a hidden trailer receiver hitch with a trailer light plug. The interior of this truck shows as well as the outside. You get the added comfort of more modern leather bucket seats which are in good condition. If you need a little extra leg room, the tilt column allows you to make some quick adjustments. Once your sitting in the driver seat, wrap your hands around the Lecarra aluminum and leather steering wheel. This truck is only here until its gone so be sure to call us as soon as you can to get this beauty added to your collection.
