Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This is a rare breed of fun to drive, and easy to drive. The fresh exterior and fresh motor have many years of service left to give the new owner. The exterior is finished in red-fire - a rich burgundy. Under the hood is a ZZ4 350 crate engine that growls through Hedman headers. The engine has a shy 3700 miles on it and is backed up by a 400 Turbo transmission. There is a nice sound and growl at low RPM, but if you lay your foot down the exhaust sings and will make anyone smile. All the key build pieces for the drivetrain are documented by a certified mechanic. The black vinyl interior shows little wear and is a perfect driver car, or grounds for a restoration. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to feature this rough and ready 1982 Jeep CJ7 for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This truck has quite the story (and financial investment) behind it. After being bought in a mostly original state in 2009 this off-roader was completely overhauled and features a 5.3l Vortec V8 engine plucked from a 2005 Chevy Silverado tied to a 5-speed manual transmission. The truck was repainted in an unmistakable bright orange color and features beige leather interior with period-correct gauges lining the dashboard, a Line-X coated floor and a Sony CD/MP3 player. Some of the other highlights on this build (which was professionally done) include an Eaton Detroit rear locking differential, a 4 lift kit, Mickey Thompson chrome wheels with 33 radial tires, an 8500lb power winch mounted on a stainless front bumper, a sport cage with padding kit and a locking aluminum storage box with jerry cans for water and gasoline. There are a lot of Jeeps out there and Ive certainly seen many come and go at Gateway Classic Cars. However, its hard to find one thats not only built right but will be a reliable and solid investment too. Give our helpful and knowledgeable sales staff a call for more information on this 1982 Jeep CJ7 or any of our other inventory for sale today! Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this 2004 Chevrolet SSR that has been kept in showroom condition and has only have 9,174 miles clocked since new! It is not your typical everyday SSR though, this pickup has been well optioned with all of the creature comforts you could want including; heated leather power seats, power mirrors, keyless entry, power windows, a retractable hard top and a premium stereo system. The options didnt stop in the interior though, this SSR features the much sleeker trim piece that wraps around the rear tailgate and ties the taillights into the trim piece. Up front a similar chrome accent was added along with the chrome Chevrolet emblem to better sell the retro look of the 40s and 50s trucks the designers were shooting for. The drive train of the SSR in 2004 was a 300 horsepower 5.3L V8 that was plenty of power to get this small pickup moving in a hurry. As you ride in this car you will notice the subtle similarities in design that were pulled from the past and integrated into this car including the steering wheel with silver trim that hints to the large and thin style of the old pickups. The wood strips in the trunk are a classy touch and is a reminder of the wood plank beds from back in the day. This SSR is one of the cleanest examples around and with less than 10,000 original miles is still like the day it rolled off the assembly line. If you are looking for a true collectors item that you can drive and enjoy this 2004 Chevrolet SSR is an excellent option for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2004 Chevrolet SSR in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1959 Plymouth Suburban! In the late 50’s, Station wagons were growing in popularity, but would never match sedans in volume. So, there were certain compromises made over the years, by all manufacturers. Ford was known to sell Mercury wagons on the shorter Ford wheelbase, particularly in the Comet and Meteor series, and Oldsmobile, Buick and Pontiac Bonneville full size wagons all shared Chevrolets 119 inch wheelbase for a time (unlike the sedans and coupes on their 123.5 inch wheelbase). Chrysler reversed this. Preferring to maintain the exclusive nature of the Town & Country, the company based all wagons on the larger bodies and smoother suspensions of the senior divisions. This made it difficult for Plymouth to compete in price with Ford and Chevrolet, but did allow them to claim the roomiest wagon in the low-priced field. It also meant the wagons used many parts shared with Chryslers, DeSotos and Dodges, but not other Plymouths. The unique name meant Plymouth dealers were limited in liability; when a mechanic found his new torsion bar was inches too short to fit, he had no one but himself to blame for requesting a Belvedere part instead of a Sport Suburban part. Suburbans for 1958 were quite similar to those sold in 57, but with detail changes like an under-bumper grille and a V in the grille centre. The P-L-Y-M-O-U-T-H lettering was gone again, replaced by a hood emblem. The rear vision mirror mounted on the dash top moved off-centre over toward the drivers side. The old L-head six was still available (though not for too much longer) and there were now three Dual Fury V8s; 225 bhp, 250 bhp (4bbl) and 290 bhp (8bbl), as well as a 350cid Golden Commando option. Although based on the same body, 1959 Plymouth Suburbans featured an egg-crate grille and side trim changes, while the front bumper lost its raised centre section and larger tail lamps set the 58s apart from the rear. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to list this Real 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS. The 138 Vin 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS is known to be one of the earliest muscle cars. This incredibly stunning muscle car features the specific standards that most people think of when they hear the words Muscle Car. It does not get any better than a deep Red paint job to offset the bright and shining chrome this Malibu SS front-end displays. The chrome reflects every aspect of the firm demeanor a Muscle Car is supposed to have. The Owner who restored this one bought it and stripped it down with a frame off disassembly, and back to how you see it today. The American Muscle theme carries from the exterior into the interior, showcasing black vinyl bucket seats. Housed underneath the original console is a rebuilt 4 Speed Manual mated to a hopped up 454 CID BBC engine. The 454 bolsters loads of torque that will still plant you in the seat when it is pedal to the metal time. It is not all about how fast you can go in this Super Sport Malibu, with a 4.11 gear ratio in the rear, you can hit stop light to stop light with ease. Do you want to be the envy of all onlookers? It does not matter if you are going to the grocery store or putzing around town, people will stop in their tracks, point and stare, and most of all you will get plenty of thumbs up. When riding in this well done restored Malibu SS, the SS should stand for Super Star, it is all eyes on you. The 65 Malibu SSs are sought after cars which makes this car a trustworthy investment piece. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 2007 Regency Edition Mustang! Ford introduced a re-designed 2005 model year Mustang at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, codenamed S-197, that was based on the new D2C platform. Developed under the direction of Chief Engineer Hau Thai-Tang, a veteran engineer for Fords IndyCar program under Mario Andretti, and exterior styling designer Sid Ramnarace, the fifth-generation Mustangs styling echoes the fastback Mustang models of the late-1960s. Fords senior vice president of design, J Mays, called it retro-futurism. The fifth-generation Mustang was manufactured at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. For the 2005 to 2010 production years, the base model was powered by a 210 hp, cast-iron block 4.0 L SOHC V6, while the GT used an aluminum block 4.6 L SOHC 3-valve Modular V8 with variable camshaft timing (VCT) that produced 300 hp (224 kW; 304 PS). Base models had a Tremec T5 5-speed manual transmission with Fords 5R55S 5-speed automatic being optional. Automatic GTs also featured this, but manual GTs had the Tremec TR-3650 5-speed. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present this 1966 Ford Bronco Half-Cab pickup for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 1966 was the first year of the Bronco, which of course became a legendary name as far as American off-road vehicles goes. The Bronco was a humble offering in its initial production years but every example came in 4-wheel-drive with locking hubs. This 1966 Bronco for sale comes in a two-tone red and white paintjob with black vinyl interior. The 170 CID Inline 6 derived from a Ford Falcon under the hood has recently been gone through with work including a new valve job, fuel pump and wiring. Every Bronco sold until 1973 came with a “3-on-the-tree column shift manual transmission. This stock engine and transmission combination really helps take you back in time when driving this truck to a much simpler era. It is also very easy to access and work on the motor due to the vast amount of space in the engine bay. This Bronco has just 44,000 actual miles on it according to the seller. It comes with a spare tire, hub caps, seat belts and brand new radial tires. This truck is ready to hop in and hit the backroads! These are such unique trucks and the opportunities are endless when it comes to what you could do with an original vehicle like this. Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call today at (623) 900-4884 for more information or alternatively send us an email at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com about this 1966 Ford Bronco Half-Cab pickup for sale. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beastly 1971 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by a tough LS-5 454 big block Chevrolet V8 engine factory rated at 365 horsepower, this fiberglass performance machine is a rocket. With the 4-speed manual transmission, you are always able to get yourself right in the sweet spot for making power. That LS-5 under the hood didnt stay at 365 horsepower, however. In 2007 this Corvette went through a full restoration, and that included a tear down of the big block to pump a bit more thump into it. It was bored .030 over and given a set of blueprinted oval port iron heads to maximize flow. True Corvette fans will note the strange color combination. One of todays most popular colors, black, was never optioned in the 71 model year. This vehicle was originally painted Ontario Orange with a Saddle interior. The restorer of the vehicle wanted to have a big block car with black paint and blue interior, but it didnt exist, so he made his own. During the restoration and entirely new fuel system, including gas tank and lines, were installed as well as a new ignition system and an overhaul on the A/C system. All that work totaled north of $60,000 in receipts, and it shows. This ‘Vette drives like a dream. Plenty of power, smooth road feel, and easy to drive. This completely restored Corvette is beauty and the beast. It would look just as good sitting in a showroom in an aggressive pose to been shown off to friends and family as it would ripping through downtown after sunset showing the younger crowd what muscle really means. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM, T-Tops, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires and Alloy Wheels. For more information on this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com.
