Description:

For sale in our Nashville Tennessee showroom is a smooth and sexy 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. New for 2005 was the C6 and it was a better Corvette in every way, shape, form and figure. From the performance to the fit and finish, this Corvette was able to take on its European counterparts head on and in many cases come out on top, for merely a fraction of the cost. This bright yellow 2006 Corvette for sale is powered by the factory 6.0 LS2 Chevy V8 engine, which puts out an impressive 400 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. With a powerplant so efficient, it was the largest and strongest small block ever offered in a Corvette, at that point in time. Say goodbye to the little euro sports cars at the stoplight with this pavement pounder! With the motor putting out the massive power a revised transmission was used, with a 6-speed automatic transmission. With both brains and brawn, this Corvette puts out a combined average fuel economy of almost 23 MPG and better depending on how much lead is in your shoe. Do not fear the power as this rocket ship is rolling on performance radials all the way around with 19in wheels in the rear and 18in wheels the front giving this machine radar avoiding look. Slide your hand behind the hidden door handle and the electronically operated release opens the door. Jump in the driver seat that is adorned with plush black leather and push the ignition button and youre off! Peering through the steering wheel is a full set of gauges and a driver information center that sells you anything from the temp to the miles to empty. Those gauges however will probably never get used when you notice the HUD or heads up display. This is the same technology that fighter pilots use except in this case, depending on your option, a hologram is displayed in your line of vision. The murdered out black convertible top makes for a nice touch, though its highly unlikely youll have it up, especially when cruising around in this particular drop top Corvette! Options on this 2006 Convertible Corvette include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Cruise, Power Brakes,Power Top, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, ABS, Tilt, Traction Control, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Driver Passenger & Side Airbags, Anti Theft System, Leather Interior and Performance Wheels wrapped in Wide Performance Radial Tires. Nows your chance to get into one beautiful and ready for driving. For more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/677/2006-Chevrolet-Corvette

Description:

While Ford historians are unsure as to where exactly the name originated from, most agree that the Montclair gets its namesake from the upper-class community of Montclair, New Jersey, and while it’s not a certainty, it certainly looks the part. It’s decked with a brilliant two-tone color scheme of white on blue, wide white wall tires, and doesn’t look anywhere near its age of sixty! Not all cars are created equal, and 1956 saw the addition of a new feature for Ford, the Lifeguard Program. Spurred by Robert McNamara, the program was a result Ford’s own crash testing and redesigned aspects of interior components to make vehicles safer in the event of a crash. Standard features included: safety “deep-center” steering wheel, safety “double-grip” door latches, and safety rearview mirror. While the public was initially responsive to the Lifeguard Program, even leading Henry Ford II to say, “McNamara is selling safety, but Chevrolet is selling cars,” 1956 saw the beginning of a shift in the American Automotive Industry. This Montclair is a piece of that very history. Its more than just a pretty face, it features a 302 V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission, as well as a lot of modern amenities to really set this cruiser apart. Some of the upgrades include: AM/FM Radio with a CD player, power steering, power disc brakes, accusteer rack and pinion steering, and an impressive vinyl interior. When you get behind the wheel, hear that engine purr and listen to the automatic transmission seamlessly shift gears, it’s obvious that this is more than just a car: it’s a symbol. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1956 Mercury Montclair in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Philadelphia Gateway Classic Cars welcomes a new Fairlane to the fold. This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with a 1965 427 C.I. Factory Crate Motor and 4 speed manual transmission is a BAD car. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Not in this case though. This Fairlane 500 is inspired by it’s racing cousin the THUNDERBOLT. The car was redone in 2006. The body was completely stripped and returned to what is believed to be the factory color. No panels needed to be replaced. It is done in a deep Maroon. Of course, the Thunderbolt teardrop hood scoop has been added. When you open the hood on this car you are overwhelmed by engine. The Thunderbolt style grille fed induction system makes it clear that this car is built to run. Large tube thunderbolt reproduction headers, MSD electronic ignition, high output starter and an aluminum water pump are some of the performance modifications done to this Fairlane. The rear is a 9 inch Ford unit with 3:50 gears. Inside the car is the stock interior in excellent condition. There is a 60’s style column tachometer and a tri gauge setup under the dash to monitor the vitals. The race car feel means no frills on this car it is radio delete and a bench with floor shifter. The look, the feel, the sound it is all there but the best is yet to come. Turn the key and be prepared to be impressed. This car SCREAMS. This 1964 Fairlane grinds the asphalt. There is no doubt that the 427 CI Big Block Ford is a force to be reckoned with. Smooth acceleration and firm shifts send the message that there is allot more left under the hood to be released when the time is right. Description:

Are you looking for 1400cc with a turbo?! This three-wheeled rocket will wrap a huge smile around your face every single time you jump in it. With dyno sheets to back it up, the high horsepower and high revving Kawaski engine will produce up to 220HP on only 7lbs of boost. The swing arm was extended further than your average T-Rex and a TOYO 335/30/18 drag radial sitting out back for maximum traction. The shifter in this car is the same as a motorcycle, and makes quick work of shifting between gears. Jump into this custom ride and buckle up using the Corbeau 4-point harness, turn the key and push the start button. The custom exhaust gives a low rumble and become a shout as you give a couple hits of the throttle. Once you drop it into gear and set off on your ride, the power and agility become very apparent. As the turbo spools and the RPM’s climb, you will be thrown back in your seat and will be on one of the craziest rides of your life! As you pick up speed the brakes become ever more important so the builder installed 4-piston Wilwood disc brakes up front and the rear is equipped with a ZX14 rear caliper and a Hayabusa rotor. Whatever this “thing” is you will not be disappointed with the amount of enjoyment you get out of it every time you take it out. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. The styling of the Esprit was improved dramatically as exemplified by our car with the Peter Stevens facelift, which softened the lines and made the car look more contemporary. Features on this car include; Smooth Running Lotus 2.2L 4 Cylinder Turbocharged Intercooled Engine Rated, 5 Speed Manual Transmission, Four Wheel Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power And Heated Remote Side View Mirrors, Removable Roof Panel, ''Glassback' Tailgate With Aerodynamic Rear Wing, AM/FM/CD Stereo System With Power Antenna, Lotus Seven Spoke Wheels. The Esprit is a thrill to drive and is still a great value compared to its contemporary German and Italian rivals.

Description:

1961 Morgan Plus 4 Four-Seater Tourer. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this brilliantly original 1961 Morgan Plus 4 Four-Seater Tourer featured in Ivory with dark red leather interior. The 1961 Plus 4 is powered by Triumphs 2.1L 4-cylinder engine rated at 100 HP, with a 4-speed manual gearbox. This car is the four seat model and was ordered with factory options of wire wheels, disc brakes, tonneau cover and heater. Look closely at the loving patina on this Morgan and consider its most fascinating story. Everything in this story is supported by a comprehensive history file which includes family photos and receipts going back to September 11, 1961, the date the car was purchased from Fergus Imported Cars in Manhattan, the importer at that time. The car comes to us from the family of its long-term owner, Arthur Lange, a true enthusiast who we lost a few years ago. The Morgan was a 25th birthday gift from Arthurs father, Arthur Sr., an aircraft engineer at Republic Aviation, here on Long Island. As an engineer, Arthur Sr. appreciated the unique qualities of the Morgan, and he specifically sought a tourer to carry his family of four. Arthur Jr. was only 13 at the time his father bought the Morgan, but developed an immediate bond with the car. His father taught him to drive it at 15, and he drove the Morgan all through college. Arthur met his future wife, Ruth, in college and the Morgan became part of their family when Arthurs dad gifted him the car for his 25th birthday. Arthur was an active member of numerous sports car clubs and the car was well known at events all over the Northeast. The Morgan was Arthurs primary transportation all-rear round and he could often be seen in Winter with a sheepskin-lined leather flying helmet to assist his handsome beard in keeping his head and face warm. Look closely at our studio photos and see how the car wears its patina proudly. But dont be fooled by its well-worn appearance. The history file includes receipts for two engine overhauls and countless other work over the years to maintain the car in peak operating condition. It starts on the button every time and drives as good as new. Request a link to our Dropbox folder with samples of the receipts, books, family photos and original documents that are all included, along with assorted spares. This Morgan represents an unusual opportunity to become the next keeper of this car and its 60-year story, and for you to cherish it as much as Arthur while you write the next chapter in its history.

Description:

1947 MG TC for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this delightful 1947 MGTC in burgundy with black interior. This is another very special British roadster from the estate of Arthur Lang, the other car in the collection being the 1961 Morgan Plus 4 in our current inventory. This car was given the name Winston at some point in its history as evidenced by the plaque affixed to the cowl. The MG was acquired by Arthur in 1989. The car comes with a thick history file including the paperwork from when the car arrived in the US in the early 70s, and lots of receipts and records of events Arthur participated in with the car. TC/3524 is a September 1947 Home Market TC that was first registered in England, and then in Italy. It is said to have been raced in Europe and we are told that the BARC and Luxemburg badges are original. In notes based on oral history passed from prior owners it is said that Winston participated in races, rallies and hill climbs. It is fitted with Brooklands Aero Screens in addition to the fold-down windshield. There are records of rebuilds done to both mechanical and cosmetic components. When Arthur acquired the car it was still in fresh racing tune and trim. Arthur has the car detuned to make it more suitable for year-round road use. It was recently serviced by a respected expert and while Winston retains the patina of more than 70 years of being thoroughly enjoyed, the TC is in top operating order. Arthur was not afraid to use his cars in all kinds of weather and for all kinds of motor sports. Winston was his favorite for rallying. In a short essay about the Legend of Winston, Ruth writes, No matter how hard Arthur drove his cars, he always pampered them once they were back in our garage. Everyday, washing and drying them after taking them out for a run. Constantly maintaining all the mechanical parts on an everyday basis. History is written all over this car and it needs only a new keeper to begin Winstons next chapter.

Description:

This is this amazing never rusted Arizona V8 Mustang convertible.

It is loaded with a 289 4bbl V8. C4 automatic transmission. Ice cold A/C. Power steering, disk brakes and dual exhaust. An aftermarket stereo with a cd changer was installed.

This car is unreal underneath still showing signs of the the red oxide primer, the drains still in place in the bottom of the quarter panels.

The paint is an honest 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. The top is brand new. The rest of the interior is 100% perfect. The engine compartment is a 10. The underside is detailed and perfect as is all of the chrome and stainless. Everything works as it should. It runs and drives like brand new. All of the fluids and tune up parts were just serviced. In needs nothing.

22 years ago the original owner of this car went to great lengths to make this car look like a 1964 1/2. Since he had a perfect all original car retaining all of its original metal he took all the components from a 1965 mustang including the gauge cluster, 1/4 panel bezels, , grill, and a few other components. He also rebuilt a complete 289 A code power train and installed it along with a disk brake conversion that fit under the original 14" wheels and wheel covers.

I have detailed pictures of the underside including all stamping and number codes on every component of the car.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this muscular 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 two door hardtop. Since restoration, this MoPar has only been driven 2000 miles. Enough mileage to work out all of the bugs. The body has been re-painted a blistering shade of yellow. When youre in this car, you better like attention! The all-black vinyl interior is all business; no lumbar, heated seats, or any of the other options found on todays cars. It has A/C and an AM/FM radio to keep the passengers cool and singing their favorite tunes while power brakes and power steering make this Coronet more civilized to drive. Accessory gauges and a tachometer help the driver keep an eye on the cars vitals at all times. The aluminum wheels give it the old school vibe everybodys looking for. Under the hood is where this Dodge really shines! A 383 has been bored .040 over and has a parts list that looks like it came straight out of a Summit racing catalog. Headers, aluminum intake, Street Demon carb, stout camshaft, double roller timing chain, and more really get this big block car down the road. A modified 727 automatic transmission transmits all of those ponies to the 8 3/4 rear axle with a posi-traction unit and 3.23 cogs. A great combination for quick acceleration but easy highway cruising. Underneath this 69 youll find all new suspension and steering components have been replaced, so that this Dodge rides and steers like its 1969 again. This car stops reliably every time because its got power front discs and 11 drums out back. it truly performs, runs, drives, steers, and stops like it did nearly 50 years ago. Its a really sweet ride from the boys at the Pentastar. Dont miss this one! Shes ready to go; all it needs is a new owner that will appreciate its classic lines and its performance potential. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this really cool 1969 Dodge Coronet 440, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
