Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a 1963 Nova SS Gasser street car for sale in our Atlanta showroom. This recent build with just 1,200-miles, took part in the 2018 Power Tour, accounting for 840- of those miles. She is powered by a dual quad 355 cu in; 10.7-1 Hypermatic flat top pistons; with 59cc aluminum heads, driving through a Muncie M-21 close ratio transmission to a 10 bolt positraction rear end with 3:55 gears. The steel body is painted in the original Fawn Gold paint with heavy metallic, and the interior is the matching color, with light-weight bucket seats, lacking the rear seat. She screams like in the old days with the wheel well headers, and the sparkle in the paint. This car is a head turner, and a smile fetcher! The build information is documented, and contained in the file. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this ultra-rare 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS. The Camaro was Chevy’s answer to the revolutionary Mustang that Ford had introduced in 64. Although it was late to the party there is no doubt that the Camaro had a huge impact and influence on the automotive industry. This 67 is an unbelievably rare find with options that were pieced together for a very specific customer. So, rare that you will only find a total of 17 of them ever made and probably the only one to exist today. This beautifully restored 67 has everything a collector is looking for from the complete original paperwork to the numbers matching drivetrain this one has all the boxes checked. Let’s start off with the most important thing when talking about a muscle car, the engine. This little Mustang eater is packing a serious punch with the original SS350/295 horse engine intact and completely rebuilt. Matched up to the exact power glide transmission it left the factory with this blue beauty rides and drives just like it should. As with the rest of the car the exterior was brought back to its original form. The Marina Blue paint is as slick as they come with the correct white vinyl top bringing the car back to original condition. The bias ply tires give the look and ride quality of a true 1967 Camaro with the Rally wheels being almost as iconic as the car itself. Open the door and this is where things get different. The bench seat is probably going to be the first thing you notice with a very limited number of Camaro’s, especially SS/RS cars, having that option. Then you notice the vinyl interior with the piping around the edges giving away the premium interior option. Not rare enough then you should flip down the back seat as it another highly rare option that many did not take advantage of. We have had a lot of cars come through our showroom but I don’t believe we have had one with such an array of options. Whether you are a collector looking for a on off piece or just an enthusiast looking for an incredibly clean first gen Camaro this car will make a great addition for either one. Options on this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt, Power Windows, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts and Bias Ply Tires wrapped around Rally Wheels. This goregous 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang S code. After such a successful launch many were surprised that only after 2 years ford would do its first major redesign of the car that turned the auto world upside down. It would be longer and wider, but the wheel base would remain the same. The biggest news yet was the addition of the 390 to the already huge engine line up. This would be the first big block to go into a Mustang making these S code ponies’ highly desirable. This beauty has gone through a frame off restoration and looks as good as any on the market. The blue paint is slick and shows extremely well. The white racing stripes show this car means business and gives the car that classic pony car look. Those magnum 500 wheels look great on the car and were the right choice for this build. The GT package was a hot option for these cars with over 24000 opting for the sportier look and of course the dual exhaust. Under the hood is the 390 320 HP engine that made these cars so popular. This beauty ahs the rare option of AC, something not commonly found on these 390 cars as they were more intended for the enthusiast than your every day driver. Backed by the C6 transmission this big block pony car is as simple as dropping it in drive and hitting the gas. Inside you will see a nicely done interior that is period correct and looks like it came right out of 1967. The black buckets upfront have the center console coming in between them and reminding you what a true pony car should be. Housing the automatic shifter this car can be driven with ease and confidence by anyone who wishes to do so. The pony car market seems to be on fire again with these true big block cars finally bringing the money they have always deserved. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1969 Ford Bronco. Nothing says classic 4x4 like a nice bronco and this one certainly stands out in a crowd. The Bronco began production in 1965 and through 1996. With fingers crossed it’s expected that a new generation is going to come to life some time after 2020, you can even see a sneak peak of this modern bronco in the film “Rampage”. This beauty is powered by a strong running 302 CID V8 and has been very well maintained through the years. The engine is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission which in this case is referred to “3 on the tree”. The current owner has had it for 25 years, and it’s a single-family vehicle with the original owner being the currents owner’s father’s uncle. With several updates done to the truck it’s certainly capable of cruising down the highway. Some of the upgrades include front disc brakes, electronic ignition, new body mounts, new springs, and a gear reduction to the starter motor. Trying to keep the truck in as original condition as possible yet maintaining it to be a daily driver I would say it’s certainly a well-kept truck. Painted in a “Cordoba Orange” with the accented white top this truck really catches some attention. The paint was done by “Bill’s Mustang” out of Bakersfield, Ca and still shows well. The white top is complimented by matching interior to include the door panels, front bucket seats, and rear bench seat as well. No need to worry about hot summer days as this bronco comes with cold blowing A/C as well. Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is an original steel body 1932 Ford Model B Roadster with a Rumble Seat. This is the real deal, all Henry Ford Steel! This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20s and early 30s but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920s the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model B was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930s, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. Luckily, but the time the Model B came around, you could actually have it in any color you like. This particular roadster comes in a Henry Ford’s favorite color, black, which is paired perfectly with the dark brown interior. If you are looking for a real steel Model B that retains a large part of its originality and great drivability, then this is the Model B Roadster for you. There were less than 3500 Model B’s produced and this beauty is the real deal. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to list this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible. This car is turn key and fire right up just ready to hit the streets. Nothing like the sound of a Chevy V8 engine and in a convertible to really make you enjoy a summer night cruise. The 1971 Chevelle was treated to new front-end and rear-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. New dual round taillights were integral with the back bumper. Because SS models suffered heavy insurance surcharges, Chevrolet introduced the Heavy Chevy at midyear, which was based on the base Chevelle, and was available with any V8 engine except the 454, which was exclusive to SS models. Chevrolet specifications for 1971 included both gross and net horsepower figures for all engines. The standard Chevelle SS engine was a two-barrel 350-cubic-inch V8 rated at 245 gross (165 net) horsepower. This stunning Chevelle does have a newer crate 350 small block that was installed about 20 miles ago and it runs great. It is paired to a smooth shifting 3 speed automatic transmission. The red paint on this car shines bright in the sun and has been redone to be in great condition. The black vinyl interior does not show its age due to it not having any rips or tears. This car even has upgraded sound system to a more modern stereo and speakers. The classic style is kept with the Cragar wheels and white letter BF Goodrich tires, it does have another set of rims that come with it as well. This car is set up with the R12 original A/C that still blows cool to this day. The power top makes an aggressive look go to a sporty convertible and even more fun drive in a matter of minutes. This car is perfect for any collection and could even be used as a daily driver. Everyone should enjoy dropping the top on a classic Chevelle and pushing the throttle down to feel the rush of American muscle.
