Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is presenting this 1985 Mazda RX7 in the Milwaukee Showroom. While there have been many marvels in engineering among the modern automobile, none have been quite as unique as the Wankel engine, also known as the rotary motor. Beginning in the late 1800s the rotary engine had applications in things as small as bicycles and evolution found the in motorcycles in the earyly 1900s but it wasnt until the year 1929 that a German engineer by the name of Felix Wankel developed a version of the rotary engine that incorporated an eccentric rotary design. This utilized an eccentric shaft that made a constant movement of a triangular shaped rotor being propelled in the off space between the rotor and the housing through the principle of combustion. Mazda undertook the concept when they took up a study contract on the Wankel in 1961 for automotive applications from the practical all the way up to racing due to its extremely high revving capabilities associated with the design of the engine. The fist RX7 was made the year 1978 and a cult following of one of the greatest Japanese vehicles was born. The 1985 year, which this is, came armed with a 12A Rotary engine under the hood, which incorporated a hardened housing and variable induction ports. The unique piece of engineering is bolted to a 5-speed transmission which offers the true feel of what it means to drive a pinnacle of performance JDM history. The RX7 is equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette, power windows, power steering, and a manual sunroof to let a summers breeze in. Dont pass up your chance to own a gorgeous and clean RX7 that has not been butchered! This 1985 Mazda RX7 is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to feature this racy 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. F-Body Camaros were in their 4th and final generation by 1995 and this liftback coupe is true mid-90s in terms of style and ergonomics. Painted in “Medium Quasar Blue, this Z28 looks ready for the track in its gray painted striping kit that was recently re-shot in the last year. Thats not all that has been refreshed on this Camaro either; new brakes, rear shocks and BF Goodrich tires were installed prior to this car being listed for sale. Inside youll enjoy the comfort and design of Black cloth bucket seats with the typical convenient creature comforts youd expect on a modern muscle car such as air conditioning, an AM/FM radio with cassette, tilt wheel and more. Those Z28 badges arent there for nothing- under the hood is a fuel-injected, small-block LT1 V8 motor that was also used in C4 Corvettes. The motor has been gone through recently with new engine gaskets, all new fluids and has a cold air intake system added. The estimate for the LT1 engines from the factory was 275hp and thats plenty to enjoy when you have a 6-speed T-56 Borg Warner manual transmission to play with. This 1995 Chevrolet for sale has had just 2 owners from new and has been well cared for by both. Its time for this good-looking American sports car to find a new home. Now is a great time to invest in a 4th generation Camaro as the prices are still affordable but theyre quickly gaining collector status. Give our helpful and attentive Sales team a call today and well put our eyes and ears on this sweet 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for you to answer any additional questions. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1987 Lincoln Mark VII Coupe! Ford had good success out of their fox platform used on the likes of the Thunderbird, Cougar, Fairmont and Zephyr. Also used for the Continental Series that brings its use into the Mark VII. Here is a factory LSC (Luxury Sport Coupe) converted to C&C Series. More on that shortly. Walking around the car the paint is in good shape, expected blemishes here and there. The camel leather interior is sharp, very nice shape. This Mark VII presents well. Under the hood is a 5.0L V8 and offers an automatic transmission. Outside of all the factory options on this LSC it has actually received the Series 938 designation which is the C&C Series GTC. That stands for Component & Concepts Grand Touring Coupe. The conversion includes the following: complete monochromatic paint scheme, lower body side panels, extended rear valance panels, front air dam, GTC Vehicle Identification, and factory wheels painted body color. MSRP for the conversions was $4,995. Current owner acquired this car from a private sale and has had it for over 30 years! Carfax shows clean history, no accidents and shows good maintenance records. Only items known not operating normally are passenger window doesnt go down very far and the sunroof could use a new seal. She looks like a great new addition to your collection! You dont see many LSC conversions to GTC by C&C, rarer car for sure! Options on this Mark VII are: A/C, Power Steering/Brakes, Leather Interior, Power Seats/Windows/Locks, Sunroof, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, Anti-theft system, and alloy wheels. This 1987 Lincoln Mark VII GTC C&C is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 street rod. This award winning street rod has been beautifully assembled with help from some of the best in the business. This all steel 39 has been professionally stripped and prepped for one of the nicest black paintjobs you will find. The body modifications are subtle, such as removing side vents, bumpers and mounts removed, and the addition of a custom rear roll pan which houses the single exhaust outlet. The body style is so beautiful, there is no need to chop or channel, by simply smoothing and simplifying, a custom looking body is the result. This sedan sits on its original chassis that has been modified to accommodate a Mustang II front suspension and air ride and has been powder coated for durability. The Mustang II setup is from Lakeshore Fabrication which features air ride, Heidts 2 drop spindles, and Unisteer steering. The brakes are supplied by Wilwood and are drilled and slotted disc in all four corners. The rear suspension features a 4 bar setup with air ride. The rear end is a 9 Ford with a 3.26 final drive ratio and limited slip. The Plymouth sits on one off Foose wheels, 18 in front and 20 in the rear wrapped in Nitto tires. Under the hood is a hot LS2 GM crate engine. These LS engines have become the go-to for street rodders looking for a powerful and reliable drive train. The LS2 is mostly stock but does have a custom made air intake which utilizes a classic style air cleaner from a 56 Buick Nailhead. To stay true to the car, custom valve covers have been made as well to sport the Plymouth name. The LS2 breathes through Sanderson headers and dual exhaust that exits through a center outlet. The transmission is a 4L80-E automatic with overdrive. The interior is very tastefully done with saddle leather throughout. Wood grain on the dash and window surrounds give a classy look as well as the original steering wheel. Modern comforts like power seat and air conditioning are nicely integrated so they dont look out of place. To quench your thirst during those summer month car shows, the center console doubles as a drink cooler which drains to the outside. The air compressor and battery are nicely hidden behind a panel in the beautifully finished trunk. The entire interior features square weave carpet which adds to the classy look. Overall class and refinement has been kept in mind when building this street rod. Theres no flames, or TV screens, or gaudy colors. The Plymouth still has the spirit of the original car, with the comfort, and performance of a modern car. You can see this 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an award winning 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. I will go ahead and say this; no manufacturer will ever make a convertible as pleasing as this again. 1957 was the last year of the second generation body style for the Bel Air. It seems as if they stopped because they knew it couldnt get any better. In 57, Chevrolet introduced the 283 CID V8 engine that produced 283 HP. The option of a fuel injected engine was available and is quite rare these days. This Bel Air offers 220HP 4-Barrel carbureted 283 V8 engine that is backed by an automatic transmission. Both are numbers matching and original to the car. The odometer reads 2,843, which represents the mileage since the frame off restoration was complete. Boasting its original colors, the Chevy shows beautifully in gloss black and is surrounded by chrome. Looking inside the red and silver interior takes you right back to the 50s. Have a seat, turn the key, and operate the automatic convertible top switch and youll be wondering why havent you done this before? The red and silver vinyl interior is paired well with a white convertible top. Options for this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible include: Wonderbar AM Radio, Two Tone Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Antenna, Tissue Dispenser, Flameout Vacuum Ashtray, Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires, and Knock-Off Style Hub Caps. The ’57 Chevy is one of the most recognized icons in the Automotive industry. Stylish and Sporty the there’s no doubt that it’s one of America’s best and most loved cars. This 57 Bel Air convertible was awarded the VCCA 1st Place Junior Gold Award in 2011, where it scored 984 out of a possible 1000 points. In 2012 it was awarded the AACA Senior National 1st prize and the Peoples Choice award at the Concours d Elegance in Hilton Head Island, SC. Heres the chance of owning a piece of American history that still serves a purpose. Put on the white rimmed sunglasses and enjoy. To view this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind 1955 Chevrolet Apache. This truck has had very extensive work done to it and is in extremely good condition. All the work has been performed by Ekstensive Metal Works. Ekstensive Metal Works is better known by their TV show name Texas Metal, which airs on the Velocity channel. Under and through the hood of this super clean truck is a Weiand supercharged 502 CID V8 that runs just as well as it looks. Sending the power to the rear end is a Turbo-400 three-speed transmission. The rear end is a 9 ford that is finished in a gloss black paint. The hood cut-out provides room for the blower and intake to stick through and gives a shaker hood feel to the front of the truck. The massive blower provides an intoxicating whine even when sitting at idle and rivals the volume of the already loud exhaust system which features electric cutouts that dump at the headers. Feeding the gigantic 6-71 blower are two Holley four-barrel carburetors that ensure this beauty doesn’t run out of fuel to burn when under full boost. The fuel is sent to the engine via a polished new fuel tank that enhances the underbody of the truck. Setting the stance of the truck are adjustable coil-over shocks. The truck sits atop polished alloy Intro brand wheels wrapped in Pirelli performance tires. The front tires are 265/30 ZR22 and the rears are 405/25 ZR24. To put the rear tire size into perspective, the widest tires on a production car are on a Lamborghini Aventador SV... and theyre only 355mm wide. When it comes time to stop those massive tires, the driver will appreciate the drilled and slotted Willwood front and rear disc brakes with black painted calipers. Moving outward, the exterior of this truck is in near perfect condition. All the chrome is very nice and in like new condition. The Sierra Sand colored paint is in excellent shape with almost no blemishes or imperfections. The bed wood has been replaced and is in very good condition as well with a deep stain to accent the bed from the paint. Overall, the exterior of this truck is almost perfect. Moving inward, getting into the truck is made classy by the suicide doors. Upon entering the vehicle, the driver will be greeted by light tan leather throughout and a tilt steering wheel. The doors feature a simple, yet elegant stitching pattern that reminds the driver that theyre in a very well-built resto-mod. The leather bucket seats are very comfortable and spacious. Sitting between the two seats is a leather wrapped center console that houses the shifter. The dash of the truck is paint matched to the body and is in just as good condition. This truck also features power brakes and steering for comfortable cruising. Tucked in the dash is a modern CD player/radio that adds to the modern comfort of this beauty. Overall, this is an extremely well-done truck and is probably one of the finest examples of a resto-mod Chevrolet Apache around. To see all the HD pictures and video, please go to http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1094/1955-chevrolet-apache. For even more information on this 1955 Chevrolet Apache located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832) 243-6220, or email the showroom at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.
