In the early 1950s the wagon was going through a renaissance with the introduction of all steel bodies, the wagon was no longer an expensive wooden framed luxury item for hotels and the wealthy. The Ranch trim of wagons was Ford attempt at an affordable family and workaday runabout with value and thriftiness as its primary focus. The early 2 door styling was Fords take on the British shooting Brake concept. A concept that envisioned a 2-door wagon for adventure excursions with a retractable roof so one could shoot while standing in the vehicle. While an awesome concept, most just served as practical sports car alternatives or as work a day utilitarian runabout...like the Ford Ranch Wagon. This 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon has been tastefully hot rodded with a modern Ford 302 V8, topped with an Edlebrock manifold and 4-barrel carb. Its been blessed with a modern 134a AC system and 3 speed automatic transmission. The interior is finished in a custom blue with white inlays and blue piping. This is a perfect contrast to the silver and blue two-tone exterior. The car rides on chrome American Racing 5 spokes with lowering springs for an improved stance. The car drives as well as it looks. With good power and a smooth ride. This hot-rodded Ford wagon is a head turner! Get your hands on it before its too late. Description:

The 1940 Buick special was the entry level that Buick was putting out that year. Its slick and bubble design was typical for the 40s. It was also known as the 40 series, but the number had been removed in 36. This example is a great running and driving car that has all the hard stuff done. The paint on the car could use some work. The drivetrain is where the money was spent on this rod. The modern 5.3 votec engines fuel injection has been changed to a carb. The engine still has the great performance with some of the best throttle response I have seen in a carb car. Hooked up to one of the best transmissions in the business. The TCi built 700r4 works great. The 700r4 is already a great transmission but with it being built by TCI it makes a great transmission even better. Just hit the key and this Buick comes to life without hesitation and sounds good with the full length custom dual exhaust. The interior of the car has gone back to a more original classic feel but is very comfortable all the same. The wheels you notice are from a grand national and do look custom on this street rod. Options on this 1940 Buick special include, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Alloy Wheels and Radial Tires. This 1940Buick Special for sale can be seen at our Louisville showroom, www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call 812- 294-1555 for additional information See more at: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/2067/1940-Buick-Special

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this stunning 1966 Pontiac Tempest Resto-mod. This stunning 66 was a California car that was fully restored about 14k miles ago in 2013 by the Street Rod Factory in San Marco, California. The car was just repainted a year ago in Intense Indigo Blue. The curb appeal of this dark blue beauty is head turning with its offset 17inch-18inch Torque Thrust 2 Wheels, front and rear air ride suspension system, and new Vortex muffler duel exhaust system peaking out of the rear. When hopping into the driver seat you instantly notice the quality of the interior with its custom stitched cloth seats, LeCarra wood steering wheel, tilt column, power windows, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage A/C system, brand new stereo system with a back up camera and hidden subwoofer. What makes this 66 stand apart from the rest is its reliable drivetrain and modern features. This Pontiac is powered by a 5.7-liter L98 V8 engine with tune port injection out of an 87 Trans Am, mated to a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission with a posi traction rear end and 3.55 gears. This thing really moves and can actually be driven daily. To add to that fact, it even has 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and a brand new programable computer system. Not only does popping open the hood make your jaw drop with its March bracket and pulley system and tune port injection, but it is also functional and practical. If you are looking for something that you could take to shows, drive often, or even collect a sought after 60s muscle car, look no further! Description:

Located for sale in our Tampa Showroom is a two owner 2002 Chrysler Prowler with only 8,600 actual original miles. Finished in a sharp yellow over black leather interior. 2002 was the last year of production on the Prowler, they only made 1436 of them, Chrysler designers were given free rein to design a 30s style hot rod roadster to follow up the show stopping Dodge Viper. Chip Foose helped with the design by drawing up a coupe with similar proportions. Chyslers guys preferred a roadster so they chopped the top off that design and ended up with an open wheel, open top design that has since become immediately recognizable. Chrysler took this all new body design and stuffed in a 3.5 Liter V6 which made comparable power and torque figures to their V8 engines of the time. Power was transferred via a torque tube to a rear mounted 4-Speed automatic transmission which helped with weight distribution. The later cars used an aluminum version of the 3.5L which also helped with weight. The majority of the chassis was aluminum as well to keep the weight down to improve performance both in a straight line and in the twistys. 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds was no problem as well as a 125+ mph top speed. Handling was also addressed and includes inboard coil over shocks up front with aluminum upper and lower control arms. Options for this 2002 Chrysler Prowler include Air Conditioning, AM/FM with CD Player, Manual Convertible Top, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Cruise Control, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and Chrome Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a great example of a gently used, super low mile, one owner Prowler from the last year of production. If you are shopping for a Prowler, this one has to be on your shortlist. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston is proud to offer this beautiful 1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe. A few years before World War 2 started Chevrolet built this fantastic piece of automotive history. The 1937 Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe was touted as The complete car, completely new in ads. Retooling had cost $26 million, an astronomical figure by the standards of the time. Not since 1929 had Chevrolets been altered so completely. This is the same year that Bing Crosby released songs like Sweet Leilani and Snow White was in theaters for the first time! Impressive new styling of the 1937 Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe was the work of Jules Agramonte, who had designed the stunning 1934 LaSalle. This car received a frame off restoration in 2003 and has only logged 4639 miles on it since the build was completed & no expense was spared. The car is finished in 3 beautiful coats of Viper Red and topped off with 5 clear coats. The roof has been chopped & lowered by about 4-inches to give it that custom & classic yet menacing look. The exterior trim, bumpers, & glass are in great condition. The hood opens & closes easily with no issues. The interior is color matched to the outside with some new classic gauges in the dash, custom Chevy steering wheel, Bluetooth CD player with speakers throughout the cab, nice cloth bench seats, good condition door panels, carpet, & headliner, & each seat has 5-point seat belt harnesses. It is powered by a brand new 350 CID V8 crate engine from Goodwrench. The engine was installed at 4361 miles and has less than 300 miles on it since then. It is also covered by a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty that is transferrable to the new owner. The transmission has about 1000 miles on it since it was rebuilt and installed into the car. It is equipped with some nice features including; power assisted drum brakes, a vega steering box, electronic cooling fans on the new aluminum radiator, 3-inch SS exhaust and a stainless steel firewall. You will also find a new gas tank, B&M shifter, 3.55 gears in the Chevy rear end, clean & clear title. Don’t miss your chance to own this beautiful classic Chevrolet. Contact our Houston showroom for more information or to find out about purchasing (832) 243-6220. The Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe were manufactured and marketed between 1934 and 1942 to replace the 1933 Eagle model. It was the top-of-the-line model for Chevrolet during that era. The base model in 1939 was renamed the Master 85. While the original powerplant, a 206 cid inline 6 rated at 80hp performed well in the day, this 1939 touring machine will do better. This build features a GM ZZ4 302 cid, 224 hp V8 crate motor mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission and 10-bolt Chevy 3:23 rear end. This beautiful Purple/Grey machine also includes rack & pinion steering, power front disc brakes, ceramic coated headers, stainless exhaust & fuel tank. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom is this “more power” 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. There is probably not another car that represents the United States better than the Corvette. This is the American Dream and this dream is ready for the open road. Everything started in 1953 when Chevrolet built a small sports car called the Corvette. A man named Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of a small, maneuverable warship and this battleship is ready for combat. With less than 5,000 miles since Its rebuild, this Phoenix 350ci V8 engine is pumping out 415 horses, and the Vette takes off with a screaming V8 sound. Of course, you want to maneuver this Chevy with a 4-speed manual transmission. This is how it should be and this is exactly how it is with this ’70 Corvette. The fiberglass body lines up great. The interior is in very good condition. Soft top looks brand new and it opens and closes great. The frame looks straight underneath without any visible rust. The Vette comes with following options: Manual Convertible Top, Power Steering, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, AM/FM Radio, Rally Wheels and Radial Tires. This C3 is ready for another 50 years, and a new owner. You will have a great time with this car. It has it all, it looks good, it is fast, and it is a great investment. Corvettes are steadily going up in value. Don’t wait too long to call us. The Corvettes are super popular all over the world and don’t let anybody else steal your dream. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
