Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this killer 1940 Ford 2-Door sedan for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom. Powered by the legendary 350 C.I.D. small block Chevrolet V8 engine mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. This awesome driving machine has only covered 8,339 miles since the build was completed. The eye-catching red paint job will draw attention as you cruise the boulevard in style. The cloth seats are in excellent condition and round out the well-appointed cabin nicely. This one is easy to maneuver around tight parking lots and heavy traffic, thanks to its modern power brakes and power steering. A high flat-topped hood dominated the front look of the 1940 model, as the grille spread out to reach the fenders to differentiate the Deluxe line and the headlights were pushed wider still. The standard Ford inherited the grille of the 1939 model with blackout on each side of a heavy chrome center; heavier headlight surrounds serve as another major differentiator from the 1939. 1940 was the last year of the 1937 design. Sealed-beam headlights were one of the few major advances for 1940, while a hydraulic top was new on the convertible. The 1937-1940 generation of Fords is one of the most popular automobiles for hot rodding. Early stock car racing drivers also used Fords of this generation among other cars. This Ford also formed the basis for a style of dirt track racing car. Dont miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. This 1940 Ford 2-Door Sedan is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LVS/16/1940-Ford-Sedan. Description:

For sale in our Chicago Showroom is this beastly 1971 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by a LS-5 454 big block Chevrolet V8 engine factory rated at 365 horsepower, this fiberglass performance machine is a rocket. With the rare and sought after M22 4-speed manual transmission, you are always able to get yourself right in the sweet spot for making power. That LS-5 under the hood didnt stay at 365 horsepower, however. In 2007 this Corvette went through a full restoration, and that included a tear down of the big block to pump a bit more thump into it. It was bored .030 over and given a set of blueprinted oval port iron heads to maximize flow. True Corvette fans will note the strange color combination. One of todays most popular colors, black, was never optioned in the 71 model year. This vehicle was originally painted Ontario Orange with a Saddle interior. The restorer of the vehicle wanted to have an original big block car with black paint and blue interior, but it didnt exist, so he made his own! During the restoration and entirely new fuel system, including gas tank and lines, were installed as well as a new ignition system and an overhaul on the A/C system. As one would expect, with all of that work this Vette drives like a dream; plenty of power, smooth road feel, and easy to drive. This completely restored Corvette is beauty and the beast. It would look just as good sitting in a showroom in an aggressive pose to been shown off to friends and family as it would ripping through downtown after sunset showing the younger crowd what muscle really means. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM, T-Tops, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires and Alloy Wheels. For more information on this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this amazingly clean 1970 Chevrolet C10 longbed truck for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This fully restored (in 2017) truck comes with all the history its new owner could ask for including the original build sheet and glove box tag. After being sold new in Washington state in 1970 and working hard on a farm for much of its life, the current owner performed a frame-off restoration making it as good if not better than it was on the showroom floor almost 50 years ago. Powering this truck is the numbers matching 250 CID Inline 6 engine tied to a 3-speed manual transmission with the shifter mounted on the column. What says classic pickup more than an inline 6/three-on-the-tree combination?! The exterior color matches the factory paintjob Medium Bronze and I have to say it looks stunning. The Black vinyl bench seat has been fully reupholstered and looks fantastic while the original (working!) radio will give you something to listen to other than the reliable hum of the Inline 6 while riding down country roads. Something that caught my eye about the details on this truck was the original tool box that has been repainted and not left out in the rebuild. This box was purchased by the original owner from the dealership in Washington where he bought the truck. Want to talk about this truck some more? Give our helpful and knoeledgable Sales team a call at (623) 900-4884 about this 1970 Chevrolet C10 or any of our other inventory for sale. Description:

Our Detroit showroom is proud to offer one of the coolest and world renowned, off road legends, the 1967 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser! With a recent gorgeous earth tone paint job, this Land Cruiser looks like its ready for a safari. These trucks are legendary in off-roading groups for being reliable and extremely agile due to their short wheelbase. Given their track record in some pretty inhospitable places, well, its easy to see why these are growing tremendously in market value. However, all those wonderful features also make finding a nice one challenging, since so many of these trucks have been bashed, abused, and just plain used up in the years before they were on the collectors A-list. Fortunately, this one is extremely clean with an awesome safari Tan paint job that looks bound for the wilderness. Youll find the interior is far more civilized than youd expect for a world traveler like this, with comfortable high-back bucket and bench combo seats. A single folding bench seat in the back expand passenger capacity and with durable non-slip rubber mat on the floor, you can get dirty without worrying about cleaning carpets when you get home. The vinyl doors have been equipped to make for easy in and out when off-roading, but this Land Cruiser does come with its original tan steel doors as well. Toyotas 3878 cubic centimeter, Inline-6 motor powered Land Cruisers for decades and provides the torque necessary for off road excitement; its proven itself time and again when conditions were less than nice. Around town, its smooth and torquey and the gear ratios are exactly right to make it feel quick and agile. The engine bay is really clean and its nice to see the factory equipment is intact. Backed by a 3-speed manual transmission and sitting on Mud Terrain tires, this Land Cruiser for sale is sure please the traveler in all of us! Other options on this Toyota Land Cruiser include AM/FM radio w/ cassette, spare tire, seat belts, kill switch, and radial tires w/ aluminum wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas/Ft.Worth is proud to offer this essential to any collection, BMW Isetta 300 available in our Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom. First developed by Renzo Rivoltas highly successful Iso S.p.A in Italy and license-built in several countries, the Isetta, Italian for little Iso, was primarily intended to provide economical and practical transportation for the masses. However, it also enjoys a largely unheralded racing heritage, gained in 1954 when a trio of Iso works Isettas swept the podium in the economy class at the storied Mille Miglia. While small in size, the Isettas influence was large, helping save BMW from being taken over by Mercedes Benz, its much larger rival, during the late 1950s. Finished in red, this rare BMW Isetta is an improved sliding-window, 298 cc variant from 1958 equipped with a delightful canvas sunroof and complimented by nice brightwork and period-style whitewall tires from Coker. It was acquired by the consignor in 2009 after a prior unsuccessful attempt to purchase it from the then owner, Bill Klageman of Michigan, who restored it thoroughly from 1996-2002. Under the consignors care, this Isetta has seen only limited local driving, and has never been shown, allowing its new owner the pleasure of returning it to the public eye. It has been serviced as needed, including a cleaning of the carburetor. Many copies of restoration-related correspondence, as well as parts and service orders accompany the sale of this small but mighty BMW. The perfect choice for the collector who appreciates the fine art of micro-engineering. This Isetta 300 is for sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 817-310-9400 or email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this 1995 Dodge Viper RT/10. The first prototype was tested in January 1989. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500. The Snake went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The centerpiece of the car was its engine. The Lamborghini Company, then owned by Chrysler Corporation, designed the V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and heads in an aluminum alloy, and was based on the Chrysler LA V8 engine. The engine of this black and yellow beast weighs roughly 711 lbs. and produces about 400 bhp at 4600 rpm and 465 lb·ft at 3600 rpm, and thanks to the long-gearing allowed by the engine the car has some fuel economy. The body is a tubular steel frame with resin transfer molding (RTM) fiberglass panels. The Viper lacks modern driver aids such as traction control and anti-lock brakes on purpose to give you the feel in the seat of your pants. It completes a quarter mile in 12.6 seconds and has a maximum speed of over 150 mph. Its large tires allow the car to average close to one lateral g in corners, placing it among the elite cars of its day. The car is made for driving and features inflatable lumbar support and adjustable seats. Along with the absence of exterior door handles, however it does come with the side windows and attachable roof. The battery is in the sealed compartment over the rear wheels to increase rear-end weight and traction. Options include AM/FM cassette radio, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, anti-theft system, leather seats, allow wheels. This T sits on Weld Racing Rodlite wheels with some big fat bias-ply Mickey Thompsons on the back, and smaller Nexen radials up front. Disc brakes adorn all for corners, and coil over shocks are in the rear to provide as nice a ride as possible for this T-Bucket. Description:

This 1999 Plymouth Prowler is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Prowler was produced from 1997 to 2002 and was based on the 1993 Concept car of the same namesake. Built off a design that the now legendary Chip Foose did while at the Art Center College of Design. The classic lines were an immediate show stopper but the open, Indy style front wheels are what really pulled people in. This example has only 11500 original miles verified by the clean CARFAX. The original owner had possession of the car until the end of 2011 and has since changed hands 3 more times with about 1000 miles put on it since then. With the cars being mainly for the collector it is not uncommon to see multiple owners. The purple paint is in excellent condition and was the original color of the first run of prowlers making it a terrific addition to any collection. The black leather interior is original to the car and is as comfortable as it looks. With the top up the car may look like it has absolutely no headroom but is quite spacious. However, this car should never be driven with the top up as it was intended to be a sunny day car. Pop the release and the soft top gets tucked away nicely out of the way giving the car a true roadster looks. With this car still retaining its factory bumpers, wheels, and paint it is sure to make any collector extremely happy. If you have been looking to get your hands on an unmolested example with low miles and a clean vehicle history report this purple beauty has all those quality’s and many more. Options on this 2001 Plymouth Prowler include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Windows, Power Locks, Manual Top, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires. To view this 1999 Plymouth Prowler in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Louisville showroom at 812 294 1555 or e-mail us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com.
