Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this hard-to-find 1986 Land Rover Defender 110 (110 being the trucks wheelbase) in white with a very roomy and stylish black leather interior. This ones equipped for serious duty with a 4.0L V8 with a five-speed manual transmission, four-wheel drive, no creature comforts like AC or a radio, and plenty of ground clearance to make sure you can go anywhere you want to go. Land Rovers are very solid vehicles that they can stand up to most anything. What makes this Land Rover so unusual is that it was bought new in Europe and then sent to the US as a gray market vehicle. At the time it was imported, gray market cars were very popular in the US. Many vehicles that were exported to the US from Europe entered the country without all of the required safety and emissions equipment then seen on US-specific cars and trucks. This is one of those vehicles. Not that Land Rover makes an unsafe vehicle, it has many different specifications than similar US market vehicles making them unique and very appealing for people looking for an unusual ride. Looking at this Defender 110, it looks like something youd ride in if you were on an African Safari. Youll never see another one like it. This is the ultimate Bug-Out vehicle when you are just done with the Rat Race and want to get away into the big great outdoors! This truck is perfect for going on surf-ari. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautifully built 1949 Chevrolet Suburban resto-mod. This beauty has the best of both worlds, a slick classic look on the outside, with all new mechanicals underneath. This stunning 49 rides on custom suspension which utilizes a Monte Carlo front end with all new Upper and Lower A-arms, new bushings, new ball joints, new tie rod ends, and new shocks. It has disc brakes in all four corners with new rotors, calipers, and pads. The body itself was a nice rust free example which was media blasted, epoxy primered, and painted with base coat clear coat. It features a sharp two tone scheme with tan on the top, and peacock blue on the bottom. The power plant is a new GM crate 350 CID V8 which mates up to a rebuilt 700R4 Automatic Overdrive transmission. The overdrive makes long highway drives effortless, and is operated by a simple toggle switch. The 700R4 leads to a 79 Pontiac rear end with Posi-Traction and 3.08 final drive ratio. The interior is nicely laid out with 4 full sized bucket seats to comfortable fit 4 adults. What a great road trip or tailgate vehicle! With full options, this baby is easy to drive; power steering, power brakes, and cold Air Conditioning. For parking, it even has a back up camera which displays on the rearview mirror! Of course, a vehicle like this needs a bumping stereo, so the Suburban has 7 speakers and plenty of bump in the trunk. The time and attention to detail put into this build is incredible. If youre looking for a well built, reliable vehicle, this is a great choice. You can see this 1949 Chevrolet Suburban in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS. The 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS is known to be one of the earliest muscle cars. This incredibly stunning muscle car features the specific standards that most people think of when they hear the words “Muscle Car.” It does not get any better than a deep black paint job to offset the bright and shining chrome this Malibu SS front-end displays. The chrome reflects every aspect of the firm demeanor a “Muscle Car” is supposed to have. The American Muscle theme carries from the exterior into the interior, showcasing black vinyl bucket seats. Housed underneath the original console is an M-20 4-speed transmission mated to the original 327 cubic inch engine. The 327 motor shows the same casting numbers as the elusive L-79 highest horsepower option for the 1965 model. This 327 bolsters a powerful 300 horsepower that will still plant you in the seat when it is “pedal to the metal” time. It is not all about how fast you can go in this Super Sport Malibu, with a high gear ratio in the rear, you can cruise at a comfortable 60 miles per hour without your engine revving on the redline. Do you want to be the envy of all onlookers? It does not matter if you are going to the grocery store or putzing around town, people will stop in their tracks, point and stare, and most of all you will get plenty of thumbs up. When riding in this well done Malibu SS, the SS should stand for “Super Star,” it is all eyes on you. The 65 Malibu SS’s are sought after cars which makes this car a trustworthy investment piece. It is always great when you can love and enjoy a well-bought purchase that shows substantial potential to increase in value over time. Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is motoring manliness personified: the 1966 Shelby Cobra. This is a West Coast Inc. kit, formerly West Coast Cobras. This kit had one main focus: safety. Unlike most kit cars that use a ladder style frame, this kit utilizes a full road racing type frame. The benefits of this are twofold. First, this Cobra will keep you well protected from side impacts with a 4 side beam system giving strength to the side of the vehicle. Secondly, this strengthened chassis will give the vehicle much greater torsional rigidity. By reducing flex in the frame, the West Coast Cobra kit can use softer springs than most kits, improving ride quality greatly. The West Coast kit is also longer and wider than most kits. In addition to providing a larger wheelbase for better handling and large wheel and tire packages, this also allows for a more spacious cockpit. Riders over 6 feet tall still fit comfortably in this roadster. The wider size also extends the rear wheel wells giving this Cobra some very curvy hips. The spacious interior also features vintage racing style leather seats, an Alpine radio with AM/FM/USB/AUX inputs and Polk Audio speakers, and a heater. Adding to driving comfort and safety is power steering and power brakes. Bringing the power is a 514 CID V8, with 11:1 compression, 2 Holley 9776 carburetors, MSD ignition, and a 9 quart rear sump pan with a Mellings rear pickup pump. An aluminum radiator with 2 fans and a shroud keeps everything cool. A Richmond 5-Speed manual transfers power to a Ford 9” rear end with 3.70 gears. Originally built in 1991 in Wisconsin, the vehicle was partially rebuilt in 2010, including the new motor, and has accompanying receipts. This is a fantastic Cobra kit that was made to drive. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 2002 Dodge Viper GTS ACR. The Viper was Dodge’s way of telling the world “ we still know how to build a Race car, with blinkers” The thinking was, lets shoehorn an eight liter V10 engine that pumps out 460 Horsepower and 500pound feet of torque in to a 3450 pound body that was born in a wind tunnel. Then let’s give it every bit of handling we can muster. Making this a car that you could drive to work, then stop at the track and kick some butt before picking up the bread and milk on the way home. But please don’t think you are going to get a weeks’ worth of groceries in this ride, it is meant to haul, well, something other than groceries. Now this 2002 Viper for sale is even more radical as its current owner had the insane idea of adding a Paxton supercharger to the already volatile mix making this one wild ride. The sticker across the top of the windshield proclaims “750 horsepower “having driven it, I don’t doubt it. The original 2002 Viper GTS had a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a 0 to 100 time of 4.7, now imagine that supercharged! Hold on tight and slam the gas pedal, hold it down long enough and you just might prove Einstein theory of relativity. This Viper GTS ACR for sale is not just a stock car with a Paxton supercharger attached to it, oh no. This 2002 Viper for sale has a lot of extra goodies, the current owner tells us it has, Penskie ® adjustable coil over shocks, a short throw shifter, custom rims and the factory wing has been improved with a carbon fiber lip and this came off the 1997 FIA world champion car. 2002 was the end of the first generation of Vipers so Dodge did something special with the last 360 cars and made them GTS’s and just a few had the ACR performance package making this car 1 of only 360 ever made, #143 to be exact. To sum up, Born in a wind tunnel, handles like it is nailed to the road, very rare, lots of extra performance parts, and oh yeah don’t forget the Paxton supercharger. This car pulls hard through all the gears and is so sticky through the turns that I believe you could park this car on the ceiling of the garage.( slight exaggeration.) Options for this 2002 Viper GTS ACR for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM C/D player, Power, steering, brakes and windows, Tilt wheel, Leather interior, Racing wheel, G- suit not included. This 2002 Dodge Viper for sale in our Nashville showroom can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com if you would like to see this car in person we welcome you to stop in our Nashville showroom at 320 Tech park Dr. Suite 600 La Vergne Tn 37086

Description:

For Sale in our Nashville Showroom we are excited to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger. This car is a Star, no really, it’s a been in a Hollywood movie, a popular crime show, and a tire commercial. This 1970 Dodge Challenger was driven by Jack Nicholson in the 2007 movie, The Bucket List. This is not your run of the mill 1970 Dodge Challenger as its not an original car but a resto-mod created by famed muscle-car builder Ted Moser, who also built them for the Fast and Furious movie series. It’s powered by a late model 5.7-liter Hemi V8 backed by an automatic transmission. The whole package is brought to a halt by a set of Weldman disc brakes. After The Bucket List movie, the car appeared in a few TV roles, including on NCIS with Mark Harmon, and the 2010 movie, The Runaways. So, now you know where the cars been, but the best is yet to come. With less than 3000 miles on this build, the car has a ton of life left and is ready for someone to driver her. The late model power plant affords you plenty of power and creature comforts such as air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. Add to this the safety of radial tires and seat belts and this car is like driving a late model with the style of a 1970s. If you’re ready to star in your own bucket list adventure or for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/816/1970-Dodge-Challenger

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1971 Buick GS Tribute car. Powered by a small block 350 and TH350 transmission. You can’t go wrong with Black on your Buick and this one looks great. The good thing about tribute cars is that you can pick and choose different features to create an All Star car. This one has the rear spoiler from a GSX and a chin spoiler. You also have the Hood Mounted Tachometer. One of the coolest options ever. The Hood itself is the Twin Snorkel one that defined the breed. The color itself was personally selected replacing the original Willowmist Green with a deep Black finish. All the correct GS touches were included as well making it look very authentic. Up front there is a GS badge, the rocker panel trim has red stripes, and the front fenders advertise Stage 1. The Sandlewood interior compliments the Black very well. It is believed to be the cars original selection. Bucket seats and a console are always a pleasant surprise in a Buick that is supposed to be a luxury car. They look great and add some Muscle car appeal to this cool Buick. There is a horseshoe shifter, a three spoke wheel, and a trio of gauges. Note the shift indicator in the dash that works with the shifter. Of course, as a Buick this car is equipped with Air Conditioning, which is nice and cold. He trunk is finished with a reproduction mat and a vintage bias ply tire with jack assembly. Don’t dismiss this small block when it comes to performance. These torquey 350 delivers muscle car performance. The twin snorkel air cleaner and 4 barrel carburetor mean business. The AC has recently been upgraded to R134a. The car rolls on proper Buick Road wheels fitted with Big BF Goodrich radials. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer a very low mileage, all original, 1969 Jaguar XKE Coupe for sale in our Detroit Showroom. This 1969 Jaguar comes with all the documentation that you will need to ensure its collectability status. The Series II E-Type Jaguars had the most distinctive design cue changes. Other hallmarks of Series 2 cars are a wrap-around rear bumper, re-positioned and larger front indicators and tail lights below the bumpers, an enlarged mouth which aided cooling but detracted for the Series I design purity, twin electric fans, plastic rocker switches in place of the Series I toggle switches, and, of course most importantly, a material downgrading in performance resulting from a switch from the three SU carburetors used in Series I models to a mere two smogged Stromberg carbs, reducing horsepower from 265 to 246 and reducing torque from 283 to 263. The 6-cylinder twin overhead camshaft XK engine is paired to a dual-drive automatic transmission which will make cruising in this beauty a fun experience every time. Finished in classic and desirable Sable Brown with a beautiful Onyx interior, this Series II has been beautifully maintained and driven just 9,612 miles from new. It drives and performs incredibly well and comes fully documented with its Jaguar Heritage Certificate and owner’s manual. This exceptionally original car makes a wonderful appearance, although, upon close examination, it does show some patina in the original paint which only adds to the charm of this great motorcar. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this professionally built 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne L72 tribute car. This Chevrolet Biscayne L72 tribute has 71,710 miles on the odometer and is powered by a 427 cubic inch/425 horsepower engine driving through an M21 4- speed transmission and a 12 bolt 3.73 Positraction rear end. Complete with Redline tires, this 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne presented in blue with white top and blue interior is a terrific representation of a classic sleeper of the early muscle car era. By 1966, GMs intermediates, with near 400-cu in engines crammed between their fender wells, were rising in popularity faster than the hemlines of the day. The muscle car era had arrived. Race tracks across the country were serving as the proving grounds for myriad new high-performance powertrain combos from the Big Three. Though muscle cars were gaining momentum, full-size cars were far from washed up as racers. GTOs, Chevelle SSs, 4-4-2s and Gran Sports got bigger engines, but the full-size cars still got the biggest ones. Some denizens of the drag strip couldnt resist the lure of stuffing the largest displacement engine possible in the lightest body in which they could order it. So when Chevrolet pulled the wraps off of its new 427-cu in variation of the Mark IV big-block engine family, introduced just the year prior, Chevrolet racers certainly would have wanted to get their hands on one, particularly when it was announced that there would be a high-performance 425hp version, coded L72. Yet, the only way to get the solid-lifter L72 was to buy a Corvette or to select something from the full-size line. But while Chevrolet had made the high-performance 427 available across the full-size car line, the division didnt actually assemble a drag-strip-dedicated packaging of those elements the way some other manufacturers were doing at the time. So, it was up to racers to figure out that the hot setup was the base-model Biscayne two-door pillared sedan with the L72 engine checked off. A handful of savvy faithful did just that and were rewarded with a potent engine package wrapped in a large car that was both lighter and more rigid than an Impala hardtop. The 427 instantly transformed Chevys low-cost sedate sedan into a competitive drag racer. Though model-specific figures have not been found, a total of 1,856 L72 427s were installed across the big-car line in 66. To view this 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne L72 t-ribute car, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com.
