Description:

1967 MERCEDES-BENZ 230SL for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this sporty 1967 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Roadster. Featured in Burgundy with matching Burgundy hardtop, Tan interior and Tan soft top, this is one of the nicest driving Pagoda Mercedes that we have had the opportunity to offer. The 230SL was the first of the R113 series that became known as Pagodas because of the dip in the height of the hardtop between two prominent ridges. This car comes to us from 24 years in the hands of one owner. The car was repainted in Burgundy (from the original White). The interior is original. The engine was rebuilt about 9 years ago, the automatic transmission about 3 years ago. The rear end was re-sealed at the same time. The car has been fitted with an aftermarket Nardi wood-rim steering wheel and a Sony AM/FM/CD radio. It is otherwise stock. The car has great eye-appeal as you can see in our photos. I would characterize it as a very nice driver, perhaps a solid #3 condition. It has no needs and will deliver lots of miles of driving pleasure. These R113 models are known for their mechanical and structural integrity. The style is iconic. This is a perfect entry-level Mercedes collectible or reliable addition to a summer home fleet.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a true supercar; a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. Chevrolet really knocked the cover off of it with the C6 ZR1. They took the already good C6 Corvette and cranked it up to 11 so that it could compete with supercars 3 times its price. The transformation begins with the incredible LS9 engine under the hood. This engine makes the ZR1 the first factory supercharged Corvette and also the most powerful at the time of its introduction. Six Hundred and Thirty Eight horsepower; yes, 638 horsepower is the output on this bad boy. Couple this kind of power with a car that weighs less than 3,400 pounds and clearly were talking about a performance beast. This particular example is a stunning black on black car with only 12,007 miles on the odometer. The black looks great contrasting with the exposed carbon fiber on the roof, side skirts, and front splitter. The light weight and high horsepower is incredible, but so is the handling. The car sits on massive ZR1 specific wheels with incredible tires including 335mm wide rears. The brakes are massive carbon ceramic discs with Brembo calipers. Some of the same braking technology is used on the Ferrari Enzo; examples of which are currently on the market in the multi-million dollar range. The performance for the money was staggering when these cars were new, and it is even more amazing now. For the Corvette enthusiast, or just the driving enthusiast, this car is a must. You can see this 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This 440-6 4 speed car benefits from a recent frame off restoration and looks fantastic. The restoration was very detailed and focused on correctness. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of restoration and have covered a modest 500 miles. Enough for proper break in, yet still very fresh. The engine is a warranty replacement from many years ago and the car is equipped with a correct Dana 60 rear end, appropriate for a 6 pack car equipped with a 4 speed. Options are slim but let’s face it, it’s a high performance muscle car... who cares about options. Big block power and a four speed, yes and yes! The three 2 barrel carbs are dialed in nicely. The colors for this rare Mopar are original and perfect for nostalgia. Who else is tired of every car being repainted red? We must save the rare colors from the good days. Burnt Orange Metallic with a white Super Bee stripe over a Sunfire Orange vinyl interior and a set of body colored steel wheels wrapped in redline radials make this car stand out. Whoever specd out this car knew exactly what they were doing. Inside are bucket seats, a full array of gauges and a pistol grip shifter. With 390 horsepower and 490 lbs./ft. torque, this 1970 Super Bee is ready to go! For sale is a 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible located in our Indianapolis showroom. This ’64 Pontiac GTO is powered by a 389 Cubic inch tri-power V8 engine backed by a 4 Speed manual transmission. Options on this 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible include: AM Radio, Convertible Top (Auto), Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires. In 1964 Pontiac made available the GTO package to their Tempest model. The 1964 GTO was the only year where the dual headlamps were side by side. It was changed into the popular stacked headlights in 1965. Pontiac marketed the GTO as, ”Not everyone’s cup of Tea.” It was not made for the masses as it was intended to be, “A piece of performance machinery.” It most certainly is. This GTO package has the optional 389 cubic inch V8 engine with the tri-power. The 3 carburetors 2-barrel system gave this GTO an additional 23 horsepower over the standard single carburetor 4-barrel. The GTO suspension came with heavy duty springs, shocks and a stabilizer bar making spirted drives possible. This 1964 Pontiac GTO convertible has been registered and documentation from the Pontiac Historical Services. It comes with the build sheet and option codes. This GTO was a frame off restoration and brought back to its original glory. The GTO comes with a 4-speed manual transmission outfitted with a Hurst Shifter. Description:

For sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1939 Ford Roadster street rod. Covered in an unmistakably flamboyant metallic green, this baby really stands out from the crowd! Featuring a detachable chopped hard top, this is one unmistakable hot rod. a 400hp 350 CID V8 with under 4000 miles on it lurks under the hood, and its backed by a freshly-built TH350 3-speed automatic, which sends the power to the Ford 9 rear, with a custom 4-link setup handling getting the power to the ground. Coilover shocks are at all 4 corners, and its massive Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (225/35-ZR19 front, 295/30-ZR20 rear) wrapped around the Budnik billet wheels (19 front, 20 rear) all contribute to enabling this vintage hotrod to handle like a modern sports car. Power steering is there to help aid low-speed maneuverability, but its doubtful youll spend much time going slow! Dont worry if you get going too quickly because of the surge of adrenaline that will get to your right foot - your left foot can stab the slow pedal, and the multi-piston Wilwood brake calipers will grab the massive rotors (drilled/slotted up front, drilled out back) and haul you back to legal numbers in no time. Open the custom, shaved handle suicide doors, and the coolness continues...Inside, youll find a completely custom interior, with plenty of creature comforts. A fully-polished Colorado Custom tilt-adjustable steering column is topped by a billet steering wheel, and the dash sports a full set of AutoMeter ProComp gauges to both keep the driver informed of critical vehicle systems, as well as to further the high-performance street rod motif. If the driver (or more likely the passenger) ever tire of the V8s rumble, theres a custom dual-DIN Kenwood touch screen head unit, with AM/FM/CD and Bluetooth compatibility. Once you get past all of the goodies, slip into the custom high-grade synthetic seats, strap on your seatbelt, fire it up, and hit the road in one of the coolest street rods youll find. Options on this 1939 Ford Roadster include Aluminum Alloy Wheels, AM/FM/CD radio with Bluetooth, Performance Radial Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, and Synthetic Leather interior. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air. This drop dead gorgeous Bel Air is powered by a non-original 409 Big Block V8 and mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual. The real kicker is the original low mileage, 32,418 original miles and all original sheet metal! That makes for an easier restoration and this restoration is fantastic. With big block power, a four speed and impressive paint and body work; this is an easy crowd pleaser. The paint looks a few days old but is in fact 7 years old. That’s what happens when you cherish a car like this one. This is not an original 409 car but is powered by a date coded 409. The blue interior is an uncommon but very tasteful combo with the beautiful black paint. Finishing off the classic muscle car sleeper look is a set of black wheels with dog dish hubcaps. The heart of this car is the infamous 409 engine. During the restoration, the engine was bored .040 over, fitted with a Thumper camshaft and balanced. Oh, what a sound it makes! Inside youll find a factory tachometer, (rare) factory tilt steering column and radio delete. Other equipment includes a heavy-duty sway bar, power steering and 3.50:1 rear gears. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a very unique 1957 Chevrolet Nomad! The two door Nomad took a completely different approach to a station wagon than any other era. With its styling cues being basically that of a 2 door hardtop, the Nomad would enjoy the same success as the tri fives that it was based off of. Much like the 2 door hardtop models the Nomad is one of the coolest platforms to restore. This ‘57 has been built to enjoy and drive on a daily basis while taking it to high level car shows on the weekend. The body was taken off the original frame and taken down to bare metal before being placed on a powder coated frame. The Pastel Lavender paint is slick and looks great while keeping with that classic ‘57 look. Using an upgraded suspension the ride is sporty and can handle anything you throw at it. The rack and pinion steering is crisp and light feeling with the custom wheels adding to the look and handling. With front disc brakes bringing everything to halt in a hurry, it gives you just enough confidence to drive this Nomad like a Camaro. Under the hood is all business with a Chevrolet Crate 502cid filling up the engine bay perfectly. The menacing exhaust note lets everyone know that there is no small block under that hood. Keeping everything at the right temp is an all-aluminum Be Cool Radiator that looks as good as it works. The Turbo-400 transmission routes the power to the rear end which has a set of 3.08’s in it making this a well suited highway hauler. The interior is a mix of classic and new with the painted dash filled with a set of custom digital gauges look great while being super functional. The Tweed bucket seats with the matching door panels tying it all together. Of course, the power windows are always nice especially when it gets a little too hot and the AC needs to be kicked on. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad include AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this rare 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible. The Marti Report certifies this Torino as 1 of only 13 with M Code 351, C-6 transmission, and Color/Trim Options. This Super rare Torino GT Convertible with highly desirable options is freshly and fully restored. Ford only produced 1,613 Torino GT Convertibles in 1971. ***Marti Report states 1 of 13 with specific paint and trim Options. *** 1 of 262 with the High Compression 351 M-code Cleveland engine and 4V closed chambered heads. *** 1 of 164 with factory white paint #1619-A. Originally an extremely rare factory triple white car, that has been restored to factory white with new black top and interior. *** 1 of only 30 cars ordered from 43 Milwaukee DSO. *** Rarer still, Factory installed Select-Shift C-6 Automatic transmission. Heavy-duty trans almost never seen with 351’s. *** Factory 9” Posi-Rear optional 3.25 gear ratio. *** Factory Bucket Seats with Center Console *** Hideaway Headlights *** Power Steering, *** Power Front Disc Brakes *** Heavy-Duty Battery Prior to a fresh restoration, this was a complete running well-kept car. Just completed extensive two-year, no expense spared highly detailed professional restoration to stock factory condition, with the addition of some very popular chrome engine and bolt on aftermarket parts for modern drivability, reliability, higher performance, enhanced driver comfort, and show car appeal. This GT performs much better than the day it left the factory, without permanently effecting originality. Can be return to 100% stock in a weekend. During the meticulous restoration everything, including the entire drive train, was disassembled and properly restored, show quality re-chromed, and professionally polished to factory condition. Current odometer reading approx. 36,000. Documentation shows this was only driven 3,000 miles in last 12 years. This Torino has only been driven few test miles since complete engine and transmission rebuild to ensure all is fresh and working perfectly. Best suited for a serious collector wanting a great investment that is sure to increase. Dependable enough to drive daily, or gently as a weekend warrior. The 351 Cleveland is generally considered a high-performance engine. However, the truth is 92% of North American 351C engines were basic, 2V, low-compression, medium horsepower engines. Only 8% of all Ford cars came equipped with this high-performance M- Code 351 Cleveland engine with 4V carbureted configuration. (NADA adds 25% price premium for this option.) This GT being offered for sale possesses the correct factory block with casting DOAE-L and casting date “1D21”. This is the real deal conservatively rated from the factory with 285 HP. However, it is now completely rebuilt using high performance internal components, by renowned Ford engine builder. This torque monster is now rated over 425 HP and designed to run modern unleaded fuel. It always starts, idles, and runs well with amazing bravado. ***Correct factory heads identified by 4* casting and eight bolt valve covers. These closed chamber (quench) style cylinder heads w large exhaust valves give very high flow capacity and are the real trick to the engines performance. With 10.7:1 high compression and monstrous free breathing ports, 61.3-64.3 cc combustion chambers, 2.198 intake valves and 1.715 exhaust valves. An article in Super Stock and Drag Illustrated tested a Torino equipped with the 370 HP 429 CJ, C-6 automatic, stated this car would really respond to a good ignition system, a better intake manifold, a larger carburetor and a set of headers. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this awesome and documented 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. Along with this gorgeous Carousel Red paint and Black Vinyl interior, this is the way Pontiac intended The Judge to be introduced. The first 2,000 Pontiac GTO Judges were usually optioned with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission Gearbox, Saf-T-Trak HD rear end, hood tach, rally gauges and power disc brakes. This is one of the first 2000 produced, making it a pattern car. Originally, this Judge was sold to Kottwitz Motor Co in Great Bend, Kansas and managed to find its way back to the Motor City capital of the world. The Judge was shipped out to the dealership on 02/21/1969 and carried a MSRP of $3,461.74. The Judge retains an original, period correct Pontiac 400CID Ram Air III car that was originally paired to an Automatic Transmission. This Judge is sitting on its original style rally wheels wrapped in poly-glas tires to give it its original 1969 appeal. The black interior is in amazing shape and this Judge is one you can actually put on the road and take to shows at the same time. With the demise of the Pontiac Motor Division, these GTOs are in high demand. Their values have always been premium on the market, especially considering the GTO is one of the original Muscle Cars that started the whole craze. This GTO will be the envy of your gated community and and makes you feel like youre looking straight into 1969. Description:

Turn every head while you cruise in this rare 1961 Pontiac Ventura this Summer! The 1961 full-sized Pontiacs were completely restyled including an all-new “Torque-Box” perimeter frame that replaced the “X” frame chassis used since 1958. The distinctive split grille, first seen in 1959 and dropped in 1960, was reintroduced. Roof lines were somewhat squared off and the new body was slightly smaller and lighter in 1961. All engines were 389 cubic inch V8 plants, but there were new option codes available to performance enthusiasts. Our beautiful 1961 Pontiac Venture Sports Coupe came equipped from the factory with a very special 363 hp version sought out by serious drag racers. The 61’s never came from the assembly line with a plant larger than the 389, but a new, hand assembled, 421 cubic inch Tri-power beast was made available as a dealer installed option late in the season. This rare Ventura was the happy recipient of one of these factory replacements built on May 1, 1961, replacing the original 389. The performance features ordered did not stop with the engine and include a 4-speed manual transmission and performance axle package, “Saf-T-Track” 3.90 differential and dual exhaust. The exterior is bathed in the original Coronado Red with a stylish red/white vinyl interior that includes split front bench sheets. This well-documented fast ride underwent a complete frame-off restoration in 2012 and is ready to show. This beautiful Ventura Sports Coupe is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Atlanta showroom is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. This beautiful coupe has a timeless color combination of Red over Black complimented with red line tires! Power comes from a numbers matching 300 horsepower 327 and is backed up by replacement 2 speed automatic transmission. The consignor states the previous owner rebuilt the engine, which has 1,055-miles currently, removed the 4-speed manual transmission, adding the automatic, as well as aftermarket a/c. This was all done in the interest of his wife, so she would enjoy her Vette! Equipment is plentiful and includes leather seats, power steering, power disc brakes, A/C, power windows, AM/FM radio, and CD player. Mileage on the odometer was apparently turned back to zero during rebuild and is showing 1,055. We have marked the mileage as unknown due to lack of documentation. This is an older restoration that still shows very well and would be a great cruiser as is or an easy one to take to the next level and attend some NCRS meets for some judging. The 1967 Corvette is one of the greats as it is the last year of the mid year Corvettes and the last of the original Sting Ray. The mid year Corvettes went through a lot of transformations from 1963 to 1967 including a multitude of engines, the introduction of disc brakes and the big block in 1965, mild aesthetic changes with hoods and louvers and some colors specific to certain years. Some say that 1967 was the best and usually is when considered the last year of any generation as all tweaks for improvement have been made and refined. For more information on this eye catching 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, call 678-894-4833 or stop by our Atlanta showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is out of the ordinary 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS. We have seen them all here, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Shelbys, AMGs but this 2015 Camaro is something we havent seen here yet. This Camaro tops them all. The car looks pretty much stock besides the 20 Cragar wheels -- from the outside and you would never imagine what kind of beast this Camaro is. Under the hood you will find a 418ci stroker Texas Speed Block that is build up to leave the competition behind you. In combination with the Edelbrock supercharger and many more upgrades the Chevy comes with around 900 horses. With stainless American Racing Headers this rocket sounds like a V8 symphony written by Beethoven and Mozart. A Masterpiece on four wheels. The list of upgrades would be too long to list here. There were no costs spared on this one. The invoices of all improvements are about $85k and this is without calculation a new 2015 Camaro SS in it. The Chevy has less than 3800 miles on the clock. Super clean in and out. The interior comes with factory Recaro seats. They are comfortable and give you the necessary stability to control the car when riding down the road. Step on the gas pedal and your body will be pressed into the seats. Goose pumps are included in the sale. This Camaro is a weapon. Freaking fast and fantastic to drive. If you are looking for something that comes with a surprise, here you go. This is the car you want. A must drive and see.
