Description:

The slick black paint laid atop of the iconic 1950’s body lines on this classic Pontiac are to die for! This was the second generation of the Chieftain and back when it was being produced it featured cutting edge design qualities and a major upgrade under the hood. It was the first year that Pontiac dropped in the 316 CID V8 that was producing just over a whopping 190HP. Although it is not a true numbers matching car, you will still find a similar engine situated under the long heavy metal hood that has been freshened up. A trend that you will notice right away in both the interior and trunk area, is the well done tuck and roll upholstery. The extra labor that was needed to accomplish this look though was well worth it giving the car both a stylish 50’s look and a comfortable ride. While looking through the interior of this Chieftain, there was one thought that came to mind. What happened to this level of quality of craftsmanship and styling? The steering wheel alone has a glossy black paint with a chrome metal ring floating in the middle for the horn and a Chieftain emblem dipped in acrylic with a diamond background. This is the kind of attention to detail that has been lost over the years! The under carriage of this classic Pontiac is nearly as clean as the smooth finish on top and is show worthy. It is not just a pretty face! Jump in, turn the key, and almost instantly the V8 comes to life. It may be an automatic transmission, but don’t forget the parking brake! This transmission uses the neutral instead of a park position and relies on the parking brake to keep it from rolling away. Once the parking brake is removed, drop it into gear and cruise away with ease. The 316 has plenty of power to get you up to speed and cruises nicely. This Chieftain would make an excellent weekend cruiser that is guaranteed to turn heads where ever it goes! This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1956 Pontiac Chieftain in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

This dark charcoal gray metallic 1979 Porsche 911 SC is now gracing the Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars with its sleek and legendary presence. The sports car legend is powered by a 3.0 liter flat 6-cylinder engine and mated to a 5 speed manual transmission which planted into the lightweight body of the Porsche, makes for a fast and zippy ride that handles like it’s on rails. The 911 also features tan leather interior that contrasts beautifully with the dark charcoal color on the outside; which looks black from farther back but reveals its gorgeous metallic finish up close. Some of the features that accompany this sporty interior include air conditioning, power moonroof, power windows, analog clock, and an amplified Blaupunkt stereo to supply the driver with quality sound with their commute. This Porsche is promised to turn heads wherever it goes as it is a limited production car that was made between 1978 and 1983 branded as the “SC” model which stood for “Super Carrera”. It is all to easy to say that this model is one above the rest of the regular model Porsche 911 models in which this car turned more horsepower and featured aluminum block engine over previous model magnesium block in order to achieve greater reliability. This simply makes buying an SC model a no brainer when you can find one for sale. 1979 Porsche 911 SC is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

This good looking original numbers matching survivor-ish 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. This particular Bel Air is a two owner car! The original owner, a geography teacher, passed away in 1978. She bought the car as a gift to herself, when she was promoted at the University she worked at. At the time of her passing the odometer read 39000 miles. The 2nd owner purchased the ’57 Chevy in the early part of 1979. Minor work has been performed on the car over the years to keep it, but it has never gone through a full or partial restoration. The front fenders have been repaired, due to some small rust holes. Both doors show some slight damage, but overall the body in paint is in excellent condition for a nearly 60 year old car. The car was stored away for some time, so the mechanicals were gone through and serviced. The Bel Air is truly road worthy as it just made a 320+ journey to our Louisville Showroom. Under the hood, everything looks factory original and unmolested, hard to find in ’57 Chevrolet. The interior is in excellent shape, with the only wear showing in the drivers side carpet. The only reason this jewel is being sold because the owner has purchased his high school dream car. If you are looking for a well preserved all original 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, then give us a call and you be the 3rd owner! Options for this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air include; Power Steering, Vinyl interior wit cloth inserts, Bias Ply Wide White Wall tires and Hub Caps. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia offers you This 1942 Chevrolet AK. The Chevrolet AK Series truck was a light duty truck sold under the Chevrolet brand, with production beginning in 1941 until 1947. It used the General Motors A platform, shared with the Chevrolet Deluxe. In 1942 because of war there was no production for the public as all trucks were designated for military use. This 1942 AK is one of those trucks. This AK is far from standard issue. Powered by a 69 Camaro 350 CI small block and a 700 R4 from Monster transmissions. There is no shortage of power in this war wagon. I am sure that in 1942 any soldier would have loved AC, power windows and power locks. Power steering and power brakes are also now standard equipment on this truck. The interior is highly customized with power high back seats AM FM and CD, Tilt wheel and keyless entry. You almost get a big rig or a cab over feeling sitting in the truck. There are wood inlays on the dash and door panels. The shifter is floor mounted. The rear of the truck is highlighted by a beautiful custom built stake body bed with amazing wood work and detail. There is a diamond plate tool box mounted in the bed. Check out the dual Barrell Gas tanks mounted saddle bag style on each side and featuring an electronic switch over. 35 Gallons each for a total capacity of 70 Gallons. They look great under the bed. The Big Rig look continues on the front of the truck where Quad rectangular headlamps and a large bar chrome front grille dominate the look. This is a one of a kind custom truck that is done right. Imagine how cool this truck would look pulling our trailer. Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this very original and well kept 1956 Chevrolet Delray that is one of the few remaining survivors left! The current owner of this car purchased it from the second owner back in 1979 who had purchased from the original owner only 6 months prior but had to sell it for his wedding. Once purchased in 1979 the car was in great shape but was then taken off the frame where any N.O.S. parts he could get a hold of were replaced and was brought to the paint shop where it was repainted back to the original color combination and looked much like it did when it rolled out right off the showroom floor. After the car was finished in the early 80’s, it was shown at a few shows where it took 3 1st place trophies and one 2nd place trophy; but after only a couple years the car was put away in storage and has only been driven a couple thousand miles since! The 51,000 miles on the odometer are actual on the car and is one of the few tri-five Chevrolet’s that have not been resto-modded or dramatically altered over the years. The interior has been kept original with only the need to change out the carpet and still is in excellent shape! The original 265 cubic inch V8 and 3-speed manual are still there and keep this car running down the road smoothly. Description:

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute. Over the years, COPO has become synonymous with Chevy’s monster-displacement Camaros. It’s a term that is still used today by Chevrolet for the purpose-built drag racing Camaros, which are released year after year, just 69 units at a time. But what does COPO really mean? An acronym for “Central Office Production Order,” COPO was the method used by dealers in the know who could use it to order options, or a combination of options, that weren’t specifically listed on the order forms. The most famous use was when dealers used the COPO system to circumvent GM’s 400-cu-in limit on anything that wasn’t a full-size car or a Corvette. If you knew what dealers to go to and who to talk to, you could have used the COPO system to order a factory installed 427 in a 1969 Camaro or Chevelle. This COPO Tribute was done up in fresh Yellow paint with black interior. The engine is a 454 block with 427 internals, that is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. This combo packs the punch you expect from big block in a small bodied car! Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this absolutely wild 1979 Chevrolet Malibu. This Malibu is a far cry from the standard grocery-getter that Chevy was stamping out by the thousands. Powering this monster is a 454 big block V8 stroked out to 496 cubic inches backed up to a beefy TH-400 transmission sandwiching a 5000rpm stall converter. The 496 is spinning an Eagle 4340 crankshaft with Eagle H-beam rods topped with SRP 13.5:1 pistons. A pair of Pro Comp Aluminum ported heads round out the long block for a very healthy amount of power on tap. Taking care of getting air and fuel in the engine is a Victor JR intake and a 950 CFM Holley Carburetor. A custom set of Lemons Headers spew the exhaust fumes through a pair of Spintech mufflers for the sound of a beautifully orchestrated chaos. While all of that power makes for killer sound and plenty of tire smoke, there’s more to going fast than just having power; it needs to be effectively put to the pavement. With SPC upper control arms and TRZ lower control arms working in tandem with Qa1 adjustable coil overs, this Malibu grips and rips. A Moser 12-bolt packed fill with 4.10 gears and 30-spline axles resides out back, more than capable of handling the powerplant. A custom frame was fabricated with a 4-link suspension set up to keep the Moser properly located. Making sure the body and frame stay as solid as possible, a 10-point roll cage was installed and painted black to blend in with the gorgeous interior. The two-tone gray paint with the red stripe absolutely pops under the sun. The paint looks deep enough that you could take a dive in it and never come back out. The color scheme is tied through the seats in the interior making for a very complete and well thought out design. The seats were custom redone to match the paint! A switch panel is mounted in the redesigned dash to give the driver total control over all of the electronics of the vehicle, while a master disconnect can set the Malibu in hibernation for any extended downtime. Plenty of custom work is massaged into all aspects of this vehicle, and the hard work really paid off making for an extremely well-finished vehicle. This 1979 Chevrolet Malibu is a very well put together car and should fill your trophy case with ease after only a few shows. Options include: Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Leather Interior, Kill Switch, Alloy Wheels, and a Posi Traction Rear Axle. For more information on this one of a kind 1979 Chevrolet Malibu, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this well-preserved 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan in our Arizona showroom. Any car that is over 80 years old has a story to tell and this attractive Tudor is no different: the car underwent a full, frame-off restoration in 1993 to bring it up to its present-day condition. The current owner, whose family has enjoyed the car for over 20 years, included the photos of the restoration process that show how much of the original steel was retained on this build. Propelling you down the road in this excellent car is a tried and tested Chevy 350 small-block V8 with a Carter AFB 4-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock manifold. The 350 is paired to a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic transmission that has barely been broken in with just over 35,700 miles of use. This Ford Tudor sedan really is a looker with its popping Brandywine lacquer paintjob, polished aluminum wheels and unmistakable oversized halogen headlights. Once you open the doors to this stunning sedan and sit down in the Camaro bucket seats, you will be greeted by a pleasingly modernized interior that includes air conditioning, an Alpine stereo with CD player and Stewart Warner gauges that really get you excited about putting your foot on that gas pedal and watching those RPM’s rise with a big smile on your face on a Saturday afternoon. The Ahooga horn on this 30’s hot rod is a nice touch that is sure to draw some positive attention from onlookers. This 1934 Ford Tudor sedan for sale right now at our facility is turn-key ready and at this price, it surely won’t be around for long. This good looking 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The data tag confirms this Challenger is a true R/T equipped with a 440 V8 390 HP 3-2BBL Carburetor (six-pack) set-up. The owner does not believe this to be the original 440 V8, but it is period correct to the car. The Yellow is not the original color to the car. Originally the color of this was Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a white vinyl top. We think the yellow exterior and black vinyl top. The interior decodes as vinyl high back bucket seats, but it does not designate the color. The current owner is not completely sure about the rear end, but it originally came with a Super Performance Axle package with 4.10 gears. The complete breakdown of the data tag is available upon request. Overall, this Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack is in very good condition. With the recent work done to the Challenger, it will bring the fun factor. You may want to set aside a little cash as this car is very capable of melting the rear tires.
