Description:

An old school roadster with a ton of horsepower getting pushed out of a small block Chevy. Whats not to love! The Ford Model T (colloquially known as the Tin Lizzie, Leaping Lena, or flivver) is an automobile that was produced by Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927. The Ford Model T was named the most influential car of the 20th century in the 1999 Car of the Century competition. The Model T was Fords first automobile mass-produced on moving assembly lines with completely interchangeable parts, marketed to the middle class. Henry Ford said. “I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one – and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in Gods great open spaces.” This bright Chrome Yellow Ford Roadster acquired a new body in the mid ‘60s by Grant King. She was completely rebuilt in March of 2000. With stainless steel brake lines, new crossmembers, and the frame was also painted. This beautiful little roadster has a new purple top with a new cover. She is sporting a Chevy 355 motor with a 700R4 transmission, linked up to a Ford 8” rear end with 9” 350 posi gears. The motor has been polished and painted to match the rest of the cars color scheme. Just imagine putting the top down and going to drive in this Chrome Yellow Ford Roadster. With the wind in your hair while listening to your favorite radio station. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

Now available in our DFW Showroom is this 1955 iconic Ford Thunderbird! The Thunderbird was considered a more dignified, personal luxury cruiser during its release. It had roll-up windows and standard V-8 power, both things that were not available on the first Corvettes in the 50’s. Other features included a removable fiberglass top, a fabric convertible top, and fender skirts for the rear wheels. There was one engine for the first 1955 T-Birds, and it was the 292 cid Y-Block V-8 fitted with a single four-barrel carburetor. With the standard 3-speed manual transmission, this engine made 193 horsepower, and with the optional Ford-o-Matic transmission, it made 198 horses. The exhaust pipes for the Thunderbird were integrated into the rear fascia and above the rear bumper, giving it an unmistakable Jet-Age look. This Thunderbird has a production date of, October 23rd-1954 and is one of the first 500 Thunderbirds manufactured! It still has the original 292 cu in Y-block V8 with a 3-speed manual, plus overdrive transmission. According to the owner, who’s owned it for the last 21 + years, this car has only 81,000 original miles! Other original parts to this vehicle include- Original Hardtop, Fender-skirts, Power seat, and Original AM radio for aesthetic purposes- (which isn’t functioning due to a 12-volt conversion). Other upgraded features include: Halogen headlights, LED tail lights, Interior seat, foam, door panels, carpet, dash cover, hardtop-headliner, H.D. radiator, 6 blade fan, 12-volt electrical conversion, Pertronics ignition, alternator, Holly 4000 barrel carburetor totally rebuilt, radial tires, and a space-saver spare. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is very pleased to feature this 1968 Ford Mustang in our Indianapolis Showroom! The Terlingua Racing Team was named after a small community in Texas that Carrol Shelby and some close friends bought so they would have a place to go and blow off steam. Eventually Neale would draw up a logo that was placed on Shelbys first ever GT350r right before its first race. As history has it that car would go on to win that first race and the emblem found its own place in the record books. This example is a great replica of what you would have seen racing in the SCCA Tran Am series of the day. The yellow paint is probably nicer than any of those race cars as it calls out for your attention. The stickers on the car are all classic 60s and even has Shelby listed as social director which he actually was in Terlingua. Under the hood is a very healthy 302 that has a ton of power with a great exhaust note. Hit the button for the remote cutouts and that sweet exhaust note becomes a nasty growl. The C4 transmission handles the power nicely transferring to the 8 inch rear-end. Open the doors and a black vinyl interior is very inviting. The bucket seats are comfortable while giving you that old school feel. You will see something that never came in the original race cars and that is AC. Yes, you get the look and feel of an old school SCCA race car with the comfort of AC does it really get any better than that. If you have been wanting to get into a car that has the nostalgia racer look with some modern comfort thrown in this is the Pony for you. Options on this 1968 Ford Mustang include, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. Own a piece of History! This is a very nice car!! Description:

This 1969 Chevrolet C10 Short Bed Pickup Truck is for sale in our Kansas City showroom. A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: Action Line. It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. Updated styling features for the 1967 Chevy Pickup trucks came with new body sheet metal that helps fight rust and a pickup box made of double-walled steel. The majority of 10 and 20 series Chevrolet trucks from 1967 to 1972 were built with a coil spring trailing arm rear suspension, which greatly improved the ride over traditional leaf springs. The 1972 models were virtually identical to 1971 models, with the only change being the rear view mirror was glued to the windshield instead of being bolted to top of the cab, and metal or vinyl-covered flat door panels were no longer available; all trim level door panels were molded plastic with integral armrests and wood grain inserts on Cheyenne and Sierra trim levels. This beautiful 1969 Chevrolet C10 Short Bed has a beautiful Dupont Red paint job and rides like a dream with power brakes, power steering and a beautiful interior with cloth seats. Completely restored with a correct 396 engine, and only 40 miles since the rebuild, pulling this in your driveway is sure to make your neighbors envious.

Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer one of the meanest Mopars on the market. This 1967 Plymouth Satellite has been meticulously built to be a street machine. The best part about this Satellite is definitely its drivability. Allowing you to enjoy this powerful Plymouth on the road comes courtesy of a load of new suspension parts up front including all new front-end parts, new shocks and springs and even brand new shocks and springs in the rear. It also sports huge sway bars which helps limit body roll drastically. Powering this white on black Plymouth is a fully rebuilt 400 CID V8 that has speed in mind when it was built. Comp Cam, Proform Roller Rockers, High Volume Oil Pump, MRE Push Rods, and an 8-quart oil pan are some goodies that have been added to this badass motor. Backing all of these extra goodies is a 727 Torque Flight with a shift kit. The rear end is just impressive with its 8 3/4 Detroit Tru-Trak Posi Rear End which of course is equipped with posi-traction. It has neck snapping torque off the line and that is thanks to its 3:90 gear ratio, which ensures that Chevys and Fords will taste some Mopar dust coming out of the 2 1/2-inch stainless exhaust that is dumped near the rear axle. This mean Mopar is in amazing shape and is possibly one of the nicest engineered and built Satellites on the road. The brightwork and glass are in great shape and the aggressive Weld Wheels and sticky oversized tires give it a time correct appeal. If you are in the market for a classic muscle car that you can actually enjoy, you shouldnt overlook this one. Call us at 313-982-3100 to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff or email us directly at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com. See more at: WWW.GatewayClassicCars.com/DET/1536

Description:

Now for sale in our Dallas showroom is this cherry 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS. When this Goldenrod Yellow Impala SS rolled from the GM assembly line in 1964, it was one of the sharpest Chevrolets ever produced. The 1447 VIN code identifies this restored 64 Sport Coupe as a true SS V8. Every indication is that it was an original 4-speed car, most likely a 327ci small-block. The 943 code Goldenrod Yellow paint is a nice contrast to the white Interior, and looks great from any angle. Originally a 327 SS car, under the hood now lurks a 454 CID Chevy Big Block V8 with lots of chrome goodies, including polished aluminum intake with polished Holley 4BBL carb, chrome valve covers, Backing the stout big block is the SS Muncie 4 Speed Manual transmission with overdrive. Fire this puppy up and listen to the throaty burble that emanates from the dual exhaust while you get settled in to the cockpit, which just screams nostalgia. White vinyl seating is nicely offset by the multi-hued Black and Chrome, and the black carpet, which looks very fresh. The door panels seat upholstery and the dash and headliner are all in very good condition as well. This X Frame chassis 1964 Impala SS for sale also features four wheel disc brakes, which add a performance look behind the Chevrolet Rally wheels, and all 4 corners are shod with 255/60R-15 Goodyear radial tires. This Impala SS is ready to cruise the streets in style! Features and options on this 1964 Impala SS include vintage-style AM/FM radio, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire, and Vinyl Interior.
