And sure is a beauty, with a brand new Blue Print 408 stroker engine, new interior including carpet, seats and headliner, and a brand new set of 17 inch chrome Cragar wheels. Description:

Now for sale in our Dallas Showroom is one awesome 56 Chevrolet 210 Wagon. Wagons remain red-hot in the marketplace, and what could be cooler than hauling your gear around in this sweet 1956 Chevrolet 210 station wagon? Classic looks and modern amenities make it easy to love, and a station wagon with a 4-speed manual gearbox is just too cool. Traditional 50s colors work just as well on a station wagon as they do on a flashy Bel Air convertible, and the Tahoe Turquoise and India Ivory combination here gives the wagon a bright look that disguises the modern upgrades underneath. The good news is that all the sheetmetal is in excellent shape with factory-grade gaps and that solid feeling only old cars seem to offer. The bad news is... well, there is no bad news other than to say this car works so well its been driven a bit since it was finished, so its not a show car anymore. Nevertheless, the chrome and stainless trim is very good, particularly the pieces that separate the two colors on the quarter panels, and its been fitted with new headlights and taillights. The fact that it has four doors doesnt make it any less cool than its Nomad siblings and its a lot more practical. Gray fabric makes the interior easy on the eyes and comfortable for long hauls, yet the contrasting turquoise dash and steering wheel keeps it looking like 1956. The important stuff is original, including the gauges, door hardware, and the gorgeous color-matched steering wheel. Beyond that, however, youll find aftermarket air conditioning neatly stashed under the dash, a Hurst shifter for the 4-speed manual gearbox, and seat belts for safety. A trio of auxiliary gauges has been installed under the dash to monitor oil pressure, temperature, and voltage, while the original AM radio still lives at center stage. The back seat is actually usable thanks to the 4-door design and the wonderful turquoise cargo bay is massive and expands exponentially with the fold-down rear seats. If you like your hot rods practical, this one delivers! With this 210, you also get a strong-running 283 cubic inch V8 engine, which, of course, looks right sitting in the engine bay. Its a little different than the original version, sporting a chrome air cleaner, fuelie double hump heads and a big Holley double-pumper up top and some trick valve covers with turquoise Chevrolet script on their faces. Theres also a big aluminum radiator and the A/C compressor, so theres no hiding the fact that this is a resto-mod built to drive. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission was recently rebuilt and feeds a 10-bolt rear end hanging on original leaf springs. Power front disc brakes, a custom dual exhaust system, and a slightly lowered suspension are welcome additions that give it a hot rod attitude and easy road manners. The undercarriage is pretty original, so you shouldnt be afraid to drive this one, and the pretty chrome daisy mags with knock-offs are a vintage look that works rather well on this wagon. Recent 225/70/15 front and 235/70/15 rear radials finish the look. Documented with restoration receipts, this clean, ready-to-enjoy 210 wagon proves that practical can also be very cool. Call today! Be sure to visit our main web page, www.gatewayclassiccars.com where you can view 100+ pictures, and a short video of this amazing car in action. Along with all the rest of our fantastic inventory in this as well as our other seventeen showrooms! Better yet, stop by our Dallas showroom and see the car in person! Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is pleased to offer for sale a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. This beautiful example of the classic pony car is covered in Autumn Bronze with a contrasting black vinyl interior and looks like it is traveling at 125 MPH while it is sitting still. This one owner Firebird for sale was purchased on the 28 day of February 1968 and is still owned by the same couple. 1968 Pontiac Firebirds are becoming harder to find and chances are you have not seen one like this in a long time, if ever! You see when you pop the hood on this 68 Firebird for sale you will not fine the standard small block 350 CID V8 but rather an inline 6 Cylinder with an overhead cam. Doing a little research, I found the following. All Pontiac OHC-6s featured a deep-skirted block and seven main bearings for strength and durability. Forged rods carried cast-aluminum pistons with deeply recessed tops for valve clearance. Large 1.92-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust valves were opened via rocker arms. Though intake and exhaust ports were side by side on the same side of the cylinder head, ports were not Siamesed as on some earlier sixes. The cast-aluminum rocker cover included built-in bearings for the camshaft. Displacing 230 cubic inches, the 165-hp OHC-6 had a 9:1 compression ratio and a one-barrel carburetor. With only 4006 of these coupes built in 1968 there are very few left today for those of us that appreciate them. This example had a frame off restoration in the mid 90s and shows as if that happened yesterday. The options for this 1968 Firebird include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering , Seat belts, and Rally wheels. This Firebird for sale in our Nashville showroom can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com if you would like to see this car in person we welcome you to stop in our Nashville showroom at 320 Tech park Dr. Suite 600 La Vergne Tn 37086

Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this 2004 Chevrolet SSR that has been kept in showroom condition and has only have 9,174 miles clocked since new! It is not your typical everyday SSR though, this pickup has been well optioned with all of the creature comforts you could want including; heated leather power seats, power mirrors, keyless entry, power windows, a retractable hard top and a premium stereo system. The options didnt stop in the interior though, this SSR features the much sleeker trim piece that wraps around the rear tailgate and ties the taillights into the trim piece. Up front a similar chrome accent was added along with the chrome Chevrolet emblem to better sell the retro look of the 40s and 50s trucks the designers were shooting for. The drive train of the SSR in 2004 was a 300 horsepower 5.3L V8 that was plenty of power to get this small pickup moving in a hurry. As you ride in this car you will notice the subtle similarities in design that were pulled from the past and integrated into this car including the steering wheel with silver trim that hints to the large and thin style of the old pickups. The wood strips in the trunk are a classy touch and is a reminder of the wood plank beds from back in the day. This SSR is one of the cleanest examples around and with less than 10,000 original miles is still like the day it rolled off the assembly line. If you are looking for a true collectors item that you can drive and enjoy this 2004 Chevrolet SSR is an excellent option for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2004 Chevrolet SSR in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our Indianapolis showroom is this very original 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. Do you want to be cruising around and hear people say What a beautiful car? If so, this is the car for you! This Mustang is a very nice clean convertible. Driven by the original numbers matching 351 CID Cleveland V-8 which was rebuilt and is mostly to factory specs other than a Comp Cam paired with a 3-speed automatic FMX transmission this Mustang rumbles. Only 11,853 1973 Ford Mustang Convertibles were made and under half of them were 8-cylinder cars. The exterior has a very good quality re-finish of the original factory Red color and a black power convertible top. The interior is a two-tone black and white vinyl high back front bucket seating with floor console shifter. This 1973 Ford Mustang for sale was originally a California car! Can you say clean!? Most of the changes for the 1973 Mustang were merely cosmetic. A large, square, chrome headlamp bezel appeared, as did chrome trim around the tail lights. A new, grained, black applique with bright trim was placed on the rear body panel between the tail lights. The 1973 Mustang convertible was to become the last Mustang convertible for many years. Options on this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale include: AM/FM radio, Cassette, Air Conditioning, automatic convertible top, power brakes, power steering, power windows, power locks, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and the vehicle is numbers matching. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1987 Buick Gran National! The turbo V-6 story goes all the way back to 1973 when Ken Baker, a young engineer in Buicks test lab (he would later lead General Motors electric-vehicle program, then its research labs), started a Boy Scout Explorer program at the Buick engineering department. I decided that a great project would be to turbocharge the recently revived V-6 with the capability of performance in lighter cars or fuel economy in larger cars, he relates. We begged, borrowed, and scrounged parts to build a dyno engine, then got a scrap Skylark and married the two. That project involved many engineers giving seminars to the [Scout] kids regarding their areas of expertise . . . and a car that was a blast to drive. The significant improvement was in 1986, when Ron Yuille and the Turbo Engine Group engineered an intercooler for the 3.8 Turbo SFI V-6, wrote Martyn L. Schorr in his book, Buick GNX. With a new two-piece aluminum intake manifold that increased airflow by 10 percent, the engine was rated at 235 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque for 86, then 245 horsepower and 355 lb-ft for 87. Car and Drivers April 1986 review began: Corvette, get outa town. Mustang, move over. Camaro, keep your back to the wall at all times. The biggest, baddest gun west of the Pecos is loose in the streets, and theres gonna be some shootin…. C/D clocked a 4.9-second zero-to-60-mph run, quicker than a contemporary Corvette, most U.S.-market Ferraris, and even the Lamborghini Countach. Its quarter-mile was also impressive at 13.9 seconds. But C/Ds tech team calculated that the test cars engine was actually pumping out something like 290 horses versus the advertised 235, so it may have been tweaked by Buick engineers. Ed Mertz became Buick general manager in 1986, and GMs aging rear-wheel-drive mid-sizers ceased production in 1987 to be replaced by new GM10 front-drive models for 1988. But Buick extended its Grand National build through the end of that year to satisfy demand. A total of 20,740 GNs were built for 1987 (versus 5512 in 1986). Of those, exactly 547 would be converted to GNXs. (Source: Car and Driver, Gary Witzenberg) Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of American Muscle history in our Denver Showroom. The Bronco was a humble offering in its initial production years but every example came in 4-wheel-drive with locking hubs. This 1966 Bronco for sale comes in a two-tone red and white paintjob with black vinyl interior. The 170 CID Inline 6 derived from a Ford Falcon under the hood has recently been gone through with work including a new valve job, fuel pump and wiring. Every Bronco sold until 1973 came with a “3-on-the-tree column shift manual transmission. This stock engine and transmission combination really helps take you back in time when driving this truck to a much simpler era. It is also very easy to access and work on the motor due to the vast amount of space in the engine bay. This Bronco has just 44,000 actual miles on it according to the seller. It comes with a spare tire, hub caps, seat belts and brand new radial tires. This truck is ready to hop in and hit the backroads! Description:

This deep blue 1965 Ford Thunderbird convertible for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Thunderbird was introduced as a sporty two seater geared to the luxury crowd. A segment that had been pretty much ignored by American car makers. Starting out as a little 2 seater the car would see the addition a lot of things but rear seats has to be the biggest. This 65 is a great example of why these cars became so loved back then. Even though the car is a bigger car it carries all that sheetmetal nicely and does not appear to big as it really is. The blue paint on the car looks great with the base coat clear coat giving it a whole new depth that could not be achieved back then. The white top just enhances that blue even more. The wide white walls are the perfect match and really put an exclamation point on the build. The hubcaps are a welcomed addition and give it a classic feel. Under the hood is one of Fords go to engines an FE big block 390 that sounds amazing. The transmission shifts nicely giving the car a very cruiser feel. Unlatch the 2 hooks and hit the button as the white top comes down giving the car a totally different look. The white leather interior is easily showed off now and is sure to grab attention no matter where you go. If you have been wanting a great running and looking 60s era convertible with big block power this beauty is the car for you. Receipts are available upon request. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1733/1965-Ford-Thunderbird-Convertible

Description:

This sharp 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II is for sale in our Tampa FL showroom. The 66 Model was the first year for the second generation of the line. The humped fenders and angular taillights were defining design ques mimicked from the full-size line of GM cars. The car was still considered a subcompact but the intro of the new 327 and 350 V8 engine options had many scratching their head. However, hotrodders rejoiced as they had been waiting for some time for GM Brass to do just that. The new 327/350 Nova was a street machine and people were quick to realize that baby Nova was a great platform for a true Muscle car, and they have been used for high transplants ever since. This beauty has its original numbers matching 327 V8 and paired to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Additions under the hood include a modern 134a A/C system, Competition duel quad Carburetors, and an aluminum radiator. This truly is the ideal setup. Gives you plenty of down low grunt and efficient rpms at highway cruising. The blue paint its slick and very clean with the panels fitting extremely well. The small cowl hood is just enough to let people know that this isnt just your average Nova. The black interior with buckets upfront looks very good as well. If you are looking for great Chevy II this little Nova must be the best bang for your buck hands down. Options on this 66 Chevy include; AM/FM/Cassette, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires. This car is perfect for your entry into the classic car hobby as a collectors item or even as a driver.
