Description:

This 1974 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Alfa Romeo GTV is a car that many will say is one of the best-looking cars to come from across the pond. With its great lines and near perfect stance it is easy to see why so many have fell in love with these cars. They much like the other European cars have steadily gone up in value and are any collectors bucket list. This 73 is a fitting example of what these cars can become with some time and money. The body is original to the car with a fresh silver paint job accenting those smooth lines. Pop the hood and the Dual cam inline 4 is amazing to look at just sitting there. The dual carb setup is a feature that helps with delivering that exact amount of gas and air a common conversion on these inlines. Turn the key and this freshly built piece of art is capable of 200HP while that classic inline 4 goes screaming into the higher RPM range. The original 5 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth with the clutch having a great feel. With the car only having 3 owners and the odometer showing right under 82000 miles this classic is sure to impress even the highest collectors. The Alfa’s version of the warranty card is available and comes with the car. The interior is original to the car with the black vinyl being in excellent condition. The bucket seats have enough side bolster to hold you in when going through the corners and are comfortable enough considering this is a sports car. The shifter is in a great position placing it right at arm’s length. If you have been wanting to get into the collector European car scene but don’t want to spend 6 or even seven figures this little Romeo would make for a great compromise. Options on this 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 include, AM/FM, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Wheels and Radial Tires. Description:

Up for sale in our Atlanta facility is a very rare piece of automotive innovation. Gateway Classic cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this F-85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Jetfire. The Jetfire shared the distinction with Chevrolets Corvair Monza Spyder, as the first production turbo enhanced power plant on the market in the United States. The defining improvement was the 215 HP engine could produce twice as much torque as a naturally aspirated engine twice its size. Turbos were not a new invention, commonly used in aircraft production and these turbos were adaptations from that development. With that being said this F-85 for sale is a stunning frame up restoration. Having appeared in multiple automobile inspired periodicals, Motor Trend September 1962, Cars and parts June 2006, Muscle Car review 2008 and the same car pictured in Wikipedia’s historical page of the Oldsmobile Cutlass. Having been lovingly cared for by its current owner for the past ten years this Cutlass for sale is reported to one of twelve remaining in this color and options. Dressed in a stunning shade of red accented by a white top, the F-85 turbo-rocket came with only one option package. Bucket seats, console, two chrome fins on the hood and two full length separated the Jetfire from its other F-85 brothers. With a documented top speed of 110 MPH be sure and race down to Gateway Classic cars of Atlanta. Options on this turbo charged Cutlass F-85 include; Unique trim molding package, center console, bucket seats restored in new old stock coverings, and a clock that works. To see over 100 HD photos and a running driving video please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call the Atlanta showroom at 678-893-4833

Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro! What powers this one? A bad to the bone 383 CID V8 stroker engine mated to a smooth and easy driving 4-speed automatic transmission. This one is finished in an excellent red color with white touches and features a red interior. One of the worst parts about classic cars is the heat. Many older cars never had air conditioning. This is a Texas car which means it is probably one of the most valuable additions a driver here could ask for. This one has A/C to keep you cool on those hot days! It also features all aluminum heads for better flow into the engine and a roller cam for increased power and efficiency. The car has a 3500-stall converter which will help getting this monster off the line when you’re staged at the red lights on Friday night! Included with this Camaro is an air suspension system which improves ride quality, comfort and the overall appearance of the car. This car features an AM/FM radio and CD player so you can listen to your favorite tunes as you drive around in your fine piece of American automotive history. The first-generation Camaro appeared in dealerships in 1966 for 1967 model year. A brand-new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform was created as a 2-door, 2+2, hardtop or convertible, with the choice of a straight 6 or a mighty V8 powerplant. Almost all 1967-1969 Camaros were built in the two U.S. assembly plants in Norwood Ohio and Van Nuys California. There were also five non-U.S. Camaro assembly plants in countries that required local assembly and content. These plants were located in the Philippines, Belgium, Switzerland, Venezuela and Peru. In 1969 the Camaro carried over the previous year’s drivetrain and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a much sportier look. The grille featured a heavy “V” can’t and deeply inset headlights. The Camaro go new door skins, rear quarter panels and rear valance panel which gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The 1969 model year was exceptionally long, extending into November 1969, due to manufacturing problem that delayed the introduction of the second-generation model planned for 1970. It is a popular myth late-69 Camaros were sold as 1970 models (due to GM publicity pictures of the 69 Camaro labeled as a 1970), but they were all assigned 1969 VIN codes. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Houston Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (832) 243-6200 or email us at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer this low mileage 2005 Hummer H2. GM unleashed these off-road behemoths in 2002 as the new age iteration of the original H1. Like the Hummers that preceded it, the H2 maintained its larger than life appearance as well as the off-road performance that made the brand famous. With gas prices through the roof and poor financial planning on the part of GM, the Hummer brand ceased production back in 2009 making these trucks a prime candidate as a future collector’s item. For many of the H2s, their Hummer name was immediately put to the test and with seemingly endless customization options available at the time, owners were quick to modify their H2. The example on offer is likely one of the most original low miles H2 you’ll find. With only around 13000 miles, this H2 remains untouched and would be the perfect addition for a collector. The only modification that was made on this H2 was an upgraded Corsa exhaust with a beautifully subtle sound coming from the 6.2L V8. The exterior is a brilliant classic Black with the factory silver wheels with the full-sized spare mounted to the tailgate. Inside the cabin you’ll find a spacious black leather interior with factory navigation and touch screen. Sitting in the drivers’ seat you’re greeted with all the bells and whistles from the factory giving this off road machine a surprising feeling of high end luxury. In the back there is plenty of room for additional passengers plus an additional third row seat. If you are looking for a future collectors item then be sure this 2005 Hummer H2 is on the list. For more information regarding this beautiful Hummer H2 please call the Chicago Showroom at 708-444-4488 or email us at Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Additional photos and HD video of the vehicle running and driving can be found at GatewayClassicCars.com. See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/CHI/1425/2005-Hummer-H2

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this sharp 1940 Ford Pickup. This sharp truck has many sought after 40’s features that are getting harder and harder to find. Being powered by the famous Ford 221 Flathead V8 engine, paired to the date correct 3 “on the tree” manual transmission, and equipped with a Columbia Overdrive rear end this truck really drives like it would have back in the 40’s. When you hear this flathead engine fire up with its duel exhaust, you wouldn’t believe that it only rated at 100HP! The whole drivetrain has been completely rebuilt during its restoration in 1990. Over the last 20 plus years this truck has only had about 3,600 miles put on it and belonged to the same family. When first seeing this beautiful truck, the paint shine really stands out. This truck is painted two toned in Garnet Maroon with black fenders and red pin striping to tie it all together. The black bed cover is new and hides the light tan wooden bed that is in great condition. The style of this truck really comes from the 5th spare tire and rim that is mounted on the passenger side of the truck. When you hop inside of this truck you instantly notice the Saddle tan leather interior. This Saddle color has also been added to the headliner. This truck has been very well upkept and some would think that the restoration was recently competed. If you are looking for a piece of Ford history than this would be the truck to add to the collection. Perfect if you want something to cruise in or even take to be shown off in local car shows. Do not let this 1940 Ford pickup pass you by! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1940 Ford Pickup, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Nostalgia Super Stock with a 572 HEMI. Nostalgia Super Stock is a category of drag racing that recreates the glory days of the 60’s. Starting back in the mid 80’s there were quite a few guys beginning to revive the spirit of the original era which led to the class being formed. This 66 is a fitting example of what these cars are all about. No fancy ECU’s collecting data for the next hit or controlling spark and fuel mixtures on this beast. Just plain and simple raw power with the driver trying to get it to the ground. This 66 was a great car when started with the body in an excellent condition the attention was directed to the heart of the MOPAR. Built by Muscle Motors in Lansing MI, the 572 CI HEMI is a force to be contended with. Putting out a ground shaking 800 HP standing next to this behemoth at idle is something every gearhead needs to experience. With those massive Hemi heads taking up so much space it takes a couple looks to figure out how that got so much engine under that hood. With the cross-ram intake sitting on top getting enough fuel to this animal is the least of your worries. Built by John Cope the reverse manual valve body 727 trans is exactly what you would expect in such a build. Getting power to the ground is the bullet proof Dana 60 rear end which has been filled with a set of Moser 40 splined axles. The 4.56 gear set will get this MOPAR down the ¼ mile perfectly. The cage has been certified and meets the NHRA standards for nostalgia super stock with the fit being one of the best I have seen. The Gary Ball Super Stock interior is clean and what should be in the car keeping it as close to the real deal as possible. With a build expense into the 6 figures and only 20 passes on the car this would be an excellent way to get into one of the most competitive and coolest classes of drag racing there is. Options on this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Nostalgia Super Stock include, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Bias Ply Drag Tires on the rear and Radial tires on the front. This 1966 Plymouth Belvedere is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Pontiac GTO. 1964 is what many consider the birth year of what many consider the original Muscle car. John DeLorean was chief engineer at the time and noticed the exploding HOTOD scene. Consisting of young men taking anything they could find stripping it down and stuffing the biggest engine they could in it to make it go fast. He loved the idea so much that he decided to stuff a 389 Tri- Power in a midsize Tempest with some better suspension, a set of rally wheels, and finally three little letters G T O. Little did he know history was writing itself and the GTO would go down as the G.O.A.T or greatest of all time. This example has been restored back to its original glory and is sure to take you back to a better time. The paint has been redone back its original color with base coat clear coat giving it a deeper look than ever achievable in 64. The trim is as good as it comes with the bumpers being in some of the best condition I have seen. With it being a 2-door post car there were far few less of these beauties built making this a rare find. The aftermarket wheels are like what you would see back then but just a little taller to give it a modern look. Under the hood is a period and date code correct 389 with the 3 deuces sitting on top making this one of the hottest engines of its time. Matched up to a classic and correct 4 speed transmission this is exactly what DeLorean dreamed of, a car from the factory that was basically saying get in, sit down, shut up and hold on. A quick peek inside reveals classic Pontiac with the interior reflecting what you would find in 1964. The vinyl buckets with 4 speed shifters sticking out between them let everyone know this isn’t your Grandma’s Tempest. If you have been looking for the one started it all without draining the bank account, this 64 GOAT is the one for you. Options on this 1964 Pontiac GTO include; AM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1964 Pontiac GTO is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville proudly presents this beautiful 1957 Chrysler 300. The 300 line was introduced in 1955 to give Chrysler a suitable platform for stock car competition and, given free rein to win at all costs, its engineers wasted no time netting back-to-back NASCAR championships. In 1957, hell-bent on elevating Chrysler to Americas premier automotive brand, those same engineers took home top honors at Daytonas world famous Flying Mile. And by the time this long, low and sleek land rocket hit the streets it had officially broken Americas stock car speed record, become one of the fastest production vehicles ever sold, and gained the nickname Motorized Dynamite. Today these highly coveted classics are considered a significant step in the development of what we now affectionately call muscle cars, and theyve long been the premier year for Chrysler letter car collectors. With this cars 392 cubic inch Firepower V8 Chrysler created a big block legend thats still highly regarded as a revolutionary blend of performance and luxury. Not only does this hot Hemi mill produce 375 horsepower and twist stout 9.25 to 1 compression into 420 lb./ft. of torque. Induction is handled by a pair of gold air cleaners that are piped directly into two high performance Carter 4-barrel carburetors. Hop inside this handsome Chrysler and youll find a spacious and airy driving environment which has enough room to haul the whole family in comfort and style. This professionally restored 300C Convertible represents a huge milestone in the development of Chrysler Corporation as a powerhouse manufacturer. After tearing up the beaches in Daytona and shattering speed records at the firms own Chelsea Proving Grounds, it single-handedly spawned the world-class performance image Chryslers eponymous brand enjoyed well into the 70s. If youre a discerning gearhead who likes top-notch classics that draw crowds wherever they go, this high performance luxury machine will be a significant addition to your collection! Options for this 1957 Chrysler 300 include; AM Radio, Power brakes, Power steering, Power Seats Power Windows, Vinyl Interior, White Wall Bias Ply tires with Wire Wheels.
