Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta proudly presents a Tribute 1967 Ford Eleanor Mustang. This Mustang pays tribute to the extreme, backed by the Rousch-Yates engine rated at 900-hp down-tuned to 750-hp, backed with the dyno sheet. To say this car is an excellent performer, may be an under statement. The owner states he had this car built for road racing, and decided against taking her further into the abyss cost wise. Under the gray paint and black interior, this Eleanor rides great and has Brembo disc brakes at all four corners. The 358 cu in. engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that sends the power to a rock-solid Ford 9-inch rear end with 3:58 gears. With Disc brakes at all four corners, this stallion can be slowed down from those excessive speeds that this car is capable of. Inside the interior is all business. Keeping the car enjoyable while driving is an AM/FM radio with a CD player to listen to your favorite tunes. Options for this 1967 Ford Eleanor Mustang includes; A/C, AM/FM Radio with CD Player , Power Steering, Seat Belts, along with PSE Engineering [who produced the wheels for the Eleanor] custom made the aluminum wheels with 17 inch performance radial tires. Dont miss out on this Movie Icon, this 1967 Ford Eleanor Mustang can be seen including 100+ HD pictures and video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

1947 MG TC for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this delightful 1947 MGTC in burgundy with black interior. This is another very special British roadster from the estate of Arthur Lang, the other car in the collection being the 1961 Morgan Plus 4 in our current inventory. This car was given the name Winston at some point in its history as evidenced by the plaque affixed to the cowl. The MG was acquired by Arthur in 1989. The car comes with a thick history file including the paperwork from when the car arrived in the US in the early 70s, and lots of receipts and records of events Arthur participated in with the car. TC/3524 is a September 1947 Home Market TC that was first registered in England, and then in Italy. It is said to have been raced in Europe and we are told that the BARC and Luxemburg badges are original. In notes based on oral history passed from prior owners it is said that Winston participated in races, rallies and hill climbs. It is fitted with Brooklands Aero Screens in addition to the fold-down windshield. There are records of rebuilds done to both mechanical and cosmetic components. When Arthur acquired the car it was still in fresh racing tune and trim. Arthur has the car detuned to make it more suitable for year-round road use. It was recently serviced by a respected expert and while Winston retains the patina of more than 70 years of being thoroughly enjoyed, the TC is in top operating order. Arthur was not afraid to use his cars in all kinds of weather and for all kinds of motor sports. Winston was his favorite for rallying. In a short essay about the Legend of Winston, Ruth writes, No matter how hard Arthur drove his cars, he always pampered them once they were back in our garage. Everyday, washing and drying them after taking them out for a run. Constantly maintaining all the mechanical parts on an everyday basis. History is written all over this car and it needs only a new keeper to begin Winstons next chapter.

own a piece of history. This Impala was repainted about 10 years ago in this stunning red. Originally painted in Willow Green we can all appreciate the great color change. With the black vinyl interior it is definitely a winning combination. Under the hood lies the original 327 Turbo Fire V8 engine paired to the original Powerglide transmission. The odometer currently reads only 6,930 miles but it is believed to have just rolled over for the first time resulting in a total of only 106,930 miles on the engine. The engine still has the orange paint Chevy is famous for using on their engine blocks. The music of the engine is emitted through two chrome tipped exhausts coming out the rear. The car sits on 5 spoke Chrome Ridlers rims with 18-inches up front and 20s in the rear to give the car an aggressive and stylish look. This particular Impala has no B pillars resulting in very clean body line and a whole lot of window space. Inside the clean black vinyl interior with Bucket seats and center console. The dash has remained the same with only a new aftermarket Dual radio player being added. There is also an added Sun Super Tach II RPM gauge to help the driver make sure the mechanics are working as they should. Hop inside this sweet classic turn on the cold A/C and roll in style with this gorgeous 66 Impala. Options Include; A/C, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Spare Tire & Jack, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and more! Description:

This 1923 Ford T-Bucket is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The T bucket was made out of necessity with the supply of Model Ts dwindling hot rodders had to do something. In 1957 their call was answered by Diablo Speed shop in Northern California. With only 3 built before closing the doors one was purchased by hotrod builder Buzz Pitzen. He completed the build and credited for the first fiberglass T bucket. This example has that classic look while the attention detail really sitting this build apart. The red paint is vibrant and slick with no pinstriping it can be left alone or used an open canvas, so your guy can do his thing. The frame was painted in the same red making the transition from the 2 almost seamless. The classic chromed front end came from speedway one of the most well-known brands in the business. The engine is a small block 350 with the tunnel ram which has a set of dual quads feeding this monster the fuel it needs. The B&M TH350 transmission easily handles the power from that small block shifting through the gears with no hesitation. Power is put to the ground courtesy of a Ford 9 inch turning those monster 33x22 tires that have been mounted on a 15 in. wheel giving it that true Hotrod look. The 4 link helps to keep the back wheels on the ground while giving this 23 T bucket a rather plush ride. If you have been wanting a T bucket that is fun to drive while having that classic look this is the bucket for you. Options on this 1923 Ford T bucket include Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, and a set of Racing Wheels with Radial Tires. Description:

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this elegant 1961 Ford Galaxie-Sunliner! The 1961 Galaxie was reskinned from the glass house down and lost the distinct look of the 1960 cars. ’61s had mini-fins and signature round Ford taillights. Ford also outsold rival Chevy in ’61; perhaps offering up to 401hp from the factory helped, as people started to once again think in terms of “performance.” The new FE 390 engine was just the ticket. That’s exactly what this one comes with, a 6.4 L – FE 390 and 3-speed on the column. In order for it to be a Sunliner, you must be able to feel the sun and that can easily be done with a flick of switch and power-top option. Another great attribute to these vehicles is just the overall space! Whether trying to take your significant other out for a night on the town or the entire family down to your local burger and malt shop, this vehicle is well suited for either. Careful with the malts& shakes though, as you wouldn’t want to damage any of the beautiful red and white candy cane interior, which is in very good shape throughout. Plenty of eye candy on this sweet ride, but some of my favorite parts without question is the iconic round Ford taillights. To me, they look like “rocket boosters” waiting to ignite and light up the road. If you’re ready to light up the road and have a few necks break as you drive by, then give us a call. To view the 1961 Ford Galaxie-Sunliner in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This super cool 1939 Ford Coupe is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The Hot Rodding culture explodes after WWII ended. Serviceman returned home and factories which supported the war effort were resuming their normal activities. Older vehicles that survived were now being refurbished into something that reflected more of the Individual’s personality. In some cases, it consisted of a wild pant job, sometimes an upgrade to the interior, maybe the body was altered with a chopped top or a hot new engine replaced the factory original in order to gain more performance. In many cases, all these things happened for a truly one of a kind vehicle. This ’39 Ford Coupe fits this description well. With a Chopped top, a lowered stance, chrome bumpers removed and flush mounted door handles, this old hot now has a much sleeker look. The body has been painted in a deep gloss black that accents the curves of this beautiful body. Pin Striping has been kept to a minimum, but check out the trim molding. Yup, it’s a painted graphic, and it looks pretty neat. The interior was redone in leather a while back, giving the inside a nice cozy feel when driving or riding along for Cruise Night. The ’39 Coupe has AC (some service will be needed), so cruising on a Hot Summer night you can keep cool, while looking cool. Many times when the engine is replaced with a more modern powerful unit, the brand is changed due to cost and availability of speed parts. Typically old Ford Hot Rods tend to have Chevrolet engines for this very reason. If you are a true Die Hard Blue Oval fan, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised a 351W Ford V8 under the hood. With only 2186 miles on this ’39 Ford’s current configuration, there will be plenty of memories to still be made. Options for this 1939 Ford Coupe include; Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel and Steel Wheels with Hub Caps wrapped in radial tires. This 1939 Ford Coupe can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Description:

This awesome 1968 Ford Mustang is available at our Louisville KY showroom. The Terlingua Racing Team was named after a small community in Texas that Carrol Shelby and some close friends bought so they would have a place to go and blow off steam. Eventually Neale would draw up a logo that was placed on Shelby’s first ever GT350r right before its first race. As history has it that car would go on to win that first race and the emblem found its own place in the record books. This example is a great replica of what you would have seen racing in the SCCA Tran Am series of the day. The yellow paint is probably nicer than any of those race cars as it calls out for your attention. The stickers on the car are all classic 60’s and even has Shelby listed as social director which he actually was in Terlingua. Under the hood is a very healthy 302 that has a ton of power with a great exhaust note. Hit the button for the remote cutouts and that sweet exhaust note becomes a nasty growl. The C4 transmission handles the power nicely transferring to the 8 inch rear-end. Open the doors and a black vinyl interior is very inviting. The bucket seats are comfortable while giving you that old school feel. You will see something that never came in the original race cars and that is AC. Yes, you get the look and feel of an old school SCCA race car with the comfort of AC does it really get any better than that. If you have been wanting to get into a car that has the nostalgia racer look with some modern comfort thrown in this is the Pony for you. Options on this 1968 Ford Mustang include, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. Description:

In the last 28 years and only 7,000 miles, this gorgeous ZR1 is almost exactly the way it rolled off of the showroom floor! Boasting 375HP from the factory when the valet key is switched to full, the ZR1 proved to be a whole different animal than your run of the mill C4 Corvette. Other defining features exclusive to the ZR1 includes a wider stance with 11” wheels tucked into the wheel wells, squared off taillights, better brakes, better steering, and one of the most important is the LT5 sitting under the hood. In a partnership with Lotus, Chevrolet was able to produce this power house of an engine. This all aluminum engine featured 32 valve DOHC heads and was built and assembled by Mercury marine. 1990 was the first year of the C4 ZR1 and to purchase one of these from the factory was nearly double what it would have cost you to get a normal Corvette. This 1990 Corvette ZR1 specifically is well documented and is very much original. The only work known to be done has been putting in new injectors and swapping out the factory tires for a set that could handle the speed this car is capable of. It has been well kept over the years and is ready for a new home so if you are in the market for a piece of Corvette history and want something that is enjoyable to cruise, you need to seriously consider this one! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1990 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to have a 1979 Kellison Stallion. The Stallion styled after the AC Cobra was a manufactured car and is not considered a “kit car”. This example number 2 of only 117 was built for Lynda Carter. It was known as the Wonder Woman Car. It is the only Stallion built without side pipes. Legend has it that this was to protect her million-dollar legs. Jim Kellison, who worked at Shelby, designed these cars and they were sold through select Lincoln and Rolls Royce dealers. The Stallion was designed with three key features in mind: safety, dependability and performance. The chassis, which is the foundation of any automobile, reflects these considerations in every detail. The basic chassis design has drawn heavily on the lessons learned in automobile racing by Jim Kellison, which explains the triangulated tubular steel space frame with a monocoque backbone - something normally found only in competition cars where maximum strength and torsional rigidity are achieved with a minimum of weight. The heart of the chassis is the backbone, which consists of a tubular subframe that supports a foam and steel sandwich - two sheets of 20-gauge sheet steel separated by an inch of structural foam. The backbone also insulates the cockpit against the noise and heat of the engine compartment. The backbone and the main rails are the foundation for the rest of the space frame, which provides the Stallion with outstanding crash resistance. Both the front and rear ends have been designed to absorb and dissipate the energy of 30 mph collision. Side penetration resistance is no less impressive: 3 by 4 extensions of the main rails support a network of steel tubing along the side of the cockpit. Each door has an internal framework of steel tubing and steel plates, to which the door hinges and latch mechanism are attached. The chassis was designed around Ford suspension components throughout. This eliminates the durability and service problems long associated with exotic sports cars. The front suspension used in the Stallion was developed by Ford from the experience they gained at Le Mans, Sebring, and Daytona with the GT-40 racing program. The rear end was developed to meet the needs of Grand National stock car racing, and is ideal for high performance applications. While the technical foundation of the Stallion is the heart of the automobile, it is the cars styling that captures the eye. Although the Stallion resembles the AC Cobra, it is neither a copy or a replica. The original Stallion body was basically a full-scale sculpture, built by hand over the prototype chassis and it was from this prototype that the body mold was made. Fundamentally longer and wider than the original, the Stallion also differs in a host of other areas. As far as styling is concerned, the Stallion has the same relationship with the Cobra that the Cobra has with the AC Bristol; similar in appearance, but differing in all other aspects. In this respect, the Stallion follows the traditional pattern of the limited production sports car - each succeeding automobile evolved from the ones preceding, incorporating engineering advances as they occurred while retaining the basic design. The Stallion has drawn on 30 years of automotive racing and technological advances and integrated them into a totally new modern sports car with a body style that harkens back to the early sixties. The Stallion built by the Kellison firm for Ron Samuels and Lynda Carter is a unique, one-of-a-kind, hand-built automobile. To view this 1979 Kellison Stallion in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
