The body sides were smooth with one horizontal body crease running just below the beltline from front to back. The taillights were rectangular in shape and vertically situated in the rear panel above rear bumper. Reverse lights were now located in the middle of the taillights, and small side marker lights were located on the rear edge of the quarter panel. Description:

For sale in our Atlanta Showroom is a 1969 AMC AMX. The AMX is a two-seat GT-style sports car that was produced by American Motors Corporation from 1968 to 1970. The AMX was also classified as a muscle car, but differed from other American cars at the time because of its short wheelbase. The name AMX is actually an acronym for American Motors eXperimental, which was a code assigned to concept vehicles in the mid-sixties. The AMX was also the only American-built steel-bodied two-seater of its time, the first since the 1955-1957 Ford Thunderbird, and rivaled the only other two-seat American muscle car: the Chevrolet Corvette. With a short three-year production run, the AMX was discontinued in 1970, and was replaced by the Javelin from 71-74. This classic AMX makes quite the statement with the Metallic Blue covering the cool and vintage bodylines and the silver racing stripes that continue the muscle car look. Under the hood of this beautiful car is the date code correct 390 V8 that has been meticulously maintained with just over 10,000 miles on the rebuild and produces a loud rumble that will turn some heads every time the pedal hits the floor. The transmission is a 4-speed manual that shifts smooth throughout all gears. This AMX has had the same owner for 23 years and has been used as just a fair weather weekend cruiser since the rebuild in 1997. Options on the car include: AM Radio, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Seatbelts, and Cragar chrome wheels wrapped in radial tires. If you want a wild and powerful muscle car with unforgettable looks and plenty of ponies under the hood, the call today to put it in your garage! Located in our Atlanta Showroom, this 1969 AMX can be viewed in greater detail, including over 100 HD photos and an HD video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 678-894-4833 for more information.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1927 Ford Model T for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Up until around 1915 there were three sources for powering vehicles. Steam which was efficient quiet and powerful but very dangerous. Electricity which had the same qualities as steam but could barely go 5 miles before having to charge. Then there was the Gasoline motor. It was dirty, crude and hard to operate but a man named Henry Ford would change all of that. He liked the ever-evolving power you could get from a gasoline engine so when he decided to build the affordable car to the masses it was an easy decision to go with the gasoline motor. In 1914 his streamlined process known as the assembly line was used to produce the now legendary Model T. It would prove to be the automobile available to the masses. This 1927 Model T has a beefy 350 CI V8 motor under its spit butterfly style hood. The after-market wheels are a nice touch, and in great shape. The body of this model T is great condition with no major dents or signs of rust anywhere. The black and red paint looks nice and protects the metal body nicely. This one has not been chopped at all and some would call it a “Tall T. With most of these being cut up Tall Ts are definitely getting hard to find. If you are looking for a great car to run around town and go to car shows, then this is the Tall T for you. Options on this cool 1927 Model T include: Power Windows, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Custom Wheels with Radial Tires. To view This 1927 Model T in greater detail, including a HD video, visit gatewayclassiccars.com. For information please call 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This is a rare breed of fun to drive, and easy to drive. The fresh exterior and fresh motor have many years of service left to give the new owner. The exterior is finished in red-fire - a rich burgundy. Under the hood is a ZZ4 350 crate engine that growls through Hedman headers. The engine has a shy 3700 miles on it and is backed up by a 400 Turbo transmission. There is a nice sound and growl at low RPM, but if you lay your foot down the exhaust sings and will make anyone smile. All the key build pieces for the drivetrain are documented by a certified mechanic. The black vinyl interior shows little wear and is a perfect driver car, or grounds for a restoration. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to feature this rough and ready 1982 Jeep CJ7 for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This truck has quite the story (and financial investment) behind it. After being bought in a mostly original state in 2009 this off-roader was completely overhauled and features a 5.3l Vortec V8 engine plucked from a 2005 Chevy Silverado tied to a 5-speed manual transmission. The truck was repainted in an unmistakable bright orange color and features beige leather interior with period-correct gauges lining the dashboard, a Line-X coated floor and a Sony CD/MP3 player. Some of the other highlights on this build (which was professionally done) include an Eaton Detroit rear locking differential, a 4 lift kit, Mickey Thompson chrome wheels with 33 radial tires, an 8500lb power winch mounted on a stainless front bumper, a sport cage with padding kit and a locking aluminum storage box with jerry cans for water and gasoline. There are a lot of Jeeps out there and Ive certainly seen many come and go at Gateway Classic Cars. However, its hard to find one thats not only built right but will be a reliable and solid investment too. Give our helpful and knowledgeable sales staff a call for more information on this 1982 Jeep CJ7 or any of our other inventory for sale today! Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this 2004 Chevrolet SSR that has been kept in showroom condition and has only have 9,174 miles clocked since new! It is not your typical everyday SSR though, this pickup has been well optioned with all of the creature comforts you could want including; heated leather power seats, power mirrors, keyless entry, power windows, a retractable hard top and a premium stereo system. The options didnt stop in the interior though, this SSR features the much sleeker trim piece that wraps around the rear tailgate and ties the taillights into the trim piece. Up front a similar chrome accent was added along with the chrome Chevrolet emblem to better sell the retro look of the 40s and 50s trucks the designers were shooting for. The drive train of the SSR in 2004 was a 300 horsepower 5.3L V8 that was plenty of power to get this small pickup moving in a hurry. As you ride in this car you will notice the subtle similarities in design that were pulled from the past and integrated into this car including the steering wheel with silver trim that hints to the large and thin style of the old pickups. The wood strips in the trunk are a classy touch and is a reminder of the wood plank beds from back in the day. This SSR is one of the cleanest examples around and with less than 10,000 original miles is still like the day it rolled off the assembly line. If you are looking for a true collectors item that you can drive and enjoy this 2004 Chevrolet SSR is an excellent option for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2004 Chevrolet SSR in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
