Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this beautifully restored 1956 Ford Thunderbird. The 1956 Ford Thunderbird is one of those designs that never goes out of style, and remains an instantly-identifiable icon of the 50s. Beautifully styled, comfortable, and with enough performance to keep almost any gearhead happy, they are perhaps the best combination of styling and performance from the 1950s. It can easily be said that the first generation of Thunderbird was their finest. Between 1955 and 1957 the Thunderbird was a small 2 seat roadster which was comparable to the Chevrolet Corvette. These cars could be had with a 292 CI V8, or an optional 312 CID V8. This T-bird has the larger 312 as well as a Ford-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission, along with new wiring, stainless exhaust, and an electric radiator fan. The vivid red paint is stunning along with the red and white interior. This Thunderbird has power brakes, power steering, and a Town and Country AM radio. Stylings include round portholes in the removable hardtop, wire wheels with spinners, Firestone whitewalls, Continental kit, and fender skirts. This 1956 Ford Thunderbird for sale is located in our Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this truly unique 1980 Phillips Berlina. This neo-classic car is modeled after a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster and was designed by Charles W. Phillips . Built in Pompano Beach, FL by Phillips Motor Car Corporation, this Berlina is one of less than 100 made. More impressive is that is has less than 15,000 actual miles! This gorgeous Berlina is built on a stretched frame of a 1980 C3 Corvette with a fiberglass body and a Corvette powertrain. The 350cid V8 provides this car with plenty of power and the smooth shifting 3 speed automatic makes driving this a pleasure. Braking is no problem with four wheel disc brakes. Standard features were power brakes, power steering, a tilt wheel, and power tinted windows. With a fresh new paint finish in the summer of 2017, the Ivory and brown exterior is in excellent condition and the interior looks just as good in beige. On the inside, the wood grain dash and console look fantastic against the beige leather. This example has air conditioning, a leather interior, six wire wheels with two spares on the sides, and a T-top roof that give it that convertible look. It is hard to find a 37 year old neo-classic in this condition with all of these features. Take off the top and go for a cruise down your favorite road, or bring it to a car show for plenty of attention! To see a video of this 1980 Phillips Berlina, please visit gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1991 GMC Syclone. The Syclone for some crazy reason was only produce for one year. Maybe the Chevrolet boys weren’t too happy that this all-wheel drive beast was faster than the ’91 Corvette in the ¼ mile. The Syclone was the quickest stock pickup truck being produced in the world. Auto magazines compared its acceleration favorably to a variety of sports cars including the Corvette. Featuring a turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive, and 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, the specifications had more in common with a Porsche than most other pickup trucks. The Syclone truck featured a Mitsubishi TD06-17C 8 cm² turbocharger and Garrett water/air intercooler attached to a 4.3 L LB4 V6 engine with unique pistons, main caps, head gaskets, intake manifolds, fuel system, exhaust manifolds, and a 48mm twin bore throttle body from the 5.7 L GM Small-Block engine. All Syclones had a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. A Borg Warner all wheel drive transfer case split torque with 35% forward and 65% to the rear wheels. The Sycone also featured sport modifications to the standard suspension. The Syclone was the first production truck to receive a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system. Output was 280 hp (209 kW) and 350 lb·ft (475 N·m).[1] The Syclone, when new, was capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and could do a quarter-mile run in 13.4 seconds at 98 mph (158 km/h) according to Car & Drivers comparison test. In 1991 Syclones were available in black only. 1992 models were to be offered in a wider range of colors before they were canceled. 2995 Syclones were built in 1991, and 3 in 1992. This Syclone is the 4th Syclone produced as evidence by the VIN number with the 5 digits ending in 00004. The owner has recently gone through the Syclone. The 4.3 V6 is the original number matching engine and has been completely rebuilt to factory specs. Options for this 1991 GMC Syclone include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette Player, Power steering, Power Brakes, Anti-Lock Brakes, Power Door Locks, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to present this all-American Pony Car beautifully finished in artic white with blue ralley stripes and a nicely done blue and white Pony Interior. This classic Mustang received an extensive restoration about 1000 miles ago including an overhaul of the “A code” 289 CID 4V engine and T-10 four speed transmission. Unlike many classic Mustangs out there that have had engine and transmission swaps this is an original “A” code 289 4 and four speed car from the factory, it even still sports the hard to find “Autolite” four barrel carburetor. The sheet metal is very straight and paint is excellent in a high-quality finish. The 15-inch period correct Rallye wheels are a perfect complement to this classic Mustang and are fitted with 20560R15 tires. The chrome and bright work are excellent and the windshield and seal has also been replaced, the rest of the glass is in great condition as well. Engine cooling is handled by an upgraded aluminum radiator to keep things cool in hot weather. Inside this fantastic Mustang you will find a very nice interior that has had many renovations. There is a Ford period correct under-dash air conditioner that has been upgraded with a modern lightweight “Sanden” style compressor using R134 Freon and it blows ice cold. The following items have been replaced during the restoration: seat upholstery, door panels, carpet, dash pad, headliner, Dynamat insulation and more, the interior of this Mustang is in outstanding condition. All the chrome, trim and bright work inside are in great shape. Tunes are provided by a modern digital “Retrosounds” stereo that sounds great, it even has a built-in slide cover to make it look like an old school AM radio! This car starts right up and the dual, full length exhaust has a nice muscle car rumble but is not overly loud. The 289 CID engine has plenty of power and it drives and shifts great. This classic Mustang would be a fine addition to any car collection or a great way to begin your classic car passion. So imagine this, an open road with a clear blue sky, you behind the wheel of this beautiful Mustang with your favorite music playing and that small block its own music in the background. Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS convertible. The color combination is absolutely gorgeous with the Sienna Blue exterior and matching blue interior. 1964 was the first year for the first generation of a car that went on to become one of the most loved American classics of all time. The Malibu was basically the top of the line Chevelle and came in a number of body styles. You could get a four-door sedan, two-door sport coupe hardtop, convertible or a two-seat station wagon. This being the convertible, it is the most desirable of all. The interiors were more lavish than the basic cars. In 1964 the top performance option was a 300hp 327 CID V8 engine. This one has a 350 CID V8 with even more power. It is bolted to the 4-speed manual transmission to give you the best driver focused experience. You really feel connected to the car in this one. The Malibu used to be considered an awesome rear drive American muscle car. But if you go to the Chevrolet dealership in 2018 you will see the nameplate on a front drive economy car. Sometimes we questions the moves that GM make. But, do not go and buy the new and boring one, buy this one! Features include seat belts, 4-speed, Posi-Traction and rally wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Rallye 350. The third generation of Cutlass saw multiple styling changes as did all the other A-body cars from GM which resulted in an overall shrinkage of the size of the car by about 3 inches. GM also tossed out the limitation on engines higher than 400 cubic inches which were great news for the purchaser of a new 442 which would come with a standard-issue 455 CID V8. This great driver comes with the stout Rocket 350 CID mated to a TH400 for ease of drivability. The exterior is painted in a shocking yellow. When you open the drivers door you are thrown right back to 1970 when this car came out. The black vinyl interior is in moderate shape. Options include AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, Raised White Letters and Aluminum Wheels. This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. This 2004 Chevrolet SSR is now for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars. Among the many sport model cars that Chevrolet had put out in years gone past, the SSR stood out as something on the more unique end of things. The front body lines of the grille, headlights, and facia is bound to look like a retro 1940s look blended with modern touches. As if the body style wasnt enough to steal peoples attention; the hot red color of the car is blended with a custom ghost flame job which features metallic colors of red, pink and magenta. This car is bound to be a great conversation piece wherever you go with it. The SSR is powered by a 5.3-liter LS V8 engine which sings a muscular tune through a dual exhaust system and is easily operated through an automatic transmission. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is Proud to welcome this Pro Street 1978 Chevrolet Corvette to our showroom. Pro street cars are not always built with drivability in mind. The owner of this car however built it so that it feels very comfortable on the highway. This Corvette started life as a 1978 Corvette Pace Car. There are very few traces of that car remaining today. The outside is finished in Meadow Green Metallic. The interior is Black and in excellent condition. The engine is a 355 CI V8 with a 671 BDS Blower and Hilbourne Fuel injection. The engine was built by Lorenzos Fast Flow Cylinders and was putting out over 600 HP before the fuel injection was added. A Turbo 400 automatic transmission with reverse manual valve body, trans brake and line lock transfers the power to a 9 in Ford rear with 4:33 gears and a nodular center section. A wildwood 4 wheel disc setup brings this beast to a stop and adjustable rear shocks and 90/10 racing shocks upfront keep the rubber on the road. The car is equipped with power steering and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The ignition is electronic MSD and everything is controlled by a Fast Systems computer. The rear wing is an aluminum custom fabrication that helps to keep the tires hooked to the asphalt. The wheelie bars look great, and they are not welded on, so they can be removed for a more discreet look. To view this 1978 Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video shot with the owner putting this car through it’s paces, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
