Description:

Philadelphia Gateway Classic Cars welcomes a new Fairlane to the fold. This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with a 1965 427 C.I. Factory Crate Motor and 4 speed manual transmission is a BAD car. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Not in this case though. This Fairlane 500 is inspired by it’s racing cousin the THUNDERBOLT. The car was redone in 2006. The body was completely stripped and returned to what is believed to be the factory color. No panels needed to be replaced. It is done in a deep Maroon. Of course, the Thunderbolt teardrop hood scoop has been added. When you open the hood on this car you are overwhelmed by engine. The Thunderbolt style grille fed induction system makes it clear that this car is built to run. Large tube thunderbolt reproduction headers, MSD electronic ignition, high output starter and an aluminum water pump are some of the performance modifications done to this Fairlane. The rear is a 9 inch Ford unit with 3:50 gears. Inside the car is the stock interior in excellent condition. There is a 60’s style column tachometer and a tri gauge setup under the dash to monitor the vitals. The race car feel means no frills on this car it is radio delete and a bench with floor shifter. The look, the feel, the sound it is all there but the best is yet to come. Turn the key and be prepared to be impressed. This car SCREAMS. This 1964 Fairlane grinds the asphalt. There is no doubt that the 427 CI Big Block Ford is a force to be reckoned with. Smooth acceleration and firm shifts send the message that there is allot more left under the hood to be released when the time is right. To view this 1964 Ford Fairlane. in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Are you looking for 1400cc with a turbo?! This three-wheeled rocket will wrap a huge smile around your face every single time you jump in it. With dyno sheets to back it up, the high horsepower and high revving Kawaski engine will produce up to 220HP on only 7lbs of boost. The swing arm was extended further than your average T-Rex and a TOYO 335/30/18 drag radial sitting out back for maximum traction. The shifter in this car is the same as a motorcycle, and makes quick work of shifting between gears. Jump into this custom ride and buckle up using the Corbeau 4-point harness, turn the key and push the start button. The custom exhaust gives a low rumble and become a shout as you give a couple hits of the throttle. Once you drop it into gear and set off on your ride, the power and agility become very apparent. As the turbo spools and the RPM’s climb, you will be thrown back in your seat and will be on one of the craziest rides of your life! As you pick up speed the brakes become ever more important so the builder installed 4-piston Wilwood disc brakes up front and the rear is equipped with a ZX14 rear caliper and a Hayabusa rotor. Whatever this “thing” is you will not be disappointed with the amount of enjoyment you get out of it every time you take it out. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. Description:

1961 Morgan Plus 4 Four-Seater Tourer. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this brilliantly original 1961 Morgan Plus 4 Four-Seater Tourer featured in Ivory with dark red leather interior. The 1961 Plus 4 is powered by Triumphs 2.1L 4-cylinder engine rated at 100 HP, with a 4-speed manual gearbox. This car is the four seat model and was ordered with factory options of wire wheels, disc brakes, tonneau cover and heater. Look closely at the loving patina on this Morgan and consider its most fascinating story. Everything in this story is supported by a comprehensive history file which includes family photos and receipts going back to September 11, 1961, the date the car was purchased from Fergus Imported Cars in Manhattan, the importer at that time. The car comes to us from the family of its long-term owner, Arthur Lange, a true enthusiast who we lost a few years ago. The Morgan was a 25th birthday gift from Arthurs father, Arthur Sr., an aircraft engineer at Republic Aviation, here on Long Island. As an engineer, Arthur Sr. appreciated the unique qualities of the Morgan, and he specifically sought a tourer to carry his family of four. Arthur Jr. was only 13 at the time his father bought the Morgan, but developed an immediate bond with the car. His father taught him to drive it at 15, and he drove the Morgan all through college. Arthur met his future wife, Ruth, in college and the Morgan became part of their family when Arthurs dad gifted him the car for his 25th birthday. Arthur was an active member of numerous sports car clubs and the car was well known at events all over the Northeast. The Morgan was Arthurs primary transportation all-rear round and he could often be seen in Winter with a sheepskin-lined leather flying helmet to assist his handsome beard in keeping his head and face warm. In an article Arthur wrote in 2010 for a Morgan Club newsletter, Arthur told of covering over 300,000 miles in the Morgan! Look closely at our studio photos and see how the car wears its patina proudly. But dont be fooled by its well-worn appearance. The history file includes receipts for two engine overhauls and countless other work over the years to maintain the car in peak operating condition. It starts on the button every time and drives as good as new. Request a link to our Dropbox folder with samples of the receipts, books, family photos and original documents that are all included, along with assorted spares. This Morgan represents an unusual opportunity to become the next keeper of this car and its 60-year story, and for you to cherish it as much as Arthur while you write the next chapter in its history.

Description:

1947 MG TC for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this delightful 1947 MGTC in burgundy with black interior. This is another very special British roadster from the estate of Arthur Lang, the other car in the collection being the 1961 Morgan Plus 4 in our current inventory. This car was given the name Winston at some point in its history as evidenced by the plaque affixed to the cowl. The MG was acquired by Arthur in 1989. The car comes with a thick history file including the paperwork from when the car arrived in the US in the early 70s, and lots of receipts and records of events Arthur participated in with the car. TC/3524 is a September 1947 Home Market TC that was first registered in England, and then in Italy. It is said to have been raced in Europe and we are told that the BARC and Luxemburg badges are original. In notes based on oral history passed from prior owners it is said that Winston participated in races, rallies and hill climbs. It is fitted with Brooklands Aero Screens in addition to the fold-down windshield. There are records of rebuilds done to both mechanical and cosmetic components. When Arthur acquired the car it was still in fresh racing tune and trim. Arthur has the car detuned to make it more suitable for year-round road use. It was recently serviced by a respected expert and while Winston retains the patina of more than 70 years of being thoroughly enjoyed, the TC is in top operating order. Arthur was not afraid to use his cars in all kinds of weather and for all kinds of motor sports. Winston was his favorite for rallying. In a short essay about the Legend of Winston, Ruth writes, No matter how hard Arthur drove his cars, he always pampered them once they were back in our garage. Everyday, washing and drying them after taking them out for a run. Constantly maintaining all the mechanical parts on an everyday basis. History is written all over this car and it needs only a new keeper to begin Winstons next chapter.

This 1978 Ford F-250 for sale. Motorcar Classics is now offering this 1978 Ford F250 Ranget XLT SuperCab. Kept by its original owner until 2015 the truck is finished in Bright Dark Blue Metallic and White with a blue vinyl interior, and power is from a 400ci V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. Air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes were factory equipment, and a push bar, wind deflector, and heel arch flares are believed to be period dealer-added accessories. The previous owner was a dealer who only drove the truck 500 miles since acquiring it from its second owner six months ago, also replacing the starter and flywheel. The F250 featured a 3/4-ton payload capacity, and this example is finished in Bright Dark Blue Metallic and white. Ranger XLT trim included a chrome grille surround, while the Camper Special package added larger brakes, an auxiliary battery connection in the bed, a larger radiator, and front and rear sway bars. Dual fuel tanks and an external storage compartment were optioned, and a front bumper bar, wind deflector, side steps, and color-keyed wheel arch flares are believed to be accessories added by the dealership at the time of the original sale. The bed was repainted by the previous dealer. Pacer eight-lug aluminum wheels wear new 33″x12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. A receiver hitch is mounted below the rear bumper. The SuperCab configuration included a split folding front bench with additional seating in the rear. Wood-look appliqus and carpets were included with the Ranger XLT trim level. The transmission is shifted from the column, while the transfer case is operated with the floor shifter. A period Kenwood cassette deck was installed under previous ownership. The woodgrain-accented steering wheel fronts square gauges including a five-digit odometer that shows just under 27k miles. The 400ci V8 drives the rear on all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes. Your inspection is invited!

Description:

This is this amazing never rusted Arizona V8 Mustang convertible.

It is loaded with a 289 4bbl V8. C4 automatic transmission. Ice cold A/C. Power steering, disk brakes and dual exhaust. An aftermarket stereo with a cd changer was installed.

This car is unreal underneath still showing signs of the the red oxide primer, the drains still in place in the bottom of the quarter panels.

The paint is an honest 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. The top is brand new. The rest of the interior is 100% perfect. The engine compartment is a 10. The underside is detailed and perfect as is all of the chrome and stainless. Everything works as it should. It runs and drives like brand new. All of the fluids and tune up parts were just serviced. In needs nothing.

22 years ago the original owner of this car went to great lengths to make this car look like a 1964 1/2. Since he had a perfect all original car retaining all of its original metal he took all the components from a 1965 mustang including the gauge cluster, 1/4 panel bezels, , grill, and a few other components. He also rebuilt a complete 289 A code power train and installed it along with a disk brake conversion that fit under the original 14" wheels and wheel covers.

I have detailed pictures of the underside including all stamping and number codes on every component of the car.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this muscular 1969 Dodge Coronet 440 two door hardtop. Since restoration, this MoPar has only been driven 2000 miles. Enough mileage to work out all of the bugs. The body has been re-painted a blistering shade of yellow. When youre in this car, you better like attention! The all-black vinyl interior is all business; no lumbar, heated seats, or any of the other options found on todays cars. It has A/C and an AM/FM radio to keep the passengers cool and singing their favorite tunes while power brakes and power steering make this Coronet more civilized to drive. Accessory gauges and a tachometer help the driver keep an eye on the cars vitals at all times. The aluminum wheels give it the old school vibe everybodys looking for. Under the hood is where this Dodge really shines! A 383 has been bored .040 over and has a parts list that looks like it came straight out of a Summit racing catalog. Headers, aluminum intake, Street Demon carb, stout camshaft, double roller timing chain, and more really get this big block car down the road. A modified 727 automatic transmission transmits all of those ponies to the 8 3/4 rear axle with a posi-traction unit and 3.23 cogs. A great combination for quick acceleration but easy highway cruising. Underneath this 69 youll find all new suspension and steering components have been replaced, so that this Dodge rides and steers like its 1969 again. This car stops reliably every time because its got power front discs and 11 drums out back. it truly performs, runs, drives, steers, and stops like it did nearly 50 years ago. Its a really sweet ride from the boys at the Pentastar. Dont miss this one! Shes ready to go; all it needs is a new owner that will appreciate its classic lines and its performance potential. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this iconic 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute. The iconic Chevrolet Chevelle was introduced in 1964 and was soon to become one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. In 1968, the Chevelle received newly sculpted sheet metal which included tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. This Chevelle looks absolutely stunning with its long hood and high rear quarter panels. This specific Chevelle makes an awesome driver with many modern features that make it a blast to drive, even if you plan on taking long cruises. Under the hood of this Chevelle rests a 454CID Big Block V8 which is for the most part in its original format. This 454 is equipped with original heads a Wieand Intake, Holley Carburetor and a set of stainless headers that give that nice muscle car rumble you’re looking for. Translating all of this power to the pavement is a TH400 Transmission that does an amazing job of putting the power down. Spark is courtesy of the MSD ignition set up which definitely adds to the reliability making it a well built machine. The whole engine compartment has been fully painted and dressed nicely for that show quality look and feel. This Chevelle sports a very shiny coat of Red paint that makes this beast stand out from the rest. This Chevelle also has an Onyx Black interior with a floor mounted Staple Shifter and the very cool Sunpro Tachometer located on top of the steering column for easy adjustments. This menacing Chevelle rests comfortably on a set of chrome wheels which are wrapped in a set of BF Goodrich radial tires. Every aspect of this Chevelle is completely impressive. If you are in the market for one of Americas most iconic muscle cars, look no further. Gateway Classic Cars Louisville showroom is proud to present this gorgeous Vista Blue Metallic 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT. This extremely clean ’08 Shelby GT is a one owner with only 4715 miles on the odometer and comes with a clean Car Fax. Not only is this Mustang Shelby GT uber clean, the owner has all the literature for the car including the original window sticker and brochures, making for a truly collectible Mustang. The original, mid-1960s Shelby GT350 began life as a Mustang that was built by Ford to a certain equipment standard, then sent to the Shelby American for a spa treatment. Carroll Shelby’s hot-rodders added bolt-on, go-faster parts for the engine and suspension, a few splashy bits to make it look racier, a Shelby ID number, those iconic Shelby stripes from nose to tail, and the rest is muscle car history. Fast forward to today, and, well, not much has changed. Vista Blue is a new Shelby color for 2008, and the convertible body style was also added in ’08, thus adding to the desirability of this Shelby GT. Nostalgia is a dangerous thing, but in the Shelby GT you can relive the good-old days without having to put up with all the bad-old stuff that that went along with them. The Shelby has a beautiful engine note, one that makes the foot want to stay on the gas lest the music stop. Throwing the top down brings an infusion of cool that will make anyone feel like he’s Steve McQueen. Options for this 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT include; Power Convertible Top, Air Conditioning, AM/FM with CD Player, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Brakes, Anti- Lock Brakes, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Side Air Bags, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior and Factory Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Performance tires.
